✨Shahi Tukda a.k.a. Double ka meetha is one of the most popular desserts made during Ramzan. It hails from the streets of Hyderabad! I remember having it during the Ramzan in Puran Dilli and falling in love with it instantly.
✨The texture of the fried bread slices melted well with the creamy sweetness that was loaded with dry fruits and saffron! It is the richness and purity of this dessert that makes it a beautiful one! And so I tried making it at home time and again❤️💯
✨Shahi Tukda is a rich, royal and popular dessert from the Mughlai Cuisine. It is made of ghee fried bread slices that are soaked in rose & cardamom scented sugar syrup which are topped with fragrant, creamy, sweetened, thickened milk (a.k.a rabdi) that is flavored with exotic saffron.🥰

Superb Shahi Tukda. However, the kheer is average. The Shahi Tukda however is a must.
