Super delicious huge naan with varieties of sabzi options available
Particularly love the varieties of Raita available
They also have huge stuffed naan as well
This amazing place Kake di Hatti serves the best Naans and biggest one too.
Though now it have many branches in delhi , but my favourite is the original Chandani chowk one.
I have tried dinning in all its branches but this place in the middle of the busy streets of chandani chowk just gives you goosebumps. This restaurant authenticity just give you another level of food dinning experience.
And if we talk about food, it's is just amazing. From their big big Naans to dal makhani to its paaner to its malai kofta, everything can just take you to heaven.
It is highly recommended 👍
Heaven for North Indian Food Lovers , Awesome 👍
They have such delicious north indian food. The size of their naan and parathas is really good. Dal makhni, shahi paneer, chaap, raita, gobi paratha were really delicious. Whatever we ordered was finger licking delicious. It is pocket friendly too
Order cautiously as the portion size is large and especially the breads. The north indian food of this place is really awesome and this place should be on the list of every foodie!!
If you can eat one full biggest size paratha here then that means you have a crazy appetite ! If you come here be careful on the parking issue, its not easy. Also weekends be be ready for long waiting hours. I loved their garlic stuffed paratha more than anything else. A little on the greasy side, not for people who are in diet. Taste and make is good though ! Very prompt service.
This place doesn't need any introduction and any review for the quality and quantity of food being served. Located in the heart of the Delhi, serving the best vegetarian food. I have tried Dal Makhni, Chole, Raita here and believe everytime I went I couldn't even try other dishes as I couldn't move on from the previous one I ordered and I wanted to taste them again. But the actual limelight are the giant size naam being served with a lot of butter. I have tried aloo naan, amritsari naan, gobhi naan, aloo pyaaz naan, paneer naan. All these were so delicious and available at such affordable rates. Only single order of naan could be enough for a small family. This place is must visit place for all the food lover and everyone who loves to eat North Indian food.
This place serves one of the most delicious Dal Makhani in Old Delhi. Their paneer and Chole are also good. But the limelight are their Naan. Kake Di Hatti makes amazing Aloo pyaaz Parantha, Paneer Parantha, Mirchi Parantha which makes you come back to this place again and again. The service is prompt. Gives you the true feels of Heritage Delhi street food 😊Highly recommended to all the food lovers
I went to this restaurant many times with my wife. I really like the paneer butter masal with aalu naan. Nice cravings.. it's fingerlicking good
Best of Amritsari Naan Available across the Globe. Must try if you’re a Punjabi food lover. Serving since 1962. Not too overlypriced but good quality food. It can be busy as hell but these people are fast when cooking orders. Amazing jumbo aloo paranthas and chur chur paranthas. Very reasonable, very cooperative staff. Great food!
One of the best naan I had in Delhi! The thali and Amritsar kulcha specials are so delicious.I wish I could return here every day☹️Visit for the Delhi's best naans with best North Indian curries. Also must try the kulfi just aside the restaurant @gianikihatti super yummy delicious. If u are North Indian food lover must try.😊
We have visited Kake Di Hatti for dinner few times and always had a great time. The food is tasty and the staffs are so friendly as well. clean and hygienic too
Very delicious and spicy food in delhi-6. sahi paneer and aalu naan is damn awesome must try and it is in the market ,so you can enjoy the streets of old delhi
Been there to this place during my last visit and though the ambiance is not outstanding but food its was really amazing. Its fully veg restaurant with variety of options.
Kake di hatti has been quite famous around the city and has now made it's name for various franchises can been see today.
But what is so special about this place?
[Ambiance] as you enter the arena of Chandni Chowk, the overcrowded streets and a bit muddy roads may make you wonder twice about the place, and more so when you are standing right in front of it, it may seem like a dubious idea, as the place has seating on the first floor, which is lead by narrow staircase, and the ground area just defines the cooking and baking area for this restaurant.
BUT
[Food] There is no doubt the place is, As I call it "King Of Naan" the "North Indian Sartaj" (North Indian King); in the menu , you shall find various types of authentic Indian Bread- Naan. my favorite one is "Cheese+Onion+capsicum+ Mushroom Naan".
And believe me, its quite a deal in terms of its quantity as well. The so called "Baby" size naan would suit you best if you are not famished when you come here.
In the end, The place has always been my favorite and would suggest you to must try once, for next time, you'll come here without a doubt :P
Tried their dal makhni and biggest naan cost Rs 240 fo r this combo and enjoyed it a lot, dal makhni was very delicious and naan was that big so two people can have it easily at a time.
A fine place for vegetarian food in the area. The food is always cooked perfectly and the staffs are friendly too. Huge menu so you get everything you crave for. go and try, you will love it
"I chanced upon this place,on a random tour of Old Delhi and boy, was I blown away! Their Naans are massiveeee! I had never seen this big naans anywhere, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't gulp it down, even though it was insanely delicious. Hot and Yummy! I think its a must try experience for all foodies!
Only drawback is they don't have enough sitting place and the ones available are not very hygienic, but cant really blame them, they are sitting right in the center of a huge market with such dearth of space around!"
Kake di hatti is one place you visit during the shopping and sight seeing spree in Chandni chowk. You cannot expect a very sophisticated ambience and service but definitely amazing scrumptious food. We ordered Kadhaai soya ki sabzi which was flavourful and spicy along with that we had Amritsari Kulcha and Chur Chur Naan which were just lipsmacking
A good restaurant to eat in chandni chowk and very tasty food. I ordered dal makhni and naan and it was good in taste.
Today I am going to share with you all my real experience with this restaurant. I visit this resturant last year in Delhi NCR. There are no special facilities available in this restaurant. There is a lot of taste in this restaurant’s food presentation and food content. And there is a lot of nutritious ingredients and vitamins in this restaurant’s food items. Sometimes the food products sought by the customers are not available here. Because of which customers and guests do not like to come here. The ambience of this hotel is not conducive to customers and guests at all.
There is a lot of decorative and cleanliness in this restaurant, there is plenty of garbage around this restaurant. Due to the abundance of resources, there is a lot of pollution around this restaurant, which makes customers feel suffocated in this restaurant. This restaurant does not offer any special service to customers.
This is why customers are less attracted to this restaurant. In this restaurant, the customers are not provided food according to their taste. Money keeps the value of this restaurant in the restaurant, but if you look at it according to food, then this money is very demanding. Which makes a lot of money waste. And there is no value of money too. Keeping all these things in mind, I urge all the people to never go to such restaurants
Hello my all dear friends today I am share my persinol exprince about a restaurant.it is name is Kake Di Hatti, it is located is Chandni chownk Delhi NCR.it is full on air conditioned and it is pure veg restauant.it is cuisines is north indian. It is payment method is cash and cards accepted, it is restaurant poppuler dishes is dal makhani and lauki raita.Kake Di Hatti Is most poppuler in all delhi.that is all in very fair price and costumer services is very good.i hope you will love it whan you try it.
Best of Amritsari Naan Available across the Globe. Must try if you’re a Punjabi food lover. Serving since 1962.
Tasty delicious food, great crowd situated in main market. Have to try everyone, I like this taste😋😋
One of the best restaurants for vegetarian food.... Not too overlypriced but good quality food. It can be busy as hell but these people are fast when cooking orders.
In the market since decades, and ruling since then! Amazing jumbo aloo paranthas and chur chur paranthas. Very reasonable, very cooperative staff. Great food!
I had Amritsari Thali. The taste of Amritsari kulcha was good. Size of naan was big. 2 big pieces of naan was given. In pic. only 1 is shown. They also served boondi raita, cholle and palak paneer. Would like to visit again to try new things
Been there. Really great food. Aloo and paneer paratha is best! Service and quantity is good too. Way to go!
We went here with some friends during dinner time.
Ordered the following:
Kake Amritsari Kulcha
Chole
Boondi raita
Missi roti
The quantity was really nice. Kulcha had potato stuffing and was good in taste. We found it enough for 2-4 people. Personally liked the boondi raita. Chole were not too good but decent.
The biggest naan is Delhi i guess.. when in Chandni chowk, do visit this place for Naan & Dal makhni. The best in town. Huge quantity at reasonable prices. Ambiance is the only negative point
This place is really bang for the buck. The taste they deliver in every dish is simply amazing. The kake stuffed naan are really good and must have. Place is usually packed and it will tough in the evening to get a seat here. They have an amazing history which you can listen from the owner if he is free enough.
Kake Di Hatti is a nice place in new Delhi with an old Delhi taste for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorite place to try the biggest butter naan, they also serve mini naan, which seems to be the largest one. Guys visiting Chandni Chowk need to visit North Indian's best place here.
One of my friends who live in Chandni chowk suggested me to try this place for lunch and I kindly obliged.
This eatery is a perfect example of Dhaba, that too an very old one which is situated in the small lanes of Fatehpuri.
The ground floor is the cooking area where you can get stuff packed and take away to your home. They have a small eating area on the first floor where you would have to wait for sometime to grab a seat.
We had a detailed look at the food menu and ordered a few things.
The dish of the say was Dhuandar paneer butter masala which truly justified its name as I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can still recall the amazing taste of that dish.
Kadi pakora was good in taste as well.
Stuffed chur chur naan was dissapointing as it was vet hard and was nothing like the usual chur chur naan.
One of the specialities of this place is the size of the naans which they serve. They have two options: Kake naan and Baby naan.
We ordered a butter baby naan and that naan was sufficient for 2 people lunch, so you could imagine how big would be the Kake naan.
Overall i liked the place and I would give it a try again to savour some other delicacies of this place
Delicious food. U will feel elachi, long, etc. in every bite. Alloo nan, moolli nan, gobhi naan & paneer nan a delicasy. Size of nan exceptionally very big.
this place so amazing taste of food is awsome and i fan of aalo pyaj naan because is so big around 12 inch big and naan taste so good i like this .
The first restaurant that rings my ears when someone says chandni chowk. Located about 15 min walk or 5 min e-rickshaw from metro station its a little gem.
Famous for the huge naan this place serves vegetarian food which tastes next level.
Must try
Chana masala
Aloo naan
Shahi paneer
Harayali paneer naan
Very much crowded in weekends as seating capacity is less but its worth it.
My all time Favorite Naan , Spl Chees naan , Its been 15+ years I am visiting this place with My Family & Friends
My favourite place ever for trying biggest butter naan , they serving mini naan also which looks like this one is the biggest . Guys if you visit Chandni Chowk must visit here best place for North Indian
Hands down one of the best for basic indian food that reminds you of your roots.
It's one of those iconic places that you visit just for the name . But mind it , it's famous for a reason . The food is really worth the bucks that you pay , especially the Naans and the Stuffed Chaap .
A vegetarian's delight. Loved the taste of the stuffed naan here. Ordered malai kofta, kadhi pakoda, amritsari naan and the awesome dhuandhaar naan. The taste was good but as the eating space was crowded it became very hot in there despite multiple ACs at work.
In short a must visit for all vegetarians and in general the food lovers.
When it comes to flavors, looks like nothing beats the streets of Chandni Chowk in Delhi. Delicious North Indian food is what we enjoyed here. Dal Makhni, Paneer Butter Masala, Tandoori roti, stuffed Naan - all picture perfect. The portion size is very respectable for the price. All-in-all, a place to visit when you are looking for good food and are willing to close your eye for ambience.
Visited this place in month of July and summer was on peak. This place is known for its biggest nan or pratha which are server whole day. We tried Aloo pratha as well aloo pyaj pratha and both were good in taste. Prices are reasonable. Forget to drive car here.best way to reach here is Electric rickshaw from metro station.
Mamta Dhayal #TheMangoCouple
Great food- we had the standard course, dal main, pbm, jumbo butter nan and amritsari naan. The quality of food was top notch. The service was super quick and staff courteous.
Yamyyy food. U can't eat 1 nan it's so big size and stuff with parner. I love it
This is a place I always wanted to visit with my friends. I visited this place last weekend and the experience was amazing. We ate until we could not anymore.
This is a very old place in Old Delhi that dates back to 1950s. The place has a sitting arrangement of about 40-50 people and can get quite congested. We stood in the line for about 10 minutes to get a table.
As we sat down to eat, we ordered there most famous Naan and Dal makhani. We were hungry and were desperate for some good food. Food arrived with some huge Naan's that we thought we would not be able to finish but it was so delicious and tasty, we ate it all.
Dal Makhani was amazing with everything in just the right amount with a huge cube of butter on it.
Paneer Naan was stuffed with at least 1kg of Paneer and it went great with the dal makhani.
If you still feel something is missing, order a glass of Lassi with the Naan. The lassi was thick and very fresh.
Even if someone prefers Non-vegetarian food, one should definitely come here to experience the great taste of Old Delhi.
Things to Order
1. Dal Makhani (5/5)
2. Paneer Naan (5/5)
3. Sweet Lassi (4/5)
4. Kadhai Paneer (4/5)
An iconic outlet for veg food lovers in chandni chowk . It is a very old shop and very famous for their huge sized naans . The interior is not so good but the food quality is amazing and you will find it crowded every time you visit.
The ideal spot for mouth watering old Delhi style delectable sustenance !It's a pleasant vegan café with a stunning assortment of dishes and sweet staff. It's a brilliant spot to eat or lunch.People come here to have the old Delhi nourishment. The fundamental thing well known here is kulcha which is of outrageous size and extraordinary QUALITY filling. You will without a doubt fell that you are sitting in old Delhi and having a supper dur to it's Ambience. You can unquestionably visit here once.
I assure you, whenever you get there , you'll have to wait for your turn. And there is a reason for that. They serve great naan. I love dhuandhar naan the most.
Yum yum yum ..i love this place for satisfying my taste buds.must visit this place .the taste and aroma are something magical.ambience is good
I had a mix baby naan, paneer kadhai and a lassi. Everything was upto the mark. Baby naan is more than enough for 2 persons and lassi was one of the best i ever had. Will surely visit again
One of many places here in Old Delhi that attracts foodies is Kake Di Hatti.
We visited this place in summers especially for their naan. Which is supposed to also be the biggest Naan in the city.
What an experience!!
Food is good.
It's a Pure Vegetarian restaurant though.
We went to this small yet over-crowded Dhabha from
the Station without much expectations. It had great reviews on Zomato, and was nearest from
the Old Delhi Railway Station. The ambience would be a bummer but it you wanna have some authentic Dal-makhni, and good stuffed paranthas, then this is the perfect place for you. We also had Mango Shake from the adjacent shop which had taste of its own, and had quite an unique taste.
This shop is famous for it's Dal Makhani and giant size naan. Though the dal makhani is really good in taste, the naan is nothing special as such..just big in size.
Shopping in Chandni chowk, this place offers amazing food. It doesn't take much of your time for lunch with its fast pace of service giving you with the most of the time to explore the market. Suggested dishes are Dal Makhani, masala pulao and the legendary KAKE NAAN
Great great great food!!! 👌🏻 Definitely a must try for authentic and tasty North Indian food! Dal Makhni and Shahi Paneer are worth dying for. Cannot afford to miss this place if one is in Chandni Chowk. ❤️
The service and ambience could do a lot better. But it's an old joint and they wanted to keep it authentic I suppose.
Could be super crowded on Weekends dinner time. Try to reach early or do a take out.
It is a one-time visit place as it is an old and famous shop so visit once. They have good naan . Specially dhuaadhar naan. Naan size is very, very big. Can't finish even 2 members. Sitting arrangements are below average. Have a rush as well
Food taste is authentic, if you are okay to be in queue to get some amazing naan then you should come here if you are planning to shopping in chandani chauk market.
Lemonade and cold coffee are amazing too.
I personally did not find it that great. It seems pretty famous, there was a rush. But will get seating easily. Food was okayish, authentic Punjabi. Prices are moderate. They don't accept any digital mode of payment, so keep cash.
I have been to this famous restro in Delhi 3-4 times.
Must visit if you are in delhi and love to have proper naan and choles .
• We ordered Chole thali which was average as chole's taste was not that spicy and tangy .
• We also had Malai kofta and Naan which was really Goood .
• Lastly , we ordered Chhaas which was so refreshing and so gooood
◇ Highly recommended : Chhaas
Kake Di Hatti in Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, is a legendary eatery known for its delicious vegetarian fare and rich history. The food here is undeniably tasty, and their bread, especially the naans and parathas, are exceptional. The fact that it's an age-old establishment adds to its charm and authenticity.
I ordered Spl Handi Dal makhni, paneer lababdar, laccha paratha, chur chur naan and gobhi naan. It was all take away and they accept cash only.
The Dal Makhni at Kake Di Hatti is renowned for its creamy and flavorful preparation, making it a must-try dish when you visit. The establishment's commitment to pure vegetarian cuisine is appreciated by both locals and tourists.
Overall, Kake Di Hatti offers a delightful culinary experience with a focus on North Indian flavors. The historical ambiance and delectable food make it a top choice for those seeking an authentic taste of Delhi's culinary heritage.
One of the finest Indian restaurants in Delhi. New take on street food and recreates old delicacies. A must try!
I went here to get something, then after many hours I felt very hungry.
Then I couldn't see anything around to eat so I asked someone. Will we get anything to eat here?
Then a man told me that you can go here, then I went here.
Looking from outside, it seemed a bit strange as to what the food here would be like.
Then I went inside and sat down. I didn't understand what to say here.
Then I called the service man and asked him what can I eat here.
He talked to me very lovingly and suggested me that you can eat naan.
Then I ordered Naan, kadhai Paneer and Lassi.
Believe me, when I ate Naan, I liked it very much.
But I found one thing a bit useless Kadai Paneer. It was not good at all.
Lassi was good.
I would like to tell you that if you are fond of eating naan, then you must come here.
Located within the bustling lanes of Chandni chowk....this legendary eatery will give u the best yet the most simple north Indian food. The place is crowded but the service is quick. The food is delicious and the portion size is just right. The kake naan is huge and will take more than 1 adult to finish it. Do visit this place if you're in search for some amazing vegetarian north Indian food.
Paranthas are great in taste and also in size,🥰😋.
Service was great.
3 paranthas are enough for our family.
The waiter's suggestion was also good.
Tea is also great .
Really enjoyed the food and service .❤️❤️
Firstly, the food is really tasty and worth the wait(not more than 10 min) because this place is always crowded.
Sitting is available on both ground and first floor.
This place serves authentic food made with khade masalas enhancing the whole dining experience.
It is nearby Chandni Chowk Railway station, also called Old Delhi Railway Station ( walking distance)
The nearest metro is Chandni Chowk.
A great place to eat while shopping in chandni chowk.
You might have to wait a while to get a seat but the wait is worth it.
Lassi and chaas are a must try to get refreshed in this humid weather.
Everything was fresh, hot and delicious.
Had a great experience. Butter Amritsari naan for 100 rupees and boondi raita for 80 rupees were mouth- watering. I would recommend every one to try it at once at least. You would become a fan of it. Also it's a cosy and crowded place. People are jostling, coming and going.
This is the place from where kake di hatti originated and it went on to expand to many cities. Also it has its chain in foreign countries.
I met the owner Gurdeep Singh ji (who is 3rd generation inheritor), and had shared my experience. He talked about his ideas of further expansion to many cities covering a global audience. The best part of him was that he was humble and a ground rooted person, who has a vision to serve Indian cuisine to the rest of the world. He told me " See, here we are sitting in Chandni Chowk, and talking about global business expansion, which is not a normal course of action ".
I had the pleasure of trying the Amritsari Thali at Kake Di Hatti in Delhi, priced at 210₹. This thali included shahi paneer, chole, Amritsari naan, raita, and Gulaab jamun. The taste experience was nothing short of amazing.
The shahi paneer, prepared using khada masala, was a revelation. It offered a unique and delightful flavor that I hadn't encountered before. The chole was equally impressive, with both dishes benefiting from the use of khada masalas, resulting in rich and delicious flavors.
The Amritsari naan, aptly named the "baby Amritsari naan," was stuffed with aloo, pyaaj, gobhi, and generously drenched in butter. It was so rich and flavorful that it was a bit heavy to finish entirely.
The Gulaab jamun, a classic Indian dessert, was the perfect way to end the meal, with its delicious sweetness.
Despite the culinary delights, it's essential to note that Kake Di Hatti is an old, small establishment located on the bustling Chandni Chowk street. If you choose to sit on the first floor, be prepared for some discomfort, as the masalas used in cooking can lead to itching in the eyes. Additionally, the quality of service could be improved. Despite these minor inconveniences, the taste of the food at Kake Di Hatti is definitely worth the visit.
