This place is worth your money for a family dine out.One of the old timer restaurants, their food is really good and extravagant.Dal Makhani and mutton ghee roast with appam is a must try. Though they can improvise more on the starters that they have in the menu. Highly recommended.

Ahhaaa, what to say???
It's a recommended place for all food lovers, because they have all kind of varieties. Which is impressive!
Great support stuff, beautiful and peaceful decor to enjoy your food with your loved ones.
Must try - squid, date with swagat, black rose, platter
If you're a buffet lover, then you should try their brunch!
Good quality food and wonderful experience all in all!
Thank you - all the best cheers 🍻
For consistency over years ... go to place for north and South Indian non veg especially seafood. Promphet tandoori dish my favorite. Pepper crab my absolute fav. Love the apams.
Awesome!
You guys have amazing hospitality, Keep it up.
Value for money restaurant 😊😊😊
I would always recommend your restaurant, when it comes to lunch at gk2!
Great food and good service. Been visiting for a few years now. Amazing mutton, appam and fish. Old school setting. Staff is polite. Location is fine. Some of the best South Indian food in town.
As you enter the restaurant, you will be accompanied by a very friendly staff member who will explain each and everything about the restaurant and how the head of this chain started this brand.
At the entrance you can feel the Aroma of fresh spices and food, the menu is very balanced,
Coming to the food that we ordered

Would love to visit this place again....
The place is nice ! Amazing north indian food. The staff is also polite.
A great place to have a peaceful family lunch or dinner.
Dal makhni & mutton rara were really tasty.
Courteous staff, good food, their dal makhani is amazing! The starters could use a little more variety. But except of that the taste and quality is top notch. Their first floor is upgraded with chic sofas and woodwork. But the second one could use more work and a designer's touch, seeing as they are completely booked on most weekends due to their delicious food.
Being around Greater kailash market GK-2, i walked in on a Saturday for lunch at Swagath Restaurant and bar. the staff welcomes you with big smiles ...i sat on the 1st floor overlooking lush green trees..the staff advised me i should try the non-veg seafood which i did ..on seeing the menu we ordered chicken ghee roast ,mutton stew and prawn koliwada along with nice malabar parantha and appam, the food was yummy this place is surely must visit ..will surely go back for the prawns and crabs ...
Just stopped by to have a kulfi with my parents, have to agree hands down there is a level of indianised and welcoming and warm old school service that holds this place together. Was so nice to be there.
Kulfi was very well done and for the place the prices are totally sufficient in that cost.
Shall surely go back for some mains soon.
Cheers.
Food was good and nicely served. Nice ambience and service was also good. We liked honey chili potato and paneer Tikka. Dal makhani in the main course was also tasty
After having some good reviews about this place we decided to go for a family get together. Our hosts have ordered the snacks for us. We tried to go for vegetarian stuff as most of us are preferred vegetarians. We had:
Paneer Tikka... Good flavour.
Honey chilli potatoes.. ok
Hara bhara kebab.. ok
Soya Malai kebab.. ok
Dal Makhni... Was good.
Paneer ... Nice
Palak Kofta... good
Breads were hot and nice.
This place should be on every foodies bucket list. The Gassi and Malabari dishes are amazing. Try these with appam and neer dosa.
Its a place everyone in my family loved. :)
Visited on saturday evening for dinner with my family, place was busy, they requested to wait , after few minuts they gave us table,
People are attentive and very courteous and ready to help you. Prices are slightly on the higher side but you get speciality South Indian coastal cuisine in very few places in Delhi and that kind of squares it off. Over all it is a tasty trip to your taste buds no doubt !
The Greater kailash property is one of the good under Swagath Chain and is renowned for its sumptuous and delicious cuisines of Coastal Karnataka and Kerala in particular. Strategically located in the main shopping Hub of greater Kailash it is a 3 floors with beautiful banquet and spacious restaurant to gorge on delightful and spicy yet tasty food ! They also have a bar attached which makes things interesting in this sit down diner
You can gorge on dishes loaded with traditional Malabar, Chettinad and coastal flavors. Known for its diverse seafood options, Swagath stands out for its Kolivada Prawns, Chicken Stew, Malabar Paratha and a number of other breads and curries. Great place for family dining.
I was skeptical about this place to visit but I thought of visiting this outlet for the first time. Completely a family place and the staff are so polite . The ambience is completely soothing with light music.. I tried Rara chicken over here with garlic naan.. totally mouth watering . It was such a wonderful experience that i have started visiting this place every week. Must visit 😊
the best fish curry I have ever had...their surmai fish curry is amazing with some Malabar paratha and appam...but the rates could be a bit lower as it is highly expensive
While finding a place to have decent North Indian food , we found this place in the hub of m block market. we ordered chicken rara, paneer butter masala , butter chicken and butter naan. It was on an expensive side but food was good. chicken rara was too tasty.... the service was good and on time...Enjoyed the ambience with my friends.. Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends n family...
A fine dining family space spread across different floors.
Decent interiors and ambience . The place is really spacious and The terrace seating is beautiful. The staff is really courteous and humble. The service is quick and upto the mark.
I went there for a lunch buffet small party. I tried a lot of stuff from starters to desserts.
STARTERS - (3.5/5)
They tasted nice. I had some malai chicken tikka, chilli chicken, chilli paneer, veg seekh, chilli veg. Everything was nice
SOUP - i had tomato soup which was average. (2/5)
LUNCH - (3/5)
I tried the chicken malabar and mutton rogan josh and some malabari paranthas. Everything was nice but yes there is a scope of improvement.
DESSERT - (3.5/5) Kulfi faluda was nice
But their hospitality is really nice :)
FANTASTIC is the word which comes to my mind when I think about this restaurant.
Newly renovated with best in class Ambiance.
The food is SUPER FANTASTIC and 100% value for money.
the staff is very courteous and will go an extra mile to create a wonderful customer experience.
Surmai Koliwada (Fish Preparation - South indian style) is s MUST TRY.
Even the North Indian cuisine is super delicious..... not like every other south indian restaurant serving North Indian food. The quality, taste, presentation and service is superb.
Have been there so may time (have lost count) ..... still my favorite place.
Cheers.

Authentic taste and great service, forest mushroom is must for vegetarians. Chicken tikka is must try for non vegetarians. Main course is quite bland, can be better it CHEF tries.
We are in Delhi for twelve weeks, staying nearby. Discovered the restaurant on our first night. Excellent service and food Murgh Lababdar ? Was delicious. Only wanted a small beer but seems there is happy hour most of the time.
We tried the kumbh tandoori for starters which was decent. The sweet corn soup was ordinary . However the highlight was the dal e swagath which was their version of dal makhani. It was true to its name with lots of butter and cream, which made it delicious. The breads were fresh and soft. Very nice meal overall. Service is good and prompt. Ambience is bright and welcoming. Good dining experience overall.
Old-school hospitality at it's best, where someone scrams to call the elevator, seating is spacious and staff is eager to serve you. But again, it's the delicious and most amazing food that takes the crown. Every bite is full of flavor and leaves a lingering taste.
A must visit.
I was en route to home(Faridabad) from South Delhi, along with my family. We had been stuck in a terrible traffic jam for past 2 hours and by the time we reached GK 2 hunger had got the best of us. We used to visit Swagath often about a decade ago and had not been there since. With the coming of Cafe culture in India these restaurants have had a difficult time catching up. That day we decided to visit Swagath to relive that good old charm and devour some delicious North Indian food.
Without wasting a moment, we ordered Manchow Soup, Stuffed Mushroom, Veg Biryani, Dal Makhani and Tandoori Rotis. The Manchow Soup was a bit bland but tasted better after adding some soy sauce and vinegar. The Stuffed Mushroom were a big disappointment. The mushrooms lacked the juiciness and the stuffing had no taste, whatsoever. The Dal was just legendary. It had the same creamy texture and the same richness as it used to have a decade ago. The taste was something I could vouch for and its going to stay on my tongue for a long time. The Dal completely made my day and has become a favourite and I will definitely come back to this place for their Dal and to try other North Indian specialities.
Overall a decent experience. A place which has stood the test of time and worth a visit!

Had amazing lunch at swagath. It is a good dining place to have with family.
Do try there crab, they have amazing crab's .. Also loved there chicken items.
There service is good and it is a clam a good place to have lunch/dinner with family.
Nice, decent food .. i like there yellow daal , rumali roti , paneer dhania adraki n falooda ice cream.. even there chicken biryani is okay.
Swagath is one of the restaurants which serves one of the best Faluda icecream. Dal Makhni and Rumali is what i usually have during my visits.
Good food & good service... Spent an amazing evening with family. Tried the mughlai food.
Must try chicken lababdar and matar keema :)
Keep it up guys ...
i had food @ Swagath Defence Colony several times but in gk2 swagath it was my first experience the food was awesome .we ordered for surmai koliwada and chicken chettinad with Malabar paranthas it was a wonderful experience and a very good fine dining family restaurant. overall service is very fast and overwhelming.good collection of south indian dishes.i will come again with my family as it is nearer to chirag delhi.
Swagath is situated at the very heart of GK2 M Block Market, so it's very easy to locate. The service is quite slow; unlike its counter part in Defence Colony, as it took them a lot of time to prepare and present our meal. We ordered Neer Dosa, Malabari Paratha, Appam, Chettinad Prawn and Malabari Chicken. The Neer Dosa was very good as were the Parathas, the Appam could do with slight improvement. The Prawn Pepper Chettinad was very nicely cooked, however the Malabari Chicken lacked a bit of taste. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and would like to visit again.
Had gone for a family get together. This place is one of our favorite dining destination for years. The food quality is always good, though it is a little over priced. Surprisingly the North Indian food is as delicious as South Indian. The quantity of food served is quite healthy.
Overall if you see, it's quite a good choice to dine, the only thing the decor is somewhat old but food & service will make for it.
One of my favorite place for malabari food...... Specially there mutton malabari and mutton sukka with uppam to die for.... and the veg stew is also amazing...... Good job team Swagath......
A little let down by the restaurant's decor, but the food was amazing, super delicious, with prompt service!
What we ordered: masala papad, yellow daal, kesar malai kofte, garlic naan and salad.
The naan and daal tasted good but the kofte (kesar kofte) with goodness personified, the sauce was rich and creamy, and absolutely heavenly.
I am going to recommend everyone to try this, cuz i am certainly gonna do that.
Food: 4.5/5
Service: 5/5
Economy : 3/5
Food - 4
Service - 4
Ambience - 3.5
After a disappointing meal long time back at the sector 18 Noida outlet, we eventually landed at GK II outlet. I have always been a fan of Swagath and really relish their South Indian curries.
This time we went in for north Indian fare along with a South Indian non veg dish.
1. Chettinad pepper mutton - requested for a boneless version & as always the dish was amazing. The gravy was quite flavorful & had the right spice mix. The mutton was soft, overall a grt dish to order.
2. Paneer makhani - the paneer was soft & gravy was thick bodied with ample flavors.
3. Pindi cholley- spicy white Channa dish if made to perfection is a delite. And was made to perfection.
4. Tadka Dal - well
5. Malabari parantha - crispy, multi - layered parantha with ton loads of fat BUT Tasty is the word!!!
Overall a good experience, has put my faith again on the brand...
Amazing food. Really love thier mutton stew and uppams to die for. And the malabar paranthas are just amazing. Keep up the good work Swagath
Platter Of Flavours - Whenever asked about my preferences for South Indian cuisine, I reply with 'non-vegetarian, you should totally try Swagath'.
I have three staples set for my order sequence here -
Chicken 65 - Those delicious spices blending in perfectly with the tender chicken will make you fall in love with it. Call it a starter or an accompaniment, I would have two plates any day.
Chicken Stew & Appam - The perfection of the stew is nothing short than magical. Personally, it's an 'everyone will love it' dish and damn right the slowly cooked chicken with the subtle hints of spices and coconut makes it worth. I usually order Appam to go along with it as it enhances the taste with every bite.
A definite place to visit with well prepared and delicious food!

I prefer the def col and gurgaon outlet over this one !! The food is here decent and the prawns butter pepper garlic is still very good but overall if I feel like swagath, I shall head to Gurgaon or def col.
Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM
Really liked there service quality and seating option.
We were team of 7. In starters we tried there veg starter , soup - sweat corn and manchow non veg, tandori chicken, shreded chicken all of them were mouth watering. Then in main course we had there some very famous chicken dal makani garlin naan paneer lababdar , mocktails blue lagoon. Everything was just perfct had good time. 🍤🍖🍗🍜🍲🍻🍽🍴
Only thing dissappointed me is initialy they served us cold food
Had tried Swagath in Defence colony already, so have this one a try as well. The food was quite good. Service was quick and efficient. Preparation time wasn't much. Can be tried.
All food was well prepared and service was excellent. Price was reasonable & I will come back for my chicken yum yum soup
Definitely recommend!!
Excellent food, good variety, nice ambience, overall a good place for dinners and small occasions. North Indian food here- highly recommended :)
We went for a lunch and over all staff very accommodating and ambience is nice but the food is too spicy which kills the taste of the whole stuff. Will definitely try again as the staff was really nice.
Do not go for ambiance but for a coastal seafood experience.
If one likes coastal seafood cuisine, then this is the place one should try. With a good variety of seafood dishes along with breads and crêpe from South West coast of India. Neer Dosa - a crêpe made from rice batter along with a Calamari Gassi will be a nice try. Few Malvani specialties are also on the menu.
Even though they offer Indian Chinese & North Indian cuisine, will not recommend for that.
I heard about Swagath from a friend who hosted a party their. My intentions were the same. Going by his reviews, had great expectations from them and Swagath stood on it.
Excellent place to host a party for 30-35 people, max 40(not more). Party hall ambience is perfect for young crowd and pretty decent for elders. Food is delicious with perfect blend of spices and with apt temperature. Not sure about the non-veg food items but for vegetarian food I can bet on them. Staff is very helpful and professional.
Overall good place to have dinner with family and friends.
Good food, great ambience, amazing hospitality. Slightly overpriced but keep up the good work. A good place to dine out with family on a special occasion.
Swagath @ Gk 2 is my preferred place to dine in with family or for drinks. They have 3 floors...one is a bar second is family dining and also a rooftop terrace.
Staff is courteous and make sure you feel comfortable. However the air conditioner makes at one side of the restaurant very cold.
This visit was with my younger brother and we started with alcohol roasted Papad and salad.
Swagath is known for the coastal food which we have had a no of times.
This time we opted for Kundapu Chicken Chicken 88 and Kerala Mutton stew Pander Kari patta
Pander Kari patta was just too good/ Kerala Mutton stew is by far the best I have had and chicken 88 the newest addition in the menu is the most spiciest chicken I have ever had(I love spicy food).
Overall it's a must visit restaurant with friends or family.
Swagath was suggested to me by my cousin sister who is a big foodie, and true to her words we were surprised to discover an array of amazing non-veg south indian cuisine, which is not something that one can easily find on a regular basis. I had tried the defence colony branch first which is much bigger and offers a wider variety of cuisine, thus I was a little sceptical before making my parents and my friend try this branch out, but they proved to be even better. Though the place is comparatively slightly smaller and the decor is not as fancy as that of the def col one but surprisingly the food is considerably better.
A special mention definitely goes to the chicken ghee roast (un-believably amazing in terms of taste and flavour), appam, chicken chettinad, chicken 65. The ambience is that of a typical family restaurant and though initially it may seem slightly higher on the price side, but after you try the food, it'll surely be an absolute value for money.
I heard about swagat through a dear friend and it was being built up inside my head to great expectations with all the flavours and south indian non veg cuisine, which I had never tried ever before.
So we finnaly got to the GK one and i told her that I am not ordering anything and its all on u and we ordered Ghee roast chicken with Appam and it was amazing never had such an experience with something new ive tried and would always come back.
Only one issue as the price is a little on the higher side visits would not be that frequent.
I good place to have a lovely dinner with family as well as your partner.
Totally in love with this place! The Food at Swagath is always excellent, everything on their menu is impeccable. Apparently , The Chef in the house cooks from heart it seems as it just reflects in thier food. Every dish is optimum. Not too hot , not too cold , not too spicy , not overcooked ... It's just perfect. The Staff is also a group of very experienced and professional people.
This Place is famous for its coastal food. I personally love their mutton rogan josh and butter chicken. But I would say once you visit this place .... you will keep coming back to it to try its whole menu :P
Average bar
With good interiors
But the place was empty on friday evening.
Food is delicious.
But they charge a little extra than rest of the restaurants accross the same block.
Overall had a nice experience.
It has been always a wonderful experience visiting this fine dining place with family or friends. If you are a fan of spicy coastal cuisine, do try this restaurant. Loved their Chicken Chettinad, swagath special fish curry with appam and malabari parantha.
Vegetarian lovers can have paneee kari patta which was just sumptuous.
However their fish gassi didn't meet our expectations
Went there for dinner with friends, sometime in December. Place was quite crowded and service was slow. We did not like the flavour of curries as much as we do in some of the other places. Staff was friendly, noise level was high.
A feel good factor place....I used to visit the same in Defence Colony.....food is very good although the ambience is pretty decent with courteous staff and interiors.....this restaurant have wide variety of menu ranging from mouth watering sea food to Chinese to south indian to North Indian and amazing variety of beverages.....Must try are their chicken ghasi with appam and their dal makhni with malabar parantha...in starters their platter is awesome if you are foodie and in chinese, must go for crispy vegetables.....nice place to visit
Swagath is one of the good place for dining in GK. This place has decent interiors with good seating arrangement. Decor is minimal and not flashy. Ambiance is good and staff was courteous. Food was delicious, I love Swagath for it's Chettinaad delicacies and malabar paranthas. Service was decent.
I tried the following items-
1) Cream of tomato soup- soup was thin and it was not creamy as such. Flavor was ok.
2) Tandoori dawat- it was a veg platter with hearty selection of marinated paneer, capsicum, onion, Tandoori aloo, veg seekh and mushrooms. I loved the tandoori aloo and mushroom '
3) Paneer lababdaar- the gravy was rich and creamy . Paneer was soft and tasty. RECOMMENDED
4) Dal hyderabadi- Loved this dal! It was a Hyderabadi preparation -lentils tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves and spices. DO TRY this!
5) Dal makhani- very few places serve some really delicious Dal Makhni. Swagath is one of those places which serves this! Loved the creamy delish texture of dal.
6) Gobi 65- this was a chettinaad speciality. It was spicy and I relished this speciality! If you are a spice lover, then do try the chettinaad delicacies here.
7) Malabar parotta- I was delighted to try this as I love flaky layery breads! I loved to have this delight with curry.
8) Garlic naan- one of the best in Delhi! It was just awesome!
So overall the place is good if you want to have good food experience!
3
The food is amazing! Please come and visit this place. Their chicken is very tender. It's better than any dry chicken other restaurants have to offer. The portions are big enough for 2 people! You may be surprised with the quality of the food.
My first visit to swagath gk2, went with family.
It is located right in the beginning of M block market. Fine dine is on the 3 rd floor. It is a nice restaurant , good space have corners where you can have your own space for family dinners parties etc.
We went for quick snacks on a Saturday evening, the restaurant wasn't that crowded. Its a typical place for family outing, nice and quiet. Coming to food, we ordered typical vegetarian snacks veg kebabs, paneer tikka pudina, paneer tikka ajwain and veg soup. I would say food was good overall. Would love to try out other options as well.
Service was quick and staff is very courteous and active as well. All in all a good option for family dinners.
Loved the mutton Sukha and the malabari mutton but it is a little heavy on the pocket if eaten frequently.
Appam is so fresh even during delivery it's amazing. Just prices are high else I would give it 5!
Went there with my family..decent interiors.. If the weather is pleasant, you should definitely have a seating on terrace..
Waiters are really good. They know of their dishes really well, like which one is to be recommended ( unlike many other restaurants).
We ordered:
1) appams ( must have with some side gravy)
2) veg gassi (quite different)
3) hyderabadi mutton biryani ( spicy but good, recommended)
4) veg korma ( went well with appams and malabar paranthas)
Quantity is good. This all was sufficient for 4 of us.
Bill- 2100
Definaetly coming over here to try their other mangalorean dishes.
Fish lovers must go.Swagath special Mackerel with Appam are to die for. To top it up, rum with hot water and honey was my last night's mahlzeit.
Best on coastal Mangalorean cuisine..Prawns..crabs..malabari dishes a real treat.. Fast cooked and served excellent taste if you enjoy and love a bit spicey food...
We ordered mutton chettinad and Malabar parantha for home delivery. The curry was amazing and the parantha was very fresh. The quantity is good, though little on the higher side for home delivery
Good music, great ambiance and delicious chettinad cuisine. Also loved their Fish biryani. Whenever I have a craving for seafood... Swagath it is for me. Though I prefer their Malviya Nagar outlet but this wasn't bad either.
It is situated in the M block market of greater kailash part II. This market has a lot of good cafes and fine dining places. I have been to swagath defence colony also but I find this branch a lot better. I always have north indian food here so this time also we ordered Murgh makhani, mutton roghan josh and butter naan. The food was upto the mark and service was also pretty good and the ambience added to it. The place was almost empty as it was past lunch time. They have lounge and bar on the first floor and fine dining on second floor. The prices are little on a high side but i would love to visit this place again.
Amazing food. The appam and mutton ghee roast are not to be missed .

Its good place for family meals... With a nice ambience, good gentry, Service par excellence... Menu is also complete. You can get whatever you want.... In fact a friend of ours is alergic to milk and its allied product, we called the chef to enquire if they coyld offer something dairy free.... To our surprise they instantly agreed... And has us served something very tasty.... Haha chef special..... Its a good place to go for family outings on week days or weekends... Since it is Greater kailash 2, has its own share of parking problem.... Sometimes gets too jammed and fing aplace to park seems but difficult but nevertheless..... You can get parking spCe... Just that you need to circle once or twice
This Swagath is located at M9 of Delhi fame M-Block Market of Greater Kailash II which is a land mark of Delhi. Just attended a lunch party and very much impressed with its food quality, specialy starters. Lunch served had only few varities but quality of food served was delecious with less oily and spicely. Drinks (four types), soup (tomato & sweetcorn) and starters (four varities) were really tastey. Staff on duty were caring and service was good. Swagath is not that spacious but it has got its main restaurant at first floor (bar also). Second Floor has another restaurant which is meant for hosting birthday, kitty and other similar parties. Disappointed to know that second floor restaurant dosen’t have restroom, one has to use the same either at the first floor or on the top floor:terrace. Restroom was neat and clean but can be used by only one person at a time. Ample paid parking: Rs.20/- per hour. Overall godd experience. May like to visit again. On third floor, open space on terrace is available for hosting parties which may not be convinient, specially during hot summer.
One of the most delicious fine dine experiences I've ever had. Everything is cooked to perfection and tastes fresh.Try the desi ghee roast chicken with malabari paranthas.
Swagath @ Gk 2 is my preferred place to dine in with family or for drinks. They have 3 floors...one is a bar second is family dining and also a rooftop terrace.

Overall it's a must visit restaurant with friends or family.
Swagath is a restaurant which gives a feel of the old timer restaurants and specially their menu is so extravagant that it circumferences the complete north Indian, south Indian, chinese and mughlai delicacies under one roof. Plus their bar menu also provides good offers to collaborate with your food. Overall its worth your money for a family dine outs. In the time of cafe and lounges this place would definitely take you back in the good old time of family weekend dinners.
One of my favourite places for Authenticish South Indian non vegetarian meals. The menu caters to North Indian and Chinese cuisines also. I usually stick to the South Indian cuisine though. Careful, this is not an Idli Dosai Vada joint. Highly recommend the Malabari Crab Curry with Egg Appam or a Malabari Parantha. Don't try this if you can't handle 🌶️.
The food is nice. Ambience is good. Ideal place for family dinner. The service staff are always very helpful.
Nice food, good service. Value for money
The food is superlative, service is very good.A pretty old chain of restaurant but quality of food is always good. This restaurant has repeat value.
