A place for awesome dimsums. Tried the soft shell friend crab. Was out of the world. The owner is an amazing host and made sure all our dishes were perfect. The pork and prawns are also a must try. Definitely recommended.
I’ve ordered the Kung Pao Tofu dry from the snacks section twice and both times it has been delivered with gravy. The chicken fried rice is never listed in the menu and once I even wrote in the comment section to send rice instead of noodles (as the price is same) but they overlooked it. Food is great though and hence we are repeat customers.

If you like oriental cuisine, not the Indian version, a little more authentic version; then give Nanking a chance. I've been here multiple times & though the ambience is nothing extraordinary & the service is just ok but the food is amazing.
Although the prices may seem daunting but the food quality & quantity is value for money.

Always order the sliced pork chilly and dry schezwan chicken. They are two best fail-proof dishes to try out in Nanking. I've been going here for years and the food quality has been great all throughout.this we ordered American Chopseuy which was very sweet as if whole sugar is the main ingredient in it. Lotus stem was also the same, very sweet and no garnishing

Visited this place after long time, found the consistency in quality and taste even now.
Started with seafood firepot (clear seafood soup) and Roast pork (found it among one of the best roasts; thinly sliced, perfect texture, perfect flavour and just right done).
Maincourse went with Mongolian chicken (tender, juicy & perfectly balanced sauce) along with mix haka noodles and veg fried rice (moist & fluffy).

Among the most authentic Oriental haunts in town. Have been a fan since 2012 when I discovered the place.
Have a very wide range to choose from in Non Vegetarian section. Would definitely recommend the Nanking Fried Prawns, Mongolian Red Chicken with Steam Rice. For people who love spicy, please ask the staff for the same, they are very careful about the same.
The staff is courteous & very attentive. The ambience is perfect with amazing wall murals & paintings of all things east. Must visit place for oriental lovers.

Nanking reminds me of the old Chinese restaurant that I used to visit with my parents when I was a kid. Not many restaurants still run the same kind of ambience.
The food is great as always. The always maintain their food’s quality.
It’s the best place for having authentic Chinese food.
One of my favorite places when I am looking at good Chinese food. Have been eating at this place for years now and rarely have I been disappointed.
Some things which are a must try -shredded chicken in chili and spring onion, dry slice ginger chili pomfret, dry shredded chili onion pork, lemon chicken, Mongolian chicken, prawns in black bean sauce, pepper crab. The chicken clay pot rice is outstanding. And stir fry noodles with vegetables are distinct and nice.
Nice place for autentic Chinese food. We had a good time there. We ordered Nanking special hot n sour soups which was nice considering I was sneezing. It had right spice. Along with Grill chIcken dimsum for starters. For main food red chicken (spicy) and rice flat noodles. Both dishes were awesome. We saw many expats visiting this place.

Nanking is my family’s staple, we’ve been going there for over a decade.
I love the chicken manchow soup, Nanking chilli chicken, mongolian chicken (the dry version, I’m not as fond of the gravy) and the chicken sizzler.
The panfried noodles are to die for, and the chicken claypot rice is a must try too.
We do occasionally order wantons, which are good for a change.
The ambience is a little disappointing, but it hardly matters when the food is this enjoyable.

This place has been stone throw away but never ended up going here. Finally went on independence day for dinner. The place is big with 3 floors. The interiors are basic and old. The place was kind of empty with few tables occupied.
The service was slow and had to ask for things. Coming to the food.

The main course dishes were very good and the quantity also was good. The dimsums were average and the soup was bad.
Giving this place 5 stars isn’t surprising at all. Had heard a lot about the food and ambience, hence decided to order and see. I tried the Sweet Potatoes, Lemon Chicken and Garlic Noodles. It was a delightful experience and would love to go there and try them again.

The food over here is just fantastic! You will not be disappointed. True the ambience etc is ok..but the food makes up for it entirely. My husband and I have made this our go-to soul-food place.

Undoubtedly the best Chinese in town. I have been visiting Nanking since a decade now, Whenever I’m in the neighbourhood. Not know to many but apart from amazing fish, crabs, lobster & other sea food, this place has some amazing vegetarian options- try the chef’s special stalin’s beard for starters, mock chicken (100% veg) , veg America choupsey, bamboo rice. The ambience is old world & cosy & the service is just brilliant. A must visit for everyone.
I visited the place for a lunch buffet . They prepare fresh food to serve you on your table .. soup,dimsum,chicken were awesome . Main course noodles were a bit oily than our liking but all in all value for money .

Whenever you feel like eating Oriental cuisine, and wish to visit a place with old world charm in New Delhi, then Nanking in Vasant Kunj is the place to go to.
I don’t know since when this outlet is there, but have been seeing it there since so many years. It really is a Vasant Kunj icon.
Ordered Nanking Chilli Chicken for starters. It was not very spicy except for the tiny red chilli bits. Probably a relative of the Naga Chilly, it really was a fiery one.
The soup was one of my all time favourites Chicken Tom Yam, which was just the perfect taste of slightly lemony.
For main course ordered Mongolian Chicken, Nanking Special fish grilled with Chilli ginger garlic and Chiili Garlic Noodles. All the dishes were superb with no overpowering flavours and the mild Chinese flavours were right on.
The ambience and the service are also great.

Nanking is a restaurant that i have been going since ages. My grandparents birthdays my parents aniversaries and offcource my bithdays. Everytime i visit here i am greeted with friendly faces. The service is fast and the food is amazing. Especially the juciy dimsums, the melt in your mouth pork belly, the zinginess of the chicken , the flavoursome prawns and for desserts the caramel custard which is to die for. The drinks here are also pretty good. At the end its economical.

The chinese food which we eat on streets is chinese with desi tadka. However, if you wana try purely chinese food then this is the place.
The clay pot rice, chicken kungpao, chilly chicken, chicken suimai, pan fried noodles, mongolian chicken are few of the famous dishes which i tried 😻
My favorite dish here is the stir fried tofu with broccoli. They customize the dish without MSG and dairy. Soups and stir fried veggies are perfect for a light dinner. Nice food experience when ordered from here.

It's a great place if not the best for Chinese food. We ordered Schezwan Chicken dry (This one's a must try), Pork Chilli and Veg Manchurian (This one could've been better) in the starters. The main course too had a lot to offer, we chose Chilli Garlic Noodles and Schezwan Chicken Hakka Noodles (Both are highly recommended) whilst my mother, being a vegetarian, ordered Chilli Garlic Fried Rice (This was way below par, could've been way better). Overall, it was a good experience and my family had a great time. For ambience lovers, this might not be your ideal pick (According to me, it has a 3/5 rating), but an enjoyable experience overall.

Started my meal with the slightly thick & empowered with the black pepper, Nanking style veg. HOT & SOUR SOUP (₹150/+) that was filled with finest of finely chopped vegies.
SHREDDED LAMB with CHILLI garlic spring onion (₹500/+) is a must have for people who prefer mutton a bit firm but easy to chew. It was excellently prepared with minimalistic spices.
In the mains, I had MONGOLIAN CHICKEN (₹480/+) that I paired with veg. Fried Rice (250/+). Now this dish was quite addictive in terms of taste and soft chicken pieces prepared in the gravy with the moderate use of spices

This place has been there for many years now and has amazing following.
I once again visited there last week with couple of friends over dinner. The menu has amazing options to choose from, we preferred to have vegetarian dishes only. Ambience is alright with multiple Private Dining Rooms. Service is too attentive and you are very well looked after. Portion sizes are generous as well as pricing.
For nanking, my expectation was a little high but the ambience was not very good. The lighting was dingy. Otherwise, Chinese food was very delicious and tasty and the service was also very fast.

We ordered from this restaurant for the first time. We heard is one of the best of its kind and it's been there for many years. The thing is that I am not sure about what we just ate. So we ordered:
Harkao
Mongolian chicken
Beijing saucy dumplings
chicken pan fried noodles.
We know that it takes usually 1 hour to deliver to our place but we never have any issue with any restaurants cause a good packaging is enough to ensure a good delivery. WRONG!So in this case the packaging is really, really pathetic and this affected the quality of the food cause everything was damn cold and, OBVIOUSLY, one cannot reheat dimsum. So our expectations were greatly disappointed. While the chicken dumplings seemed to be quite tasty, even though I am not able to give a full judgement about them, the prawn ones where horrible (and I hope they were cooked properly because I am pregnant and I dont wanna have problems ) The mongolian chicken must have been pretty decent but maybe it would be better to have it with hot rice. Now the problem was the noodles. We still are not sure if we got chicken pan fried noodles, because, as you can see from the pictures, we received some plain noodles (yes a bit pan fried here and there) and a bucket of chicken and vegetables separately. We didnt understand if we had to mix them or heat them up or what else. I was not happy with the dinner frankly, but I will give another try again eating in the restaurant rather than ordering from home. And maybe the management can explain to me how to eat those noodles with that clammy bucket of chicken-vegetables-something.

Last night I went to this restaurant with my family and we were 7 people. I like the ambience and the simple décor of the restaurant and also the space between tables and the lift as I was carrying my baby's pram. We ordered different items like veg spring rolls, chilly chicken, Mongolian chicken, Kung pao, pan fried noodles, egg Hakka noodles, fried rice.
I must say that all of us were super happy about the quality and the taste which finally was different from any other Chinese restaurant we've been. I've never been to China so I don't know how much authentic it is but for me it's one of the best Chinese restaurant of all my life. The only down was the pan fried noodles, which I had in Norenj (see review) and was much better. We will definitely come back here again every time we want to have Chinese
Nanking has never compromised on the taste and quality of their food whether in the retaurant or orderd online. Delicious with that special flavour as always. Kudos.
Nanking is a place that had been on my radar for good chinese food for a while now and the experience was decent.
Quantity or helpings are good. Preparations of non veg food far outweigh veg.

The red cook chicken is amazing and so is tofu in Buddha's delight. The food is fresh and the portions are good. Food gets a 4. They cud do more for the ambience. Will come bk. 😀
Its my favourite place for Chinese and have been visiting it for year (i stay very close by too). I have lived in China and know well that the food we get here is not similar but i fully understand when the owner tells me that people end up rejecting the authentic Chinese dishes so they have tweak the tastes. Nonetheless, I consider the place to have the most non-controversial Chinese and the personal touch from the guys running the place makes it a good experience on every visit.
The food here was delicious. The roast chicken was amazing and the chicken hakka noodle was fantastic. Spicy enough, but not too spicy for the spice fanatic.

All the foods are delicious especially for Chicken Noodle soup and Chicken Fried rice. My kids eats a lot. We can request to the table server for the taste that suitable for kids. Nice and friendly staffs.
Veg and non-veg available in this restaurant. Also have baby chair, can make dinning feels comfortable for family with small kids.
Nice ambiance, can sits near to the window with open view to outside condition.

One of best place to visit for date where you have private candel light lunch or dinner along with the movie theater and movie of your choice just you have to bring your movie in a pen drive.... Would recoment other to visit once...
