Different types of Dumplings....
OKO is a very nice pan Asian restaurant of The Lalit New Delhi. Food is extremely good. The ambience is nice. Service is also very good. We ordered Chinese food. Food really delicious. Service is excellent. Staff is courteous and helpful. Atmosphere is really nice.
If you want to have some fine Sushis and Dimsums then Oko is the place for you.
Their Salmon baked sushi and prawn har gao dimsums are mind blowing.
The ambiance is totally grooving as they have come up with a bar and dj setup so music with food made my meal pretty good.
In mocktails the cool breeze is the one to go for!
We finally made it to OKO last week.
I have had OKO food in Both Chandigarh and Bangalore before. Hence the expectations were huge.
What we loved:
The view of Delhi city from 28th floor of Lalit Hotel is awesome.
The ambience where Bar and Teppanyaki section is warm and welcoming. I am curious to know how it's like over lunch as one could probably see more of Delhi in the day light.
Who went: 3 of us.
What did we order:
Crystal Dimsums: Loved them. They don't come as a measly portion of 4 (like most 5 stars do), They come as 6 pieces in 1 dish. Sufficient enough for 1 person or easily shareable bw 2-3 people.
Taste wise this was bang on.
Chilli Edamame: Good appetiser that can be shared.
Veg Som Tam Salad: Lovely dish. Once again the quantity is very good. This was very fresh and the sauce was just too delicious.
Veg Soba Noodles: Star on our table. I seriously could have eaten 1 more portion of this. This is simple comfort food made well. Kudos to the chef.
Veg sushi: This was ok. Could be better.
In Desserts, our hostess requested we try Coconut Caramel Custard: 2nd Star on the table. We polished it off. Not too sweet, not too heavy. I will order this again without thinking.
My friends had ordered various prawn and salmon dishes. They loved most of them.
Oko serves pretty much everything: Thai, Japanese, Chinese, teppanyaki, Sushi etc.. Perfect for groups I say.
Service is top notch but then you don't expect anything less from Lalit. The hostess knew every dish and every ingredient that goes in it.
I love it when they know what they are serving.
Price wise: At par with other star properties.
On a different note: Amazing to see Gender Neutral Washrooms. This is a game changer for hospitality. Sad to see that no one other than lalit is doing this.
I cannot wait to come back. have been told their brunches are even better.
A baker and a cake artist by day I moonlight as food-digger & experimental ‘bawarchi ‘by night. Enclosed here are snippets of this exhilarating travel & food voyage entwined with little smidgens of art, lifestyle and everything else in between that captures my fancy. Friday, 6 September 2019
Not often are you wowed by view, decor, food and service of a restaurant, all at once. OKO at Lalit has cracked the code !! Perched on the 28th floor of The Lalit, the 94 cover restaurant offers stunning 360 degree views of Delhi. If its a clear day, you can easily identify Jama Masjid, Red fort, India gate and loads of other important landmarks across Delhi from the huge windows around the place. The decor of is classy yet not overwhelming. A lot of care has been taken to ensure standard colours and theme across all the 5 OKO restaurants in India. The pan asian restaurant offers delicacies from Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam and Korea but on this visit I tried the exclusive Songkran (Thai New Year) menu curated by Chef Suriya.
We started with Tofu satay served with peanut sauce and “Kai Makharm” which essentially is grilled chicken topped with tamarind sauce. Am not generally a big tofu fan but absolutely loved the chicken which was really nicely done and the tangy tamarind sauce ensured an explosion of refreshing flavours with every bite. The crispy lotus stem with roasted chilli paste was brilliant as well. All these starters were complimented by two exceptional salads. The “Yam Mamoung” which is the raw mango salad with lemon chilli sauce and the “Yam sam O”, the pomelo salad which was my favourite bit of the afternoon. This was followed by a very hearty and soulful bowl of Khowsuey. While a lot of you might associate the noodle curry soup with Burma but its equally popular in Thailand and Laos. The Burmese Khowsuey is thicker but the Thai version is slightly more runny and slightly more robust because of the use of Thai herbs and spices, says Chef Suriya.
For the mains we tried the “Phad Thai”, some stir fried prawns with curry powder, the “Kai phad khing” which is chicken with ginger, mushroom, baby corn and onion along with some jasmine rice. Loved the diverse flavours and textures. Some very strong and aromatic herbs and spices are used in these preparations but we need to take our hats off to chef for the balance in each and every dish. We ended the meal with an almost perfect dessert of sweet sticky rice with mango and at the same time I made silent promises to myself to revisit OKO soon and try the other Asian delicacies on offer. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. The efficiency service orientation of the team would leave you spell bound and keep you coming back for more.
If you are looking for quintessential dining experience then step into this PAN Asian restaurant, OKO where both classic and modern dishes with consummate flair can be enjoyed. Situated on the 28th Floor of the The Lalit Hotel it is the highest PAN Asian restaurant of the city where you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking views of Delhi’s most prime locations. Under the leadership of Thai Masterchef Surya with his great culinary experience you can witness the live cocktail bar alongwith live dramatic preparations on grills, teppanyaki, woks, with an exclusive sushi bar.

I tried mango sushi roll, mushroom baos, nachos with chinese sauce. All are just amazing and mouthwatering dishes.
Quality of food and service was also good.

Recently visited OKO to experience their kittyko menu. The menu basically contains list of their famous dishes and drinks including fish, prawns chicken (though options are less for the same, options for chicken needs to be added) and many more vegetarian options. The food was tasty, Sushi is I must admit is a must try option.
Let me start telling by saying , you can't have anything negative as it is Lalit. They keep up with their name. From the quality to taste everything is up to the mark. The authenticity of the place was as the name says pan Asia. Varieties in cuisine from sushi, to nachos, to satte , to fish. Everything has the different taste from what other restaurants do not serve. The ambience was another biggest advantage of this place. Right at the top of 28th floor, highest in Delhi NCR where you get the complete view of CP and beyond. If you get the seat close to window you have your money spent well.
Now coming to food and drinks
So we started with cocktails. I ordered was LIIT. Perfect in taste and spirits. Next thing we had in our plate was satte, well marrinated and sticked served with peanut sauce. Then we had prawns, sauted in vegetables and little sweet as it is pan Asia. Thirdly we had fish again little similar to prawns sauted in vegetables only different in taste. Then we had sausages to a bone again a new dish I have tried, lastly , we had chicken bao which was different and again another authentic pan Asia.
Place to be at with your family, frds to get brilliant view with some authentic food to serve on your plate.
A friend suggested this place and after hearing a lot I made a visit with my Gang. The main USP of this place is, it's located in the heart of Delhi CP and that too on the 28th floor which highest in Delhi.
The place has a nice warm vibes when you enter and staff was courteous to greet you. The view from the 28th floor was a different experience and with ambience which has all the basic correct keep upto the name "The Lalit"
Let's talk about the Food now:-
We started with Jasmine tea which was complimentary, it has such a soothing flavor which definitely a good way to start any meal.
Chicken Satay: I am used to eating all desi type of chicken satay in Delhi but this was something different, it was chicken on the skewer and dipped in egg, company with freshly made peanut sauce. It was tender and flavorful. (MUST HAVE)
WOK Fried Prawns: Again the prawns were so juicy and fresh that It made us order twice.
Salmon Sushi: I my latest crush on Sushi became more serious with Salmon Sushi, the Salmon was so soft and succulent, loved the overall Texture.
They also have amazing cocktails starting from their own Flamy Lalit spcl. signature cocktail and LIIT is must have here.
Truly a Pan Asian Destination, try it for food and music with the ONLY view possible in Delhi (from 28th FLOOR).
I visited there for the last week. First of all the view was mesmerizing. And food was authentic, specifically the hot n sour soup was mouth watering and noodles was yum. I will love to visit again n again.
Wonderful hospitality. Good food. Nice ambiance. Loved it all way as they are serving good Japanese and Pan asian food. Would say a must visit.

Awesome collection of sushi, sashimi, sake and what not! What else could be better than experience fine dining at 26th floor with amazing view and food. Lovely hospitality and service! If you’re a Japanese food lover just visit the place once.
One of high rise restaurants in Delhi with spectacular view of the city below. Prawn in xo sauce is a must try here. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!
Came here to indulge in heavenly Thai cuisine and was sure as hell not disappointed! Let's begin with starters: Kai yang(their juicy barbecued chicken) and Phae thod phad nam phrik phao (lovely crispy lamb), cocktails, exotic prawn phad thai. And not forgetting other beautiful options - Japanese and Chinese cuisine. I'm a Miso soup devotee by the way. Finishing it off with the light coconut caramel custard (chef's special). Satisfaction indeed.
Its a fine dining restaurant with an edge.
Its 360 degree city view is enthralling for. Both tourists and Delhites.
The all women team is well.Trained
The cocktails are different than usual with a thai cocktail Being my favourite
The sushi and sake on menu makes it an authentic pan Asian place to enjoy best Japanese.
Visited Oko yesterday to try out their special Chinese New Year menu where they were showcasing some excellent variety of Sushi, Sashimi, Dimsums paired with some Asian flavoured cocktails, Sangria, sake and more.
It was indeed one of my best experiences, I've never seen any place in India that has this amazing variety of Sushi. Each and every item we ordered was cooked and served with perfection.
Oko, a Pan Asian restaurant that serves mainly Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisine, is totally managed by an all women crew who run the show from service to bartending and everything else, they even have a cross gender hostess who is trained at the hotel itself upto 5 Star standards.
We also happened to interact with their Corporate sommelier Charles from France, who guided us on the Sushi, Sake and Wine pairings and also met their Chef Suriya from Thailand who also took great care of everything.
Overall, it's undoubtedly an amazing place to enjoy some authentic Pan Asian food with the finest variety of Wine and cocktails sitting on the 28th floor of Lalit hotel and enjoying a 360° view of Delhi.
Located on the 28th floor of The Lalit, Barakhamba Road - OKO offers one of the most breathtaking view of Delhi NCR. The place is a fine dining heaven for Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisine lovers. The ambiance is really sophisticated and both the food and bar menu are quite elaborate. Food menu ranges from soup to appetisers, sushi, salad, sea food, main course and desserts.
Out of a number of items tried, my recommended dishes are :-
1. Miso soup
2. Spicy edamame
3. Crunchy yasai roll
4. Chef's special teppanyaki assorted mushrooms
5. Yaki soba noodles
6. Spicy silken tofu
7. Date rolls
In a nutshell, OKO deserves nothing less than 5/5 rating for its excellent view, ambiance, food and hospitality.
Follow my food journey on Instagram- Foodie_Vakil.
Absolutley worth the price of a meal .Its elegant , and perfect service and wine. Pan asian food one can order chinese as well as shushi , Korean and Thai . I loved the sangria and the chinese which went with it . the pumpkin fritters(papar) and veg soup was excellent.

Aust attend value for taste quality and money. Up to 12th Feb.
So enjoy the live month with OKO.
Wish I could give this restaurant 7 stars!
The view from the 28th floor was fabulous even when I went for dinner. The décor was so tasteful yet traditional and the lighting was just right making everything seem surreal.
The Thai Chéf Mr Suriya Phusirimongkhonchai was simply an angel, he explained all the dishes to us and understood what we wanted and that we didn’t like too much spice in the food but just enough to get the flavours out.
Everything he made simply blew my mind even though I’ve had items such as Pad Thai before, he’s very particular about his ingredients and doesn’t compromise on them at all.
The Snapper je made for us was so crispy yet juicy but not oily, I’ve never had a friend fish like that in my life.
The Jasmine Tea poured out made everything taste just right.
I can go on and on about the various items he made for us including a Pad Thai encased in scrambled eggs but the highlight for me would be the Caramel Custard made with Jagerry and Coconut Milk.
I’ve never tasted something like this in my life and it was so different and unique that I swallowed down a whole custard all by myself.
Would want to come back here again and again to celebrate Thai food with Suriya and the exceptional staff of OKO.
Perched at the 28th Floor of The Lalit, is the hottest new Asian place. At OKO, they have created a very inclusive environment. Women dominated staff, members from the LGBTQI community, and differently abled. OKO also gives you a stunning view of the city. Lutyen’s Delhi on one side and Connaught Place on the other. And the best part, also from their loos.

New Delhi
On an occassion that is celebratory and brings love to age 38 ( parents anniversary )
We decided to indulge in Pan Asian love and beautiful occassion. The interiors are a walk in an upscale China Town speaking to you about the amalgamation of cultures and a good vibe in fiery tones.
So the menu is partitioned into every region Tepenyaki, Japanese ,Thai & Chinese.
We experienced great hospitality with the staff exceeding expectations with the service and attention to the finer needs.
As appetizing were our bellies so were our appetizers . It was an anniversary celebrated over 3 appetizers matching the decades I would say! We requested to bring one dish at a time. As we ordered 3 appetizers and one main had to cancel the main because we were satiated in the 3 beautiful dishes
Our order
Sliced Lamb in Chilli Soy Sauce
From the Chinese section of the menu
Thin slices of lamb well seasoned giving an aroma of the subtle chillies combined well with red onions. A portion size that was shareable the meat was medium done and still had a great bite to it.
Shredded chicken in Teriyaki sauce
From the Tepenyaki menu
The long slices of chicken chunky enough and the skill worked around the grill was evident in the juicy chicken pieces
Old school Gyoza Prawns
From the Japanese menu
Talk about the size and number of pieces 6 does the trick. The prawn filling , now such a flavour was reminiscent of Singapore.
Dragon Ball Tea
Dragon Ball flower in a Delhi restaurant , I forgot the wine and got them to brew this fine flower. The full grown bud dehydrated to perfection opens itself to give a flavour that is sweet and refreshing.
Complimentary Caramel Custard with almond
A slice each compliments from the versatile chef . The sweetness of the caramel custard with slices of almonds that are melting in our mouth with a perfectly set custard.

Perched on the 28th floor of the luxury hotel with magnificent jaw-dropping 360- degree views of the Capital including Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, Birla Mandir, Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Bahai Temple, Connaught Place… OKO, The Lalit New Delhi has scores of loyal diners… try going there without reservations and I'm sure you'll wait awhile. The Pan Asian restaurant boasts of an eclectic selection of dishes spanning Japanese, Korean, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese, meeting just about everyone's preference. Of late, I had been hearing great reviews about the hotel chain stringently following 'zero-wastage' and 'we serve what we grow' nutritional philosophy that emphasises spiritual and physical health, so I was really looking forward to a meal. What's more, it's the only restaurant that employs transgender and ladies-only service workforce in sync with the brand's all-inclusive policy.
When my friend and I arrived, we were taken to our table — with a view spanning Connaught Place and way way beyond — and Chef Tamang came over to greet us with a digital menu. After much deliberation, luncheon began with 'Buta Tamanegi'. The teppanayaki pork skewer was melt- in- the- mouth sumptuous and set the bar high. Of course, the team delivered. Up next was 'Prawns In Black Pepper Sauce' and I cannot use the word fresh and flavourful enough!! This was followed with a basket of 'Pork Five Spice Oriental Herbs Dumplings' — the spicy meaty dumplings, with red pepper and cilantro, was spot on. The highlight of our meal, though, was SushiRi — a part of a menu 'Flights Of Japan' with carefully choreographed pairing of wine and sake with sushi! We chose scallop, salmon and yellow tail and I can only describe it as "transported to culinary heaven" sushi, each chased with its shot of wine or sake which heightened flavour — the result of all pairings tried and tested for about six months!!
A few moments later, our entrée — I call it the "coup de grace" — arrived. The team has 'Miso Marinated Black Cod' down to a science; chef explained that the cod is cured in traditional Japanese style, first in a bed of salt and then under a muslin cloth dripping with miso, for a few days. If you like seafood, this off-the-hook fresh, flaked fish marinated in miso, is to die for. Words fail me to describe its flavour and texture. The second entrée — Prawn Phad Thai — was visually appealing. The Siamese style flat noodles covered prawns peppered with crushed red chilli, tamarind, peanuts and lime, and I was in awe as the server delicately unwrapped the noodles and served us with a smile. We were satiated and satisfied, as we took in the magnificent views. Until dessert was served. 'Tum Tim Krob' is one of the specialties so I was looking forward to it. This Thai delicacy i.e. tender coconut cream with crunchy water chestnuts, topped with crushed ice, and served in a coconut, heralded a sweet satisfying end to a sumptuous meal.
Reflecting on the experience, it's easy to see why discerning foodies have a love affair with OKO on the first bite. It's attention to detailing whether it's the flavourful dishes, the efficient service, the sleek interiors or the magnificent views. PS This review would be incomplete if I failed to mention that OKO is more than just a restaurant — it embodies the hoteliers' nutritional philosophies that emphasises zero wastage and both spiritual and physical health. PPS This may sound odd but do visit the washroom — for more jaw-dropping panoramic views of the cityscape!!
brand new kid on the block or I must say on top of the city. Nestled on top floor of the iconic hotel #TheLalit New Delhi. It's the same place where once we had the "Blue Elephant" and then The Grill Room.
Created beautifully, retaining some of the elements from their older restaurants like the 5 Nobles, Fu ,Lu and others... It's a vast expanse of place running almost 4 sides to give a 360 degree view of the capital city.
A nice and cozy little bar with a live sushi counter on one side and on the other side is the live Tepenyaki counter facing the private dining rooms.
Plush interiors decorated with carefully chosen artefacts and lighting. The furniture is classy and comfortable. Granite table tops are bold and big.
The menu is equally grand covering the whole of Asia almost... The Tab version of the menu showcases pictures of most of the dishes from Japan, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea etc. as well as incorporating the Wines and Bar menu nicely.
We started with a Flight of Sashimi paired beautifully with Wine/Sake by none other than the Master of his art Donnadieu Charles ... Wow it was... The Chef treated us with a great selection of Dimsums and Tepenyaki creations. Even the vegetarian selection like the sweet potato, eggplant and the Brocolli was amazingly delicious.
Food Very Good, Service Excellent, Ambience Very Good.
A Great Place to Sit and Enjoy food.
Just sometime they put Chicken in Vegetarian Dishes.
A Must Try Deserts: Tub Tim Krob and Coconut caramel custard
Oko is not just a restaurant- it's a landmark, its a destination, its a place that brings nostalgia for Delhiites. Grill Rook was always one of the best restaurants in one half-with fab views. The other half kept changing its facade including the Blue elephant. Now the whole floor is a single restaurant- a very bold and expensive decision but it makes it unique in Delhi and perhaps most big cities.
The decor as you enter is very plush and chic- very expansive with lots of open spaces. Seating is very comfortable and with excellent views of the city-with all its 360 deg character. The tables are fancy marble top and slightly longer so there is more space on the table.
Menu is extensive-with Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese AND Chinese to boot! The food is of excellent quality-plating is perfect. What is unusual is the special menu of Japanese food with paired wines and sake. I had 'Flight from Delhi to Hiroshima'-which has 5 pieces of Sushi/California Rolls-going, each with different texture-from light to heavy. And paired wisely with 5 wines/sake. 30 mL is complimentary for the platter costing 3295 which is not exactly cheap or for daily ordering but great for special occasions or when you are with someone special or for a special occasion.
Excellent food/wine pairing but veg option is also available as is the one without wines. As in Hong Kong/China, rice is served the last to fill you up if needed. I did feel the need for little something and ordered fried rice and chicken with burnt spices- a delectable dish both for filling me up and satiating the usual desire for Chinese- an excellent dish that.
One can try different cuisines every time sitting on different seating and enjoy the restaurant for a year with different views- go for the view of the old Delhi -its magnificent. Even the toilet has a fab view of the city from the top. Sit back and enjoy till someone knocks a the door because the pot is one of those automatically heated ones with the modern options.
Oko is a fine fine-dining restaurant. An experiential place that will keep on attracting more and more people if they keep the quality high. I feel it is the best of all 5 so far- The Lalit owns the name and this will become the signature restaurant-a fine addition to the city fine dining scene. Obviously, you don't expect it to be cheap. Plan on spending Rs. 4000-5000+ pp for a nice experience with a glass of wine too-but it's well worth it. Jai Ho!

One word - Great food !!
Tried this place after seeing the ratings and undoubtedly it food was complete worth. We limited ourselves to the lite bites only but was worth filling. Totally loved the lip smacking coconut milk dessert.
Special mention on Ms. Sonali, who took the extra care while serving the food.
One of the best places to dine in Delhi. This place is extensively enormous to be at, located on the 28th floor of hotel. Which definitely complements with great views as well as high end dining experience.
I am overwhelmed to be at this place. The food was top notch healthy in terms of nutrients and ingredients.
Keep Trelling❤️
One of the best experiences I ever had special thanks to Vikas for arranging everything even during off hours and making the entire experience perfect.
Great experience, definitely recommend! It’s pricier for india and the meals are on the smaller side, but you get your money’s worth. Meals range from 800-1300 rupee, with pricey goods likes lobster around 1800. Hotel guests get a 10% discount. Overall, 5/5 (and the bathroom is so cool! Heated seats!!!)

Absolutely fantastic! We went there twice, both evenings were great. Try the fried vegetables, they’re an absolute delight! Service is very friendly and helpful, the interior is beautiful and cozy. The food tasted amazing, we tried several appetizers and all of them tasted fresh and very good!
