Recently I ordered from KADALU, Lajpat Nagar 4, New Delhi.
Heard a lot good reviews about this place, so I decided to give it a try.
I have ordered Chicken 65, Butter Chicken , Boneless Dry Pepper Chicken, and Egg Appam and it was soo good in taste.
The food was delivered very quickly and it was packed very well and when I got the food it was warm.

There are hardly any places in delhi which try to do something new food and those who try end up making it bad. They are one of the only one probably who know how to make good south Indian dishes, fuse some different flavor with it and still make it taste delicious.

We had kadai paneer and boneless chciken 65. It was a totally Good experience to tried Thier food. Quality was so great. Chciken was soft and juicy with just Delicious spices in 65. Kadai paneer was also just great. Gravy was just so madly Delicious. Must try dishes recommended.
Kadalu is my favourite place to order food in lockdown, there has a many varieties in chicken and paneer items. The paneer tikka and chicken tikka both are very tasty . Both items are nicely fried . Also they quickly delivered the food .
My fav food from here is chicken manglorean ghee roast . Its lip smacking and so delicious. Made perfectly with good amount of spices. Also had surmai tawa fry. Its really nice with good aroma. Delivery was proper and on time. Perfect one.
Best kadhai paneer i had is from this outlet. Large chunks on paneer in it and gravy is too delicious. Thick and tangy. It was warm when it reached home and quantity of food is more than sufficient. Totally yummy.

All items received was hot and fresh , made with right amount of spices and ingredients , kadhai paneer was just delicious in taste , paneer was lil spicy , it was soft and fresh
Dal tadka was thick and rich with ingredients , gravy was not spicy at all
Butter naan was soft and easy to chew , good go along with both main course items

It's a very nice outlet to have home delivery at your home place last night I have ordered Paneer KadiPattha, Egg Appam and Malabar Paratha with Mix Raita and South Indian Papad. All the dishes were awesome in taste and quality of the food was good and the delivery was also on time.

I like South Indian food a lot, but I want to try something different then my sister told me about Kadalu. So I decided to order food from Kadalu we decided to order Chettinad Veg Biryani. Then we placed the order. we got our meal delivered very quickly. We had it and we liked it a lot. The food was so amazing, I was very impressed and I bookmarked it.
Egg appam and the chicken ghee roast was the order that my dad decided to have from here and the order was delivered to us on time and place is so pocket-friendly the quality of the non veg is one of the best without doubt

Kadalu- to order the best north Indian delicacies. I ordered Kadai paneer which was flavoured with different spices and the cheese was also very soft.
Dal tadka topped with rai and red chilli. It had simple flavours and was tasty. Garlic naan complemented both the cuisines very well.
I recently ordered from this place and had a good experience. The food came in nice packaging and was delivered hot before time which was the best thing.

A nice and cute place with very good ambience and the entire place smells so good like with the food smell it's mesmerizing to all customers, it was indeed to me. So we got some starters for us and it was the pomfret masala tawa fry and surmai fry which was again a great recommended dish for us from the staff.
I can very well attest that this place is going nowhere without making some good reputation. And they are very genuine on how much of quantity food is put in the packs and the prawns are my favorite dish and so I got a huge amount for a small picnic at our office. And amazingly it was so lip smacking.
Dal makni is so tasty never eaten such tasty dal makni. The paneer butter masala and the butter naan is just another level very very tasty. Everyone must try it. The quality and quantity is also amazing and even the packaging is good.

What a great find. On a strip of other flashy North Indian restaurants, this is the hidden gem in the lajpat nagar. The food is fantastic, prices very reasonable as per quality and quanity they offer. We ordered many dishes in recent time and they delivered without any fails. Containers are food graded and can be used for microwave.

Kadalu as the name represents it is one of the best restaurants in Lajpat Nagar to get amazing south Indian style seafood. The ambiance of the place is good and has a touch of Karnataka aesthetic appeal. We have ordered a prawn dish, neer appam & Biryani. All the dishes were amazing in taste and satisfied the taste buds. I had visited this place for lunch along with my friends,this place located in Amar colony near bada Gurudwara, ambiance is decent not very fancy, interior it's nice, food is delicious specially matar malai methi,mirch kari patta, malabar parantha,uppam and gulab jamun.
Staff is cooperative well behaved and service is little slow.
Totally pocket friendly restaurant.
I went here with my mum for a little lunch, the place is neatly done, located across the road from the gurudwara and closest metro station being moolchand.
For starters we had-
TANDOORI MUSHROOMS- since that is what most people had recommended so we went for it and I'm glad we did, it had succulent flavours of the roast from the tandoor, giving it a nice touch.
BUTTER PEPPER GARLIC FISH- really really loved for its sound flavours of garlic and butter. Absolutely recommend it to everybody.
Main course-
MALABAR CHICKEN CURRY- it's a red curry, slightly spicy and tangy, one should have a taste for southern flavours to try it and we loved it.
We paired it with appam and a malabar parantha.
It was a good experience in all.

Located in Lajpat Nagar 4 , this is a small joint offering North Indian, Seafood and South Indian cusine.
Ample parking space available thanks to the sealing drive in the area.
We were there for lunch in group of 5 adults and two kids.

STARTERS
Surmai Koliwada - Fresh and juicy Surmai, marinated in a spicy south indian paste and deep fried, was a perfect starter for the non vegetarians
Tandoori Mushroom - were a visual delight for all and was polished off pretty fast.
Chicken Hyderabadi - Had an amazing taste and texture . The meat was tender and spices were just right.
All the starters were pretty good on the deliciousness meter.
MAIN COURSE
Chicken Chettinad was an explosion of flavours and spices with curry leaves while the Surmai Gassi Surmai (also known as Seer)was nice with the classic style of preparation with grated coconut. Also quite good.
However the surprise dish which stood out in the veg main course was MATAR METHI MALAI which was simply amazing and is a must have.
BREADS
In the breads, Appams and Neer dosa stole the show.
The perfect accompaniments to the flavourful curries.
Appam - A common food in the coastal regions was perfectly made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk
Neer Dosa –“Neer” meaning watery in Tulu language is an essential in the Mangalorean cuisine. The batter should be watery and not thick, and that’s how it was providing full justice to the name
Malabar Paratha : Malabar Parottas originate from the Malabar region along the coast of southern India. These were flaky, crispy and crumbly and like by all in the group
Overall, our meal at Kadalu turned out to be good.
The talented kitchen offers all the dishes at good quality.
It is certainly a nice place to go along with family for a coastal fare and that too at prices which don’t hit your pocket hard.

The new kid in the block, this South Indian restaurant is located just few steps from the Moolchand Metro Station. Take a walk, if you must, to build your appetite.
Once you step inside, its a whole new world waiting to embrace you. As you make your way towards your seat and the door behind you closes, the hustle bustle outside slowly fades into the sweet soothing sound of Carnatic music. The place has a calm and serene ring to it with peaceful interiors that ensure the ambiance is one complete harmony. What adds to its placid feel is the invisible inviting sign -
'Welcome to the no-rush weekday feast'.
I settled comfortably on the table facing the road to quietly observe the chaos of one world from the vantage point of the other drenched in peaceful harmony. A pleasant distraction came in the form of the menu. Personally, I found the menu to be quite well balanced, unlike the juxtaposition of the restaurant with the disarrayed world outside . It had something for everyone - this is where vegan and Non-vegan find a common table to dine at. After spending some time in reading the menu in and out more than once, I ordered a Buttermilk.
The savory sour drink is an excellent body cooler and senses refresher - the kind you need after slogging 8 hours at work! The Buttermilk arrived within 10 minutes and that's the last thing I remember about the drink. What I don't remember is falling through the trenches of Nirvana as I experienced the mildly spiced drink rejuvenating me from inside out.
A bit of exaggeration?
Maybe.
But the fact of the matter is, the Buttermilk was a sweet (unlike its nature, which is sour) delight to my tired body.
It was now time to order the starter.
After few initial doubts, I ordered, Tandoori Aaloo.
I was impressed by their quick service. The dish arrived at my table within 10-15 minutes. Damn, Instagram! My tummy tussled with the Instagrammer in me as I took multiple shots to get the right picture. The Aaloo looked so ravishing. At last, the need of the moment won, as I kept aside my phone and quickly gorged on the Aaloos. They were perfectly cooked and the filling was prepared in the coconut oil, which left a lasting after taste.
Soon after, I ordered my main course dish - Chettinad Vegetable & Malabar Parota.
This took a little time to arrive, but the aroma felt so assuring as if it was trying to calm me and tell me, "Joy, its going to be worth the wait!" I responded with a poised demeanor.
The Taste:
When you first take the bite, you might not feel an explosion of Chettinad in your mouth as you would expect. The dish is so beautifully prepared that it demands your patience. Gradually the spices and freshly ground masalas start to induce their true flavour and you can't help but relish each and every bite.
The Place & Staff:
The setting is neat and clean with a fleet of hospitable staff, ready to serve you their best delicacies. All in all it's a nice place to enjoy with family, friends and loved ones.
And for those who're wondering what's 'Kadalu', it means Ocean.

As u guys know lajpat nagar amar colony is a food hub for Chinese restaurant n also different cuisines u can find most of the variety but did u find coastal region Food? if u think u can't then u r wrong now their is a new restaurant here a 3 months old property Kadalu restaurant very easy to find, this coz it's near gurudawara sahab n 5 mins walking distance from nearest metro station moolchand.
Here u can find coastal Indian both sort of food .This restaurant is basically Mangalorian food with nice presentation on bananas leaf.
Overall a complete Mangalorian food experience I got it in lunch time with few of my frinds like family guys plzz check pics u love it n must try this place I sure u love this regional cuisine
A really nice place to visit. The north indian is lip smacking. Tandoori mushroom was so crispy and nice Dal makhani and butter chicken was too tasty! This place is totally recommended!

If you love coastal cuisine, you must visit to this place. Even they serves really good vegetarian food as well, I tried their methi malai matar and veg chettinad with beer dosa and appam. And totally loved all the dishes. For non vegetarians, they must try pomfret fry, chicken chettinad with malabar parontha ☺️
