The food served was splendid! The service was a bit slow. Would recommend the Jalapeno & Mozzarella sticks and Kumbh & Singhade ki Galauti in the appetizers.
A tranquil place with European style ambience, dim lights and greyish interiors. The food is a bit heavily priced but the taste makes it worth the price. Same goes for the alcoholic drinks. The staff is also courteous and prompt. One thing which I'll like them to do is ask their waiters to carry on their job instead of staring at the guests all the while they've been sitting there.
I recently gave a treat to my family and relatives here.... Although the restaurant is more on the expensive side..(due to its prime location obviously), I really liked the whole architecture and design of the restaurant.. It is indeed a great fine-dining place to eat with your family. The food was spicy and delicious , the way i like it. But i found the quantity of the food items to be really less. I feel they should definitely do something about it....
All in all, it is a nice place to go especially at night, when the name "Piali- The Curry Bistro" shines beautifully outside the restaurant...

Was one day searching for good place to eat in connaught place. Was roaming around and searching in zomato. We were confused. Finally saw the hoarding of this place. Was stunned to see the interiors. What an ambience. Excellent seating options. Food was magnificent. Variety of drinking options. Felt so content that I took my wife there the next time I visited Delhi. She also enjoyed the experience.
Great place for both fine dinning and fun, Great food at reasonable prices for the quantity they serve. Breads are complimentary with the Curry you order, you can take the bread of your taste. Must visit place.
Good food , nice to see all Indian curries under one roof . The service was nice and ambience too .
Missing was :- bar ( license awaited ) ,finger bowls ( strange ) ,mint / saunf ( a must after meals) ,quarter plates (full plates too small)
Otherwise food is excellent and value for money . We tried Lahori chana with chicken , daal makhni and Thai green curry . Finger licking !! Must visit
This is a good place for young couples or families. I went with my family for dinner. The place is slightly expensive. But they give complementary naan with the curry which feels like a nice gesture. The staff is courteous and warm.

Early to dinner on Saturday night to this restaurant made us get the best seats on offer. The food menu offers the best for dishes in both appetizers & main course sections and variety is too many than you can imagine. So is the story with the bar menu though I was really unlucky not to get any beer.
We tried the khumb & singada galoutis + tangy button mushrooms in veg appetizer along with Piali ke batashe (gol gappe) which were just about good. The galoutis were soft and almost melted in mouth as consumed. In non veg, Mutton pepper fry really stood out in taste & appearance.
For main course, while veg ppl concentrated upon Dal makhni & paneer butter masala accompanied with garlic naan ... I was all into trying the Goan Fish curry along with Jasmine rice. I was informed that rice was not there which was a bit unfortunate and a bit shocking!!! So finally I had to satiate myself in having the curry with naan only which was a bit awkward really. That's very much the reason I m taking off 0.5 points from the total!!! The fish curry was tangy and a bit too acidic though I feel the difference I guess was due to the unavailability of rice!
Time was well spent though with the waiters having proper know how on the food served! Look forward eating again to try some of the new curries and hopefully, with rice!!!
A really good place to go to. Different from the usual options out there. Good liquor collection. Great food. Helpful and polite staff. Totally worth the money.
