This is certainly a great place for family dinner/lunch. A dimlit place, the ambience doesn't really look royal, but is still pleasing. One of the best multi cuisine restaurants in Rajouri. Their serve is filling and the food is delicious. Buffet is very Perfectly arranged, delicious and pocket friendly. Recommended!

It was my wedding anniversary and we (me and my wife) decided to throw a party for my close family members, after hearing praises about their food we choose Royal Turban and the restaurant lived upto our expectations The ambience is very nice and cozy and apt for a family get together as there is no loud music playing and we could converse with ease. To start with we ordered some appetisers along with beer and some cocktails. The pick of the day were the non vegetarian starters Tai Chi Chicken (4.5/5) and Murgh Kastoori kebabs (5/5) were excellent. The Murg Malai tikka (3.5/5) and Dahi ke kebabs (4/5) were good too. But the Achari paneer tikka (2.5/5) was certainly avoidable. The beers were served chilled at the perfect temperature and they had happy hours so we got the benefits of BOGO buy one get one free offer. For the Main course we ordered Dal makhani (5/5) which was creamy and delectable the taste and quantity both were superb. Nawabi kofta (3.5/5) was nice but i have certainly had better. The Mutton Rogan Josh(4/5) was delightful with succulent pieces of well cooked mutton. The Royal Murg(5/5) was divine, it was the best dish we had, rich creamy with soft boneless peices of chicken. The Naan (4/5) were soft and enjoyable but the paranthas (4.5/5) were terrific especially the LaL mirch ka parantha (5/5) the right amount of chilies not too less and not too much for the palate. The Mojito's (4/5) were amiable and we'll appreciated. The only thing which was not on the mark was the slow service, but then the good food overshadowed the lapse. While dining out one tends to ask for discounts but at this place they had already assured us of a 10% discount on the overall bill- well it's always a welcome gesture. The good food and the the good ambience were certainly a sure shot winner and I would visit them again for the food for sure

Have visited this restaurant 5-6 times and i have diffrent views fr each time. 1. Food was nice 2. Once it took them almost 1 hour to serve the food. 3. And once i was out of the restaurant in an hours time after eating my dinner with some drinks.

There’s no modesty in the name, and little subtlety in the glitteringly glitzy dining space, but perhaps there doesn’t need to be. Royal Turban is probably the best and the oldest Indian restaurant in the upcoming Rajouri market.Excellent Punjabi cooking is the reason for that, with elaborate spicing, expert grilling and good ingredients all coming into play. Moving on to the food we had the Veg and the Non Veg platter. The Non Veg platter had Crispy Seekh Kebabs with melted cheese inside was sure a delight to eat. Melt in mouth mutton galouti with delectable fish tikkas everything was upto the mark. The best dish on the menu was however the Chili Chicken, soft and juicy chicken tossed with vegetables was absolutely delicious in taste. For main course we went with butter chicken, garlic naan ,mutton, chicken biryani and noodles. The noodles were splendid. Since chinese is my forte I had to order noodles, being a punjabi restaurant the noodles were amazing. Butter Chicken was good too. The breads too were fresh and perfectly made. For desserts had the phirni which was a creamy dessert topped with almonds is a must try. Went there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed, even then the services were commendable. I had a culinary dining experience will definitely be visiting again and trying the other delicacies the place has to offer.
