No where can u get the corn cake/pudding and i must say the taste is the same since i first had it as a child, besides the marzipan leaves are now more sugary! Ordered a massive one for my wedding function too! You guys have lived up to the quality over the years.šš¼
The only change is- the bakery has moved to the lobby with a coffee machine and display.. i loved the quaint space you guys had earlier and the warm bakery smell is amiss!!

This is a small bakery counter in Claridges Hotel. I have stayed twice in the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The second time I tried the bakery and ordered two pastries, Dark Chocolte and Tiramisu. Though they were near their closing time they did my billing and the pastries were delivered to my room.
1. Good price for a more than average sized pastry.
2. The taste was utterly delicious. The pastry was so soft and fresh even in the night, shows that it was a fresh batch. And it wasnāt overly sweet.
3. I could taste the chocolate through and through and I simply loved it as I am a chocolate addict. š¤£

Their high tea has 3 sandwiches ( tuna , ham and chicken) in brown and white bread- the bread is at times a little dry , strawberry Concorde , fruit tart , macaroons ,opera pastry ( my favourite ) , crispy sticks and biscuits .

I love their red velvet pastry and after having theirs I canāt eat at any bakery no matter how good it is. The taste they have is just amazing
The corn pudding is always not available , hence I make sure I call up and then go or request them to put it on hold for me and they always do. Itās better you have it freezed , the best dessert for summers.
Itās only during the winters that I visit Claridges for their high tea..The sitting outside in the garden is peaceful specially near the fountain, thatās my favourite place. The weather is also good.

I have an intense sweet tooth and well this bakery is the perfect place to end my cravings. Perfection is the mantra here. A special mention of the Bitter Chocolate cake and The Opera, which are heavenly.

The muffins can be a bit dry but the Tea Cakes are like a warm hug along with your favorite beverage.
The only let down here was the pineapple pastry which lacked punch.

An amazingly lit and relaxed space with a great selection of patisserie items. Love their red velvet, black forest , tiramisu, and pineapple cakes. The vintage vibes go very well with their menu. One of the better bakeries in the capital.

Loved the cake!! After months of research, finalised their bitter chocolate cake for my boyfriend's birthday!! And was praying that everybody like this cake but everybody just loved it and it was really yummy! Definitely recommended! Its one of the signature cakes from claridges "ye old bakery".

My family specifically loves the Corn Pudding Cake of this bakery! The cake is soft and the custard in it is delicious! This review is only limited to this cake as it's the only thing I have tried from here. However, this cake is their speciality and I love it!
Ordered the fruit cake form the bakery which is really delicious. The icing & decoration was fantastic. There was another cake vanilla custard corn š½ shaped. This was an innovative & fresh thing that I have seen. The taste was too good. This is a must try.

They have so much to offer and all of it looks so good that one gets confused as to what to try and what not to try. I had tried a couple of mouse cakes here along with some cup cakes and brownie.Ā

A friend of mine and I are in the habit of visiting the bakeries in the 4-5 star hotels and try a few items after 8PM(because then it is 50% off! Shhhh....!) So our latest stop on this spree was the Ye Old bakery at the Claridges. We tried the Chocolate Mousee pastry because most of the items were already sold out and this looked the most appetising. And we were right. It was rich and sweet and delicious. Although the cake bread could have been better but the mousse was thumbs up good!

The strawberry cake they have is pure bliss. One of my favourites here.
They have corn pudding and cake ,a unique cake one can order. The bread used is fine and not soggy. Strawberry cake has the correct amount of cream,with almonds on the sides-the best they serve.

Since I was 5 years old my mum has been ordering the ever so famous corn pudding from here. The taste has not changed ever since. The bakery has a very pretty and classy interior, with a piano and wooden tables. The staff is very co-operative and polite. However, the service is a bit slow.
I ordered-
1kg corn pudding cake- It was delicious as usual, unlike the normal cakes this was not at all sugary and a treat to the people who are done with chocolate truffles.
Dutch truffle mousse- It was quite big for the size of a pastry. Loved the rich chocolate flavor in it.
Fresh fruit tart- The tarts base was crispy and fine while the fruits were fresh and very tasty.
My favourite bakery, usually I order corn pudding and bitter chocolate cake from them, been having these 2 since my childhood days. The other day when I went to pick up the chocolate cake I had ordered, I saw cupcakes, they must have started them sometime back or probably I went in the afternoon instead of eve so I happened to find them. Anyway they looked mouthwatering n irresistible, their were 3 varieties red velvet, choc n vanilla. I was a little reluctant since I did not know how they would taste, as in some places the cupcakes look amazing but the taste is not that great, so I just took 1 red velvet and chocolate and must admit simply loved them, specially the red velvet, superrr, thankfully they did not go wrong with it, completely worth it. I am definitely craving for more n will soon indulge in the cupcakes !!

Ye old bakery , synonymous with its ever so famous and eponymous , corn pudding cake !! Have been going there since childhood and ordering this since forever.
Credit goes to : chef Mahendra ji , he has been making this special corn pudding cake and bitter chocolate cake ( two of his specialitys ) for past at least 15 years that I have been having it at least . That's why the taste has been consistent and same . His knack of making those corn niblets with custard using piping technique , is mind blowing . Piece of art . ( p.s : see the pictures of corn pudding that I have attatched somewhere down below ). They look so real you want to touch them and poke them ... It's just brings out the child in you , even till now .
Whenever ther s a special occasion or want to surprise someone dear with a something different , this is the cake we always order . Honestly , never tried anything else here in the bakery , mostly works with pre booked orders and serves few cakes , pastries and coffee. So not really much of a hangout place . So can't comment on other food items much . But this time I did try another Black Forest pastry which was quite okay . Nothing great . So all in all , must try the corn pudding cake . That's it !
Though it's a pastry shop since 1955 still the benchmark is still maintain. Had strawberry cup cakes yesterday was mouth watering and so delicious in taste. Good place to spend quality of time.
Small and comfortable corner out here in claridges, sure you would get a good masala tea for sure.....must have red velvet wine pastry....yumz, want to have their signature do have corn pudding, they will make only three in a day if you are lucky you might get a chance to taste it.....
I have been going here since I was a little child. They have the corn pudding which is mind blowing, and no one else makes it. You have have have to try. It's custard and cake, you just can't go wrong with that.
The other thing you must try is the dark chocolate cake. It's basically a block of chocolate. Again, you just can't go wrong. It's a cute little pastry shop that I love to visit. You must try it !
The only way to fall in love with this place is to try there corn pastry !

Had one of the best cake shaped puddings here. Corn pudding cake is one of a kind. The custard pudding combined with a cake base makes it stand out from the regular cakes. Also tried their chocolate truffle which is a classic delight. Loved these cakes.
Decent cold coffee. Not great. Not bad. But decent. Okay to have once in a while but nothing special. Cheap for a five star though. But not something you would go out of your way to taste.

Only ordered n tried 2 cakes from them. Corn pudding cake (pic attached) and their Bitter chocolate cake. Corn pudding cake is probably the best of its kind in Delhi and is highly recommended.

The signature chocolate cake is to die for. I picked up a hamper and carrot cake for Easter to bring to a brunch, my hosts were thrilled and the cake was exceptional. One of the city's oldest bakeries, it lives up to its reputation.

Ye Old bakery is a small place right in the heart of Claridges , I have tried their raspberry-chocolate cake, fresh fruit cake and their famous bitter chocolate cake
Prices are quite reasonable and the taste is to die for!
Though options can be a bit limited at times, especially when you visit later in the evening, the taste always lives up to the expectations. I definitely recommend this place!
I have tried quite a few of their pastries. The black Forrest was one of the exceptional ones and also the chocolate raspberry and the almond nougat. The almond nougat was total bliss. They don't really keep a lot of things in stock. Very limited options. But whatever they do have with them is worth giving a try.

Got their chocolate raspberry cake for my b'day ....... With fluffy creamy chocolate cream. It had very soft base with raspberry jam ..... Though wish thy could work over its appearance- it certainly doesn't look as good as it tastes.

Pastries were realllly good. The coffee, however, was better than any I've had in the city.

Birthday of lil sister started with a cake from Ye Old Bakery.
It was an amazing cake Each and every layer of the cake just melted inside the mouth with liquid chocolate but each layer of the cake it was the heaviest cake i had yet and then eating Chinese in JADE completed the day perfectly.
The cake was delivered inside JADE only so i didnt go in the bakery.
But it's definitely worth it.
