The best place who serves the best Chole Bhature. I always wanted to go there but somehow it didn’t happened. But finally I went Bhimsain’s Bengali sweet shop, i was super hungry at that time so I ordered Chole Bhature and sweet Lassi and let me tell you about the huge size of their Bhature. A single person can’t finish it by its own, it’s that heavy! It was super delicious and lassi was working like cherry on cake and in this case you can say lassi on chole bhature😜 definitely recommend to you, please go and enjoy their food items.

I went to this place on a recommendation as it has been quite popular there for years now.

Ordered Chole bhature and Masala Idli. Chole bhature was as expected worth it. In my opinion, Masala Idli was average because of the Idlis being a little too deep fried.

Everything on the menu was budget friendly and not too high priced which I loved.

Happy with the service.
They take Bulk orders too for Sweets and Packed lunch.

An outlet in Bengali Market that serves some lip smacking food. Their sweet delicacies are worth your pocket. This place is a pure veg place which is apt for any type of light or heavy meal. Their Chole Bhature is something that no one should miss. Because of the office goers you will find this place always crowded.
A highly recommended place to everyone.

This shop is the extended version of bengali sweets. Earlier they had only sweet shop but then they extended their menu and also started serving foods like north indian, south indian, Chinese, quick bites etc.
After extension, bengali sweet covers large part of bengali market. Which is really commendable. They have many famous dishes like golgappes, chaats, rajkachori, chhole bhature.

Where do you take your desi mummy, who's hungry and believes "pasta burger se koi paet nhi bharta" to for a post lunch time break that should have good air conditioning too cuz the sun's breathing fire? A place like Bhimsain's Bengali Sweets!

A small walk away from the Mandi House station and nestled in the Bengali Market is this place that not just gives sweets but has you covered for a meal with thalis and whatnot.

Kinda overestimating our appetite, we went on to order ourselves Chhole Bhature, Raj Kachori and Masala Dosa (that we ordered in place of a dessert cuz dosa and aloo.)

The Chholle Bhature were tasty and not at all oily, the only thing that makes any bhature feel light in your tummy and leaves space for more, which is very important for variety is key.

The Raj Kachori was all the chaat/dessert we needed with the saunth making it all too sweet yet the dahi giving it a refreshing balanced taste. My mother really appreciated the quantity of dal moth it came stuffed with which was not overpowering the over all dish.

Even though we were full by the time we got the Masala Dosa served, it was the rightly so greasy dosa with a dollop of mashed masala aloo that we got in for. It was indeed a good ending to the meal.

My mother loved the family friendly place and appreciated the hygienic condition and the cooking as the food we had refected of it.

A good place to eat out with family.

Was near Bengali market for some work as it got finished it was early evening so didn't want to go for proper lunch instead had something for snacks.
So going by the reviews on Zomato ordered
gol gappe chaat which good but nothing special which pulls you again
Pyaaz wali kachori: The best thing about it was that it was not reheated in microwave lyk other sweet shop does. Took it with cholle on sides but did not like it as they were quite dry.
Now when you visit a sweet shop how can one miss on the sweets So orderd Gulab Jamun: It was quite soft and fresh.

The service was promt the staff was courtious
Overall a nice place will comeback again if in or near bengali market.

On a winter afternoon - when in the mood for a quick but slightly sinful authentic lunch - no better place to head out to than Bengali Market. Of the 2 popular restaurants Bengali Sweet House is my favourite. Tawa Phulkas (Makai would be too heavy), Sarson Da Saag, Rajma and a bit of rice is heaven. Wrap it up with a Masala Chaas. And, if you can't resist it have a Kulfi or some Hot Jalebi with Rabdi. Divine.

The Bengali sweet house is an old and the most popular restaurants in close proximity to the heart of Delhi , Connaught Place. Situated in Mandi House amidst the cultural hub , this place serves love all the way !

☸AMBIENCE :
The outlet is spaced enough for larger accommodations with comfortable seating arrangements.

☸I CALLED IN FOR:
Ordered the Chinese sizzler which was basically based on a cabbage leaf pallette dumped with haka noodles , crispy tomatoes , broccoli, and capsicum!
In addition , tried the cold coffee, though too sweet can be consumed on cheat days !

☸STAFF AND SERVICE:
The staff is warm and welcoming while the service is quick !

☸COST:
Every food item is reasonably priced !

☸FEEDBACK:
A must go for barring all the hungry food voices growling inside that empty tummy especially when you want to have those *chaat* times with your bunch of friends !

Bengali sweet House, the oldest one located in the Bengali Market. The Hunger savior for those who would like to have tasty food in CP area. You can find more parking space then people here for this shop. People wait for their dine in turn even in this hot summer as well.

They are famous for their food and specially for snacks.

I ordered their famous Pav Bhaji and Aloo chaat. Chaat you can customized as per your taste bud, we ask for spicy and get it like that. The taste is yummmm. The bread (Pav) used by them are soft and the layer of butter is there for essence.

Must try place. Do not forget to order their Chhole Bhature. I ate ample of times from here so this time I tried something else.

Full marks for their taste.

Dahi Gappe 😛
.
So its almost time to get free from office and hop into your nearby market and grab some mouth-ful snacker 😱
.
Whats best than a Dahi Gappa ~ A Crunnchhyy Gol Gappa, over-filled with thick n lousy curd, added to it is Tamarind Khatti-meethi Chutney and Green Coriander Chutney topped with succulent अचारी-कचालू (Typical Spicy Kachalu) ⚡️

Fast, efficient and compartmentalised i.e. servings are outdoors and indoors too. Great range of fast food indian variety and to top it off are the excellent sweets. Dahi Papri ( rs 60) is fairly large and filling. Falooda Kulfi is worth it in summers. The staff are polite and methodical in serving and cleaning up the place. Avoid looking at the glum faced cashier though.

Bhimsain Bengali Sweet Shop

Established 1937

Bengali Market, Delhi

Visited this place many years ago, revisited  it today again. Renowned as a sweet shop, this establishment serves some of the best chat, all priced between 55 and 70 rupees. Sounds expensive but it's totally worth it. This is one of the places a lot of Delhi people rever.

Filling, sumptuous, good quality ingredients, fresh and delicious. The theeka chutney is the right amount of khatta and theeka, the imli chutney is dense and alive. The fusion of both these tangy, sharp flavours makes the chaat at Bhimsain's one of the best. The Paper chat is served with pasty curd, beaten with some green and red chutney, crisp wheat papdis and a sprinkle of ginger/adarak strands for a kick of spice. The Golguppa is either atta or sooji, the atta being thinner and crispier with a shorter life span; the sooji is thicker amd heavier. Both are satisfying in their own way; I personally feel sooji puris absorb the tangy flavours better. The theeka paani is to die for.

Coming to the sweet, we couldn't leave without having tried the rasmalai. Large sized milk cakes dipped in flavoured milk... the kesar and pista flavour  just makes you smile. This is a smooth sweet ride instead of an instant sugar rush. And its a very lovable ride.

Nathu's is right opposite and frankly I always find it tough to choose between the two. Thank you Delhi for giving us both these joints.

Bengali sweet house- not just a sweet/ desserts place but more of a Legendary restaurant has been in place since very long. This place has earned its name after years of consistent performance, be it the famous bengali markets gol gappe or the other dishes like cholle bathure, people just love coming to this place, which is prominent from the number of people dining at this place at any point of time.

The famous rasogulla of this place is one the most amazing sweet you can find in Delhi. The place is very reasonable and has lots of options on the menu. You can fill your belly in almost 250-300 bucks.

Those with a sweet tooth will definitely enjoy this place and should aim for their mixes and combos in the sweet section. The combo of malpura with rabri was fabulous. The sweetness of malpura was well balanced with the sweet and mildly salty rabri.
Their snacks range is pretty much easy on your wallet be it chola bhature or dosa. They come cheap, quick and delicious. Although, their lassi wasn't as good as the test of the items on the menu.
To be honest this was better than its counterpart sharing the same wall and the same name. Be alert in having a seat in the right Bengali sweet house the "Bhimsain's Bengali Sweet House".

Bengali Sweet House is not so difficult to find as it's a place that most of the people around knows about. This review for this sweet corner is little late but I must say, Raj Kachori & Choley bhature were nice and Gulab Jamun is a Must try as it is served hot. Apart from that their other chat items were not so great. They seems OK to me. The place has a lot of Rush in every other hour I guess. Service is too low. They sometimes forget your order or sometimes your spoon. But one thing I'll write that again... if you're passing by that place and wants to eat something sweet then must try their Gulab Jamun. There is nothing extraordinary about this place, but I'll rate it 4.0. It's a restaurant you can drop in for an inexpensive lunch or dinner and would would rarely return dissatisfied. The food taste is good, ambience not special but a notch above the new street food joints you see in Delhi. Though I'm not a big fan of the chaat here, it's popular with a lot of other people. I often visit it for its location - close to Connaught Place, yet a little less crowded.

We visited this place 2-3 times recently due to its proximity to our class venue near mandi house. Though the restaurant is kind of an open restaurant, it has ACs installed on the side walls which fail to provide any relief from the heat. It is more appropriate to have quick meals here rather than having a full meal. We tried both. We have tried from dal makhani shahi paneer to chole bhature ,kesar badam milk and lassi. We liked almost everything. The prices they charge are quite low and this makes this place a value for money.

Ambience - 3/5

Food - 4/5

recently visited Bhimsain's Bengali Sweet Shop, a place known for its wide variety of sweets and savoury snacks. My visit, however, was a bit of a mixed bag. I tried their Aloo Chaat and Aloo Tikki with Dahi. Both dishes were quite average, failing to live up to the expectations I had. The Aloo Tikki was under-seasoned, lacking the necessary salt that would have brought out its flavours.
