Ok guys! Ordered my dinner from Baris today, all the dips were so fresh and yumm! And especially the acili ezme and beetroot lebnah was out of this world! The packaging was good too, all the dips were in separate spaces and none of them mixed with each other, good job guys!! The food was super tasty , the portion size is excellent! They also gave turkish bread with the same! It was sufficient for 2 people! Overall good experience! Must order from here peeps!

Visited Baris last night with couple of friends to watch IPL .... I must say they have a perfect outdoor terrace seating to watch matches over beer and kebabs .... will be back soon!!
This was our first visit to baris , our friends had been telling us to go there , and I'm so happy that today we finally decided to go there.
Food here is really awesome and You can try almost anything as everything tastes so good. We had their turkish coffee, pride and Adana and a Kunafe as dessert ..Kudos to chef and special thanks to there service staff for making our evening perfect ... will be back soon
Went to baris yesterday, the dine in was clean. The food was amazing, specially the kebabs. We even had the Turkish coffee. It was my first dinner out after the lockdown and totally worth it. The safety precautions were taken by the staff.

Lets first talk about there ambience.
Baris is the bliss in this Delhi's busy and hectic life. It away from any kind of hustle and bustle. You will definitely take a pause here with the drag of hookah. Yeah, they serve hookah(sheesh) but that is really expensive. I am in love with the ambience of this place, especially at night. They are close to fine dining as they have really royal Arabic kind of restaurant but the thing that exclude them from other restaurants cum cafe genre is there "rooftop". I love how they have created an aura with bamboo seats and dim lighting. You really feel good there. Baris is my happy palace when I want to have a silent evening with me or with my pals over the smoke of hookah flavours.
Now discuss the core, The food.
I have some mix reviews about there food. So I forcefully suggest everyone to try only there the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. They are master of that taste. Like there dish name as "Hummus bin dujaj" you love it if haven't tried Turkish cuisine.
Their kabab are mouth-watering like "tavuk kiyma kebab". They have a drink name as "Frozen Baris" I have that drink every time I go down there, its really different kind of Mocktail.
They have Indian cuisine too but if you are there to eat Indian please go to any Dhaba they will serve you much better in respect of taste.
Visit Baris only for Turkish food.

I enjoy Bari's food and I think the quality of their ingredients plus a clear taste of each element in the dish is the key! Even when going to the restaurant completes the experience of their food, I ordered Suckulu Pide Pizza and was a delight, however I believe a little more of salt would enhace the flavour. I as well tried the Manti, they were nice but as per the size of each Manti is quite small, its not that easy to enjoy the stuffing properly. For me I wanted to order the turkish pizza "Lahmacun" wich I have tried before and totally love, however, it's not available to be ordered from the online menu and thats why I order something else,... PLEASE ADD IT !! ....
The manager Ravi was extremely courteous and polite, as was the rest of the staff. The food was exceptionally good, especially the Turkish mezze platter.
A hidden gem in GK2. Its a very sophisticated restaurant with great ambience to match a special occasion with your loved ones.
The restaurant specialises in Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine so if you want to explore something out of the ordinary this is a good place to visit.
However The usual North Indian cuisine is also available which is at par and even better than many Restaurants which solely focus on such cuisine.
Great ambience combined with courteous staff and well served portions for the price customers pay, makes this restaurant a true hidden gem
The place is a stand-out for sure.
From ambiance to courteous staff to the food; everything measures beyond expectations. Turkish pizza (sebzeli pida)had rustic flavour oozing out the very essence of Turkish offerings. -different and worth a try.
Baris guvec took me to the flavours of mountains which has minimum spices and just rely on authenticity of natural flavours. Rice went pretty well with tender lamb cubes and both my partner and I couldn't get enough of it.
Cocktails were on point- fresh, old-school and worth every penny.
Just one thing which is more than gripe- we found hair in main course which was duly taken noticed and disc was though replaced promptly but that left sour taste in our mouths hence deducted 1 star.
Overall a place which you can't skip if you respect great food ensemble and on-point service etiquettes.
Had an excellent Sunday lunch here. Cilgin tavuk, mahmudiye and baklava were our three courses, after the complimentary welcome bread and dips. Each item was delectable and the place has an ambience to die for. We also tried the Turkish coffee, which was amazing and came with this sweet custardy thing that was smooth af.
It’s a proper fine dining restaurant that’s affordable yet impressive. Although a bit difficult to find, this place is an utter delight once you are inside and eating a slow meal with a loved one. What added greatly to our experience is perhaps a bit unfortunate for the restaurant - we were the only customers! Best wishes to Baris!

Arabic mezze platter was very good. Each dip delicious and authentic. Turkish pizza was a little dry. I do not have a benchmark to comment on its authencity though. The decor was cute as well.
It was our first visit to barish and I'm so happy that we decided to go there. You can try almost anything as everything tastes so good. We had their authentic turkish coffee, babaganoush, woodo paynir, peynir guvec and crazy chicken. Our stomach is full of food and our heart is full of happiness. Nice staff and beautiful ambience too.
starting from the ambience to the food, it was very sophisticated and mind blowing. I really liked the veg platter and the pink humous served along side the dish.

went to their roof top area..has a nice moroccon kind of decor..food is great..the only downside was they had a party going on downstairs wherein general public could not sit..however in some time people came up to the roof top area and were really loud and smoking which was quite inconvenient for us..even the service became really slow as the team was focussed on the party guests..the management should manage it better..

Amazing ambience and food! Loved it. Went for my mom dads anniversary and the food was to die for especially the Turkish pizza. The non veg platter and dips were amazing too.
As an individual who prioritises ambience and decor at almost the same level as the food, I would like to say that Baris was an experiential delight! Their decor(indoor and rooftop) have both been designed with such authentic touches from Mediterranean architecture. The food and service was also great! The kebabs and mousakka were both really good but what stole the show was the tiramisu with Turkish coffee! A must visit for anyone who likes Mediterranean food and authenticity.
Barua has a special place in my heart , 1 I love middle eastern cuisine and The food was very nice and so was the ambience. The terrace is the perfect spot to spend time and have some delicious kebabs and humus. The tiramisu is one of the best I have had in Delhi. Staff is also well trained.

Been planning to eat at this Turkish place for long. Loved their cold mezze platter - a true summer treat. The adana kebab was succulent and way light on the spices and condiments, making the meat taste so much better. I ended up giving 4 stars only because of the main courses which did not stand up to the level of starters. I wish to have ordered a hot mezze and/or Turkish pizza instead. Well that's for my next trip!
I recently went to this place for my birthday lunch. It has a beautiful ambience and amazing food. The chicken tikka and pizza was perfectly flavoured. The staff was also very polite. However, the only drawback that I felt was houseflies roaming around our table which is unhygienic. This is only thing which I felt that they need to work on!
aris is the best pick in Delhi to relish Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine. Being a vegetarian, I was amazed at their varieties of veg dishes. Right from the ambiance, decor, service and food, everything was perfect. Terrace area is very beautiful and appealing- perfect for a date .Service was impeccable and staff was attentive. I tried the following items-
1) Hummus with sesame pita bread- this was definitely the STAR dish here. Hummus with fluffy sesame pita bread is highly recommended. The preparation was authentic.
2) Veg Pide was brilliant. It was made with toppings of grilled veggies and roasted sesame seeds. Every bite of it was full of deliciousness.
3) Mantar kabab- mushroom kababs which were very soft and had a rich taste of mushrooms.
4) Mezze platter- such a colorful platter which is a must try for all vegetarians. All dips were freshly made and each dip had a different unique flavor.

I’ve been to Baris before but this time I was there for a special curated five course dessert and savoury tea party they hosted with the lovely Mad Batter by TG. And what an incredible experience it was! Inspired by Alice in Wonderland’s adventure, each course was designed to take you on a delightful journey for your taste buds. The right mix of sweet and savoury bakes and goodies, it was a magical experience which became we’ll the more joyous thanks to the inspired hospitality and ambience at Baris. Later of course I indulged in their signature mocktails, including my all time favourite Moroccan surprise. I hope Baris keeps bringing such great experiences for its patrons. Okay, so I visited this place for the first time in December, wanting to try authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. I didn’t have any expectations in mind, as everywhere else one would get a cliched Mezze Platter in the name of Middle Eastern cuisine. But, as I read through the vast menu, I realised that this place was much more than that. 👌🏻
The menu is amazingly amazing, and has authentic Turkish and Arabic dishes. The Arabic Mezze Platter, with it’s own set of about 5 dips, is something worth trying! If you’re a hardcore Non-Veg, like my brother, don’t forget to try the NonVeg Platter.
The best thing about this place is its vast variety of Vegetarian dishes.
The ambience of the place is wonderful, and the open sitting is like cherry on top of the cake. The place is comfortable, and a good place for a casual meet with your friends.
In all, 5 stars from my side! :)
Okay, so there’s one last thing I’d like to say(something I write at the end of every review). Please, avoid using PLASTIC STAWS. Today, plastic straws constitute more than half of the oceans, and plastic pollution is the most major environment issue today. Being an avid environmentalist, I’d suggest you to use plastic straws which are recyclable. Avoid using stirrers in drinks, too, because I don’t think they are used by anyone, and it only aggravates the formidable scenario of today!
Please, guys! It’s a question of our planet. And this is our chance to save this planet!

Baris is a wonderful place to be at! I visited it last week with my husband and we completely loved the ambience. It's so pleasing to the eye and peaceful. The rooftop is another plus point, especially if you have to visit the space at night.
Happening crowd, good food, good drinks - a total value for money.
Talk about Acoustic nights, belly dancing nights or the Sunday brunches - I love everything here - their events, the ambience, the food and the drinks.
Can't wait for this Sunday to attend the brunch again. With authentic turkish delacicies being served by their Chef from Turkey, this place is a highly-recommended to visit!

Baris is the Mediterranean hub in Delhi. The interiors are so pretty that one immediately is moved into it. The big doors the furniture the cutlery the floor tiles everything is beautifully kept. It has an open terrace with live singing. The food just gets to be the cherry on the cake. It’s a Mediterranean feast one can think of.

The service was great. The food was also nice. Their pita bread is the freshest pita I have eaten. The mutton kebab was awesome. Their hummus platter was alright. The greatest of all was the baba ganoush. The baklava was not great, it was stale and hard to eat. Overall, this place definitely deserves more than one visit.

Very humble place, great hospitality. Food tastes well and once again presentation of food which I love was class apart. We ordered mezze platter, paneer shish and paneer pilaf. Food was good and had nice flavours. Meze platter and 8 types of dips along with pita which was served warm and fresh from the oven. Loved the experience, I will visit again to enjoy non-veg items on the menu.

Love the place, especially during the Winters and spring. The live music is a big plus..we've had a great experience with the food once and a terrible experience too! But overall we still like the place a lot!

What I really liked about the place was it's middle eastern ambience and the seating area at the terrace. We didn't sample too much of the food here except the flat breads, which were great and some excellent Turkish coffee. Would go back here with more non vegetarian friends to try other things on the menu.

A warm fine dining experience in the very beloved GK. Nestled in the market, the place might be a little difficult to locate. My friend and I went to check this one out for a pleasant brunch experience. The food was different since I hadn't tried this cuisine before but I loved it. We chose to sit on the rooftop for soaking the beautiful winter sun. Greeted with happy smiles, the service was nice. I think they can maybe work on their playlist, maybe upgrade to some slow Turkish songs or the like for an enhanced experience.
Overall, the experience was good, I would have given a 4.5 if I could.

If Zomato permitted me to give a 4.5 star rating, that would probably be it. I can’t give them a perfect 5 and 4 seems a little low for the warmth and courtesy that was extended to us.
We went for a family dinner and wanted to sit on the rooftop, which is really pretty, by the way. There are canopies to sit and the place is adorned with low, beautiful lights. However, it was completely packed with people.
The owner himself ensured that we got what we wanted. He personally supervised and brought chairs and tables from their indoor restaurant (which was on the first floor) so that they could make place for us. This was a really nice gesture on part of Baris and this was the highlight of our evening. The service, too, was very polite and very prompt.
We started with a complimentary bread basket which came with interesting dips. The food that we ate was tasty and flavourful, the Turkish Pizza and Lamb Kebabs, being my personal favourite. Even the Shawarma was good. Apart from being different, the food was light and not too heavy on the stomach either. The presentation was good.
I’d just like to point out one thing - all the starters were served with just one type of dip. Maybe that’s how such food goes, but I’m sure a little variety here could make the food a tad bit flavourful.
In a span of one week, I’ve visited them thrice. I liked the ambiance and the service here and would definitely be making many more visits.

Baris which means 'Peace' in Turkish is an amazing mix of Middle Eastern, Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine in Delhi. Located in the GK 3 area of South Delhi it is a hidden gem that not many people in NCR are aware of. If you are looking for authentic Turkish-Middle Eastern cuisine then the only option are the Star Hotels which cost a bomb. So for a more reasonable budget there is nothing like Baris. From ambiance to service to food, everything excels here. A big thumbs-up from my side to try this amazing restaurant for any special occasion.
Location: Yes, it's quite difficult to locate if you are new to GK area. The restaurant is beside a small shopping complex with a small entry and office buildings all around. There are small markings to direct you but you may still have to ask the locals.
Parking: There is road side parking which you may or may not get close by depending on the traffic.
Ambiance: The restaurant is on the 1st and 2nd floor of the building. On the ground floor there is a lift which takes you to either of them. 1st floor is indoor seating while 2nd floor is basically open roof top. All around you can see the middle eastern decor which is soothing to the eye and never goes over the top. The roof top is amazing with mist fans and ac ducts to cool down the things during hot summer months. Winters are the best to enjoy the open seating.
Seating: On the 1st floor there is seating for around 30+ guests which are really comfortable. On rooftop where we sat, has similar number of seating for guests. The tables are low and seating has covered section also.
Service: Since we came on a weekday lunch for our anniversary there was no one expect us. So the whole rooftop was ours. While ordering, each item we selected from the menu was explained and suggestions were given which is a nice touch. Food was brought quickly and tables were cleared on time. It was not intrusive neither we had to wait for anything.
Food: The menu of Baris is quite exhaustive and if someone has no idea of the cuisine then he may struggle. So do some research before coming. We ordered Lamb Kibbeh, Pilich Shish Kebab, Peynir Pide (Turkish Pizza), Hashwet al Ruz(Lebanese lamb biryani) in mains. All the items were simply amazing, specially the Lamb Biryani which has really soft pieces of lamb. We finished the meal with some Baklava in desserts and Turkish Tea. The only thing that we could mark for improvement was the quantity of biryani which could have been more. Otherwise everything was cooked well and tasted even better.
Price: It's not cheap. The preparation requires some quality ingredients and a good chef which makes it in the higher side of budget. Our's touched 4k since we had many items and drinks for 3 people. But the price you pay is definitely worth it and you can definitely try it on special occasions like ours.
Overall an amazing restaurant which delights you with beautiful food from the Turkish cuisine. Highly recommended for a special evening with family and friends. Do visit if you want to try something new in food and you will not be dissapointed.

Food is very delicious and pretty authentic. Manager mr gaurav sethi is pretty humble and helpful. Staff did feel lost but the food really makes up for it. Prices are ok after using zomato gold is a steal deal. Would recommend this place to all the people who loved the food in the gulf.

All the food is very good compared to authentic Turkish dishes. Even the Turkish coffee. The only reason to take a star off is because the rice wrapped in wine leaf (dolma in Greek) was nothing like the authentic dish. Also, the baklava was the store-bought kind, very sugar sweet.
The ambience is lovely and tables are spaced out to give everyone space to chat. The only drawback is the loud music that prevents comfortable conversation.
Service is excellent and timely, and the staff is very polite, but not overly eager. Perfect balance.
Baris - The first floor gives off quite a retro and bar vibe. The terrace on the other hand is quite the experience to enjoy during the evening/night time while enjoying the live music.
The food is quite delicious and worth the money and the time spent. From the delectable variety of cocktails to the mouth-watering Baklava Duo, it was an amazing experience.
But unfortunately it can only be considered as a one time affair.
So take from this review what you wish but the place is definitely worth a visit.

However, one major point of feedback is on the music. If you play Justin Bieber and commercial songs while you're trying to create an authentic experience, it kills the vibe. They need to promote themselves more and keep the vibe more authentic with the right music. Imagine having belly dance performances here with the Turkish ambience and food. That would be a good vibe!

Ambiance of this place is quite comfy & cozy. It is ideal for a date or a friends
birthday partty. It glimmers in the dark with some neon lights.

Cigar Rolls filled with chorn ,cheese & herbs. Gave a tingy flavour with black pepper.

Wild Mushrooms sauteed with onion, garlic, thyme balsamic glaze, parmesan. It is served
with hummus. Bread is lavash crostini.
Paneer Gurvec
Cottage cheese, shallots, olives , Veggies baked with mozzarella. Turned into a spiced
up gravy. Served with saffron rice/pilaf.
They serve north indian also. They have good options in north indian as well.
Refreshing drinks as well. I had watermelon & pomegrenate mocktails.

I spent my weekend at Baris GK, this place has very attractive ambiance and they serves Turkish food so it different experience all together, i tried multiple food items and each item i ordered turned very tasty.
i started my meal with mercimek corbasi soup it as served with lemon 🍋 adding lemon in soup enhanced its taste it was thick and tasty. then i moved to starters and as per staff recommendation i ordered cigar borek it was crispy and very very tasty, then i ordered veg kebab platter as it had multiple option in one plate and i liked everything and paneer tikka in that was my best pick 🤤 i also had sebzli pide (pizza) which had cheese and veggies it was nicely presented with dips and taste was really good.
in main course i had chilav (turkish biryani) which was served with hung curd its taste was totally different i had first time this kind of biryani and loved it, in last i had Turkish Tea with baklava i had Tea and baklava together and it was like happy ending of my meal.
service was in the top, in this covid time they taking all necessary precautions as per government, do it was wonderful experience.

Head to this gem if you are a Mediterranean cuisine lover and relish some lip-smacking dishes. The best part is they have quite a elaborate offering for vegetarians and I would recommend you to try cigar rolls, aloo kebab, peyneer(paneer) kebab, kiwi baris, chilav, pizza to try. We also ordered Kadai paneer and daal makhani, which tasted average. Butter Naan was very soft. The service is a bit slow but the overall ambience and feel will compensate that.
Hog on to this place at weekends, and you might end of enjoying some great belly performance or any other.
Also, avoid taking rooftop sitting as its very humid.
Overall experience is worth trying.
We went there because of Turkish food as Turkish guests visiting India and definitely enjoyed the great food, ambience and especially the nice service of the staff, especially the manager who has always stood on our side to make sure we like and everything is good. Baris is a beautiful restaurant located in GK2. With a beautiful indoor as well outdoor ambience, they serve turkish, meditarrean and middle eastern food. I visited them few days back with my friends. We tried their turkish pizza, mantar yahnisi, kavrulmus tavuk. Absolutely loved everything I tried here especially their turkish pizza. Would definitely recommend this place to try!
Loved food.. almost all dishes (except one) were awesome in presentation and taste.. the cigar rolls were the only let down but that is a small miss in an otherwise lovely lovely meal
