Chidambaram's New Madras Hotel Restaurant - New Delhi - Photo album

Overall, the food was good. They served with rasam in starting and then the order. Service was fast. Clean however congested. Also, if they can separate the boundary of public toilet as people cross from their courtyard. It appeared unhygienic to me as a person was preparing food boxes and few minu
After years of wanting to visit here, we finally made it on a rainy morning. Ordered a mix snacks thali, which had an uttapam, masala idli, vada, sambhar, rasam, and halwa. Everything on the plate was super delicious, the uttapam being the star. Pricing is reasonable, and service is super quick. I t
Best South Indian food in town. Have been visiting this place regularly. Must try Thattu idli, Vada, kesari and Filter Coffee.
Really love this place. Almost 30 yr old. Serves authentic South Indian. Small place but always crowded because of its rich taste. They serve complimentary rasam when you reach and unlimited sambhar and chutneys.
The place exudes an old-world charm, seemingly frozen in the ambiance of the 90s. Its collection of captivating wall clocks adds to the intrigue. The dosa and uttapam were delightful, and the unique beetroot chutney stood out. All in all, it offers a pleasant experience
Was here on Friday afternoon. Was busy and had to wait for 10 mins before we could get a table. Small space but very popular. Welcome drink Rasam was great. Good variety of chutneys. Nasal dosa was great. Special Thali was ok and found too many dishes in the plate so recommended to share the plate.
Cosy, homely, warm and chit-chatty place. One may enjoy their time smoothly but it stays a little crowded mostly as well. For this, I must compliment the staff for patiently and softly managing the crowd within (but one should expect waiting, specially at the weekends) This restaurant is in Khanna
It’s a nice small cozy restaurant serving good South Indian cuisine. The food and service was good. You may have to wait for a table
A really good place if you're fond of quality South Indian food. Delicious preparation. I always make it a point to eat here when I'm in the vicinity and looking for a quick bite. The seating area is not very spacious or fancy, but the food is excellent and the service warm. I would rate it highly a
DO NOT MISS the Chef’s Special Rava Dosa. It comes with a papadam, dahi chaat, rasam and buttermilk. We also tried the Masala Dosa. For the first time, every little detail was perfect including the chutnis. Will surely visit much more often. Great taste!!! The service was also quick.
A cosy, authentic and pocket friendly place in the posh locality of South Delhi. This restaurant is old and overwhelmed by guests as they find it very hard to accomodate them. **They have very small place for dining, so expect waiting in the weekends. ** The beetroot chutney is something delicious a

One of the best South Indian Restaurants in Lodi Road and Delhi. Must try them. Good food, nice taste, great sitting and environment, good behavior staff. Must try their Butter Masala Dosa and the new Malabar Paratha. Butter Plain Dosa is also good. Filter coffee. Also, you will get a complimentary
I enjoyed having genuinely prepared South India delicacies. Service is prompt. For real foodie, it is difficult to make a choice on what to miss.
While we have a confusion between Chinese and Italian cuisine, we finally found the mid way and settled for our all time favourite @chidambarams authentic South Indian for Lunch 😍 We were offered with the Best hot spicy Rasam which is usually served as side of all the South Indian dishes.... Ofclu
