This is a very well known shop in chawri Bazar. I recently went there to taste there nagori halwa specially as I had some work nearby. it was a big kachori like thing with halva and aloo ki sabzi. It was actually very delicious and very reasonable for RS 60. I also tried their paneer pakoda which was just ok..the only problem is that lanes are very congested so it's a bit risky during this corona phase. If you are planning, visit them early morning for breakfast when there is less crowd.
One of the oldest places in old Delhi to eat
The authentic bedmi puri with aaloo ke sabzi with some kadu ke sabzi and tangy achar
Food quality is too good
Prices are also reasonable and totally worth spending the money
It’s located in chawari bazar Delhi -6 near Jama Masjid nearest metro station is chawari bazar
One of the gem places to eat in old Delhi
Highly recommended for breakfast they serve bedmi puri and aloo ki sabzi which is outstanding perfect Breakfast, you can try their Chhole Bhature it's also good and lassi was also nice very thick and delicious.
Tastometer 4/5
Shyam sweets being famous for its Nagori halwa and bedmi puri. The experience was very nice. The lassi tasted really good and the prices were also reasonable. Quality was also up to the mark. Hope to visit again soon..❤️
Value for Money. Service requires improvement. Chole Bhature, naan and kulcha , stuffed paranthe, samosa and sweets are good in taste.
Another old delhi gem. The pethe ki sbji and nagori halwa is to die for.... Matar kachori with alu ki sbji is such a delight.. long lines every morning for a plate of crispy bedmi poori. But the service is quick and the taste is very authentic and quality of ingredients is the best. Part of ur to do list when you r in delhi
Never loved the subah ka naasta as much I loved it here. The new thing here was Nagori Halwa and Poori and Plus point for Lassi it was just amazing.

Nagori Halwa and Bedmi Puri from here is awesome. But try going early in the morning before 11 am. If you're a lassi person then go for it. You can get yourself a tasty breakfast right in the middle of Old Delhi without burning your pocket👏
Lovely place for a nice morning breakfast. The place is not just about the food but also thhe culture and history it serves
The old famous shop and the mouthwatering dishes. Just loved the aloo sabji, bedmi puri and lassi. I will visit this place again. It has maintained the authenticity
One of the oldest places for epic breakfast situated in by-lanes of Old Delhi ( walking distance from Chawri Bazaar metro station). The food is traditional and yummy. One of the best bedmi aloo and nagori halwa, staff are friendly. If you are Delhi this place is a must visit.
I absolutely loved their moong Dal halwa. It was literally dripping with loads of Desi ghee! We also tried bedmi alloo and kachori and everything was good.
Must have is nagori halwa and bedmi puri finest taste of old delhi.........though various other outlet offers nagori halwa.......but this outlet do complete justice to taste

When you think of Bedmi Puri and Aloo ki Sabzi, there is only one name which comes to mind, Shyam Sweets.
The restaurant first opened in 1910 and has been the talk of town and perhaps the most iconic food eatery in Delhi-6.
Bedmi Puri which is made like a normal puri with the only difference that the dough is mixed with lentils and some mild spices and then deep fried. To eat with it you are given Aloo ki Sabzi, Chole and pickled carrots.
This one breakfast dish you must have when in Delhi.

Shyam Sweets which has been its crown jewel since 1910 keeping the beauty of its past alive with it's delicacy.
Their speciality and the thing they’re famous for is their breakfast items kachori, bedmi puri, spicy aloo and cholla with halwa.
All in all an absolutely yummy enjoyable, this place has no seating, we ended our breakfast with breakfast with a thick malai (cream) topped lassi served in a kulhad
I am visit today shyam sweet old delhi in chawri bazaar .i very old sweet shop . i ordered puri with alu sabji our cholle very hot and testy .. Here special nagauri halwa with papdi its very special and very testy ..i am very happy .
The tastiest sabji i have in long time with perfectly fried poori. But i found halwa poori a li'l bit overhyped there.
Went to Chawri Bazar and tried this place for breakfast. I tried their desi bedmi and nagori. The bedmi puri was decent enough. I liked the chole more than the aloo gravy. The best item was their desi ghee suji halwa. It was just delicious. I can come back to this place for just that halwa .
Best sweet shop in Old delhi. Loved the bedmi puri and nagori halwa for breakfast. Aloo sabzi and chana with methi ki chatni tasted so good. They sell a wide range of sweets. Lassi could have been better though. The churning was not perfect but good enough. Must visit for breakfast
when it comes to bedmi puri with matar kachori there is no competition against shyam sweets .
service is fantastic and croud is good too .
This place is best place for morning breakfast simply loving it. I have tried bedmi puri with allo sabzi, Nagori halwa, kachodi with sabzi, lassi and badam milk. All were superb in taste and best breakfast ever had. Mitti and salted lassi both are amazing in taste but my favourite in tasted was badam milk damn loved it. Must try guys..
Scrumptious Chole Bhature, fluffy bhaturas, and spicy chole that came with li’l chunks of aloo and paneer slices. Essence of the masalas and the burst of flavours it gives to your taste buds is just too good to resist!
Nagori which is dipped in the honey yellow hued delicious halwa brings light up on your face at a very first bite.
The perfect combination mouthwatering variety of namkeen, samosas and dry fruits make this place a best place for breakfast.
Shyam Sweets is my go to place for Indian style breakfast. Whenever I visit this place I always order Bedmi Puri with chole or other curry available. And every single time they have given me immense joy. The place is Hygienic but don’t expect their sweets to compete with the likes of Haldirams or Bikaner.
Things we ordered
Bedmi puri sabji 5/5
Nagori halwa puri ⅘
Lassi ⅘
Modak ⅘
Rasmalai ⅗
Milkcake ⅗
More than 100 years old shop, famous for their bedmi puri, nagori halwa and sweets. Had their bedmi puri served with Aloo sabzi and chole and it was just too good. Aloo sabzi was tangy and a bit spicy and puris were so crispy. Will try their nagori halwa too. Highly recommended.
I used to place order from swiggy. Good taste & packaging both vegetables and pickle. Matar kachori also delicious. must say you try it. I loved it.
“Bang on My Buck! Sang on My Taste Budd!!”
Being born and brought up in Old Delhi, the place is legendary. Not just my dad but my grandad has been a fan. The place is a century old and still amazes to keep the same taste over decades and generations. In this day and age this is unreal.
My all time favourites are their Bedi Aaloo ki Subji and Sweet Lassi. My parents are a big fan of their Nagauri and mouth melting halwa. Any festival is incomplete without their matter ki kachori and aaloo samosas.
Recently I tried their Rasmalai and Malai Chap.. it was heavenly. Plus their seasonal ghewars are a must try.
I can go on and on... Damn I love their food.
Food: 100/10
Ambience: 8/10
Service: 10/10
Value for Money: 10/10
The owners are extremely polite and welcoming.
Must visit guys.

Shyam sweets is one the many hidden gems tucked in the busy little streets of chawri bazaar in purani dilli. This place as it name suggests is not onky famous for it's sweets but mostly for its aloo puri, nigori subzi and halwa puri. This place is not really difficult to find as it is super crowded and very famous.
I went ther and tried there puri sabzi and halwa nigori which was surely followed by kulhad lassi. So there were choley, aloo subzi, pickle, halwa puris and nugori in the whole spread we ordered and every item on the table was just an explosion of spices and had that old delhi vibe in it. This was just one really amazing breakfast which i crave a lot at times. The kulhad lassi was just the star ending to that perfect meal soothing all the spices with its thick and sweet flavor. Do try this place if you are a puri sabzi fan and try not to miss their lassi with it.
I am a stationary person so whenever I visit Chawari bazar or Nai sarak for stationary i always eat something from here 🙈🙄 This place is really very old and is very famous for its Alloo puri, Kachori’s and Lassi
This is a sure sure recommendation to you as it’s really pocket friendly and food is finger licking good
Much love 💕

Nearest metro -chawri bazar
Its very old sweet shop in heart of chawri bazar.
Lassi was good but its not the exact taste of chandni chowk. They have lot of sweets, kachori, samosa. They also even have their own ready to eat packs.
Some place is delhi are really old and this is ons of them. Shyam sweets in heart of chawri bazaar in delhi is famous for its kachori sabzi and nagori halwa. I had a two bedmi poori, aloo sabzis, a bowl of melting hot nagori halwa and a small glass of lassi. All for just 160 bucks this place beside being value for money is also has excellent taste to each and every dish they cook. Must go in delhi.
Shyam Sweets is a very crowded eatery, and for a good reason. It has a vast menu to choose from. We had Lassi and Rasmalai from here; while the rasmalai was decent, lassi was one of the best we've ever had!
Sunday morning I was in old Delhi to buy some books and thought of having breakfast here
Tried Bedmi Poori, Matar Kachori and Dhokla
Really like their service...They have so much to offer...just decide what you want to have and place your order... within few mins you will have your order in front of you
This is the best Aloo ki Sabzi I have tried in my life...It was thick, spicy and so tasty
Matar Kachori was fully stuffed
Old Delhi has so many Iconic outlets to have Kachori, Puri etc but if you are around you must visit
Prices are also reasonable

What is the most craziest way in which you have had a Gol-gappa?????.....added with different types of water right?????......but what if one gets to have it with a halwa????........well yes its possible....shyam sweets in chawri bazar gives you the opportunity to do this 😊.... Nagori halwa is a variant of a golgappa but stuffed with a filling of halwa....one another favourite breakfast option for a local in Dilli6....the crispy and crunchy poori or you may even call it mathri....is made up of soojiii and fried in ghee....it is paired up effortlessly with a hot halwa made up of sooji and yess....it is also made in ghee...the halwa has the right amount of everything...the sweetness...the flavors of kesar and saffron...and also the richness of ghee and nuts...so how is this thing eaten????.....well you take a piece of nagori and stuff the halwa inside it and then take a bite of it....all the flavors and the sweetness of the halwa just bursts inside your mouth even in the first bite of this dish...well you may find this dish in most of the areas of #Dilli6....but this place specializes for it.....not only because of the sweetness of the halwa...but also because of the sweetness of the owner...what can you ask more for....a sweet dish with a sweet and happy face of the owner..... Well to balance the sweetness of this dish you also get their famous aloo ki subzi with the dish......not to forget the price....it is not only sweet in your mouth but also on your pockets too....yess....it costs only 60₹ to have this delicious breakfast...in which you get 4 pooris with halwa and aloo subzi aur aatma ki santushti😍😍😍😍
This is great place for breakfast and you should try their bedmi poori and nagori halwa along with some rasmalai , a affordable place for a heavy and satisfying breakfast plus their flavoured milk is also pretty yummy and full of grated dry fruits , really recommended
After watching alot of videos n hearing from loads of friends abt them.
Finally i reached here. It was a local sweets shop. Opened somewhere in 40s-50s i guess so. Near jama masjid.
They have been selling different kinds of sweets n other stuff.
N they came under light, when they started their breakfast delicacy.
So we tried their famous #Bedmipoori n nagori halwa.
Bedmi poori was like every other vendor sells. I found nothing new in that.
But what really attractive n delicious was that nagori halwa.
Which was served with 4 lil suji kachoris. A small bowl of suji halwa made in desi ghee with exact amount of sweeteners in it.n the aroma of cardamom was just too good.
Its a must visit place in chawri bazar for breakfast

If you are walking in the narrow lanes of chawri Bazar and feeling the pangs of hunger...well then shyam sweets is kind of a savior. I found this place tucked in traffic. Ordered the following:
- Mutter Samosa
- Mutter Kachori
- Dal Kachori
- Sweet lassi
- Salty lassi
- cham cham
The highlight was the mutter samosa...khasta and crisp and very well balanced filling with mild spices not at all overpowering. One of the BEST SAMOSAS ive had.
The Kachori's came with a potato curry. The mutter kachori was small but very tasty. The dal kachori i didn't quite like..as it was very very dry. I would give the dal kachori a miss and just go for the mutter ones.
Next the meethi / sweet lassi was another highlight creamy and delicious. Both lassi's sweet and salty were very refreshing and spot on in terms of taste.
The cham cham was also quite nice.
This places makes for quite a quick lunch if you fancy kachori's and samosas as quick lunch to calm that raging hunger
The owner / cashier is a friendly guy who is interested if you've had a good experience or not, so do share your experience on the food with him
When in chawri bazar be sure to head to this small yet satisfying snacks shop and eat to your heart's content.
My go to place for ordering when in confusion. This place is truly the essential old delhi taste . It has been my favourite meal for a long time. The puri aloo , the sweet kulhad lassi , the sweets like halwa nangori , all of it is unique in own way.
The place is one of the best places to eat when one visits Old Delhi. It's super close to the metro station and very easy to locate as well, as it's centrally located. Went there to try their famous Bhedwi Puri and Nagori halwa, and instead ended up tasting a lot of different varieties of sweets as well. The owner is quite the salesman i must say. I couldn't have enough of the Bhedwi Puri and even ordered an extra plate. The halwa wasn't a big hit for me though, but the sweets they recommended were one of the best variety of sweets I've tasted. None of them were the conventional one's that one can find at a local sweet shop. Definitely worth a try. And if i could, i would've given 6 or 7 stars.
Went to this outlet to try out their famous kachori. The kachori with sabji was absolutely fantastic and lip smacking. We loved it very much.
They have a variety of other items and sweets. We are surely going to try other items of this place.
Well this shop is serving breakfast snacks sweets for generations. Taste is very good for anything you have here. For breakfast there bedmi poori and nagori halwa are very famous. The kachori samosa varieties are equally very good . Don't miss there kulhad lassi so delicious. Full value for money.
A legendary place in Chawari Bazaar famous for their breakfast items like Bedami poori aloo and Nagauri halwa and sweets.Expect the place be crowded if visiting during breakfast time on weekends.Service is fast ,don't have to wait long anytime, prices are reasonable.
Nothing can beat the morning stroll in Chandni chaowk and it cant be completed without the garmagarm nashta of shyam sweet. Have bedmi poori with chatpata pumpkin and aloo sabji. After that have a lassi with nagori halwa
This unique matar samosa from the lane of chawri bazaar & from shyam sweets one of the oldest shop of sweets. This matar samosa serve with spicy aloo ki sabzi & the taste of matar samosa was great, delightful & little bit spicy.
Jis tarah har city me old or new city hoti hai. Waise hi delhi ka dil uski old delhi me basta hai. Woh tang galiya jisme jana apne aap me ek struggle hai, aur waha par kuch dhundhna usse bhi bada struggle. Ek aise hi jagah hai Shyam Sweets. This place is located in Chawri Bazaar. Humne GPS ki madad se isse dhundhne ki koshish ki par fail ho gaye, logo se pucha toh kisine sirf sweet suna aur kyuki waha har gali me ek sweet shop hai toh waha bhej diya. Finally owner ko call laga kar puchna pada. Tab unhone address bataya aur bolo bahut saari bheed dikhegi aapko... Bilkul Satya baat. Waha wakai bahut bheed thi. Log 30 minute tak wait kar rahe the desi khane ke liye. Humne try ki unki special Bedmi Poori with aloo ki sabji, Nagori poori with halwa, Khasta kachori with tari wale aloo & finally to finish we had kulhad lassi. Let me discribe the taste... It was really worth waiting. The poori were freshly made so was the sabji. Everything there looked really tasty. It is a traditional sweet shop so no place to sit but they have tables so you can eat easily. The pricing is very much affordable & even in such a rush the owner was very polite to even some very idiot customers. That is a thing which is very rare.
Best kachori place in Delhi so far . They give the best sabji puri . The owner who also sits in the counter is courteous and helpful. They also have some great sweets in their shop to drop by .
Awsa taste of kachori ams i loved its pure lassi
It was really the authentic taste of lassi mas
There was option available for all range of sweets
Tried their nagori halwa and bedmi puri. I love their kaddu ki sabzi which is available in thali on Sundays. I have specially go to this place on Sundays to try my favourite menu. I have visited this mostly on Sunday mornings and there is considerable crowd available in the morning.
Amazing delhi-6 food. Kachori with aalo Sahai and Meethi chutney is unbeatable. It has maintained its quality and taste over the years. The way the packing is done ensures that food is delivered neatly and safely
If you are a fan of bedmi aloo then do try this place.
Sabzis served along with bedmi puri is - khatta meetha petha, chole and the legendary alu with methi chutney. Also, pickled gajar is served along with the sabzis.
We also tried their Nagori Halwa and liked the dish.
Everything was simple and tasty. Picked some sweets for home, so will review those later but I know this for a fact that it would be yumm.
Even after eating 3 puris i didnt feel heavy at all so it is quite easy on tummy.(I would like to believe that :p )
Parking is an issue so we went there on a sunday morning. (Else would prefer metro)
This outlet is part of 22 Places To Try In Old Delhi, So decided to go there on my visit to Chawari Bazaar , Its located on the road going towards Jama Masjid from Chawari Bazaar Metro ,
I tried Bundi laddu and Samosa which was very tasty .There are still many things to be tried ,but its really very difficult to try everything if you are on food tour ,Have heard there Nagori Halwa and Bedmi Puri is good too ,will definitely try next time .
Old but awesome place to eat street food. Had an amazing time in the morning tasty food.Didn't try their sweets. Had some kachori and my favorite lassi.
One of the better places in this area
There is no place to sit. However, can stand and eat. There are some tables in front of there shops. And must try their bedmi puri with lassi.. 😋
We decided for a chawri Bazar breakfast walk on a Sunday and after consulting with a couple of people came to a conclusion that it would be in complete if we we don't visit Shyam sweets. We tried Bedmi Poori , chaney, aloo Puri and nagaoriHalwa ,Namkeen lassi, badaam milk to name a few and everything was just about perfect . It also reminded me of my recent trip to Lucknow as the concept was pretty much the same but every place has it's own charm :)
Winter mornings and desi breakfast?
You would love this place specially in winters and the best part is it opens early morning. In such a messy n filthy roads you will find this very old, clean shop with lots of people coming up with their family specially for Bedmi Poori n Nagori, Halwa. I liked Nagori more. It was crispy served with desi ghee halwa. Loved the combination..Try it out if u r heading towards Chawri Bazaar
You would find this place reviewed by many foodies , youtubers and foreigners alike. It serves nagodi halwa which is a unique speciality of old delhi. Better reach by 12.30 pm max else you may find its exhausted. I am not a bedmi poori person so didnt like it that much. I felt aloo sabzi was better than chole. But nagodi was quite good. Better to ask for more fluffy ones for a better experience.
Best place for kachori (कचौड़ी) lovers in old delhi Area.
They are serving mast matar kachori in town.
Best part is that ,you can order online from this restaurant Via zomato app.
Must try :
Matar kachori
Nagori halwa
Kalakand
#SnacksBite #WeekendVenue
We have not tried their sweets cz we come here with the aim to eat their BEST!
Go for bedmi poori with aalo ki sabzi and choley and Nagori halwa.
Bedmi poori is crunchy & tasty poori which taste best with choley.
Nagori halwa is something that I get to eat here only and is served with some bland poori and trust me, the taste of it doubles when you eat with this bland poori.
Must have- both the things, best time to come here is by 9:30-10 am.
It's always been fun to visit this place. One of the best place to have your morning breakfast. They have amazing bedmi puri and Nagori Halwa. A bit issue was with the chum chum we tried it can be made more better. Overall if you are here only for breakfast you will love it😍😋
Good place to have Bedmi Poori, one can see it's live preparation besides the main shop. Lots of sweets to taste here (please refer my pictures).
One can get the food and sweets packed as well from here. Think, they don't do home delivery.
Shyam sweets is a small shop in front of Nai Sarak in chawri bazaar, which is serving delicious North Indian snacks and sweets from early 20th century. Though the shop has changed a few times in more than 100 years of existence, they have retained something that was worth it and that was their taste. Still you can get the most amazing Kachori alooo sabzi, samosas and the most famous nagori aloo with halva. If you’re there in winter you should must try their moong daal halva which is so tasty and melt in mouth. Also their lassi is full of malai and good stuff, it’s thick and makes your visit worthwhile.
Wow, what a treat !!! Heavenly combination of the kachori and the Nagori halwas to go along with the amazing potato curry !!! A must visit for all people who wish to grab a delightful brunch anytime !!!
It was an amazingly yummy visit to this place. Tried many things from here and everything tasted absolutely delicious except the potato curry provided with the poori.
The lassi from here is to die for. Really loved the taste its 5/5
The moong Dal halwa and pakoras were another treat to the taste buds
The paan mithai was yummy too.
I loved my visit here. The prices are fine as well.
Do visit here if you are here

VERDICT: * * GREAT BREAKFAST SPOT * *
This no-seating, eat outside shop is so popular around breakfast time that it becomes easy to spot; also it is walking distance from the Chawri Bazaar Metro Station. The food is oh-so-awesome, the specialties definitely being BEDMI (for those who don't know, it is sort of a puri) paired with the classic ALOO SABZI, which is definitely on the spicier side of things. This should be followed by NAGORI (again, like smallish puri but very very crisp) paired with Suji HALWA. Combined together, both these dishes become a match made in heaven. The matar kachoris I had were okay; nothing too special.
P.S. The Old Delhi area sure has a lot of 'Must-have in Delhi' spots, and this one undoubtedly makes that list, specially for breakfast.
Really a good place for breakfast. They serve great varieties of food. Have tried their Bedmi Puri with Aloo ki sabzi which is heavenly. The Matar kachori is good too. Nagori Halwa is my favourite. You need to checkout this place :)
A legendary outlet in Chawri Bazaar and most popular for its breakfast dishes like bedmi poori and Nagori halwa . Lassi is also great . Best time to visit is in the morning with your foodie gang
Its a very crowded place which serves amazing Bedmi Puri , Nagori Halwa and other stuffs. After getting recommended by many , tried them for the very first time and loved it.
Bedmi Puri w/ Aloo (5/5)
Dal Kachori (4/5)
Matar Kachori (4.5/5)
Nagori Halwa (4/5)
Lassi (5/5)
-Aloo ki sabzi is amazing
-Rates are pocket friendly
-Seating not available; Stand & Eat
-Friendly staff & Good Service
Situated on the T point of Nai sarak and Chawri bazaar metro station road , the place is a easy find . The place offers all kinds of sweets (for obvious reasons) but also breakfast options to . The prices of the sweets are according to the market price but the breakfast options are quite cheap . There are no sitting arrangement at the place .
Old Delhi has been famous for its food ever since. We were in Chawri Bazar and had delicious breakfast at Shyam Sweets. We tried special desi bedmi and matar kachori ( both served with aloo ki sabzi). No doubt the taste was amazing but the quantity could have been better.
Nearest metro station: chawri bazar
As the winters have arrived already, we couldn't keep ourselves from going all the way to Old Delhi to try the famous sweet savory breakfast of Badmi Puri and nagori halwa.
Shyam sweets is one of the famous old shops in Delhi. It is at 10 minutes walking distance from Chawri Bazar metro station. It is mainly a takeaway outlet, however a couple of tables and ample standing space is present there.
It was the first time that I tried the nagori halwa. Nagori turned out to be a small puri which is made with suji and ghee. It was served with aloo sabzi and kesar suji halwa also cooked in ghee. Nagori was quite crispy in taste, and felt extremely good with the combination served. The halwa had the righ amount of sweetness which I thoroughly enjoyed. They were both delicious and totally recommended.
Bedmi Puri was prepared from wheat flour and urad dal. It was also served with aloo sabzi and carrot pickles. The taste of bedmi puri was heavenly, simply the best I have ever had. But the aloo sabzi was too oily and it was difficult to finish.
For one plate nagori-halwa and bedmi puri, it costed us 110 rupees combinedly. Both the delicacies didn't fail to impress. Also, the staff was very kind and the meal was served quite hygeinically and swiftly.
Legendary place for nagori halawa, with poori Aalo sabzi.
Sweets and other dishes are phenomenal.
Must visit place for super good food and delicacies.
Very old shop in chawri bazar. Famous for it's nagori halwa.
Nagori halwa- suji Puri served with halwa. Very delicious and one should try this at least one.
Bedmi puri - they are the best . Crisy Puri served with spicy aloo subzi with kaddu ke subzi. Best in Delhi.
Must visit place
In this Overcrowded and the oldest market Chawri Bazar, we finally landed to this Shyam sweets.
Shop is bit small but the food and the quantity is good.
Eating area is standing over there and hygiene is maintained.
This place is famous for Lassi and Aloo sabzi with Kachori.
I went with my family and we ordered: Aloo ki sabzi with Kachori, Aloo ka Samosa, Sweet Lassi and Dhokla
All items were Delicious 😍
Great experience it was !!
A perfect place for typical old delhi breakfast. This place is famous for it's bedmi poori. So after doing my R&D went to this place early in the morning for breakfast.
What we ordered: Bedmi Poori with aloo ki sabzi and sweet kulhad lassi. Everything was so perfect. Poori was perfectly crisp and so was the lassi.
Must recommended.
Cost for 2 - 200/-
Finally landed at this place after lots of reviews and recommendations. Located at a walking distance from the Chawri Bazar Metro station. This place is one of the best places to have the breakfast in the town. They serve bedmi poori with spicy aloo ki sabzi along with sitafal sabzi and pickles.
The best time to visit this place is during the early morning hours to try their famous Nagori Halwa and poori.
I have tried.
1. Bedmi Poori (4.7/5)
Crisp bedmi pooris served with Aloo tamatar ki sabzi and complimentary sweet and bit spicy sitafal ki sabzi.
2. Nagori Halwa with Poori (4.5/5)
Served with tendered and very soft nagori halwa with crisp freshly made pooris and sabzi. Nagori halwa is a must try there.
3. Lassi (5/5)
Thick lassi topped with malai. Must to have with the breakfast to give it a perfect end.
If you're in Chawri Bazar in the morning, this place is a must try. Fill your tummy with heavy and delicious breakfast.
Today I have Visited this place in the crowded market of chawri bazar. Eating area (standing) and packing are available here. This place is crowded and famous for BEDAMI POORI SUBJI and lassi. I have tried it and find it really tasty. The size of poori is average or less than that of normal BEDAMI poori but tastes good. Their SUBJI (two of them they offer in plate with veggie pickle, aaloo and sweet sitafal) is really good. Lassi is offered in a clay glass and tasted great. Overall good it was.

An old famous eatery, renowned for breakfast of poori chole, alu poori, nagori halwa being a rage.. It's one of the tastiest halwa.. Served with papri kind of crisp..
Sweets are well made.. Lassi is super sweet so available for those who prefer milder flavours.. All in all a good experience.. No sitting, approachable by car or on on foot. Sunday being a good day to visit..
