I loved this one more than the Khan market one. Awesome music.. cozy ambience.. and out of the world food!! Plz plz try soya chaap with salsa sauce it's there best preparation. Paneer tikka pizza and veggie pizza were yummy too. Chilli garlic mushrooms are damn yummy and veg pasta in white sauce was delicious.

Have visited this place numerous times and always opted for the roof top. The roof top is so amazing that opting for any other place to sit is out of question. Once I left the place just coz the rooftop was completely full. The food is nice and the overall menu is little bit on a higher side. I liked the place and would give a 4.5 star to it.

Been to this place a couple of times and one thing that i really like is the ambience. The cafe is huge, very spacious. I was lucky enough to get a table on a saturday night and that too rooftop 😀 so I started with chilli paneer and it was amazing😍 i loved it, im a 'spicy food' lover and the chilli paneer was a good start to my evening. Then comes penne arrabiata pasta in red sauce and the quantity was crazy, me n my boyfriend we were literally tired of eating but we just couldn't finish it. We had a paneer pizza also which was decent. The only disappointment was the Oreo shake. It was literally pathetic. Overall a nice place to hangout.
This place has great seating arrangement and I great balcony. The view of Hauz khas village from the balcony is quite pleasant. I had the Mezze platter along with the baked nachos both were very tasty. It was an enjoyable meal with my friends. The service was quite fast. A good place for a date as well as a girls night out. The OTB in sector 29 Gurgaon is also very good.

Came here with my colleagues for a happening night and needless to say that I wasn't disappointed at all. The decor and ambiance were impressive and the crowd was exciting. Had nachos, cheesy poppers, veggie tacos and a Virgin marry (Navratra season was on) :) The dishes were cheesy and indulging.

But a thing you may not really know that this place is also an amazing restaurant!

I visited OTB on Saturday afternoon with my bestie Mahima Bansal and it turn out to be an impeccable experience. We were sitting in the HKV Fort and sorting out some issues😅 then we were searching for a place and we selected OTB and it turned out to be one of the best choice. Basically OTB is set up on 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor (so 4th one is terrace) at that day 2nd and 3rd floor were under renovation and the only option was terrace so we go up there and at that time it was empty but slowly people started coming. We started with 2 Smirnoff vodka shots (superb❤️) and then we ordered Four Cheese Quattro Formaggi Pizza 🍕 (one of the best pizza I ever had). Then we ordered 2 Budweiser beer 🍻 and I liked it as well👯♂️. Then we ordered paneer lababdar with butter naan as my friend is very fond of North Indian food 🥘 though butter naan was soft and tasty but we didn't liked paneer lababdar as it was too oily and its gravy was just tasting like eating raw garlic and onion (so a BIG NO to paneer lababdar). In the end we ordered for 2 chocolate ice cream 🍦 which was normal but yet tasty 😋
Will visit again when the renovation is completed over there.

The outdoor seating of this place is beautiful with a very good view of the Hauz khas Lake. I got to witness sunset here, and it totally was an amazing view.
SERVICE- It was quite slow, I had to remind the waiter that it's been too long and we haven't been served!
FOOD- They don't have the best variety of food.
What I had-
1. Margarita pizza- There isn't any other veg pizza so had to order this one only but it was good.
2. Penne arabiata- The quantity was quite good. Pasta itself was good.
3. Ginger chicken soup with exotic vegetables- It was just a regular soup.
4. Paneer in starters- This was good.
5. Monty choco chip shake- It was very good, with a good amount of balance between mint and chocolate.
6. Chocolate choco chip shake- It was average.
7. Virgin mojito- It was just like any other virgin mojito.
Nice ambience. Lovely view from the roof top. Excellent place to have a good time with friends. Service was quick. Food was a lil let down but overall it was a good experience.

Out Of The Box, Hauz Khas Village is one of the most popular roof top outdoor seating restaurants in South Delhi. Other restaurant service features include lounge, Sheesha (hookah) and a full bar with free WI-Fi. The restaurant serves American, North Indian, European and Chinese cuisines. The staff members are very courteous and food tastes really appetizing. The restaurant is slightly costly and you have to pay around Rs 1,800 for two people and Rs 260+ for a pint of beer.
OTB is one of the oldest and most talked bars and lounge in HKV. As the name suggests, it's a out of the box experience. As the place is huge. They have 3 floors and 2 open space. That's a lot to ask in HKV. The food and hospitality is pretty good. The staff is very kind. The place is good if u r on a romantic date or you want to throw a office party. I was there with my colleague for office party.
In short one of the coolest palace to hang out in HKV.
The printing is ok( as per HKV standards). The he music is good. The DJ is only available on weekends.
All in all a good experience ..
After the hauz khas social, the out of the box cafe is the second best restaurant I liked in hauz khas.

This is a small establishment but good. The seating is cramped and the food is good, the staffs are very friendly and accommodating towards your wants. It can get very crowded and noisy here. This place is classic and just plain good.

New Year's Eve is one such day when all of my friends have a point to meet and enjoy because usually we don't. This time instead of hopping on 31st night, we chose to drive on 1st afternoon. We headed to HKV. From Social to Beer Café, my friends didn't like the restaurants much to have brunch. Finally, we chose to eat at OTB because of soft background songs they played. OTB is one of the premier restaurants of Delhi having branches in different parts of the city. OTB HKV is divided on 3 floors - terrace, 2nd and 3rd floor. Terrace has a big central bar to have drinks - be it hard or soft. With a nice view of Hauz Khas Fort-Lake and over the head sunlight , couples should certainly opt for such tables. 3rd floor is separated through glass over the balcony and inside has sofas with nice lighting. 2nd floor has sofas and djs for party. These 2 floors are connected internally with stairs. So, all in all, the architecture and design is nice. It is all wood and jute ropes. Coming to the food, we ordered Penne Peri Peri White Sauce Pasta and Honey Chilli Potato. Pasta was quite a simple one made with saucage and olives. Honey Chilli Potato was crispy and a mix of salt and chilli with a pinch of honey taste in ir. Even this dish was simple - genuine one with nothing out of the box in it. I certainly felt that OTB really needs to work on the dishes they serve and adding a uniqueness in them which can't be found in any other café. OTB even needs to revise their menu charges looking at the simplicity of the food they have. I would look to give full marks to the hospitality of the team. They gave us 20% discount only because I am a Super Foodie at Zomato. Verdict: One time try.
Nice rooftop cafe with an amazing top view of the lake and deerpark. Interesting food choices and drinks. Bit on the expensive side but that is the story with every place in hkv. If you are looking for a romantic lunch/dinner or just a place to hangout with few friends in hkv, its a good place to be.

Food Review: The portion size is extremely small for almost all dishes. The dishes themselves were pretty good.
Cocktails: I tried 3 cocktails and I had a mixed experience. One of the drink was over powered, one tasted weird and the third drink was extremely good.
Ambiance: Its a very comfortable place with couches and good music.

This is a great place, i love the roof top area with Hukka, food and drinks are slso very good but I find this place over priced as well as i hate to get out by mid night. It is a general problem in Hauz Khas.

Visited on monday resulted in less people in there. Food was upto the mark specially chilli paneer was delicious. Roof top sitting was quite satisfying to me. Absence of dj is one of the turn off. Staff is very cooperative and ambience is also not that bad, i was nt happy to see the couches and the tables but they have a gud space where u can show ur dancing moves. Overall nice place to hangout with ur friends.

I have been here a multiple times now and my experience has always been good. The rooftop is one of the best in HKV in terms of ambience though you don't have much view as compared to Social or Mia Bella. However, this place is big I must tell you. Drinks and food are priced as any other place in HKV. Food is descent. A good place for big gatherings.

Went there at daytime and there were hardly any people around. We sat at their outdoor seating which gave us a good view. They didn't have hookah at that time but the food was average and the staff was polite. Overall experience was okay-ish but maybe one can enjoy more at evenings.
I visited this place on my birthday. Really good service and humble staff. Since they had a ladies night that day, not much expenses were made on drinks. We ordered a lot of starters and each one of them was good.

So, I got the chance to visit this place couple of weeks back. I had booked a table on the terrace beforehand. Their staff is polite and courteous and very responsive.
We settled for beer and cheese nachos. The nachos were superb and didn't get soggy at all. What was mesmerizing was the decor. It simply amazes you. Perfect lighting and seating arrangement.
One suggestion through is to add more 'tables for two' on the rooftop. It was kind of weird for two of us sitting on the table of six.

HKV will spoil you with the kind of choice you get. The other day we ended up being at OTB. I had a horrible experience at OTB khan market long time back post which I never been to any of their outlet. But this place was surprisingly good. Since it was almost full downstairs we went on to the first floor. Seating is casual and comfy. Order a platter with chicken, veggies, myo etc along with a shake n ice tea.
Food was good in fact I alone ate that one platter within sometime. Shake was also good. Ice tea was a tad too sweet but manageable. Staff definitely well trained and hospitable. Best part no loud n flashy music, we were actually able to speak to each other. Over all a good experience.

This place is actually amazing, it is spacious, they have separate floor for dining and separate floor for Dancefloor, the sound systems are great, lighting is not up to the mark, the best thing of this club is they have dinning arrangements on terrace which is really nice because it creates a good ambience, the rates are genuine.
The view is good especially if you are visiting this place at night and if you like sitting outdoors. Pizzas are amazing. The mocktails are nice. The authentic otb chicken burger was not that good.
Pizzas are good. Ambience you will love , except the fact that it is overcrowded most of the times. Serves multi cuisine and you have a wide range of options to fill yourself up. The management is well trained. Overall, recommended.

This has been my favourite place always.
The food, vibe, decor everything is just perfect to spend some good time. The service is good and the staff is friendly too. The food is delicious to say the least.
Food:
1. Pizza- There are some places which can never go wrong in serving a good pizza. This is one of them.
2. OTB spl burger- The burger was juicy lucy and gave a good feeling to my taste buds.
3. Pasta- White sauce pasta is my favourite here.
4. Chilli potato- Such crispy and tasty potatoes this place serves.
Dessert:
Blue berry cheese cake- Not a fan of cheesecakes but somehow liked this cake.
Chocolate shake- It was thick and creamy and had a good flavour of chocolate. Loved this shake a lot.
Can't stop going to this place for some reason.

Thai green curry - Big fan of Thai food,natural green colour, spicy lemon and coconut flavour was good , but tofu was not up to the mark, plan rice with this dish a good meal for 1 person.
Fried rice - rice was perfectly cooked, soya sauces,garlic,chilly and some Vegitable,really authentic taste for Chinese,
Paw Bhaji - A great taste paw Bhaji all Vegitable nicely crushed, and top with flashing butter little spicy and paw was proper baked ,
Brownie - really after eat spicy food and u taste some sweet oh really filing was awesome good choco flavour,

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Matchbox and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish.
The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cafe is beautifully decorated with warm colors and comfortable seating. It's the perfect spot for both a relaxing afternoon alone and a gathering with friends.
The cafe offers more than just fantastic food and drinks. The live music performance during my visit added an extra layer of charm. It created a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. I really enjoyed the performance by Raj there.
The staff was very cooperative. Good food. My cousin had organized a day time party from 12-4 p.m. Good place specially for winter day brunch scene.

Matchbox is also one of my favourites for sports screening and the energy here on match days is amazing. DJ plays awesome tracks and If you are looking for quite conversations, rooftop seating is the best place.
I still found it overpriced...you can still have good option under the same price range. However food I feel was not up-to the mark. Didn't order anything else after getting disappointed by their food. They should really work on their taste and Quality.

Matchbox has neatly laid out comfy floral and leatherette sofas. The food is delicious. The ambience with dim lights is relaxing. One can throw a business theme party here because the decoration and cleanliness is 💯 ensured. They have an open air dining area with live music and a well done up bar as well. The graffiti on the middle floor needs to give more positive vibes. More speakers playing music at moderate volume could add to the chill out mood. Nearest metro station is Hauz Khas.

I am there with my friends for dinner and we really enjoyed it they have very amazing ambience with yummy food and chilled drinks and amazing cocktail.
We ordered hummus and pita and lemon chicken and nachos every thing is amazing we all love it .
Service staff is really good and friendly.
And they are live music also.
You can visit there with your family and friends.
Average Experience at Matchbox Pub and Grub
Visited Matchbox Pub and Grub recently. The ambience is decent, providing a casual setting. However, the food and drinks were somewhat average. While not extraordinary, it offers a standard pub experience. A 3/5 rating for both food and drinks, and a 3/5 for ambience. A fair spot for a casual outing.

The chef made the best food i have ever had (rawat chef) the most friendly person. Our brother Arun is so polite and cool person. The hospitality is great loved it .
The roof top ambience was amazing… it was romantic at the same time electric with the live music. I couldn’t get the name of the singer but he is no less than Atif or anyone… amazing!!! Food was delicious… be it momos or paneer kadai… lip smacking… Keep rocking guys!!
