Sagar Ratna has definitely upped their game with the interior decor of this place. Forget about the standard Sagar Ratna image one has, this place has a whole new vibe! The food is stellar as always. The staff is super friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this place to friends, family and tourists.
If you are in Connaught Place and hungry. Wants to eat tasty but not heavy food. Also quick service and generally no waiting then SAGAR RATNA at Janpath is THE PLACE. They have north and South Indian cuisines also have Chinese. Lot of jain dishes are available. They have lot of different items to offer as compared to other their outlets
If you are looking for a place that is family friendly, has a diverse vegetarian menu, has an elegant ambiance, then Safar Ratna in CP is the best place.
I visited this place with my friends. We ordered apam, masala dosa, paneer chilly gravy, veg pulao, and filter coffee. All these things were delicious.
Wonderful experience, overall. There's Sarvana Bhawan situated just next door, which always seem to have a waiting time upwards of 20 minutes! We decided to go to Sagar Ratna instead, since I've anyways always loved the food here, the service is mostly excellent and the vibe of their outlets is good as well.
And we were NOT disappointed. We ordered for plain idlies, mixed idilies (forgot the exact name of the dish), and a ghee roasted garlic plain dosa, and oh my God; the food brought back so many fond memories of Sagar Ratna!
Loved the food, the staff was really nice as well and inspite of being a Sunday evening, they were busy, but ofcourse. But, even then, they served us with whatever we requested, with a smile. ❤️👌
Lovely experience indeed.
While on a Delhi tour and having been stuck with North Indian food for 3 days straight, finding South Indian dishes that tasted like South Indian was a delightful relief. Would recommend!
Very good food, and excellent service.
The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean and enjoyable.
A must visit place for foodies.
I had a South Indian thali , bisibele bhaat and madrasi buttermilk. The whole meal was amazingly sumptuous and fulfilling.
Quick service and very polite staff. Loved everything about this place. A must visit restaurant. Pricing is also fair.
Have tried multiple options here... South Indian items are very good... lot of people take the South Indian thali. North Indian items are ordinary wrt pricing.
Recommend Chettinad Dosa and Dahi vada... Both the items were very good.
Prices are on a bit higher side.
Also, portion size of North Indian items is disappointing
I wasn't expecting this restaurant to open at 7 am!! On my last visit to Delhi I was struggling to get a good hotel which opens this early for food.
Food quality - Scrumptious food with a variety of options from North to South Indian dishes. The quality of food was good and hygienic.
This place offers different kinds of sweets.
Prices - I spent around Rs. 400 per person. Felt it was a little expensive but the food was worth
Washrooms - You can expect clean and hygienic washrooms here. Difficult to find such clean washrooms when you are traveler
Atmosphere - Ambience is good and reflects Indian architecture
Parking - Parking is available but paid
The ambiance of this place is better than other South Indian restaurants nearby.
The staff is professional and quick in responding.
The best part is that waiting time after ordering food is very less.
This newly opened Sagar Ratna outlet is located on Janpath Road.
