A visit to Nehru place market is incomplete without visiting this restaurant. If you visit during lunch time then you'd hardly find seat availability. My usual pick here are the dhoklas or parantha
have been a regular at this outlet for years. pav bhaji and chole bhature has been my fav at this place. also recommend faluda and malpua
Food was worth the money and tasty . Place could have been got better , a lil crowded. But also it has got the best food. Specially different types of dhokla and samosa. They are the best
Delicious food.. must go place for everyone who are working in NEHRU place.. perfect lunch scenes with your friends and colleagues.. supportive and professional staff.. ambience was also good. 💙
Decent serves, good food equally tasty, lots of options for everyone, best part they hv maintained the quality from past many years . It's always decently priced enjoyable food for the entire family
I always visit this restaurant whenever I visit NEHRU place this place has the best food quality and taste you can get at this place . From my experience I like the South Indian food the best and the sweets are also very great and rich in taste
I ordered chole bhature from this for breakfast yesterday. Had 3 plates ordered for 4 of us and it was no surprise that it was totally suffice for all...both quality and quantity was very much impressive...
Nearest metro station to reach there is nehru place and nehru enclave both.
Ordered onion utpam and it came out to be very delicious.
Highly recommended.
If you are looking for sweets and snacks then this place is for you. They have all the famous sweets and snacks. It's a very famous sweet shop at Nehru Place and each and every item is good.
I have tried their Paneer Dhokla Sandwichand just love it. Ambience is good and highly recommending this place for some fun and food.

All the meals are superb and tasty
Not expensive
THis place is a lit especially if you wanna go for delicious #Rasmalai in town. I visit this place most often only to relish rasmalai. Go and satify your tastebuds.
Desi style and desi place. The joy of street food with a seating arrangement. Desi masaledar khana is a must in this part of town and it shows well. Give it a go when you are around.
This is one of the food joints that offers Indian Cuisines mainly street food and sweet savories.
I have been to this place multiple times. What food did I order?
1. Pav Bhaji: 5 Stars
2. Aloo Tikki: 5 stars
Also, do try their Dhokla. They offer four varieties of dhoklas loaded with flavors.
It was a good experience at the hotel. I ordered veg thali it was great food and the quantity was also sufficient for a person. Overall the food was good.
This place is also very popular for snacking lovers.
Specially who loves sweets.. Really like there Rasmalai and Rabri.
Also if you are Chaat lover do try there Sev Puri ,Bharwa Gol Gappe and Pav Bhaji.
Located in busy nehru place market. Always busy n bustling. If u want a quick pocket friendly bite, this is the place. Yummy street food. The sweets are fresh n tasty.
Must give try to the Cheese Grilled Sandwich by Sona Sweets at Epicuria. The serving is really beautiful with Heart shaped Cucumber. Also try their other meals. Every meal by them is unique and value for money...
Nice place great food 🍴🍕🍔, this is very lovely place, nice hosting, quick and very nice preparation of food🍴🍕🍔🍱🍜🍕🍪🍞🍰, we ordered for kulcha that was amazing 💕😍💕😍. Thanks for everything team 👫👫👫.
We will visit again as soon as.
The food quality of this place is really awesome and we can say that a good restaurant is that who serves tasty so we can say that it's great.
Sweet shop in nehruplace, their kulfi faluda is one of the best and must try. The special Paneer uthapam is definitely the one to try. Quality taste, good food. And it delivers too.
Me and my friend were wandering around Nehru Place Market looking for a place to eat and we found this amazing place “Sona Sweets Sri Udipi Restaurant”
It is a nice place with a lot of variety than sweets.
We ordered:
1. Masal Dosa, it was so perfect and tasty. I totally loved the filling. Sambar was quite good but coconut chutney was a bit spicy than usual.
2. Chole Bhature, the platter had creamy Chole, Palak Paneer and Achaar with 2 huge fluffy and soft Bhatures. It was totally amazing.I definitely recommend it.
All the people wandering around Nehru Place for gadgets and stuff, just try this place.
Service- 4/5
Food- 4/5
Ambience- 3/5
While roaming around in Nehru Place...i came across this restaurant...no doubt their food is damn yumm....
We tried Chole Bhature...Masala Dosa n Masala n Paneer Dhokla...
All were damn yummy n tasty..

Happy Fooding ...😊
The food is delicious at nominal rate, the samosa, vegetable samosa, paneer dhokla, masala dhokla, tikki, paw bhaji, dosa everything is so delicious I love the unique taste. Do visit the place guys you will love different flavours under one roof.
Quick and delicious breakfast stop for a Saturday morning.
The butter masala dosa was flaky and scrumptious and the paneer parantha was delish too.
Overall a good experience and would try again
Great streat food with lots of happiness at sonu sweets. After repairing my leptop I'm visit sona sweets. They have different kinds of Indian sweets and snacks. Must be try different kinds of dhokla specially Sandwich dokla. And rasmalai.
Meanu is reasonable and quality and quantity is good.
Value for money , great place to get you food take away as the place is not good for seating, cramped and not so clean, however the food taste good and sweets are very good.
Anything and everything from here I loved it, especially the aloo tikki with chola. We had malpua, sevpuri, veg samosa and gujiya everything was good.
If you are in the Nehru Place Market and in need of refreshments then this is the right place. Here food is relatively cheaper than other restaurants around and it’s well worth it for the taste.
I have been here on several occasions and I love their chaat selection, it’s not expansive but whatever they serve is really good. I have had Raj Kachori, Dahi Bhalla, Papri Chaat, Aloo Tikki Chaat and Pav Bhaji. Although I would recommend against their Lassi and Samosas. It wasn’t good.
Overall value for money.
Well, this is my favourite place for all kinds of food from Dhokla to Pao Bhaji to Rajma Rice. It’s a really old restaurant where my father used to eat when he was younger. Amongst the hustling Nehru Place market, Sona Sweets provide the perfect blend of tasty, healthy and hygienic food. They have a lot of options and I’ve tried almost all the dishes. It’s almost impossible to pick a favourite. They have three branches, two in Nehru Place market and one in Epicuria. All have seating available and ACs except the one on the ground floor but I like it the best. There’s ample of parking available all around Nehru Place. A must visit place.
Sona sweets is one of the best place to visit. It's in Delhi Nehru place. Corporate people in this location mostly preferred this for lunch and snacks.
Mallpuha with rabri is special here.
Sweets are different tadtes from other sweet shop.
Lassi and rabbri is also awesome.
Must visit once👌
Nehru Place is famous for its computer market and services.. area is very much crowded..but when u starve during ur work, u have limited options for break fast and lunch..this sweet shop is good for its breakfast, lunch n sweets
Dosa
Lassi
Thali
Rabri faluda
A bustling outlet in the midst of Nehru Place market that serves up good food at a budget. Had their Raj Kachori and Kesar Rasmalai. The Raj Kachori was good but could have been better. The Rasmalai was something that struck a chord with me. It was the right amount of sweetness and softness.
This place is near my office. I often order from there. The quality of food is good. Sweets are very tasty. Service is good. Sona sweets's chole bhature are delicious.
Very nice place since nehru place is known for offices so they have regular returning customers that's why the hygiene and food is very good and delicious ... Try the sweet lassi , rasmalai , south indian and north indian ... Chats are also very good... but i think if ur a chinese fan u must opt out from this restaurant... Overall nice restaurant with good food and daily can act as a daily driver for some 😁😁
If you're visiting Nehru place and you don't go to this place to eat then sorry, you missed out on something great! This place serves a variety of food items ranging from sweets to mini meals like pao bhaji. What I like about this place is their rasmalai. And i visit this place time and again just for that rasmalai! Im also a rasmalai lover😋
Everytime I go to Nehru Place, I have to eat their Rajma rice. They have the yummiest rajma rice and chaat too.
There is ample seating arrangement but it is always very crowded as they offer good food at affordable rates, so they have kept some tables outside the restaurant where you can stand and eat.
The staff is good and soft-spoken, never had any bad experience in terms of staff or food quality.
A must-try place if you are visiting Nehru Place.
Good food for health. Sweet are wonderful. Staff is good, restaurant have sitting area.must visit restaurant .... Pav bhaji is lovely. Rasgula with ice cream yummie.....
Fast food - 5/5.
Sweets - 5/5. Khoya gulab jamun a must try.
Chola bhatura - 10/5!! Lipsmacking
Service - 5/5. Superfast and organized
Sitting enclosure - 3/5. Small and crowded yet what one would expect from a fast-food joint. They have proper restaurant outlets too.
All in all a good experience. Must go to place.
One of the most iconic fast food joints in delhi .
If u are ever near Nehru Place do try .
The place is always buzzing with crowds all days of the week .
They serve a wide variety of products .
we ordered red sauce pasta , biryani and chaat platter.
pasta was too good . the red sauce was perfect.
biryani lacked spices . could have been better.
the best part was the chaat platter..it had pav bhaji gol gappe aloo chaat and bhalle papdi. each and everything in it was really yum!! it's a must try ;)
Must visit place if you are visiting Nehru place In less than 300 mtrs they have three outlets this one is oldest #
I prefer this one #

Must visit place if you are visiting Nehru Place.
In less than 300mtrs, they have three outlets. This one being the oldest, i prefer this one.
Ralking about the food...Its great and the prices are nominal.
They have six varieties of dhokla.
Chole bhature with palak is a new but tasty combination which you can enjoy with a hefty glass of lassi.
Poha and Curd rice for those, who want to keep it healthy and for your sweet tooth, they have large variety of Indian sweets here.(recommend - Malpua with rabri).
Lunch time and office timings will test your patience as this place does not offer a huge seating area.
Otherwise, this place is a treat.
Whenever you go the nehru place market must try sona sweet. They various variety of sweets, indian food and chaat counters.
I really like their concept to attract local crowd with pocket friendly price...
They need to improve their indian food section taste wise. Because I feel the indian food was bit unbalanced..
Any way I loved their dessert and chaat section.
I really love to have chaats and Indian street food . This place has got good flavours of Indian food . For one who is found of Indian food this place is good for them . One can order here Pav bhaji , Raj kachori and chole bhutrey.
Paneer pakoda ras malai pav bhaji and chowmein evwrythng was yummy
Nd service is so quick
Neat n clean place
Sitting area availble
Sev puri was awsome
Recommend every1 to visit this place
The food is very delicious. There's hardly anything which you order & isn't awesome.
Rajma rice, chhole bhature, paneer paratha, south Indian food & a variety of snacks including types of dhokla are some best things to enjoy.
Mixed type restaurant, both south indian and bada pav, lot's of sweet dishes to try out there. Can also have kulfi faluda mouth watering. Famous for sweet joint.
Good south Indian food means Sona sweet at Nehru place., No substitute of veg utapam and masala dasa in taste and size.
Quick bites aaloo tikki, dhokla, paneer pakora are good.
All sweets specially Ras Malai is awesome.
Sitting place is so crowded , without AC, and self service are unwanted features there but food is good.
It's very rare you find Poha in Delhi as chole bhature is the most famous break fast of delhities. It's very famous and busiest food shop located in the middle of India's biggest computer market competing new India's most favourite food brands Macdonald's and dominos with old Indians snacks like samosa, bread pakoras etc.
Fast service, Clean, hygienic and place with value for money.
You get variety of food here in between the market. But it is little traffic jammed always and not too hygienic .
But you can find street food, sweets, south Indian, North Indian all at one place. And it's a nice option to eat something in between the shopping at Nehru Place.
One of the best places to get sweets and eat in nehru place. Literally witnessed the rise of sona sweets since it was a little shop in Nehru Place. Since then till now they have managed to keep the quality of their food excellent n fresh.
A bit overpriced but its okay if u compare it to the food quality.
SONA Sweets is one of the gem hidden in Nehru Place for awesome food cravings.
BEST AlOO Paraṅṭha I have ever had. These special range of paranthas are above par.
Special Paranthas : 5/5
Amazing breakfast includes : Bhelpuri and Poha which are a must Try !
A nice and famous place located in the nehru place market has good ambience but is always crowded. Their chhole bhature , pav bhaji are delicious. They offer nice cofee too. Sweets are also tasty. Staff is also fast here when we consider the crowd
Love to see this place every time. Delicious chhole Bature and pani puri. We had Rajkachori earlier. This time we ordered Chhole bature and pani puri. All hygienic and no adjustment in taste. Had a great day.
Whenever I am in Nehru Place for some work I never miss out on Sona Sweets the Lassi they serve is probably one of the best I have tasted so far.
I have tried many items here like Kulfi Faluda, Rajma Chawal, Dhokla, Chaat. All these items are just about average but Lassi is definitely one of the best I have ever had anywehre in Delhi.
Though it is self service more or less but special mention to their service it is pretty quick.
Very tasty fast food joint. I always prefer Sona sweets whenever I am in Nehru Place for a quick bite. The place is considerably tidy. Their sweet lassi is a must try item. Dhokla is also very good.
Lots of Varieties in sweets and foods...they serves many varieties of north Indian food, south Indian food and street food also..must try Samosa Aloo Tikki, Pao Bhaji, Chole Bhature, Gol Gappe, Dosa, Dhoklas and there heavy paratha and many more....its is pocket friendly... Lack of space is the only thing here...always to crowded just because of there popularity....
We had deluxe thali, aloo parantha and kulfi faluda.
The food was very tasty. Thali among them was the bestest one.
The place inside the restraunt is bit conjusted.. so many people and no space to walk.
But above all food served was hot and tasty
If you are in Nehru Place Market, then this place is a must visit if you have cravings for some delicious and pocket-friendly street food while exploring some cool gadgets or accessories for your phone/laptop/camera. This place has so many delicious items like Aloo Tikki, Pao Bhaji, Chole Bhature, Gol Gappe, Dosa, Dhoklas to name few and variety of sweets. My STAR ITEM here is their Lassi. 👌. Very few places in Delhi you get such good lassi and trust me this one is Super tasty and just amazing. Just the perfect blend of everything like the way an authentic lassi should be. The only thing which I want in this place is more seating area. Overall I can say that I always have a wonderful experience whenever I visit this place.
Sona Sweets: Quick bite and sweets shop in Nehru Place. This place always remain crowded as it serve amazing snacks and dessert. I have tried couple of dishes: Chhole Bhature and Chhole Chawal.
Both were amazing in taste, loved their chhole ( white peas) spice and preparation wise. Bhature was fluffy and yummy, chawal ( rice) was also great in taste.
Quality of rice used was good.Ambiance is very bad, space is overcrowded and seating area is very small; its very difficult to find the place to sit. Pricing is very decent, portion size is very good, single dish is sufficient for one person.
Rating in numbers are:
Ambiance: 2/5
Food: 5/5
Pricing: 5/5
Service: 4/5
I don't think you've to spend a fortune have a good meal. I also don't think food that's expensive is necessarily good. Sona is hands down one of the best places to have some Indian fast food and desserts. My personal favourite are their paneer parantha, onion uttapam and lassi. The faluda is also yum. The service is pathetic and all.the servers look angry. But you don't need great service in a place like this. Head here for a late brunch on a budget and then go catch a movie. They have an outlet in epicuria as well, but this one is way better.
I'm a regular and I'll be back again soon.
Like and follow for more honest reviews.
A typical case of a traditional age old brand being bitten by the corporatisation bug. Flanky uniforms, a plethora of glitzy billboards, designer chairs, mineral water bottles, me too sizzlers and similar such - shouting loudly in the face. But thankfully the core still remains the same.
Called for a Thali, which was a large platter carrying a paneer dish, a mix veg bowl, a kali daal bowl, a plateful of boiled rice, one piece naan, one piece lachchha paratha, one long gulab jamun, one bowl raita and one bowl salad. Every dish delectable, made just perfect. You dont mind paying the princely price of Rs 196 plus taxes. Especially the gulab jamun. Pure mawa content - a far cry from the synthetic fares doled out in the fancier places of Bombay. Swoonworthy.
The Papri chaat - Rs 80 - on the other hand, was plain speak, just average. Maybe appealing more to the Delhi palates than the outsiders. The Malpua with Rabri - costing Rs 39 - was another stunning affair. The Kesar Malai - Rs 79 for two pieces - again was another great, not so sweet but richly Kesar'ish affair. Its their finesse in the sweets which does the talking. They seem to be super specialists in these and putting the counterfeiters to shame.
I love such places which offer a great value for money, irrespective of the damages. And Sona Sweets comes out smelling like roses in that department. Again and again, many more times.
Sona sweets is very established name in Nehru Place, they have a A.C restaurant as well , so this review is for that,
My order:
1. Dahi ke Kabab- good taste and full plate has 8 piece, great quantity
2. Amritsari kulcha:wow this was great, too big nd comes with dal makhni and chole , great taste
3.Nacho salad: it was good but the cheese was not melted could have been better
4. Saslik sizzler: don't expect much from this , the sauce was pink pasta sauce
Over all good food and value for money Prakhar Singh
Always love their wide range of cuisines from the chaats, to the thalis, to an elaborate section of dairy products and sweets.
Once you manage to secure a seat for yourself in that crammed space you will certainly love every order. Quick and generous serving is their speciality. Very well organised.
I visit this place everyone I happen to be at Nehru Place
This is the one thing i visit nehru place for apart from all the electronics and fabrics. Sona sweets has over the years become synonymous with the place. Offering a variety of south and north Indian delicacies, don't be fooled by it's small area instead look at the crowd that gathers to eat here. Long waiting for the few seats ia imminent so get ready to let your hunger increase ten folds before digging in. Go for their uttapam, paranthas, dhoklas of several kinds, samosa, onion kachori, chole bhature, pakoras, mal pua, kulfi and rabri faluda. Nothing will disappoint. Recently they have opened up an air conditioned seating place in the vicinity but it doesn't hold the same charm as the old outlet which is non-AC, beware of going there in peak summers. Happy burping!
One of those few restaurants where I had eaten as a child ! Visited today after quite long interval tried chole bhature from here, I know Its a South Indian restaurant but I remember explicitly eating Chole Bhature from here when I visited the last time, which was served to me on top of Big banana leaf along with complimentary Shahi Paneer. However things are different now the its much more Delhi like. Bhaturas are are still big and fluffy. Decent in taste.
Siuated in the middle of Asia's biggest digital market, they take the credit for an awesome Rajma-Chawal (Rice), Cutlet, and Pakodas. Their Chutney which has some great ingredients with Onion compliments anything you have there. Make sure you rest your meal with Malpua and Rabri for the best experience.
Visited this place only for have some fun after finished the office time.
I love go to that place for there specially chile bhature and raj bhog.
Nice place to time paas with lots of variety of bite foods.
We ordered chole bhature, samosa and paneer pakoda. The food was delicious. The service was slow but then it was peak hour. The seating area inside is small but there are tables outside. The staff need to be little friendly.
The food was absolutely delicious, we had a variety of food as we were 5-6 college friends. The quantity was sufficient. Raj Kachori was awesome as well as the Tandoori Platter. If looking for a vegetarian options with variety then one can visit here.
Located within the Nehru Place Electronic market premises, this eatery offers a culinary experience worth trying. Despite the crowded atmosphere, the Chole Bhature and Masala Dosa impressed with their delicious flavors. However, the overall hygiene left something to be desired, as I observed a few cockroaches during my visit. The extended wait time, exceeding half an hour, added to the mixed experience. An unusual incident occurred during the masala dosa takeout, where different chutneys were provided for take away and dine-in. Despite these aspects, the food quality remained commendable, and I hope the establishment addresses the hygiene concerns for an improved dining experience.
Excellent food as usual.. keep visiting and shall continue to. Had chole chawal and brought Gokul lassi, badam milk and dhokla too which were equally awesome. Keep up the good work which u guys are maintaining since decades.
Came to Nehru place for some work. Grabbed a bite here. Place is quite famous for its location in the electronic market. Atmosphere was fine. Hygiene is satisfactorily maintained. Moderately is expensive but quantity is filling.
Tried masala dosa and liked it.
Worth a visit.
Seating capacity is very limited.
Love food at Sona sweets. I really liked vegetable uttapam. And chole chawal is also very tasty

If you have come to Nehru Place for a visit and you want to eat something good, there is no better shop than this and you will get a lot of varieties of Lassi and I love the onion kachoris here, if you come here once So you must try it
Ab awesome pure vegetarian place in middle of the nehru place main market. They have a seating place with really tasty food. The ambience is good as well. Loved the noodles and mojito here.
Best and good place & hygienic to have good food. Quality and quantity were as of their prices. South Indian dishes were special here. They had a good menu for South Indian dishes. Punjabi dishes are also available. Snacks like samosa panipuri etc.,
I went nehru place yesterday. And we search sona sweets bcz I was too hungry seeking for food. And i ordered paneer uttpam, it was really really tasty , waiting time is slightly late but sbaar ka fal meetha hota hai. After that i had one rasmali. My stomach was very full after uttpam. It was too hvy and tasty filled with good quality paneer inside. you can't imagine in picture. But its enough to have waterly mouth
Nice food
Tried this as it is a veg restaurant
Rawa masala Dosa was really good and enough if 2 people.want to share
Also tried the rabri lassi ..it was good too
They also serve multiple other food options like bread pakora / dhokla / small mini cakes and mithai too
You can have parantha /choley bhaturey etc
Tried lassi and chhole bhature. The place was pretty crowded.. They have a sitting inside ( no Ac available)
Inside sitting is there and tables for standing and having meal are available.
People who serve are really disinterested. Food is good but people are umm well, maybe frustrated ? Not so warm, well they are working without ac at such high temperatures so can't really comment on their temperament.
Anyways, we ordered
1) lassi- had rabri on top of it.. Around 85-95 Rupees 9/10
2) Chhole bhature - A bit different than the regular ones (120 Rupees) 8.5/10
3) Masala Dosa - loved their coconut chutney 8/10
4) Rabdi falooda with dry fruits - 9/10
Good place in the middle of a electricals market,
Good food but expensive too
Place is very crowded,
I tried chole bhature which is a must try there and my recommendation is Gokul ki lassi this combo is insane.
Self service and a fun place to eat out with friends.
Happy eating..
I think they are the pioneers in Nehru Place market as far as vegetarian food and snacks are çoncerned . They know the pulse of the customers and deal with them very professionally. The owner is a professional guy and knows his job pretty well.
