The best south Indian chain I must say. But I love the North-Indian platter they serve. The food is full of flavors and nutrition. Family like ambience with some musical instruments playing in the background. Good services and humble work force. Amazing food of course!
Masala dosa and thali was so awesome and so yummy taste wow that's great ๐
Best place to have dosa. Refreshes childhood memories. Love Sagar Ratna

Yess they have a very vast variety of Dosas, iddlis, vada, uttapams and lots more to fulfil the hunger of their customers.
The best thing they offer is the filter coffee๐

Quick and easy joint where you can go with your family and enjoy good south Indian food. Decent ambiance and decent food.
Best things to eat would be dosa, also they offer other food items as well apart from south Indian these days.
So all in all a good option to have south Indian delicacies.
I ordered dahi vada and panner masala dosa and they were amazing. Good dinning and good ambience.
Taste is great but the rates are seemingly high
Hey guys, so today I just visited this beautiful restaurant. The food was truly amazing, the ambiance was very cool, the staff was friendly. The food was pocket friendly and was truly amazing.
Good traditional place, suitable to go with families. Even when in a mood to have clean good saada food with taste. No extra oil or spice. This is the place. Even chinese is good, along with south indian.
Sagar Ratna is so good. For North Indian or South Indian food this place hit the spot.ย I had dosa was so good and sambhar was so yummy and coconut chutney was amazing.ย

This is a family restaurant, located in outer circle of Cannaught place ๐ข
It is a 2 storey restaurant ๐ฏ
I visited here with my family on my sister's birthday ๐
It was a weekend, so it was full of guests and heap crowd โ๏ธ
The manager was very friendly, and was constantly taking feedback of the ordered food, and if we require anything, which is commendable.
We ordered Onion tomato Uthapama, Paneer dosa, rava onion masala dosa, masala dosa and lemon rice ๐
It was served hot ๐ฅ
The taste was awesome ๐
It was crispy and really delicious ๐
I would definitely recommend this place to you.

Recently I visited Sagar Ratna with my family as we were searching for South Indian Food and I think this is the best place to have the same.
Coming to the ambience and staff:
Ambience was pleasant and the staff was humble and friendly. But they took a lot of time to prepare our food.
Food I ordered:
Coconut Uttapam
Dal Tadka
Tandoor Roti
Idli chaat
Rava Kesari
Mysore Pak
The food tasted good. So, you can visit there and can spend a quality time with your family or frnds. ๐คฉ
This has to be one of the smallest sagar ratna outlets in Delhi for sure. The outlet has sitting space for very few families. I went to the outlet alongside a few colleagues for a lunch and our experience wasn't much pleasant. Our order was delayed a lot and even wrong items were delivered to our table more than once. Even payment processing took like 10-15 mints . However the delivery experience I have had with this outlet is great, the food get's delivered on time and is nicely packed and hot. I would like to suggest them to improve in-house staff to provide a better dine in experience to customers.
South Indian is a soul food, whenever in a mood for a light breakfast, lunch or dinner i head straight out to have south Indian food. It is delicious, flavoursome & light on the tummy too!!
Sagar Ratna is one of best options in the city for South Indian food..
Few of my favourites are Mysore Masala dosa, Idly Sambar, Curd Rice & Dahi Vada ( this one was introduced to me by my bff & has stuck with me since years now)
Whenever in a mood for South Indian, must head out to this outlet. The servuce is good & food mouthwatering
Sagar Ratna always comes to my mind when I wanna have South Indian food.
Recently went here for dinner, ordered the following -
Rasam - this is something that I order Everytime I visit this place and it never disappoints me. I love it!
cheese dosa - tried this for the first time! This was full of cheese, just like itโs name but very tasty as well. Perfect for anyone who loves cheese!
Masala dosa - classic choice and always a good one!
Spring roll dosa - love the combination of Chinese and South Indian, indeed a good one!
I was looking for south indian food in connaught place and find sagar ratna near by only so visited here. Its located on outer circle and parking is just front of outlet only so it was easy to reach outlet.
It was weekdays so restaurant was not much crowded.
Had butter masala dosa and filtered coffee, coffee was average but butter masala dosa was excellent.
Sagar ratna has always been a good option whenever I have had those south indian food cravings! They serve the most authentic south indian dishes with great taste and hygiene! I love their sambhar and chutney!!
This is quite a decent place.. ambience is more of authentic south restaurent. Taste of food is north Indian south flavour.. music is soothing played all time
Tried the 4 feet long family Dosa here after the lotr many posters and social media hype , and yes the name is on point . it can be eaten by atleast 4 members.
- Sagar Ratna Connaught Place is my all time favorite south Indian joint.
- I used to come here since many years.

south indian is my favt food...but the quality and tradition of south indian food is i have seen in sagar ratna....all foodย served according to their tradition and with a traditional look.
My go to place for south indian cuisine is hands down sagar ratna. If you dont get a table at Sarvana bhawan in CP , you can visit sagar ratna in K block , it opens at 8 in the morning and one can have south indian, north indian, chinese .
I love their mysore masala dosa, mix veg uttapam, dahi vada , masala dosa.
The sambar and 3 variants of coconut chutneys are served with dosa and uttapam.
I am a huge fan of Sagar Ratna ๐คฉ
Personally my favorite outlet is in sarojini nagar...
Here too you can fulfill your South Indian cravings ...
Staff here is very good๐
Best south indian food.
You will get chinese and indian food also .
Amazing food quality
Service is also good.
Family restaurant , staff were polite .
Best place for South Indian food ... Tried there vada and idli ... How can they cook such a tasty South Indian food ... 5/5 for food ... I will ordered food from Sagar Ratna in future...
So this is the trump card of #sagarRatna. A 4-5 ft long dosa ( to be called as family dosa). It serves 4 people sufficiently and desirably. It can be called as a food for unity. It feels like a one, when a complete family bumps on a single dosa... lol ! ๐
Well, the filling they serve adds a typical South Indian touch to this table long dish. I was pleased to had it and will surely have it again ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Had dinner here with friends last week.. Everyone was super nice and accommodating! Food was excellent.Highly recommend for some delicious South Indian dishes.
Quick service and delicious food with affordable prices. A good place for breakfast , lunch and dinner. It's a family restaurant we often visit here . Idli chaat, cheese dosa, badam milk, and dosa combo one must try.
The place is located in the Ashok Hotel compound... the food is typical Sagar Ratna and good.. the quantities per dish are huge... the place is expensiive though.. a Masala Doa costs Rs 300 plus.. the place has ample parking... service is good
After having not so good time on Saturday we again went to sagar Ratna outlet in CP.
We had fabulous time there and food was excellent in quality and taste authentic South Indian food.
We had
paper plain dosa,
plain idlies which melts in mouth and were so soft
Vadas diped in sambar
And last but the best filter coffee.
Loved the experience
I have eaten south Indian food from so many places and to be precise out of all sagar ratna outlet i find this outlet's food preparation is the best. Their spring roll dosa and rasam and mix uttapam is what i love to have. Their dhai vada is also a must try. Its an old branch and still serve authentic south Indian food. They have huge sitting space.
A better branch of Sagar Ratna in delhi and noida.
The place is quite appealing.
They have really good tea and coffee.
Vegetable Uttapam and butter masala Dosa are worth a try.
The place serves really good south indian items as compared to the other Sagar Ratnas.
Delicious and as expected great food quality along with the desired taste you will be experiencing just like in restaurant. I will surely order from Sagar Ratna in future whenever I'll crave for South Indian food.

If you love south indian food, you must definitely pay a visit to sagar ratna. The taste aptly suits anyone irrespective of whether they particularly have a liking for south indian food or not.
I've been there 3-4 times and have tried a lot off their menu. The food was good in taste and service was equally good as well.
However, if u want to taste new types of food, then i won't recommend this place.
This place is wonderful. Ambience is good, quality service and soothing music. There filter coffee is nice. Must try Veg Uthapam along with sambhar and coconut chatni . North Indian thali is good.
You can spend quality family time with good food.
Sagar Ratna
One of the finest restaurant for family gatherings.
Have ordered Rava Masala Dosa.....It was served hot and very crispy.....
Samber was as usual very tasty...
Good experience...
When tounge craves for Daal makhni & butter naan firstly sagar ratna comes to my mind... I visit there lot of time but reviewing them first time... Food just awesome.... Ambience great... Good Service..
If u love to romance with south Indian delicacies folks then this is the place,Plus Food Adventure alert* "THEY HAVE A 4 FEET DOSA" , i competed wd my Bae on this.
Ambience is decent wd a typical south Indian resturnant fragrance all around.
I prefer this over sarvanna Bhavan coz the flavors here satiate my north indian spiciness and sarvanna bhawan's plain flavours not at all appeal to my taste buds.
Quality of the food is good as usual. Service is quick. Best thing I like here is idli chaat which is light and easy going starter. Dosa is obviously tasty here but Be careful in selecting dosas as some dosas like garlic dosa is on a bitter side and one May not find it as tasty as masala dosas.
I like stuffed naan here which is ultra soft and tasty. Tried gobhi masala also which is good.
Coming to Connaught place outlet, ambiance here is not good compared to other outlets in Delhi NCR.
Price in Sagar Ratna will not pinch you especially in Connaught place where most of the places are serving 2000 for 2 kind of menu. Sagar Ratna will not cost more than 1800-2000 for 4-5 people. They donโt even charge the service charge.
If you are particular about South Indian food and want to have something really good then Sagar Ratan and itโs CP branch is the best after Defence Colony branch. Rasam papad, South Indian thali, spring roll dosa, rava dosa, dahi vada is the best and the thing to have it their.
Excellent service and delicious, freshly made food. Servers are very nice and serve with a smile even if at 8 in the morning. A great place to grab breakfast.
Sagar Ratna a restaurant in cannaught place serves you food which has the taste of your home , yes this place serves you good and appetizing meals with a cozy environment . I heard about this place and visited for the first time and it was good.
The ambience was really good with a good lighting and a cooperative staff.
As we are only three people we ordered and thali and a dosa.
Letโs talk about the VEG THALI first
So it has dal makhni , shahi paneer, rice , naan , papad , pickle and salad and everything was good and it feels like home food with a good amount of each thing.
Then came DOSA
Its like any other dosa with sambhar and coconut and red and green chutnyies .
All in all my experience was good and we have a good amount of lunch .
Sagar Ratna is one the old legendary restaurant that comes to everyone's mind when we think of south Indian food and yes is the best.
Like we say old is gold, Sagarย Ratnaย still the best south Indian restaurant.
Sagar ratna is one of my favourite place to have South Indian food..they serve good South Indian delicacies..this time around I ordered for Madras idli fries, rawa paneer dosa, watermelon juice and filter coffee (must have)..superb taste and ambience..
First of all I'm not fond of vegetarian foods. So when my colleague nikhil asked me to try this restaurant I was like..whaatttt??
but anyway I went there and believe me I 've not tasted veg foods this much tastey in my life. We ordered for Veg biriyani, sahee panneer, butter nun. Service was quick and behaviour of the staffs are very professional. Sitting arrangements were very comfortable. Overall a nice experience for me and I'll definitely visit here again.
Foods were simply superb specially Masala Dhosa and Gulab Gamun. Rate was reasonable and ambiance was good. One thing to mention was about Chatni of Dhonepata.
amazing south indian dishes and chinese items are also delicious. there is a lot of crowd nd noise of their conversation bcoz the prices are not so high..
In a group where everyone wants to have a different cuisine then this is the perfect place. We ordered Navratra's special paneer masala, Dosa which was without onion and garlic and the taste was also very good. One mandatory masala dosa also one south Indian thali in which halwa was best. From north Indian cuisine, we ordered Shahi paneer with butter naan and tandoor roti. I won't recommend ordering mushroom chilli which I don't find up to the mark.
Today we visited here and ate 5 Poori, bhaji with kurma and 4 Pieces of Dal vada with sambhar. Dal vada, sambhar with coconut chutney was so tasty, Dal vada was so crispy and hot. Whole atmosphere was so nice. Very nice seating facility is available here.
Always a go to place for healthy & filling food.
We were there at breakfast time. Restaurant is clean with ample amount of sitting space and charging ports.
We ordered cheese dosa, idli chaat and ice cream sizzler.
With the original idea of dining at HSB when we went, having seen huge waiting outside HSB, we
decided to walk into this huge restaurant- which was equally full but we managed a table at the fag end of the restaurant near the kitchen.
Very, in fact highly professional service, very tasty food. The wait staff constantly checking out about the food & more so, bringing the next item you order only after checking with the guest, shows their professionalism.
On the food part, everything was very tasty, quite authentic. All the three friends of us really enjoyed our meal. In fact two of us returned for one more dinner the next day, before leaving Delhi. Would highly recommend & for sure will be back.
I visited the restaurant with my friends last week and I must say that the overall experience was exceptional.
Firstly, the restaurant was very well-maintained and had a pleasant ambiance. The staff was courteous and welcoming, and we did not have to wait for long to get a table (Usually in peak hrs -12pm-02Pm, 04pm-06pm & 8-11pm you need to wait for entry due to high crowd . The service was prompt and efficient, and the staff was always ready to assist us with our requests.
Moreover, the food quality was outstanding. The dishes were well-prepared and had the perfect blend of spices and flavors. The presentation was also very appealing, and we could not resist taking pictures of the food before digging in.
In addition to this, the hygiene standards were maintained properly. The tables were clean and well-arranged, and the washroom was also spotless.
Overall, I would say that the experience was worth every penny we spent. I would like to commend the management and staff of Sagar Ratna for providing us with such a delightful dining experience.
I would highly recommend Sagar Ratna to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a comfortable and hygienic environment.
We went to this restaurant as there was waiting in the next restaurant. Food quality was good, place was very neat and clean. Toilets are on the first floor, and are very neat and clean. Staff is professional and there is enough number of waiters to attend to customers promptly. I don't understand why they try to sell Chinese and north Indian food. Their south Indian food is very good. Idli Chaat was very good. There is enough parking very nearby.
Enjoyed the delicious Sagar Special Thali with 2 vegetables, dal, flavored rice, rasam, sambhar, 4 pooris, rice, aplam, pickle, curd and a sweet for 295 rupees.
If you love South Indian then must visit sagar Ratna. Food quality is good, place is very neat & clean.
Staff is professional and there is enough number of waiters to attend customers.
Budget friendly & mouth watering food i must say. I love south indian so much specially onion dosa which comes with 3 types of chutneys & sambhar, very fulfilling & satisfying.
Definitely recommend!
After walking around CP for a while looking for something not too spicy to eat, we happened upon this gem of a restaurant. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the Idli Chaat was out of this world. Mixed vegetable Uttapam was also very tasty. Rava Kesari and Gulab Jamun rounded out a great meal.
A really good place to enjoy South Indian food. We tried chettinad dosa and 2 flavored podi mini idli. Both were just amazing. Sambhar and chutney were also really good. Idly were soft and the dosas were crispy. We also ordered badam milk. That was not up to the mark. I didn't like the taste.
Very nice environment, delicious South Indian food.
On your request they also provide Jain good options as well which I love the most.
Tasty food.
Must visit if you are really funding good place to have South Indian food.
Food was super good. Great taste. Superb service,
Served quick and hot.
Just a little bit pricy from my perspective, other than that
It is a good place
Good restaurant. Food is delicious. Environment is nice. Must visit when go to Connought place.
A very warm eating outlet with a huge frame of Tirupati Balaji. The service was prompt, quick with friendly servers. The location of this place is also a key. We saw a lot of office-goers and families walk in the place. It had a certain warmth that draws you. The ever smiling staff just wins your hearts.
Service was very good. Food was okay. Cozy ambience feels great. Good experience.
Good variety of veg breakfast options but they can work on their chutneys more. If you fancy a colorful variety of mini idli then do try.
