Went to this place with some of my friends. It's located inside Bango Bhawan. Nice clean ambience and courteous staff.
Food-
1. Ordered Fish Fry (Betki) - Good quantity and taste.
2. Veg Cutlet - Good Quantity and taste.
3. Chingri Masala - Good 6 King Size prawns with nice masala gravy. P.S. Don't order the Chingri Daab
4. Chicken Masala and Mutton Kassa - Amazing Taste.

Overall, the taste and quantity were superb. Good for a family outing. But I think some items like the Prawn Masala and Betki Fry were priced at the higher side.

Amazing food, I am a foodie, legit this is the best place for any seafood and all food is fresh and good. Meat items are soft and really amazing. Will definitely recommend the food more than even oberoi s or any 5 star. The seating area isn’t fancy but the food is amazing.

We ordered the following with ratings for each:-

Special bengali thali -3.5 ( consisted of moong dal , mutton kasha , potato fritters, mustard fish wrapped in a banana leaf, papad ,plain rice and ghee bhaat/rice . A special mention to the chutney and mishti doi(sweet curd) .. that doi/dhai was just by itself a 5 star desert )

Finding authentic Bengali food is a treasure hunt in Noida, so every time I crave for homely Bengali food, this is my go-to place. The wide variety of dishes is like a never-ending treat for a Bong foodie like me! I have been here multiple times, and I wish I could try everything on their menu.

Among starters, Fish FInger is a must-try. It is crunchy on the outside and juicy inside - perfectly fried! They serve it with authentic kasundi, which hits you hard with its tartness and tangy taste. But then that is what kasundi is supposed to do!

What I like the most is their Special Bengali Thali. I am a big fan of its Mutton Kasha - perfectly cooked succulent mutton pieces doused in a spicy gravy that reminds me of Sunday lunches back home. The aalu bhaja and moong dal have that typical Bengali flavor. However, the Bhetki Paturi tasted a bit bland and dry.

Another stand-out dish is their Luchi-Chholar Dal. A good old Bengali chholar dal has a hint of sweetness in it, and Bijoli Grill gets brownie points for getting that right. The Chicken Bharta has the right blend of spices and richness. I loved the fact that it is garnished with an egg - one significant ingredient that many restaurants (even in Kolkata) miss.

So, if you want authentic Kolkata-style Bengali cuisine in Delhi, this is where you should arrive.

Based on what my Bengali colleagues have treated me with , this place offered similar homestyle meals. The food seemed authentic and light to eat. The menu has good variety to offer and the staff offers nice suggestions based on your preference. There is light Bengali music playing at the background while you enjoy the local delicacies.

BIJOLI GRIL has its own legacy and this place proves it!

We have been to this place for a couple of times and enjoy the food through and through. Past year, they renovated the place and upgraded the interiors to make this place stand at par any upscale restaurant. Seating capacity is somewhat limited, so either reserve a table to visit on weekdays.
Food wise, it has been a pleasure. the must-have's are Luchi-Kosha Mangsho, Bhetki Macher Paturi, Fish Fry, Daab Chingri, Fish Kobiraji, Mishti Doi, Chana'r Jilipi.

I am particularly fond of their courteous staff. We have had some incidents during our lunch once, but their Manager as well as Head Chef made sure that we enjoyed our meal subsequently. I visited with my 5 month old baby, and they made special arrangements for me so that I could breastfeed her. Reasons like these make a place special! Thanks Team Bijoli Grill

, Daan chingri, Bhetki jhal, rice.

Fresh lime soda - as useal good.
Daan chingri also good in taste.
Bhetki jhal - nice dish, strong mustard taste sometimes feel bitter un taste.

Good food for the day.

Food heaven for Bengali people in Delhi where Bengali cuisine is not very readily available.
I ordered the Potol er Dorma, Kosha Mangsho, Radha Bolobi aar Aaloo r Dom, Egg Fried Rice and Dokhar Daalna.😋
Kosha Mangsho is strongly recommended for every non vegetarian, believe me you will love it even if you hated mutton before.
The other dish that I absolutely loved was the potol er dorma and I don't even eat Potol, it was that amazing. ❤️😃

This place is very close to my heart, being away from my hometown, and being a bong, it has always been my go to place for having maach bhaat(fish curry and rice). The ambience is average but who bothers about the ambience when they have excellent food. I love the rou maach kalia here, the fish kabiraji, fish orley, and maangsho kosha being my absolute favourite, i have also had patishapta from thier delhi haat outlet, payesh, and roshogulla. I would never believe if anyone ever has a bad experience in terms of food here, the warmth of this place is something i completely admire, if you want to be safe and u do want to have a mind blowing experience stick to ordering authentic bengali food from here. Try having the special bengali thali 100/100 ❤️

Was craving for some authentic Bengali cuisine since a very long time. Visted bijoli grill with my family on a Sunday afternoon for a massive lunch.
We ordered -

1. Non veg Thali- mutton curry, fish, dal, also, pulao and paish(kheer)
2. Mutton kosha and luchi ( mutton curry with Puri)
3. Daab chingri( prawns cooked in coconut, a must have!)
4. Dhokar Dana
5. Chittol fish
6. Mishti doi
7. Aam pora sarbat( amm panna, a must have!)

Being a Bengali, and having tasted these dishes at other places also, I was pretty happy with our decision to come here. Food was delicious! Quantity is huge, one thali is good enough for 2 people. Service was great. The ambience can be improved. Prices are on the higher side. Had a great afternoon here.

Attended the poila boishaak lunch buffet today. The starters were delectable though a little oily. The fish orley was an absolute favorite. The main course looks great. The chingri malai curry, chicken duckbanglow, were finger licking good. The staff was also polite and had a smile in their face. They were working really hard to cater to the huge no of customers who had turned up. Amazing experience. Would like to visit again.

This place is amazing!
I went there on a Sunday evening with my 3 friends. Since, we're bengalis and away from home, this place was a treat for us. We were craving some home made authentic bengali food for a long time and this place had all that what we wanted.
We ordered the chicken and mutton thali with aloo posto. Everything was on point. The thali had white rice, pulao, bhetki macher paturi, kheer, yellow daal, chutney, papad, crispy potato fries alongside mutton and chicken respectively. Besides the great food and a soothing ambience the service was very very pleasing and humble. While coming out of the restaurant i ensured to tell all the service men they're doing a great job and offered great service with great food. Must visit for Bongs and Non-Bongs if they want to try some great bengali cuisine. I wanted to have the 'nolen gurer roshogolla' but i was so full and i couldn't have it.
All in all a great experience.

The taste of chkn dakbunglow was outstanding, full of flavours and amazingly delicious. Chicken lovers will enjoy this dish. Luchis were perfect. Fish fry was a bit bland and needs a lil work on the recipe.
Nolen gur rosogulla was bang on taste. Just the right note to end am amazing meal. Husband and I have decided to be regulars here ☺☺
Oh most important.. It's perfect value for money too. Our bill was under RS 1000...

Do try kasha mangsho with luchi, it's my favourite and most people love it. We were four people and ordered 7 dishes(I was famished so didn't have the patience to click pictures!) and 4 drinks and the bill was about 2500/- so it's reasonably priced. Came back after a few months to this regular haunt of mine to find it completely renovated.
New central air conditioning has replaced the loud window AC units and windows are now clean allowing in light.
Food here is the next best thing to being in Kolkata. The Fish Kabiraji is my eternal favourite for a started and they make it too perfection at Bijoli Grill maintaining the taste but very little oil.
Special Bengali Thali includes all the specialities of Bengali like steamed fish in mustard sauce and soft to the bone mutton as well vegetarian options.
The place is run very efficiently by Mr Midda (Manager) and the waiters are all well trained and prompt to action.

The overall review is mixed  for the restaurant.:

The Cons:
- there were some issues early on with respect to table and seating arrangements.
- the food took time to prepare ( around 20 min)

The Pros:
- The food was FRESH , thats why it took time. So its better that when you book the table, you call the restaurant 5-10 minutes ahead if possible , to get the preparations ready, specially if you are famished.
- We had Daab Chingri( Shrimp with Coconut Curry ), Chicken Dak Banglo ( a spicy Chicken Curry ), Dhakai Naan , Rice, Mishti Doi ( Sweet Curd ). The taste was fantastic
- Service was above average in the restaurant

I reached this place sniffing a strong aroma of mustard around. It's located away from the chaos of CP and yet not very far. For starters we had fish fry which was excellently marinated. We also ordered Chicken Kabiraji, though it had a lot of oil not to my liking.
For mains we ordered the special Bengali Thali which was equivalent to mini Bengal on my plate. There was dal, chutney, Kosha Mangsho, Bhetki Paturi, rice and sweet rice along with some traditional fries. Everything, especially Bhetki Paturi was a class apart and will stay with me for long. We finally ended our meal with the divine Mishti Doi. I will strongly recommend this place for people wanting to explore Bengali cuisine. Bon appetit! :)

Located near Ugrasen ki Bawli, it was one of the last state canteens that I had not visited. Went with office friends for lunch, we had to wait for 30 minutes for table. We ordered Foolkopir cutlet, paneer masala, fish finger and prawn butter masala. Every item was absolutely delicious and wait was worth it.
Fish fingers were not heavily-salted and were succulent.
Prawn butter masala had enough prawn pieces and it was tender and soft.
Foolkopir cutlets were nice.

Definitely a good place if you are craving sea-food.

Bengali dishes are really authentic and they charge reasonably. We ordered a couple of items off the menu For starters we got the fish fry and hing kochuri with Cholar daal the items were freshly made and tasted good but the hing kochuri lacked a bit of the kick from “hing”. Then we ordered the bashonti polao and Daak bungalow mutton. The mutton was tender and juicy, fresh to taste and the curry sauce was delicious. To my surprise the mutton curry had 6 decent pieces of mutton and a whole egg as well. The bashonti pulao is a must have. It had a great balance of sweet and salty and overall satiated our late afternoon hunger. We also ordered the Aam poda shorbot and that was refreshing as well The serving of the rice and mutton after the starters were more than enough for 3 people Overall a it great meal with good service Weekends are a little busy so you might have to wait for a table for about 20 mins but the food is definitely worth the wait.

The restaurant is located in the Bongo Bhavan's 1st floor and has two sections one for outside visitors and others for Residents. It has great ambience and food service is also very very fast and typical taste of West Bengals authentic cuisine. They serve both VEG/Non-Veg. Fish 🐟 finger/fish 🍗 fry of vetaki is wonderful.
