Visited this place today for lunch. The decor is truly amazing and has a very old world charm. The staff is cordial and friendly. I ordered kastoori kabab, rara gosht, rice and iced tea. Loved the food and presentation. However, the service time is very long and it took forever for the food to arriv
The place is really nice for dining in with friends or family.
I ordered chicken tikka which was hot spicy soft and tender, and veg biryani which was served with curd and was really good!
The food is altogether delectable.
Parking is easily available in the area.

It is one of the good fine dine places. Their portions are quite enough for 1 perso. Acc. To me. So order wisely to avoid wastage . taste of everything os good. I liked their dahi kebab. Little expensive but thats ok for this category of restaurant at Cannught place.
Mother India Restaurant is totally based on a Bollywood movie theme. Even the restroom of the restaurant has that niche retro feel.
The decoration of the restaurant also soothes the eye.

Nice ambiance with rustic look. Place have beautiful lighting and images all around may give back some memories of 70s. Serving is decent but food is very rich. It is high on spices. curries felt like over cooked and you do not get the flavor of the vegetables. Overall decent experience.
