My craving for wanting to taste Jjajangmyeon made me find this place. Probably the only restaurant in Delhi NCR to be serving the authentic ‘jjajang’. The portions are too big and hence the pricing is so high. The quantity definitely doesn’t disappoint. Gung’s sitting arrangement definitely ensures privacy with traditional decor and artifacts. I ordered - Jjajangmyeon and a ramen stew.
I was expecting the Jjajangmyeon to be spicy and oily but the flavour profile was very mild, earthy and oily with flavor of pork singing through. A pretty heavy dish packed with lots of onions, zucchini, oil and pork. A nice dish according to me.
The ramen stew was a huge pan enough for about 4 people (I wish I hadn’t been that greedy!!) I was told this will be spicy but it was definitely on the sweeter side with a extremely deceiving ‘red’ color! Slightly disappointed by this one.
Tried the plum wine along with our food! Really interestingly served in a jug with tiny shot glasses; more on the sweeter side, it complimented the Jjajang.
Overall a nice authentic korean experience! Cheers!!

Perfect place to eat authentic Korean food. Though the food is a bit pricey, it is still worth because of the taste, food quality and quantity served.
I have been to many Korean restaurants but so far this was the best. The staff were very kind and the food was also amazing. There are certain menus which you can find only at this place.

Took some of family this time to try Korean food and they loved it, the food, and the ambience. We got the Jajanmeon, Jjamppong(recommend this), spicy Korean style chicken(so good !) Along with Soju and Plum Soju.
It is better to reserve seats beforehand, and request for a private cabin if you have a group. The seafood casserole is absolutely amazing, and the seafood tastes very fresh. It took two of us more than an hour to finish the casserole!
Happy to find an authentic place for Korean BBQ. All ingredients properly sourced. Look forward to trying more dishes across their outlets

Love the seating and the food! Has a very nice ambience and the food is great for both quality and quantity! As a korean food lover I wanna experience what's the taste like so I went there along with my bff. It was authentic, the servers were wearing korean traditional dress and looked very attractive😍. My friend had tasted octopus and the look was so yummy so decided to order one unfortunately i wasn't able to swallow as i was scared of it🙈🙈

I went here with my best friend whose crazy about Korean food and she loved it. Seafood casserole with the octopus, oyster, prawns etc. was absolute delicacy. I loved the ambience of the restaurant. It's a lovely little place to eat.
Finally made it to the much talked about Korean food heaven in green park, first off the ambience gives you an authentic sense so it felt welcoming then came the real deal *the food* it started off with a generous spread of korean appetizers which was nice. the sea food casserole was amazing, I'm often apprehensive to have sea food here cause of the fear of how fresh it'll be but then to my surprise the prawns were so fresh and succulent as were the the carbs, squid and octopus , the broth was very nice with hint of being spicy overall, thumps up!! . The barbecue pork belly was a little disappointing cause I was looking forward to a really good melt in the mouth experience, it was good but not like dang!!! The peace soju blended well with the meal, finally they have this fried dumpling which are nothing but like fried momos so maybe skip that. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other menus when the Korean in me kicks in. :)
Been here a number of times and this place has really stood the test of time. Korean food is the best kept secret among South East Asian cuisine. It’s not overly spiced and it hasn’t yet been indianized. Great cuts of meat in the Korean Barbecue and the Bulgogi is great. Top it all off with Cass Beer, one of Delhi’s most unique restaurants. If you’re feeling adventurous do give it a spin.
Favourite place to be when you crave Korean. Actually the one place to think of!! It’s consistent and awesome portion. The service and the staff are helpful. The if you’re craving Korean food this is the place to be cause you will not be disappointed!!
Visited for a lunch with family. The service was prompt, yet relaxed and very accommodative. Food quality and quantity were both appropriate per my expectations of a 5-star restaurant.

Gung is amongst the best when it comes to Traditional Korean delicacies. The restaurant is pretty easy to find, close to Green Park market. The ambience definitely fits the bill. The food is God sent!!! One of the few places where you can sit with a loved one and end up with a food coma. I'm a big kimchi fan and even the rice by itself has an appealing taste. From the jjigae to the jang, everything is appealing and I can't wait to try everything on their menu. It may be a bit pricey but I guess all good things do. The employees are the most polite, soft spoken and give off a familial vibe. I keep looking forward to the next time I go there. Definitely a must go to and an awesome place👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

There is no place finer to eat Korean food than Gung The Palace. It has an incredibly extensive menu and even serves Korean wine, rice beer and soju. With the signature low seating, superior quality meats sizzling over table-top charcoal grills and live karaoke, this restaurant ticks all boxes for the most authentic Korean experience in Delhi.
It was the first Korean restaurant I visited and honestly, the experience was wonderful. Such polite staff and a warm place to have lunch. Their food was yumm, specially their sea food. A must visit !

This was my first experience with Gung. I did have a previous experience with Korean food so I knew what to expect. What I recommend is that anyone who has a palette to taste different things must visit this place. The ambience is amazing and had a soothing environment. We ordered a bibimbap (it is rice with assorted vegies and meat) - this has a very suttle taste and a lot of flavours; and a pork belly barbeque - full of different flavours can be customised while having it. And my personal recommendation is the korean beer.
Visited this place alone yesterday and enjoyed it to the fullest. The private sitting definitely helps you have your time alone, and the staff is incredibly hospitable. They are also open to modifications in the orders. Order wisely, because the food is heavy. My favourite was the Tukkbokki (Rice cake dish), deep fried chicken, and the pork barbeque. Excellent quality of meet and ofcourse soju!

Our gastronomic journey started with famous K-BBQ Pork , grilled in front of you on your table! The sheer delight of having the meat wrapped in lettuce leaf with dips is pure mix feeling big cooked n fresh! It taste absolutely authentic n divine!
Next we had seafood soup! The sheer quantity n types of seafood made me flip!!.
A clear soup with squid,clam,prawn, octopus a sheer heavenly delight.
Our meal was mixed of slight roasted meat n clean soup,which was so filling that it need in reality 3-4 PPL
The accompaniment of dips, lotus stem fry, potato mini bites went absolutely divine as palate cleanser.
The memory of the visit gets even more complimented, with its decor n staff who were ever so enthusiastic to recommend & guide
The only thing to take care is that of the price points, but a superb experience
Loved this place. This is my 1st time eating in Korean cuisine. It was amazing. I want to go again. I never knew the pork belly we ordered comes with side dishes it was so filling. Ordered a Mutton Ribs. And it was literally the best.

This place was on my wishlist for a very long time. Finally went there with a friend who could taste various meats.
The restaurant is spread on two levels. Ground floor houses the private dining room which can accomodate uptp 16 persons at a time and the the first floor has 4-5 tables.
We were greeted by the extremely polite and courteous staff and we chose the tables on the first floor. The place is nice and cosy, reminiscent of someone's own home.
Menu here is predominantly based around beef and pork and very few options in chicken. However, there are plenty offerings in vegetarian also. Upon ordering we were given 6-8 small plates of salad, kimchi and others made from different vegetables and each had a distinct flavour and taste.
We ordered beef steak which was pan seared right on the table by the staff. The quality of the meat was top notch and the steak was very soft and tender. The barbequed pork was also a delight to eat and was infused with sweet and spicy sauce served on a bed of glass noodles. We also ordered a chicken stew which was a disappointment as it contained more potato than chicken and tasted not very good overall.
In all the place is a must go for people looking for a departure from north indian, italian and chinese. It offers a totally different dining experience and flavour profile which was a real winner for me.
Came here for several occasions. The food is well prepared and the portion is good. I love the Sundubu Jjigae, never dissapointed!! The ambience is nice, I can see they are trying to make it look authentic and they are doing a good job.
If I'd notice one thing, the staff talks quite loudly, and some aren't very professional. Our group was probably the first customer at one evening, and the girls were doing makeup even we entered the floor.

Gung is what I remember as the place that got me upto date with eclectic dining options in Delhi/Gurgaon. I had gone out on one of my first dates here with my then better half back in 2011, when it had newly opened. It serves authentic Korean fare to it's expat population as well as Delhi foodies looking to take big food risks! Expensive but the selection of meats, style of preparation and presentation make it all worth it. Plan to be here by 8pm latest and reserve one of the cubicles for a romantic or private group dining experience. They start winding down by 10.30PM so do not visit here for last minute late night plans. Must try dishes are the veg stews, hot pots and free starters (for vegetarians), for authentic meat eaters it's just paradise!

On my first visit I ordered Haemul Jeongol (Seafood Casserol). Right from the start as it was brought to the tablet and the end - the aroma is amazing and I would keep on telling about the difference I felt in what I tasted here and in other places.
The staff is great too and always eager to help (they even suggested me that a medium casserole is enough for two and I should not go for the big one - thanks ;)

For all the people who want to step in the south korea vibe and have the best korean food they always imagined to have... Well this is the right place to be! The ambiance of this place is top notch with the best staff. The food here is exquisite. One has to definitely try out their Kimchi Jjiage (kimchi stew) with rice and Gimbap, also Haemul Jeongol (spicy seafood hot pot). We also had Jajangmyeoun(noodles with jajang sauce) and Bibim Guksu(spicy noodles), both delicious. To have it all with the korean soju (rice wine) just amps it all (had always dreamed of having some and finally I did)! Oh! And also definitely try their summer special dessert, Patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans). It may not look like much and the combination might seem a little off, but I promise it's damn good and ice-cream lovers should definitely try it out. Because I loved it!
The place is situated near yes bank crossing in Green park. I decided to go here for lunch, after looking for good Korean food. I ordered a chicken platter with omelette and rice and a seafood casserole. They give various types of sides as well, which is spicy too. The service is prompt, however it would be a lot helpful if they describe their dishes in the menu. The quantity given is more than enough, we were full to the brim. The casserole is enough for 3-4 ppl, even the medium one, so be careful if you’re ordering that. I would also suggest that they give lunch box and lunch set in the restaurant itself, which for some reason is only take away at the moment. Would like to visit this place again, highly recommended for Korean food lovers.

Don’t know what I expected Korean food to taste like, but this was way better then my imagination. The staff is very helpful and courteous and walks you through he whole experience. The barbecue was one of the best I’ve ever had. Omu-rice + plum soju are a great combo as well.

The food was amazing. So different and such a homely taste. I ordered barbecued pork ,gimbab and kimchi stew. Every single dish was so delicious it's beyond words.
The waitress was kind. She was slightly confused about what I was saying cuz English isn't her first language but she really helped me decide what kimchi dish to try. The owner was such a lovely man and he asked me how I know how to use a chopstick and he tried to engage in bit of conversation which was so sweet.the waitress even told me how to say thank you in Korean . That was just lovely.
Such a cute and relaxing aura I would love be to visit it over and over again. If you wanna try some Korean cuisine this place is the best .

Don’t know if this is authentic Korean (never been there) but they serve exactly the kind of food that I normally like to have - stuff where you can taste the food unmasked by heavy spices. Been to other Korean places too, and these guys stand out...
If India-Korea ties ever go sour, Best is to bring the Presidents and Prime ministers of both the countries to Gung.
The place reflects a real Korean vibe. They make you sit on rugs on the floor and serve food in a modern-cum-traditional way. The music in the background is Korean, and the fragrance of incense covers the ambience inside, with interiors reflecting Korean designs and artefacts.
For our meal, we picked barbecued Tenderloins and were quickly impressed when the barbecue plate was brought and placed on our table, meaning they’ll cook it live and serving fresh.
The food was accompanied with varieties of Korean sides. The experience was memorable and the pockets didn’t hurt much.
Definetely a place for korean cuisine but prices are really high here and still if you are not a lover of authentic korean food than you will might not like food here.

True Korean Cuisine
Tucked nicely in Ashirwad Complex, the interiros are warm, with nice traditional Korean props and designs on the walls. The walls display many newspaper clippings and photographs of celebrities who've visited them till date. You can also book a private room down stairs if you have a private party. Prices are little on higher side but for authenticity one has to pay a little extra
They also serve a variety of Korean Liquors if you are in the mood try out a different concoction. Try the sweet Korean Rice wine...it is different ! You can also have the brands which you are familiar with. Their bar is well stocked.
Food is nice and very authentic. Try the khimchi or 7 salads which are good. Black bean noodle dishes and Korean Dumpling soup with rice cake are quiet tasty. You need to tell them in advance if you need it spicey or it will come to you sweeter. That is one thing you have to keep in mind. Staff are warm and friendly and suggest you what to chose.
Its worth a visit for the different kind of food experience with that local Korean touch. Have a go at it !
Honestly, I have had better Korean food at places up in North campus for much cheaper. Gung is unnecessarily expensive, the dishes were alright, nothing to die for. The main thing I don't think like about the place were the waitresses. When we call them out to ask for something they would start giggling among themselves or be confused which is such a put off to the customers. My first visit to the place was a huge disappointment and this being my second was no different. I feel like the food and quantity of the items were not up to value for it's prices.
If you are looking for authentic Korean cuisine, this is the place to go to. Had a great experience dining in. You might get overwhelmed with the menu, but rest assured the staff is very warm and helping.

As I'm always on the lookout for Korean restaurants, Gung the Palace (Green Park), for years has been the only one that I visit frequently. From the food to the ambience, everything is just perfect (even though it's a bit on the expensive side for an authentic Korean cuisine experience)!
The reason why I visited Gung for the first time was because it's symbol is the same as the 2006's Korean drama "Gung" and I thought it might be a theme based restaurant or something. But it was more than that! I've tried Bulgogi to Bibimbap to Tteokbokki and Soju and sat in the private rooms with a group of friends and family, only to say that I've always had a wonderful time at Gung!
The owner is lovely and very kind to ignore my mistakes while I speak in broken Korean! The restaurant's photo wall displays the pictures of the owner with some really famous people in India and South Korea (all you Goblin or KDrama fans, she's met Gong Yoo!!!). But the best part about her is that she's so lovely to always come talk with us and sometimes treat us to Bingsoo as "service" or "on the house"!
Definitely not for the student-pocket-friendly experience but regardless, I still find myself going back there, being treated well there and recommending this restaurant to Korean food lovers!

Nice and small restaurant ( basically a ground floor house converted into a restaurant). There is no place for parking cars . If you are lucky you may find a place on the narrow road. Lucky for me , I was allowed to park at the entrance, saving me the bother to look for a place to park my car.
The restaurant is nice with Korean ambience. There are 2 small rooms for family dining. You sit on the ground and the tables are about 10" higher than the floor. It must be the traditional way of Korean dining. For a moment you forget you are in India. It being our first time there we were advised to go forSea food casserole. We also ordered Korean noodles along with it and Korean wine.
The Seafood casserole was nice with a burning stove underneath, so the food was cooking while we were eating. It had all different types of sea food like prawns, clams, crabs, baby octopus all with some vegetables in a mild spicy stew. Korean noodles had some green seaweed on top. We found the quantity sufficient for 4 persons. We found the food both interesting and filling. Though a little expensive, it was great having a variety of fresh sea food in delhi which is far from any sea.
Worth every penny of the very large bill. Excellent shoju (the basic serving of 360ml is a LOT for 2 people), succulent barbecue, fresh and unending banchan, and comforting bibimbap. Cute little private dining rooms.
I wasn't a very Big Fan of Korean food till a friend introduced me to this side of my taste buds. I love the fresh, healthy ingredients used without overcooking and spoiling the originality of the ingredients.
Have been to Gung many times in the recent past. If you want a traditional private dining room on the second floor, I advise to always pre book. Of all the things I've tried at Gung, my favourite is Bibimbap, which is basically rice cooked in a clay pot topped with veggies, some kimchee, chicken and a fried egg. Mind you, not too many veg options available. And better practice your chopstick skills.
I also like the local Korean alcohol they serve, especially the Soju and Rice Beer, Sake, etc.
A good place to try some authentic Korean Food with a special someone on a special occasion.

Are you a Korean fan? If you answered yes, then you should must consider visiting this place at least once. This is a small cozy place with authentic Korean food. The interior, staff and sitting areas are also inspired from Korea. Their free staters taste amazing and has beautiful cabins to sit inside. Make sure you order food wisely because the quantity is a lot. If you don't do that, you might end up wasting a lot of time. You also get authentic Korean wine here.
I loved it! Like totally loved it! We ordered gimbap, soju, fried mandu & Doengjang jigae with seafood. It was outstanding! The decor, service, freshness of the seafood, delicious soju and the entire experience is a bang for your buck! Please do visit with friends to enjoy a wholesome meal! If you want to try authentic Korean food then this is the place to be. It is best Korean food experience in Delhi.. The place has sooo good vibes… Traditional korean sitting with great decor…They have compartments for sitting…. Service was quick and staff was friendly… They guided on what to try… Food was yummy… We tried Soju, traditional korean alcohol and it was good.. Quantity and quality of food was good.. Would highly recommend this place if you want to try traditional Korean food..
This is one of the best experience of Korean food in India so far. The place has such a good vibes and a real korea feeling with different compartments and privacy while enjoying delicious foods with friends and family.
