This place has the typical Japanese setup, with the standards of an Indian fine dining place. The ambiance, the fragrance, the music and the wonderful people add to this.
As we entered Kofuku we were greeted by the staff in the humble Japenese way. There are two types of seating arrangement. One is the normal restaurant style and the second one is the traditional Japenese low to ground table style of seating. Of course, we choose the traditional one.
We started with welcome drinks and salads. The citrus-based drinks Ume blossom & Gari Shoga were perfect for the summer heat. Ume blossom is a refreshing sweet & sour drink made of Plum (Ume), lime juice & sugar syrup with a pinch of salt while Gari Shoga is pickled ginger in lime juice sweetened with sugar syrup. We usually skip juices and mocktails as they are too sweet for our taste but these ones were just perfect for our liking.
For salads, we tried the Tofu Salad. The tofu was too soft and fresh, the Soybean curd and sesame dressing made it just perfect. We also tried Horenso Salad which was again fresh and flavourful. I was never a fan of spinach, but the Horenso salad with blanched spinach in Dashi sauce dressing just changed my mind: P
Following the salads, we tried the famous EBI Tempura which is crispy tiger prawns served with Dashi Sauce. The Ebi tempura was so light and crispy, while the dashi sauce added a flavor outburst to it. Seafood is our favorite and we just loved the tempura.
The Yakitori chicken was exactly like what we get in Japanese Izakayas (small pubs in Japan), freshly cooked and filled with the flavor of Yakitori sauce. While the food quality and taste reminded me of the food I had in Tokyo, the ambiance reminded me of the food joints in the alleys of Shimbashi where one would go to have a quick bite or for a detailed meal along with some drinks after work.
After yummy starters, we were waiting for the Sushi. We had ordered for the Chef's selection of assorted vegetarian Sushi and the signature non-veg Sushi, the specialty of Kofuku, the OMG Sushi which is the Chef special here. While vegetarian Sushi with Shitake Mushroom was good, the hero of the day for us was OMG Sushi. Laks ain't a Sushi lover and she loved the OMG Sushi and was like "If this is the Sushi you told me about, then I love Sushi:D ". OMG sushi had salmon, tuna, yellowtail & avocado with chefs special sauce which created a burst of flavors. ( I'm craving for OMG Sushi while writing this :P )
While we were still trying to come out of the heavenly taste of OMG sushi, there came the Miso Ramen Noodles. The flavorful Ramen bowl which had miso dashi broth with seaweeds is one of the best I had in India. We wanted to try Chicken Teriyaki, Man! the grilled chicken cooked and served in Teriyaki sauce was outstanding. We had also ordered Kakuni Pork which basically was the Nagasaki style pork belly stew and my my my the pork was super tender and cooked to perfection. The stew was too good that I drank it all :D
We were going through the situation Where you think your belly is about to burst but you are yet to start with the ice cream. Well, it was Green Tea Macha Ice cream and Oh buoy! I had trouble finishing it but tasted so good for me to abandon it. The food was the winner on our lunch date while the place and people added to the happiness.
Kofuku has a terrace where they host wine tasting evenings every month. Japanese food is not the only specialty of this place, they do serve great Korean food too.
PS: We have been told that most of the dishes cooked in Kofuku are made out of raw materials that are imported, mainly from Japan. So that's the reason for the authentic flavor. Never go to a place which serves cheap sushi or unhealthy pork, this is the key winning point for the tasty dishes at Kofuku. The salmon & tuna used in sushi are from Norway while the pork used is from Belgium.. Some things are good when imported.
We would highly recommend Kofuku to you guys if you are someone who loves to try different cuisines other than Indian.
Best place to get yourself introduced to Japanese food. Must try spicy Ramen noodle soup and teppanyaki fried rice.
Excellent. will visit again ! The best oriental cuisine ...
Loved their Prawn Tempura and the Sushi platter...It's opening soon in Ansal Plaza Delhi.

Awesome food
A must visit for some different cuisine.
Awesome food. Great atmosphere. Co operatative staff
Excellent fare. Tried the dumpling soup, Balinese curry and 'tamago' -Nigiri-Sushi along with 'Gohan' (sticky rice).. Humble service, great ambience and an experience not to miss :)
I'm loving it.... Lot's more to try hmmmm yummy #love the food #Excellent service
It's a great hit to try Japanese food. The ambience of the restaurant is amazing having a relaxed atmosphere and table setup.
In terms of food, tried the Miso soup with was nice and authentic. The Sushi platter is a must have and is actually really good. Also tried their version of dumplings, very different but extremely good. Forgot what it's called. The main course dishes of fish and lamb were good, nothing exceptional but worth the price. Their green tea ice-cream was average, nothing great.
It's a must try restaurant if you want to try Japanese food.
Went here for my two year anniversary and loved the place. The entire ambience is very japanese, and the food is amazing. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. They also don't bother you too much. You can just call them with a bell when you need something. We ordered Asahi beer, which is really good. We also ordered yaki tori chicken, tonkotsu ramen and oh my god sushi. I loved all the food. The sushi was very good quality and creamy. The tonkotsu broth was very well balanced, though I'd have liked if the egg was soaked in soy and only half boiled. But I'm not complaining too much as it is hard to come by decent japanese in Delhi, anyway. Overall, we had a great experience.
Long queue and wait time. Even after a wait time of hours you can’t expect a better sitting place. Quite disappointed :-( . People go there for the ambience too and doesn’t expect a table near kitchen where half of the time one get a noise of cutlery and plates .
We had a lovely dinner here.
The staff is courteous and doesn’t intrude every second, we ordered the sushi platter, ramen ( shin & shoyu), japanese curry ( chicken & pork katsu), mochi ice cream and dorayaki
The sushi and ramen are recommended and will definitely order again
The japanese curry was lacklustre, pretty bland but again japanese curry isnt meant to be as flavorful as Indian curry so if you cant handle heat this is a good option.
The mochi - ice cream ratio was not good. The amount of mochi was very less. The same with the dorayaki. The icecream was too overpowering and overtook the mochi as well the dorayaki ( which should be the highlight of the desserts)
Overall 4 stars
It is always a pleasure to come to Kofuku. The food is excellent, the staff is very courteous and warm, especially Bishal, Uzu and Joey. The service is always good and the ingredients and food quality is fresh and top notch. Would always recommend it for an authentic Japanese food experience.
An absolutely amazing experience with some really magnificent food and a really nice atmosphere. The portion sizes are large and the Seafood hotpot we ordered easily fed a family of 4. Our absolute favorite dish was the prawn okonomiyaki and I recommend it to anyone visiting Kofuku.
Great place for Japanese cuisine with a good relaxing ambience and polite and courteous staff... Tried their Japanese Katsu Curry Rice and Seafood Hot Pot which was good but not really upto the mark... Could have been better. Their sushis were amazing but. Will be definitely going again to try their other Japanese dishes in the near future
Amazing experience and delicious Japanese foods!
Their wasabi is the best in town. Staff was really good and the place was really clean overall it was a delightful experience 😋
We've been looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant and found Kofuku. The restaurant itself is situated on the ansal plaza and is tastefully decorated. If you're prepared to pay a little more for your food and appreciate authentic Italian cuisine, this spot is for you. The workers are really beautiful people. Now to the meat, which was excellent!!! Wonderful and tasty Japanese food.
I would come here again and again . They are fantastic in service and know their menu . Like it when they can recommend you from different types of sushi ..it was a pleasure eating here. Do try their drinks too ...the bloody mary is one of the best bloody Mary's I've had!! Highly recommended.
The appetizers were really really delicious. The drinks were refreshing and smooth. The rice and Ramen were a bit smelly because of the seaweed probably. But overall the experience was AMAZING. The asthetic seating was also something I've never encountered before.
I lovedd how courteous the staff was. I really really liked how quick the service was too. We ordered for a tempura prawn maki and crispy mushroom maki. Both were delicioussss! Loved the space. Thankyou for a great experience Kofuku.

Tried japanese cuisine for the first time. So glad tried that at Kofuku. Firstly they host you so well, help with picking itmes of menu and super welcoming.
We tried the following:-
Maki super crunchy - this is a vegetarian suhi option, but so good, will definitely order again.
Oh My God Sushi - its got the best of everything combined in one sushi
Yaki Udon noodles- if sushi is not your thing, then definitely go for this !
Pure Buddha- this was a nice light cucumber based cocktail
Sakura Cherry Blossom- this cocktail is so flavourful.
Hello world! I am super impressed with this cute little Japanese restaurant at Ansal Plaza mall. Such an underrated mall and what a wonderful restaurant.
The Japanese seating is so comfortable and gives you a vibe like you are sitting in a traditional Japanese home. Interiors are spot on! Also, they greet you with a smile and are quite prompt with their service. Smiley happy people - oh wonderful 🙏🙏😇😇
Moving on...
Started with Sakura cocktail which was delicious and presented quite well. It was unusually tasty. Gin based cocktail with cherries and god knows what all! 😁😁😁
The crispy roll sushi was very tasty. Cut into eight pieces and flavorful.
We had the bento box which is perfect for lunch or dinner. You can try different dishes in this. It had prawn tempura, a very nice tuna salad, Korean style chicken (oh yum!!), sticky rice and a soup. If you are hungry and want to taste whole of Japan then try the bento. It was amazing!
The tempura was crispy and prawn was succulent. I cant even describe the chicken dish! It was my fav! Tuna salad in the bento box was a hit too. ♥♥♥♥
Overall, a pleasant experience and very happy.
Amazing place, amazing ambience, amazing decor and lastly amazing food. We tried Sushi, Tempura, japanese style squid and miso soup. All were amazing.
Their “7 Course Sunday Brunch” Menu is an amazing experience! One can opt for the traditional or regular seating. They serve the buffet on your table and everything served is fresh and steaming hot. From the miso soup to the matcha ice cream for dessert, everything is wonderfully prepared. The chef will also very politely take care of specific food related requests. The ambiance and service is great too. Will definitely recommend this to people wanting to sample japanese cuisine. The “Sunday Brunch” is a lavish spread with portions sufficient enough for an individual to finish. Loved it!
Another gem in the slowly decaying restaurant scene in the capital city. Amazing service, super clean and sparkling restaurant and food that will not surprise but shock you. Actually one doesn’t feel they’re sitting in India at all. The vibe is very international and the service compliments this. The folks from the north east are really another level of professional. Kudos.
Fantastic restaurant. Very well done.

Kofuku, in my opinion is a great destination for Japanese food. The advantage that it has over several other Japanese restaurants is that it isn’t as expensive as many of them. After dining here (there were 6 of us), our bill came to approximately 7,500 (that’s less than 1200 per head).
The ambience is really nice. Each table has a mini room of its own so if you come with a group of friends, then you have your own privacy and need only press a button to call the staff. The staff in itself is efficient and polite.
Coming to the food, we tried the California roll, katsu donburi, meat bulgogi, a vegetarian dish that I don’t remember the name of (lol), Ebi Tempura and green tea ice cream. I loved the meat bulgogi and the katsu donburi. The sweetness of the bulgogi and the texture of the rice, egg and pork of the Katsu Donburi really hit the spot for me. My friends ordered two sushi dishes before I came. One of them had cream cheese in it and they were ranting and raving about it, so do look out for the cream cheese sushi as well.
All in all, if you’re a Japanese food lover then this place should be on your list.
A family favourite we love the sushi - Maki and nigiri. Both veg and non veg. My daughter is a fan of their Miso Ramen as well.
If only it were a little less expensive and less crowded we would have been a regular there. As of now it is only for special ocassions.
We all had a good time here today. The food was decent. We had the prawn cheung fung, pork belly, wasabi prawn, corn tempura, salmon carpaccio and others as starters. All were good. Then we had the chicken hotpot which was okay. The teppanyaki fried rice and pork in chef special sauce were really delicious. The green tea icecream, matcha icecream and the fruit salad with icecream were all very good. Did not click pictures of all the food as were all just waiting to dig in
Small cozy place with good range of Japanese and Korean cuisine.
Taste and presentation of their food is quite impressive and delicious.
Staff are friendly and attentive.
Value for money and will definitely come for more.
This is probably one of the finest Japanese restaurant in Delhi where you can get authentic Japanese food.
The Ebi Tempura (Tiger prawns) was really good, crispy and perfectly fried.
The broth in pork shoyu ramen and chicken miso ramen was just amazing, probably the best ramen I have had till now.
In dessert's Mochi ice-cream is a must have.
Had an amazing experience, would definitely visit this place again.
This place is probably the most authentic Japanese restaurant I’ve been to. Really nice ambience, delicious Japanese food and the staff is so so sweet and nice! I absolutely love this place and can’t wait to go back.
The gyoza that we tried was so flavourful, absolutely mouth watering. Their ramen is also really nice and authentic!
Definitely a must visit!
Kofuku is the best place in Delhi if you're looking to taste some authentic Japanese cuisine and not burn a whole in your pocket while doing it. I've been here many times, for lunch, for dinners and sometimes just for their Matcha ice cream! I've tried their Ramen, Tempura Rolls, Sushi Boat and other smaller plates of sushi and they are all great. The produce is fresh, especially the sushi boat, which tasted just like the ocean. What's more, I love the quiet and relaxing ambience coupled with the friendly staff that's always on their toes.
Best Japanese cuisine in Delhi!
Hands Down!
The dumplings and the cheung funs were to DIE for!
The Mapo Tofu was a delight, and the Niku Yasai Itnae was delicious with the sticky rice!
You guys make real good food!
I would recommend it to everyone who loves Asian Cuisine!
The food at this place is great. We tried nigri, maki rolls, sushimi - All were wonderful, the were freshly prepared and tasty. The newzeland lamb chops were spicy and excellent.
The downer was that the air-conidioniting does not work well.
Amazing place. Even better food. Their service never fails to amaze me. Quick service. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Apparently one of the very few places where you can get good japanese food. 5 stars all the way. If you happen to be here do take their prawn tempura.
If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant, then Kofuku will not disappoint. Although a bit expensive, it is definitely worth every penny and I’ll definitely be visiting again.
Lovely Place, if you are willing to try authentic Japanese Cuisine & dining experience, then do visit to this place. Me & my wife love it. The food is absolute Yum, Sushi’s are to die for, And every-time we are there we explore the menu like a new Food Adventure!!
The staff knows us now 😂😘❤️✌🏻 That’s how much we love it, They greet beautifully in Japanese as you enter & exit the place. And staff is so polite! 😇 Love you guys!
First, Kofuku serves one of the best sangria. We ordered seafood hotpot, it was delicious and was quite impressed with the quantity. At least 4 people can share the hotpot, since me and a friend shared the hotpot it was more than enough for us. We got the leftovers pack. Green tea icream was Cherry on the top. Definitely try the green tea ice-cream. Good experience!!
This is the place for an authentic taste of Japan in Delhi. The ramen is absolutely heavenly. If you’re feeling a little extravagant, try the black cod in miso. Its worth it (although I was so thankful for Zomato Gold)
I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal here, complete with saké and mochi ice-cream!
a perfect place for Japanese food in South Delhi, i have tried the salmon sashimi, Katsu donburi , miso soup and green tea ice cream ,it was just amazing food , a great ambience with all types of seating available , service was very attentive with some great people all around .
One who has minimal experience with Japanese cuisine can try the Sunday brunch. It has options of both vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisines. Soup had an acquired taste, appetizers and salads were palatable. Sushi and dumplings were really good. Balinese veg curry with sticky rice is so pleasant and comforting. Shrimp sushi is a must try. Dessert Daifuku icecream was a perfect ending to Sunday brunch.
Had the first sushi of my life cooked and served by them in the HT palate fest quite a long time back and then lateron tried some other dishes like sashimi and stuff as well.initially as a 1st timer, the dishes were tough to start with to be very honest but eventually you get a hang of it.the staff is pretty courteous too and trust me,not a single dish would dissapoint you as long as you have the palate for the jap's cuisine.
MONTH I was excited wheni booked a table at Kcfuku The ImDITIent the soft spoken hostess ushered us in , iknew it was going to be an awesome experience . We were taken through the Sake menu and we couldn ' t resist the offer of ordering two sake where the second one would come at a cost of Rs 2 ! ! ! Yes I swear ! ! ! The dainty Tokkuri and Ochoko stole my heart ! We ordered : Ton - Jiru - Flavorful Miso soup with pork & green onion was light on stomach and set the momentum Crystal Scallop & Prawn Dumpling - Lightly flavored Japanese style fried rice with prawns and vegetables was a good find Wasabichicken - This was a totallet down hence 4star review . The sauce was loosely covering chicken pieces which seemed tastelessly boiled , total misfit i would say Kofuku had my eye on it from the day i sawit while visiting a restaurant next door .
Really good Japanese food. Friendly staff. Good ambience. It was my first time visiting a Japanese restaurant and trying out their cuisine and I could't have asked for a better introduction to it. The food was to die for and the ambience was nice and cosy. It was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend it to everyone..
Good place to have Japanese cuisine, though not all dishes were good, definitely need to know how to order but very good interior and seating arrangements 👍🏻
Kofuku situated in ground floor Ansal Plaza Mall. Small outlet but busy staff. Service was very good. Every food here is amazing. Thanks to the chef.
Curried pork curry, shushi, tofu...
Every thing was superb. Specially the home madeIcecream.
The food is absolutely AMAZING! The food is sinful and divine at the same time...WOW! The food is the kind that one should experience at least once in their life! Best in Delhi...
I was fascinated with their Japanese traditional style of dining area and this happen to be my one of the reason to visit this place. I thoroughly enjoyed their relaxing set up where you have to go barefoot and sat down in low risen seating. We ordered asparagus tempura Maki rolls, veg sushi platter, Veg Gyouza with Roseberry tea & Balinese Sparkling sangria
My favorites was their veg Gyouza They are quite different in taste. I also liked their asparagus tempura Maki rolls.
I went to this restraunt n the staff was very good n the first thing was a miso seaweed soup n I did not like it as it had miso which I don’t like n the virgin mojito was very refreshing n the sushi, chicken sticks n prawn fritters were delish n the soup bowl of chicken n noodles also had miso n the dessert was hand pounded rice sheet cover on ice cream with kidney beans as garnishing
The authenticity at it's best when it comes to Kofuku experience, a true experience to it's name which means happiness in English, Kofuku serves the best Japan ese food with happiness in taste flavours and service.
The small cosy outlet with 5 rooms with traditional Japanese floor seating . And few covers with normal table chair dining.
Kofuku - Happiness - Food !
When it comes to Japanese cuisine, Kofuku does some great dishes.
The ambience sets the mood right from the point you enter the restaurant.
Recommended dishes
Horenso salad
Miso shiro soup
Shrimp tempura
Yakitori
Miso Ramen
Mochi ICECREAM
They are true to their flavours and the ingredients used are authentic to the best possible!
Our experience of dining at Kofuku was pleasant. For drinks, we tried the special flowering tea, which gradually blooms in the teacup. The taste is great and one can keep topping it up with hot water. In terms of food, we started with Yaki Gyouza with chicken, which was nice and moist on the inside (highly recommended) and Shrimp Tempura, which was beautifully presented (highly recommended). For mains, we settled for Chicken Teriyaki, which was moist but slightly high on sweetness (recommended) and Teppanyaki Fried Rice, which was delicious (highly recommended). The service is prompt and hospitable. The restaurant offers various seating options, including Japanese style dining. The regular dining tables can seem too close to other guests but the overall layout of the restaurant, including the bar with a great drink selection, is splendid.
A lovely place to hang out. The interior is beautiful as if I am in the country as well. Had Nabe or Hot pot with group. It was delicious!! Would love to visit again!! 😀
I was excited when i booked a table at Kofuku. The moment the soft spoken hostess ushered us in, i knew it was going to be an awesome experience.
We were taken through the Sake menu and we couldn't resist the offer of ordering two sake where the second one would come at a cost of Rs 2!!! Yes I swear!!! The dainty Tokkuri and Ochoko stole my heart! The extensive food menu did throw me off for a bit. But regaining the footing was easier with all the exotic platters craving for my attention.
We ordered:
Ton - Jiru - Flavorful Miso soup with pork & green onion was light on stomach and set the momentum
Crystal Scallop & Prawn Dumpling - Deliciously mind blowing tender dumplings are a MUST HAVE!
Teppanyaki Prawn Fried Rice - Lightly flavored Japanese style fried rice with prawns and vegetables was a good find
Wasabi Chicken - This was a total let down hence 4 star review. The sauce was loosely covering chicken pieces which seemed tastelessly boiled, total misfit i would say
Kofuku had my eye on it from the day i saw it while visiting a restaurant next door. I waited for a lovely day to do justice to the extraordinaire gastronomia. And it turned out to be just the right place for a Sunday lunch. The low table with a sunken floor and tatami mats separating dining areas; it was a cozy sitting with relaxed weekend vibes. I will be back soon, there are SO MANY other dishes to try, and no it wouldn't be only sushi!
Dazzling food, cozy ambience, ravishing interior& friendly staff but price might be a bit high for students. But trust me the variety of food, mocktail and cocktail options to choose from and the yumm taste is really worth the money.
Authentic Japanese food and very helpful staff, I especially loved the chef's sushi platter and the salmon carpaccio, the wasabi also feels fresh and not out of a tube
This is probably my first Korean restaurant and I was really thrilled to try a completely different cuisine. Also, wanted to understand the difference between Sushi, Kimbap and Maki roll.
Coming to food, we ordered:
Shrimp Tempura Maki Roll: I honestly couldn’t understand how it was different from a sushi roll. But it tasted amazing. If you are a fan of crispy rolls, this is a must try.
Miso Ramen: Ramen was very good and filling too. The chicken in it was so juicy- a delight for pleasant evenings.
Yakki Tori Chicken: maybe I was just hungry but this amazing soy glazed chicken starter was immensely satisfying. Juicy and perfectly cooked- this had a sweet edge. My perfect chicken to go with....
Soju- Chum Churum: perfect Korean drink and light.
Overall a small and cozy place, especially with its selective floor seating, as well as the outdoor. Will suggest prior booking if you want a total Korean experience. One suggestion, you can expand the floor sitting section.
Probably the best Japanese restaurant in delhi. Everything is perfect, food, bar, the staffs love what they are doing. One thing for sure, Do not take your friends who are only used to strong spicy masala foods, you will regret😅. They will never appreciate the delicately blended flavours. These are few of the photos i've taken.
If you love Japanese food must visit.. Must try their sushi, hotpot and chicken barbecue and of course their dessert. They serve delicious Japanese food plus good ambience.
Probably the best Japanese restaurant in town. Authentic experience (you'd find loads of Japanese expats eating here) and food, amazing drinks!
Looved this place!!! They even say "irashaimasen" and "Konnichiwa" when you enter. Its hard to find good japanese/korean restaurant in delhi, we ordered rayum(it was nice) and dak galbi (which just chicken and veges in korean sauce) which i really recommend here, though i didn't liked the calamari so maybe don't order that here, you can do sake tasting here if you wanna try japanese Alchohol, or have soju, though prices a bit much other than that it is nice.
Definitely, one of the best japanese restaurant in town. I had ordered sushi , a prawn and lobster ravioli and a tofu dish. For the dessert, we had the green tea icecream. Everything was amazing. The place is also very nice , gives you all the Japanese feels. The staff is also courteous.
I had chicken teriyaki, gohan and sushi their. I must say all of it was pretty amazing. Though it was a bit pricey but loved the food and ambience
I'd give this restaurant plus points JUST for being greeted with 'Irrashaimasse!' upon entering the restaurant. I appreciate people who go one step ahead to recreate the Japanese restaurant vibe, so here's to you guys for going the extra mile.
We ordered ramen, which is probably my all-time favourite Japanese dish. It was quite good; I think the restaurant does a decent job of making a good bowl of ramen, taking into account that all the ingredients wouldn't be available here in India very readily.
All in all, a value-for-money place that provides a sanctuary of calm reminiscent of Japan.
It's near to me or ha bhot bdiya jgh h mst sushi I bought from there service ambience and everything was neat and clean that I loved much.😋😋
Traditional Japanese decor and private dining rooms. Food and service is top notch. Other than the usual Sushi which was fantastic, I would highly recommend the Okonomiyaki. Only those who have been in Japan would know about the Japanese style pan cake which has no other equivalent. This is the only Japanese restaurant which does this dish and boy do they do it the authentic way. They have a nice outdoor seating as well.
Without a doubt a 5 star restaurant. Super clean, efficient service, effortlessly delicious food. Started with Ebi tempura, yaki chicken gyouza, OMG sushi and the Futomaki roll. Exceptionally well made sushi, with an intensely zingy wasabi (be careful). The yaki chicken Udon was a little bland for me , as i had expected it to be a broth bowl, but it was a semi dry plate of udon with chicken and vegies. The Balinese Curry is a must try, i can eat this any time of the day, super yummy stuff as was the Meat bulgogi, which is a sliced Red Meat dish . Overall thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the experience. Definitely coming back to this place.
This was a second visit for this restaurant. I came back to here just because my first visit was nice. the all staffs were polite and cheerful. The food material s are also fresh and from Japan. I will come back soon and will surely visit to Mumbai one as well.
Good food. The pre mains are quite good and filling. We actually couldn’t reach till the mains only. Do try the sushi’s and the tofu. The flower teas are also worth trying. Service was nice and quick.
Kofuku is by far the best Japanese restaurant to eat in. Great food and prompt service.
Definitely recommend their Sashimi, Gyoza and Yakitori.
Top that with their Matcha ice cream.
located in the now less populated Ansal Plaza, this place is quite an authentic experience. Right from booking our table to the ambience to the food and to the service, everything was top notch. The sushi is def worth trying. Ordered Crispy Prawn Roll along with their special Oh My God Sushi. Other appetisers included the chicken dumpling, which was quite sumptuous.
In mains, ordered kimchi fried rice, hot nd sour prawns nd Chicken Miso Bowl. The food is simply outstanding with good quality meat. Will def recommend to anyone and everyone who wants to have an authentic Japanese experience.
Lovely place with awesome food. Definitely should try their Sushi since it is one of the best. The atmosphere was lovely and family friendly. Should definitely try their Seafood and Pork because it was the best I had so far!
P.S. you can ask for spoon and fork if you are not familiar with chopsticks
The restaurant is pretty good. The taste of the food is very good. The quantity although is very less as compared to other Japanese restaurants in Delhi NCR (Keeping their charges in mind)
People trying sushi should be ask for advice with the restaurant stuff (applicable for all Japanese restaurant ) sometimes Indian taste does not match with their taste mostly results in unsatisfaction.
A definite recommendation for Japanese cuisine.
Nestled in the famous Ansal Plaza of Delhi, the restaurant boasts simple and elegant interiors, including Tatami Zashiki - a traditional Japanese restaurant seating, and polite and friendly staff.
We ordered Salmon and Prawn Nigiri, a portion of California sushi, Crystal scallop & prawn dumpling, Tori No Karage Chicken, and Katsu Curry Chicken (served with sticky rice).
All the order was delicious and we really enjoyed our meal. Recommend Salmon Nigiri, the dumplings (above), & Tori No Karage. Their Katsu curry had some Indian flavours, understandably. However, I personally think they can do away with it.
Overall it was a pleasant experience. The cost for the above order was 5k including two alcoholic beverages.
This place has a real Japanese feel to it with the low tables and separated booths. Make sure you are wearing shoes that are easy to remove if you sitting at one of these booths.
The sashimi moriwase platter was fresh fish. The miso soup was good.
In our quest to find a good Japanese restaurant in Delhi, we found Kofuku. Definitely te way to go. Varied food options, great staff and good food. Try the Sake Bomb...
Great food great ambience great service and over and above always feel great to b here
Best food ever had
Three cheers Kofuku for giving beautiful culinary journey
Thank you
Amazing place staff is so so friendly, polite and helpful. Ambience is great simple, subtle and beautiful. Food one of the best place to have Japanese, Sushi, Oriental I've been twice and liked whatever we ordered. Sushi is by far the best here. Matcha Ice Cream is to die for. It's a must must try place if you love Japanese food.
We had an extremely elaborate and DELICIOUS meal at Kofuku sometime back - A Japanese and oriental restaurant. We ordered for the ‘Oh My God’ sushi roll and boy, that really was our reaction to it’s taste. The roll consisted of salmon, tuna, yellow tail and avocado. It was on the saucier side and something really different from all the sushi we have had in the past. Up next was the creamy shrimp tempura with spicy and creamy sauce. The tempura was fried and crispy and served HOT! (It was recommended by the manager over there)
And finally, for main course we had the sticky rice with Chicken Balinesse Curry (a mildly spicy yellow coconut curry). It was a thick, creamy, SUPER DUPER creamy curry and we just couldn’t get enough of it.
We also tried some exciting cocktails, Japanese beer, Kirin and of course, the sake bomb.
The staff was extremely sweet and helpful, the service was quick, the ambience was neat and we already know we will plan a visit to this place again, for sure.

Great ambiance, good food and courteous staff. The sushi was very good. It was not dry like many of the other restaurants. Prawn tempura was good. The staff made a ginger cocktail for us which was really good.
Great Job Kofuku !
Food was very nice, but could have been a little less salty. The tofu appetiser was a really tiny amount (3 small pieces) - making it definitely overpriced.
Well well before I started jotting down anything let me just say - こんにちは KONICHIWAAAA !!
I visited this place 2 weeks ago and this was seriously a very peculiar experience. The ambience was very calming and soothing. About food, well we ordered dim sum and ramen soup and I must say I was blown away. The dim sum was very gooey and juicy. Same was the ramen, soupy and soothing !!
Staff was very courteous and enlightened us about the product as well. Without their guidance we won’t be able to select our dishes.
Overall experience - Just need to work little bit on the service apart from that everything is bang on !!
This was an amazing experience for me. We ordered kimchi jigae, yache kimbap, gyoza, and corn fritters. All of them tasted great, except the gyoza. The pan-fried dimsums was not my taste. The environment is really nice with clean tables and utensils. The staff is quite friendly too.
The coolest Japanese spot! The food rocks, and it comes super fast. The place is spotless and neat. It's totally my go-to in India. Heads up: Google Maps got it wrong. Kofuku isn't near Macdonald's.
How was I unaware of this restaurant until now? The private dining rooms are incredibly cozy, offering a menu featuring unique dishes not found elsewhere in Delhi. The service was impeccable, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. My highlights were the shrimp cheung fun, shrimp tempura, japchae, chicken katsu, and sushi rolls. Ankur, the manager, was exceptionally friendly and attentive to our office outing. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning to sample more delectable dishes and will bring more friends so they don't miss out. The only thing missing is a KTV next door to continue the party. 😄
I am sharing this amazing experience of authentic Japanese cuisine by the name Kofuku in New Delhi. This restaurant will take you to Japan with there food and ambience.
Thank you Kofuku for giving such a beautiful experience ❤️
The food is amazing!! The ambience is great and cozy because of the privacy. The miso ramen is great. The soft tofu could be better tho - I like the soup thicker and egg runny not overly done. I enjoyed the place tho
Been here twice, loved the food and experience. Would recommend. However, I wish they added an option of half serving in mains. Sometimes I feel like trying more things but they serve a large portion, which my appetite isn't large enough to accomodate it.
Cherished our visit to Kofuko along with my friends. Staff was courteous and helped us in every possible manner to help us understand what might the delicacies be offering us in terms of taste and ingredients. Awesome ambience with a fusion of bamboo artwork with Japanese traditions alongside the cutlery being served.
Kofuku located in Ansal plaza mall, ground floor. Went for a dinner, we were 5 people in total. Review for the same is as below:
Ambiance: The mall itself is not that great but the restaurant once you in it is quit nice and ambiance gives a authentic Japanese experience. We were 5 people and got the cabin with floor sitting. The same was a good decision and the experience was very nice. You have to take off your shoes to sit in the cabin.
Service: The Staff is very helpful and polite. They recommended few dishes which were really spot on. The table has a device on which you can press and get service. Service is fast.
Drinks: We had beer kingfisher ultra they have only big bottles, enso whiskey which was nice and in soft drinks coke and ginger ale. In mock tails we also tried the guava jalapeño sting which was nice.
Food: We tried a lot of things
Starters:
HORENSO SALAD which is spinach salad it comes as a sushi shaped but you need to use the chopstick to open it up, it was ver nice.
SPICY EDAMAME, this is one of my favourite dishes as it goes so well with beer.
AVOCADO CARPACCIO, this is veg avocado dish for me this was not too great the textures of avocado is too soft as per me.
YAKI GYOUZA - PORK, this was super yummy the gyozas were juicy and filled with flavour. A good pick as per me.
TOFU STEAK, this dish was veg and I usually don’t like tofu, but this dish was very tasty. A definite try, we liked it so much we ordered another portion of it with main course.
CRISPY PRAWN CHEUNG FUNG, this was one of the best dishes we had. The prawn was yummy and texture was crunchy and juicy. This is a definite try if you visit this place.
GRILLED ASPARAGUS PORK, the dish was decent though I didn’t find anything wrong with it but the portion size of it was a bit small as per me.
In the main course we ordered:
YASAI CHAHAN - VEG, which is basically Japanese fried rice, we ordered another portion of tofu steak with it.
TEPPAN YAKI FRIED RICE PRAWNS, as the name suggests this was tasty and the prawns were really a good option.
KAKUNI PORK, this was pork belly with a bit of gravy covered with a fried egg on top. It was a nice dish.
The food overall was very nice and authentic.
Cost: Our meal for 5 costed us 10,250INR which turns out to be 2000 per person for the experience and quality of food and service was ok as per me. This amount also included service charge and cost for alcohol 2 big bottles of beer and one small whiskey.
Overall a good place to experience Japanese food. Do make reservations if you want to get the cabin sitting which elevates the dining experience.
Love the food! Try the special cocktails, especially liked "Mary went to Japan" - Japanese twist of the "Bloody Mary"- spicy and delicious . Also try "land of the rising sun" .
Saki Maki Sushi was delicious . California Roll is also a favorite .
Didn't quite like the egg roll as it was bland . Otherwise super happy with the food . Ambience is good too. Will recommend this place for anyone wanting authentic Japanese.
23.12 The Korean menu has increased. They also sell soju, but it costs 1,800Rs, making it difficult to drink. I recommend ice cream for dessert.
Japanese restaurants. There is Jambong which is spicy Korean noodle.
Its Mineral water come from Butan.

Kofuku in New Delhi is a hidden gem of authentic Japanese cuisine.
The restaurant's ambiance takes you straight to Japan, with its traditional décor and soothing atmosphere.
The dishes are a true delight, with flavors that transport you to the streets of Tokyo.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer personal recommendations.
Don't miss the heavenly Pork Katsu Curry with rice and the melt-in-your-mouth Tuna Nigiri.
Kofuku is a must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable Japanese dining experience.
Great Ambience! A little expensive but its AUTHENTIC Japanese. Whatever dishes you see and drool over in Animes are all available here. The quantity is really great. Make sure to order according to your appetite. The quality of the food and the service was really good. A must try.
Enjoyed their vegetarian super crunchy sushi and mango mochi ice cream. Soup wasn’t so good. Japanese Curry with rice was also average. Overall good experience with Japanese seating.
For non-vegetarians, oh my god sushi was good. Shrimp tempura was also great.
Visited Kofuku for dinner and quite liked the izakaya-style low seating and private booths.
The menu is extensive and includes popular Japanese dishes. Ordered Tori Karaage, Salmon Nigri, Kappa Maki, and Miso Ramen.
The service was friendly and fast during my visit here. You can call the staff via the ringer the place at the table.
The Maki and Nigiri were quite nice. The salmon tasted good and the cucumbers were crunchy in the Maki.
The Karaage was juicy and served piping hot. It was deep fried well however I’d have preferred a crunchier shell.
The Miso Ramen was quite flavourful and the noodles had a good bite. The broth has a lot of flavour. The chashu was a bit off for me but nonetheless the bowl was good and satisfying. I added the spicy sauce they serve with it and it added a nice punch to the ramen.
Overall a good experience and not too expensive for two people!
Authentic Japanese Experience🍱
Tried out quite a few new things in the menu:
🍣Spicy Salmon Roll Sushi
🍣Spicy Tuna Sushi
Edamame
Meat Toban Yaki
*Not a fan of Edamame but totally loved the other things💯 Everything was so good and fresh!! Service was great too💯
There are both Chair as well as Floor seating available.
It is located on the ground floor of Ansal Plaza Mall & should be easy to locate.
The food was amazing. And the service was very polite and welcoming, the ambience and sitting arrangement were insane as well. I thought the cabin with mats would be a problem because I can't sit crossed legs for long but they have sufficient space below ground,it's just like a chair. My experience was amazing.
Trust me on this, Kofuku is one of the best Asian restaurants in NCR Delhi, From their food, services to the cleanliness everything is just perfect.
We ate some Japanese dishes as well as Korean and the food was do delicious. Recommend it. 9.4/10
