One of the best and reasonable vegetarian food joints in north Delhi. The food preparation is very clean, tidy and tempting. It provides you multi-cuisine options and lots of variety. One must try there amritsari thali, tandoori platter and Raj kachori. They have lot of sweets and gift packs too.
Such a fine dining experience whichever Bikanervala outlet you visit with a good food ranging menu, hygiene, fast and polite service and fine taste.
Special love is their chhola bhatura.

Bikanerwala is located in front of Connaught place police station on first floor. Being placed in the middle of handloom showrooms, it is quite unique. We ordered chole bhature (must try), Chinese combo and tandoori platter. Well, chole bhature couldn't compete with the one we find at Haldirams but even then, it's light and bearable. Chinese combo included Manchurian and Noodle which tasted fine. The best was tandoori platter which had most of the vegetarian tandoori dishes. You can also have kulhad wali chai outside bikanerwala which is totally not related to this review, just FYI. (;
I have ordered many times from this place, it never disappoints me. I always order a sweet lassi and kesar jalebi. I personally love their jalebi as it is so crispy and hot dipped in kesar, it literally made my day. Packaging of their product is also one of the reason i like it. Cleanliness is well maintained and thier staff was so nice to us. I enjoyed it!

Authentic North Indian food served here. A perfect family restaurant, Bikanervala is one of my favourites. I love their pav bhaji and chhole bhature. The bhaji was not too oily and the pav were also yum. The bhature were fluffy and chhole were just perfect. I had a fantastic experience. Would love to visit here again to try more dishes on their menu.

Bikanervala doesn't need any introduction, because most of the delhites must have visited atleast one of their branches... It's a nice indian cuisine outlet. They serve starters and sweets with some limited main course dishes. I personally like their rasmalai a lot.
This is a nice restaurant for veg lovers especially who love chaats, snacks and sweets. All the items are reasonably priced. The interiors are simple and sitting is average. I tried the deluxe Thali and gajar ka halwa. Both were good especially Thali which was having good portions of veg, rice, dal and breads. Overall a decent experience.
Bikanervala maintains its standard at every outlet. In general, it is best for chaat. South Indian isn't a strong point. This outlet is spacious. Cleanliness standard is good. Overall service is prompt

Sunday is the only day when I get the chance to go for lunch as I have to attend office from Monday to Saturday. So I am very particular about the place that I choose. I went to Connaught Place to meet a friend of mine. It was nearby to both of us and therefore the most suitable place. Sunday is also the day when most of the people go out and Connaught Place becomes hectic. We decided to go somewhere we can eat in peace and Bikanervala was decided.ย
It is one of the most popular restaurant chains all over Delhi which serve only vegetarian food. This was also the reason why I was ok to go there. My experience with Bikanervala has always been good and there were no worries. It is Bang opposite to Hanuman Mandir and there is ample of parking place around so no tension in that department. It is situated in the first floor of Rajiv Gandhi Handicraft Bhavan. Just like any other Bikanervala, this one is also quite spacious.
Coming to food department, I started with Pav Bhaji. I was confused between Pav Bhaji and Chole Bhature but as the latter would have been quite heavy, I decided to go with the former. As I took first bite, the decision turned out to be a wise one. The Pao was quite soft and Bhaji was prepared perfectly. It haf right amount of Butter on top along with Onions garnished. For 120 bucks, it was quite good. If you are a Pav Bhaji Lover, do give it a try.
Then I went with their Winter Carnival menu. They are running a special menu till 6th of January where you will get different dishes such as Muffins, Momos Paneer Tikka Roll, Veg Seekh Kebab, Brownie with Ice Cream etc. I started with Achari Momos. They were a revelation. I had no idea that Bikanervala can come up with a dish like this. It was their own version of Afghani momos. They have two options - Mixed Veg and Paneer. Both of them are a must try. Highly Recommended.
As I was quite impressed with their Achaari Momos, I gave Honey Chilli Momos a try too. I ordered them in both flavours - Mixed Veg and Paneer. both of them equally good and it is quite difficult to choose a winner among them. The best thing about Paneer Momos was that there was no veggies inside. It was purely made of Paneer and nothing else. I want to ask them to add this in the regular menu or extend the date of their Carnival. Everyone should try these momos and I am sure they will come for me. On top, the flavour of Honey Chilli is also really good. Highly Recommended.
I was almost full but still went ahead with one more dish. A Thali was ordered so that I could try different North Indian food. It was fully loaded and came with Dal Makhani, Kadai Paneer, Mix Veg, Rice, Laccha Parantha, Butter Naan, Raita and Rasgulla. It was quite enough for one person. My favourite out of all was Dal Makhani. It tasted nice with Breads as well as Rice. You should also order this when you don't want to have full portions but want to taste different dishes. It was of 290 bucks which is fair.ย
In drinks different Shakes were ordered. Again, I was quite surprised by them. Chocolate Shake was quite thick and the portion was also good given that it was just of 100 bucks. The same can also be said for Strawberry Shake. I liked the overall Shake. But the best one was Cold Coffee with Ice Cream. Coffee was used in good amount and the taste was also Consistent. Highly Recommended. I would also like to point out that the Hot Chocolate isn't as good as the other drinks. There is something wrong with their Chocolate powder.ย
Finally, Desserts were ordered. I turned to the Winter Carnival Menu again. It was time to go with Hot Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream. The Brownie was too good and the Chocolate sauce which they used was also commendable. I loved each and every bite of it. Highly Recommended. The final dish of the afternoon was Kulfi Falooda. I always go with this dessert where ever I spot it. Today was no different. Bikanervala has now become one of my favorite places to eat Kulfi Falooda.ย
Overall, I am quite impressed with this branch of Bikanervala. I came back home pleasantly surprised with the food as well as the courteous service. Different types of Momos are a must try and end your meal with gooey Chocolate Brownie.
This outlet is located a bit off where all the buzz is in CP but that might be a plus as well. There is plenty of parking available in the market complex which is rare to find around Connaught Place. The food is served on table after you bill it and the taste is just about what it is in other Bikaners....no change there. I really enjoyed the summer cooler especially kala khatta. All time favourites include Chhole Bhature and Aalo-Pyaaz Naan with raita and Dalmakhani.

DHOKLA, what can I say it comes with pickled green chillies and they taste so damn amazing. All the flavours, just talking about it is droolworthy.
I just loved it and can eat it anytime. It tastes heavenly, plus is so light on tummy.
It is so soft and spongy and so beautiful. It is a perfect snack for every occasion, birthday, party, get together or whatever.

We tried the idli vada and it was absolutely amazing.
Pav bhaji was good too but the size of buns was really very small compared to what we get at all other places.
The taste or bhaji was amazing and it had a strong flavour.
The kesar lassi is really heavy on the stomach and has fresh "malai" in it.
It doesn't taste too sweet and that's what I loved the most about it.
Coming to the veg thali, it had the dal makhni, mix veg, shahi paneer along with rice roti and a packet of namkeen.

Just in front of Shivaji Stadium metro station on the first floor is this outlet. Regular Bikanervala menu. Spacious and good location yet at time of our visit it was half empty. Their Choley Bhature are good and must be tried. Self service restaurant. The time take to prepare dishes is short. Overall tasty street food served hygienecally.
Similar to Haldiram but if compared, Haldiram has a better quality.
Sitting arrangement is similar but they have table service, which is convenient. You don't have to be in line waiting to pick your order, just sit and they will bring your food.
Chole Bhature was good. Raj Kachodi was just okay. Basically this place is slightly cheaper than Haldiram. Personally i prefer Haldiram.

1. Washroom is in bad condition always.

1.Tandoori Platter: The platter was average in taste. It has few pieces of paneer, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, shimla mirch and small roll of fried potato mixed with veggies. They serve 1 butter Naan with daal makhni(it was good)
2. Hyderabadi chaap with naan: best dish they serve here. The gravy is awesome and chaap was soft.
3. Gulaab jamun was hot and awesome. Malai roll is a must try. Sandwich Mithai was so so.
4. Coffee was also ok ok, will wake you up.
Overall a good experience if you are in cp and have money in your pocket, just go there and enjoy some quality time.

Pretty good place to hangout in CP. Located on outr part of CP and it is less crowded and very good to walk and sit around. Better than Haldiram. Bikanerwala system of ordering is pretty good too. They give you stands with your order no and the food is served on your seat after locating the stand :)

South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese food items are available. It is quite expensive and has air conditioner with decent seatinh arrangements. Choley Bhaturey, Dahi Bhalla Papri Chaat and Onion Kulcha are must try food items. Generally crowded in lunch times. 5 minutes walk from Shivaji Stadium Metro Station and opposite to University of Chicago's Delhi Centre.
