They cook seems to be from south and prepared food like south love the taste of sambhal
Have tried many dishes here , must say a very good option for south Indian food, sambar is good , mini idli dipped in sambar and South Indian thali are pretty good here.

There are times when you just forget the ambience, presentation and just dig deep into the food. This is that place. Located on saraswati marg this little gem is not to be missed. The food is just perfect. The 12 pcs idli are worth any time of the day. The waiters are also homely. Must try super soft idli. Sambhar is the best in delhi period.
Another outlet serving authentic South Indian cuisine. Amazing Dosas, Mini sambar ghee idlis, Vada, Perfect Meals and variety of rices. I go here regularly for my breakfast.
This place is delight for south indian food. Not crowded. Interiors are not so good but the quality and taste of food is just authentic south indian. Had South Indian Thali and it was just perfect. Pocket friendly. Yes they has same hospitality of serving food like in any restaurant in south india, they have maintained the culture.
If you love South Indian, add this place to your list.

Their Rasam and papad is not to be missed. It is soooo goood!
Tried their masala dosa which was good as well. The sambar was decent (I have had better).
Do try the Dahi Vada! It’s delicious and full of flavour.

My love for South Indian food made me go to this place and this place totally did justice to my love. Extremely clean and quiet place with friendly staff. We had sambar idli and onion uthapam. Both of them were delicious and satiated our hunger but not our minds. Would definitely go back to this place to taste all the goodness they have to offer!!
Ever seen the hug dosa for dosa lovers it's really the apt places to visit and have a bit of dosa and most delicious colorfully chutneys.

The second best south Indian food place in town. Loved everything from this place. My favourite items are idli and vada sambhar. Plus the tomato chutney here is delicious.

It’s a typically South Indian average taste they also provide a lil Chinese better to stay away from that they give a lot of quantity when you ask for the Thali you can’t take it all

Authentic taste for Vadas & Upma with two variety of Chutneys. This place is known to not only be open in the morning, 7 AM precise but to present you with Crispy Vada, Hot Upma, Idlis and more.
For the people living in Karol Bagh (0.1 to 0.5 km distance) & Old Rajinder Nagar (0.5 to 1.2 km), this is an easy walk by while finishing a morning walk. Walkable distances from Karol Bagh Metro Station/ DTC Bus Stand (0.4 km) also make this place good to dine.
Definitely suggested for the IAS/UPSC/Med-PG aspirants living around the area for breakfast.
P.S.: This is not having any connection with the "Saravana Bhavan" chain of restaurants, as some people get confused with.

This establishment is as good as it advertises. Dont expect any fancy furnishings ot decor since this establishment is surrounded by Guest Houses of Government PSUs (Banks, NTPC, etc) which makes it an attractive spot for Decent Government middle-aged employees who come there for fresh and healthy food without bothering themselves with the decor. This restaurant is almost an authentic South-Indian restaurant with a range of Vegetarian North-Indian menu like Pulao and Dal Makhani as well. But I would definitely recommend their Dosas because in 7 years of my staying away from my childhood home, this was the first restaurant that made me ask for more. Freshly made, exquisite in taste and and served graciously, these are the only words I need to describe their food. The staff, well since they are habitual of serving to Government Employees and Foreign Tourists [who seem to like the dosas of this restaurant very much surprisingly], the staff of this restaurant seems un-bothered and un-attached but they never neglect you as they keep on asking if you need more Sambhar or Chutney and the customer literally has to ask them to STAND DOWN. Its like eating at your Grandma's home. Moreover, whenever I tip the staff, unlike the staff of some other restaurants, the staff of OSB always accept it with dignity and self-respect and delight and when I visit the next time, the staff evolves into a mother from a grandmother to feed me better. Overall, no tricks. If you happen to a connoisseur of South Indian preparations, Dont believe any other restaurant in Karol Bagh advertising to be authentic South Indian restaurant and visit OSB.
Really good food. Excellent service and sober behaviour of the workers. The coconut chutney was very tasty so was the sambar. A good place to have south Indian food at cheap rate.

A very nice place to have really nice Dosas and that too in the heart of local shopping hub.
I visited here along with some of my friends on somebody’s recommendation. You can guess the interior of this place from outside, A typically south Indian restaurant.
Their service here is quite pathetic, but if you are a food lover you will never regret this place. Here we had Rava Dosa, masala Dosa, some noodles, and Pepsi.
Being south Indian restaurant, their Dosa were really scrumptious, however expecting nice noodles in a south Indian restaurant is something you should not do.
Finally, after years, we had Pepsi in a glass bottle.
I wanted to try something typical Indian and not too spicy. Saravana Bhavan came instantly to mind. We were three of us and ordered a fixed thali. Fixed thali had a huge variety - two vegetable dishes, rasam, dal, sambhar, poori, rice, papad, dahi, raita, pickle and a sweet dish. Goes without saying that the food was top notch! Perfectly balanced and very tasty . Fixed thali in particular was huge and very filling,
I was in the area with my mother and spotted this little place. I tried a few things - full meal and dosa. Loved the dosa. The meal was good too. The rates are pocket friendly and so is the quantity(meal had unlimited everything in one meal for one person).
Visited d place for d first time.. the food was finger licking good and that too at a very pocket friendly cost. The only disappointment was the service. However, very hygienic and tasty south indian food. :)
I found this place serves good breakfast. Only south Indian please! Cannot have paratha and chole so this is the best option! I like the filter coffee. But it is overpriced. Also at times the quality does not remain the same. The servers do not come to your table regularly you have to give them a call instead.

They undoubtedly, serve fresh, delectable & authentic south Indian cuisine. The portions of the preparations are decent & are always fresh. The ambience isn't anything that will captivate you but the food quality is just great. The service is quick & the prices are nominal. The recipes involve subtle combination of spices to ensure the food is flavoursome & not burning hot & spicy. The surroundings aren't super clean & hence I'd give 4.5 out 5 to this place
The best place to eat south indian food in karol bagh....quick service...authentic food...family oriented the only thing which is not good about the place is parking very difficult to get.
I m north indian guy who visited this place with my family last day. First i found a very unique comfortable environment as i entered, i don't often found it at many restaurants. Then we ordered some dosas, idli and uttpam. All the dishes were very nice as per the standard south indian food. Though i never been to anywhere in south india, so from my birth till now i had south indian food only in north. So for me it was one of the best taste i get in north.
Now service, i noticed other people here criticizing the services. I found it very good. Nice fast and attentive service. Food has served to us in no more than 5 mins.
Price: if you already have a good south indian food in not so good place, you will gonna find the same rates here as well with sone fine dining.

I loved the pongal here. Unlimited sambars and chatnis ( He served me 3 times and then he said it will be extra ) . Wada's was crisp and tasty. Just 5 minutes walking from Karol bagh metro station.
Fantastic restaurant!!! The service from the restaurant staff was lovely, they were very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, we came for breakfast and tried the paneer dosa, veg uthappam and medu vada, all were good. Chai tea was especially good. You can see into the kitchen which is reassuring. 10/10 recommend!
Great food! We had lemon rice, plain dosa and South Indian Thali. It tasted great. With the lemon rice and plain dosa, I could eat glutenfree, lactose-free and without garlic and onion. The staff was very helpful.

In Karol Bagh finally I got the best south indian family pure veg restaurant. You'll not regret spending money here, delicious south Indian food, well behaved staff. The restaurant is neat and clean. Individual I spoke with the cook who working in nellai annapoorna they already worked in best hotels in tamilnadu and south india, so the quality will maintain by them. what else do you need?

Amazing South Indian food in Delhi. A must visit for South Indian food lovers when in Delhi. Service was good, prices are reasonable, fast service.
Sambhar still can be improved as per South Indian taste but green and red chutney and dosas were really good. We had Mysore masala dosa and Nellai special dosa plus podi idli; all 3 items turned out to be good in taste.
