I visited this place for lunch & it was so crowded. Taste wise I loved everything
I would suggest to try pav bhaji, chhole bhature, rasmalai & rajkachori
My recent dining experience at Haldiram's in Chandni Chowk provided a flavorful journey through delectable Indian cuisine, although accompanied by some service-related challenges. Situated in the heart of Old Delhi, the restaurant offers a gastronomic respite amid the historical bustle of Chandni Chowk.
The culinary offerings at Haldiram's were undoubtedly a highlight. The menu presented a diverse array of mouthwatering Indian dishes, each dish boasting authentic flavors and quality ingredients. From street food favorites to traditional delights, the taste was commendable, showcasing the rich culinary heritage that Haldiram's is renowned for.
However, my visit was marred by service-related issues, particularly with the table order scan system. Technical glitches resulted in a manual purchase process, which disrupted the otherwise smooth flow of service. Despite this hiccup, the staff remained courteous and apologetic, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
The location of Haldiram's in Chandni Chowk is undeniably advantageous. Surrounded by the historical charm of Old Delhi, the restaurant provides a perfect setting for those looking to combine a cultural experience with a delightful meal. The vibrant atmosphere outside adds to the overall ambiance, creating a unique dining environment.
Very crowded place. Self service oriented. Provides food as well as sweets for delivery.
It was overall a good experience here I like cholay bhature in haldiram outlets and hot Gulab jamun and sweets are tasty here specially rabri rasmalai 😋 and a good space for dine in you can found in haldiram outlets and food items are very tasty here
Some serious good quality food at not so expensive but moderate rates and worth the visit
Very nice
Centrally located
Tasty food
This is a large sized Haldiram's outlet in the busy Chandni Chowk area.
The location is easily accessible by road and public transport, one must prefer the latter option though.
Food and preparation is nice and quality has been consistent over the years.
We visited here whenever we were in the area, years ago.
It can be crowded at times and one must wait for their turn to order, hence one can avoid coming here if crowds are to be avoided.
Overall highly recommended.
The QR code based food ordering system is very convenient.
Just scan the code, on your table, select the items and pay online.
Food will be served on the table within minutes.
Very crowded. Need to order using mobile app at the table. Not sure how people without mobile phone would order! Service and quality of food was good.
It is situated within walking distance from Chandni Chowk Sis Ganj Gurudwara.
This Haldiram outlet is the one-stop solution for your cravings. This place maintains hygiene & proper sanitization.
It has a lot of space actually two floors for a seating area so you don't have to wait in queues. But it takes 15-20mins to get the food prepared.
Loved the food, if you want to dine in. :) is very tasty!!!
first of all, you need to pay for the food at the cash counter, if you need to buy 8 items, they will give you separate tokens for each item, you need to go to the respective counter which is mentioned on the token and wait for your order, chaat items are must-try, cleanliness, great taste, and fast order are some of the qualities of haldirams.
less chance of getting a seat easily Because it is available in Chandni Chowk market and one has to wait a lot to go to the washroom here.
The first impression is that the place is big and has a very decent selection of Menu along with ready-to-eat packed offerings. They have adequate seatings for groups and are punctual in their opening and closing time. Very suitable place for early breakfast if you are in the area. Though I felt the ordering and billing were slow. Still nice experience
Haldiram was founded in 1941 by Ganga Bishan Agarwal, fondly known as Haldiram Ji in his household; as a retail sweets and namkeen shop in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
In order to drive expansion, the company's first manufacturing plant was started in Calcutta (now Kolkata). In 1970, a larger manufacturing plant was established in Jaipur. Another manufacturing plant was established in New Delhi, the capital of India, in the early 1990s. In 2003, the company began the process of developing convenience foods to be marketed to consumers. In 2014, Haldiram's was ranked 55th among India's most trusted brands according to the Brand Trust Report; a study conducted by Trust Research Advisory. The company has grown at a tremendous pace over the years and in 2017 it was crowned as the country's largest snack company, surpassing all other domestic and international competitors. Haldiram products are available in more than 80 countries.
