I have heard a lot about parathe wali gali and i was plaining frm long time to visit this place and finally visited here last Sunday.
Yes they have huge variety of paratha in menu. Taste was average and price is also quite expensive.

I had paneer and rabri paratha of here
Panner paratha 3.0
Rabri paratha 4.0
This place is overpriced
You have to pick 2 parathas and that is mandatory.
This shop is estd in 1875 and this shop is famous in paratha gali(chandani chowk) tried a gobi paratha with allu sabzi and chutney its tatse is good and sitting arrangement is good and the beheaviour of staff memebers is friendly and the price of food menu is affordable.
This place is iconic for a reason!! Right from the lassi to the ohh so yummy paranthas... This place will make you want to come here again .
One parantha thali is good enough for one person and it's a wholesome meal with chutney, achar, salad, and sabji to go with it
I would give this one a big Yay!
One of the shops in the famous Paranthe wali gali. Do try the rabri paratha & mirchi paratha. Though overpriced but tastes good. Crowded all the time
The place is very famous in delhi and i tried it out and it was simply super awesome. It has a wide variety of paranthas and all are super delicious.
I was unaware of parathas being deep fried.. well an opportunity to not miss famous parathe wali gully and this place is to mark in giving you the nostalgia moment..
had carrot, mirchi, khurchan, paneer & gobi paratha.. an absolute fab. in taste!
a definite try over here \m/
Worth trying! The best Paranthas you'll every get! Though it's crowdy but their Paranthas are totally unique, it's not that usual paratha! Their parathas are deep fried so it's crisp and also the stuffings are different! You have so many options for stuffings besides the regular aloo, pyaz!
Papad parantha is a must try.
The other place which claims itself to be serving authentic Paranthe Wali Gali's Paranthe.
The taste of the Paranthes are is good but the only issue is that the flavour comes due to deep frying the Paranthes and that is why it doesn't remaining healthy enough.
People who love Paranthes can definitely try from this outlet in Chandni Chowk.
Stopped in for breakfast . Food was very good specially parathe and it was in reasonably priced. Staff servies is so good and ambience also. I will recommend to come here.
Ambience -4/5
Taste - 4.5/5
Into the streets of the chandni chowk, the food magicians resides. The taste you can never forget. The parathas so different and tasty you'll urge to come back here again and have it. Inspite of being a little overpriced, the place carries on the taste of the old generation.
The taste of parathe wali gali which remains all season . Had these parthas in winters with my gang. Served with chutney and aloo sabji which are yum in tastes. You can't resist eating minimum 4 parathas.
Me and my friends visited there in search of tasty parathas.
We tried their rabri, mirchi, aalo and paneer parathass, all of them were good, reasonable and they have quick service...!!
This one is the best place for paranthas in paranthe wale gali. Other places also serve good quality paranthas but they are no match for this place. They provide lassi on order from other shops at your table, even when they don't make it on their own. Staff is really polite and friendly. Meals also don't cost too much

I found this place quite interesting because they provide different types of Paranthas in the famous street of Chandni Chowk Paranthe Wali Gali. I have tried mix and rabri parantha. Mix parantha is okay for me but I found rabri parantha very delicious and very different at the same time. 4 out 5 just for rabri parantha.
It's one of the most famous and oldest place of paranthe wali gali, where many celebrities have visited as well. Their service is pretty fast and for a fried parantha, the parantha doesn't have oil all over it. The paranthas were well made, and tasted pretty good with the sabzi they serve. I ordered paneer parantha and gobi parantha, out of which paneer parantha was my preference and is my recommendation as well.
17th April, Wednesday
The first stop at the epic foodwalk was this place right on the corner of the gali. The guy in front was very aggressive in selling ihis place, and so we're the owners for their profit, by having a policy if ordering 2 parathas per plate, thus securing about 140-150 bucks per plate.
They had a lot of varities, and we ordered for a Lemon paratha and Green Pea Paratha. Both were very good. The thali had Green Chutney, Banana Chutney, Aloo Matar Subji, Kaddu Subji and pickle. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend.1 time visit!
The place patronage their presence in parathe wali gali since 1875 and most prolly the oldest shop still in presence.
They serve different kinds of parathas which are fried in ghee and served with pumpki, imli chutney which tastes really lip smacking, and aloo ki sabji.
The parathas are really crispy on the outside with good filling on the inside. The host is very nice and guided us well with other food to try in the area. Definitely try this place to try some offbeat parathas from karela(bottle guard) paratha to kishmish(raisin) paratha.
Do visit when in Delhi.

Paranthas are famous as much as this place is famous. Food hopping is fun when you visit a place that can give you the desired taste.
This place is famous for its various/endless kinds of paranthas that you wish to have. They have the sides that is required for you to dip you paranthas for better taste.
The only thing that's unfair is that 'they have the policy of ordering two paranthas minimum' which is odd yet a market strategy to make profit. Other than the size and policy, everything is perfect for a go-to-go meal for a day while shopping. Also, they make everything in 'pure desi ghee' so health wise you can sacrifice once to get a better taste in your life.
Haven't yet visited paranthe-wali-gali then what are you waiting for?! Hurry up and taste the difference in the paranthas with matka-lassi by your side 👍
Thank you!
A satisfied customer:)
It serves the Mashoor paranthe and the most authentic shop in paranthe waali gully. The food is good served with different chutneys and veggies. Apparently they have wall filled with stickers and notice boards for rules and regulations of the place which is quite fascinating.
Good parathas served with aloo ki sabji, petha and sweet banana chutney. They have a lot of paratha options with different vegetable fillings. I have tried their tomato paratha, mirchi paratha, gobi paratha. All the parathas were good in taste also the gravy was tasty. If you going to this place in large group then you might have to share the table as the seating space is limited.
Best place in paranthe Wali Gali
The space is bit less but they serve all varieties of paratha like bhindi and many more.
If you're in chandni chowk then do visit this place in Kinara Bazaar.
This place is amazing. Paranthas of this place are very yummy and delicious. Variety of paranthas are very much. I have eaten cashew and green chili parantha with sweet lassi.
The much celebrated, age old shop in Chandni Chowk. The shop shows its legacy in pictures. From Film stars- Ranbir, Imtiaz Ali to the master chefs.
Had Rabri paratha and heavens, that was too too delicious. Loved the khoya paratha also.
The catch is you can't order one item as single, need to take two so the price listed against each item is only for the single piece and you will ultimately be paying the double of it.
This place located in Parathe Wali Gali, Chandni Chowk serves some unique parathas which are deep fried ones.
This place offers a variety of parathas.
While paying a visit to this place, one must ask for the Rabri Paratha.
Not to forget, do end the meal with an amazing and a sweet Kulhad lassi topped with loads of malai (cream) and makkhan (butter).
* They serve fried parathas n not the usual ones !
* They have a unique menu of parathas. My favorite is pudina n banana paratha.
* Badam and dal paratha are average.
* For dessert, you can try rabdi paratha.
* Parathas are served with petha, aloo ki gravy vali sabji n some chutneys.
* It's a small restaurant with some tables n benches.
* 5-15 minutes waiting time.
* Extremely pocket friendly place.
I loved there paraths❤❤ the difference between ordinary paratha and their paraths is that after doing filling they fry their paraths in hot oil for few minutes and they serve it with two different types of chatni which involve gur ki chatni and corriander. Also they give two different types of sabji which is equally awesome to their paraths. Each paratha cost you 90 rupees it's a bit pricey but it worth it.They have like 30-40 varieties of paraths including rabdi paratha and pudina parath. I tried there Allo parath and mix vegetables paratha both was yummm.overall I had a good experience there n will visit again if I get a chance
Have been going to this place for years but only during the winter months.
Hasn’t changed a bit over the years except for a tweak in the prices, food taste and quality remains the same and is best combined with lassi ordered from the shop just opposite this store.
Lots of types of paranthas are available so pick and choose and be merry.
Well every shop in parathe wale galli serves yummy and tasty variety of parathas. Tried papad paratha 😋😋😋, gajar partha , koya partha , matar paratha and mix partha . They serve it with sabzi and variety of chutney . 😋😋
Are you even a true Delhite if you haven't walked down the lanes of Paranthe Wali Gali in Chandni Chowk and tried their deep fried paranthas. I hear some of y'all gagging at the idea of deep fried paranthas like some of my family members but again as I say that it is an amazing option to eat once in a while. Definitely not healthy but the taste is worth ruining your diet for. As for this particular restaurant, this is the oldest one in the lane and hasn't lost the taste over the years. I usually have the paneer and aloo each (they serve 2 in one plate) and I come back atleast once every 2 months to eat here to break out of our olive oil less oily usual home routine ✌🏻
Well one of the oldest paranthe Wale ofcourse in chandni chowk and known to serve with best Rabri ke Paranthe in town .
Well the minimum thali you need to buy for is of 2 parathas plus curry ofcourse and the Rabri paratha was so amazing and just the right amount of sweet included in it that made it lip smacking.
You must try the Rabri paratha here once.
The time you enter these over crowded small small pathsways .. you can yourself telk what which path is this ... thise parantha fragrance can easli tell yoj that you are in paranthe vaali gali in chandni chowk

Now when we visit this place PARANTHE WAALI GALI in CHANDNI CHOWK .
It’s hard to resist the whiff of hot oil and the aroma of sputtering spices. The air is filled with high-pitched shouts of shop owners and chaos from the busy streets.
.

.
There are shops which serves these fully and completely deep fried paranthas in desi ghee with 2 typs of cooked vegetables and meethi chutney ... .

My senses scream but my lips curl into a smile, unknowingly. There’s no reason to stop for parathas at this point but it’s clearly not an opportunity to miss. I have no choice but to give in to the temptation.

i ordered a few types of paranthas from this place in the paranthe wali gali....the gobhi parantha was nice and crisp and not overly laden with gobhi....
the next two are my fav paranthas namely the khurchan parantha and the rabri parantha....they just need to use less kishmish ....otherwise they tasted divine....
Nice paratha shop in Paratha wali gali in Chandni Chock Delhi. I and my friends visited this place and we had eat parathas it was delicious.and it was a good experience mostly when I met the cute personality that sits in front of me. I wish I visit this place again.
Awesome taste and pretty crunchy parathas with various varieties. I like the rabadi parantha and dal aaloo special one those are must eat one by this shop.
Their pranthas.. Oh My God!!
My mouth still remember the taste of every single prantha we had.
Tried their Mirchi Prantha, Methi Prantha, Khoya/Mawa Prantha, Papad Prantha and we were full 😛😀. But the craving was not satisfied.
Will go back again & again to try all from the menu. 😁
Estd in 1875 its unbelievable. This joint is located at the very famous Paranthe wali Gali in Chandni Chowk. Always a busy place so plan your visit here with good time in hand.
Finding a place for vehicle parking here is a difficult task.
Been here during lunch hour on a Sunday.
Was surprised to see photographs of celebrities which were taken during their visit to this restaurant. This included Ranbir Kapoor and Chef Vikas Khanna.
A good variety in Parantha is offered on menu. Had ordered a Paneer Parantha and Sweet Lassi. Parantha is served with chutney pickle and potato curry.
Food 4 out of 5
Ambience 2.5 out of 5

Enjoyed my lunch here on a rainy day.
Went to this place for breakfast and we ordered Alu parantha paneer parantha and Rabri parantha. The aloo parantha was a bit disappointing the paneer parantha was good but the Rabri parantha was killer. The Rabri parantha was stuffed with chilled Rabri and then it was fried. The Rabri parantha is a must try.
If r in Delhi and u not tatse the paratha of paratha wali gali that means u not foody . Paratha with layered of desi ghee fry well with lots of choice u have dhaniya ,pudina , kaju , badam , paneer , ghobhi price also only 70 per paratha we eats different parathas today n now feel good so I suggest you when u r in chandni chowk must come #pt.kanhaiyalal paratha on paratha wali gali
It was a quick visit to this place. We ordered nimbu paratha and mix veg paratha.
Nimbu paratha was the best. Alot tangy and treat to taste buds.
Mix veg paratha was like any other paratha.
The Parathas here are prepared by deep frying them in pure desi ghee. So diet conscious people will definitely feel guilt. 😂
The very famous kanhaiyalal paratha place is a must place to visit when in Delhi.
It isn't that hygienic but the taste is very fine.
The parathas here are fried in Desi ghee which brings out the best of parathas that is the reason it's considered as a paradise of paratha.
We had.

Nothing could be better than old lanes of Delhi.
Over crowded but still carries a vibe in it.
And whenever I have to go here, I can’t miss this place and have parathas.
There are many places like this one but u don’t know this one stops me.
I had mixed, gobhi and cheese paratha.
Must try other varieties too.
My personal recommendation to all the foodies.

Must Have - Green Chilly Paratha / Aaloo Paratha / Lemon Paratha /Bhindi Paratha and Rabdi Paratha
This place is a heritage hangout of Delhi and been sitting here since years being amongst the oldest joints in delhi serving some exotic mix of paratha . The place is slightly difficult to navigate to but very close from the metro station and a 15 min walk from Jama Masjid .
Your welcome by a plate of sabji and at first its a must to order two paratha .
GREEN CHILLY PARATHA - was my personal favourite and the rest mix are just great to try . If you a regular at eating paratha you deffinitely will appreciate the great mix of new paratha you can give taste to your pallet with . Overall the place is a must .
CELEBRITY CRAZY - Dont miss to notice the photographs of celebrities on their walls from bollywood to politics who have come to this place to enjoy their great taste and cost friendly prices .
I and my kids went on a Sunday evening. the parathas which we opted for were paneer, besn methi and daal. The service was prompt . To top off had lassi. the food was divine
My first visit to Paranthe waali gali and we landed at this place. It was hell of a crowded place due to its popularity and we barely managed to get a seat.
We ordered Paneer Parantha and Rabdi Parantha and it is compulsory to order minimum two paranthas here. Rabdi parantha was pure bliss , the rabdi oozing out like cheese and paneer parantha was also awesome, served with aloo and kaddu ki sabji & pickles.
Highly recommended

This was my first time at the 'Paranthe Wali Gali', as local people call it.
stuffed parathas which were a southern style in desi ghee and served them with the same sabzis like aloo-methi, Kele-sonth ki chutney, and kaddu ki sabzi.
Paranthe paranthe paranthe. Which parantha you like. You can get any choice of parantha. This place is icon for parantha in delhi. I love this
This lane is very well known around the globe Pranthe Wali Gali, Chandi Chowk located opposite to the exit of chandi chowk metro station main road.
Once you move inside the lane you will see 4-5 shops that too very old selling this dish.
So I visited this place with my frnd & ordered Mix Veg & Paneer Prantha.
It comes in a full plate with 2 different types of veggie , salad n chutney n pickle.
Taste is good & quality is also enough for one person.
Place is normally crowded during weekend.
Price is also normal nothing too high. Pocket price.
There is ample sitting space also.
Overall this place is good.
Pranthe wali gali is declared a heritage site, alas there is nothing much to show in terms of sprucing up the area except a sign board has been put up.
You get variety of deep fried pranthas including sweet pranthas. We tried aloo, gobi, muli and banana fillings. The pranthas were served with two types of aloo ki sabzi, kaddu ki subzi and pickles. Taste was very good, banana pranthas were sweet and filled with cream as well. Hygiene need to be ignored if you want relish this place.
Came to this place especially for parathas to explore in parathe wali gali. Liked the food here. Authentic lip smacking parathas are yummilicious.
The food here is really delicious and served hot. It would generally be a crowded place. They have got a really less space due to which there would be chances that you may need to wait for your turn to enter into this outlet. But all the wait will be worth it.
Paranthas which are fried in ghee looks like puri but tastes like parantha is served with different types of chutney, achar and sabzi.
The banana sounth chutney (tamarind chutney and bananas) is really amazing and aloo matar goes really well with the paranthas and each and every chutney and sabzi gives different taste to paranthas.
The place has variety of sweet paranthas for the people who are really fond of sweet... A must visit place and the whole parantha gali serves vegetarian food even without onion and garlic.

Finally, a much awaited visit to the parathe wali gulli in Old Delhi. We had the option of choosing between Gaya prasad and this place. This outlet is bigger with two shops next to each other and was more crowded. So Kanahiyalal it was.
Decor is nothing to talk about. Cleaniness is decent. Tables are shared and staff is curt and to the point. But then you don't expect much here other than the food, right? And boy, did the food deliver! They have extensive varieties of parathas. Now paratha is a loose term here. Cos what you really get is medium sized kachoris stuffed with some really decadent stuff. Their size is small enough to let you try several varieties. And a moderate eater can easily have 2-3 of them. The plate that they serve even before the paratha comes will send your taste buds on an overdrive. Three types of sabjis, each with a different level of spice, a unique sweet chutney with banana and the typical delhi hot and tangy green chutney. Along with that they serve an insanely delicious salad of mooli and green chilli dipped in a yellow mustard and lemon juice base. (Check pics with the review)
The parathas take time to come as the place is always full and there is only one person making it right in front of the shop. But when they do...its a blissful ride to food heaven as you dig in to the deep fried dough breads and wipe out the good karma of your diet of last week (possibly a fortnight ) in one single meal.
We tried aloo, green peas, green chilli and methi. And none of them disappointed. They order lassi from across the shop if you need something to drink. However the lassi is average at best. Take your own water bottle. They do not offer packaged water. The parathas are priced at 60/70 each. Minimum order is two parathas
All in all..we came out floating. I am still salivating as I write this review just remembering their mooli salad. This place is now forever on my 'to do' list, everytime i travel to Delhi! Also, Just my opinion...but this place and food is best enjoyed in winters for optimum experience.
A visit to Delhi isn't complete without a trip to Parathe wali gaali. We visited this outlet that was the most crowded one, but got down to business pretty quick, having the aalu, gobi, daal, paneer & mirchi parathas. These are fried in pure desi ghee yet not too oily to touch, and served along with aalu, sabji, pickle & banana-pak. Aalu & mirchi were the best. 2 parathas have to be ordered for a plate, as per the writing on the wall- literally! Some really hot & amazing parathas to help you energise for the shopping at Chandni Chowk.

Delhi is quite famous for its Parathewali gali so dropping by was a must. Visited with an intention of trying one but instead got myself all full. Looking at the variety of paratha they serve it's quite difficult to make up your mind. The parathas here are served with Mint chutney, garlic chutney, Aloo curry, mix veg curry, some salad and pickle. So basically be prepared for loads of sides. Tried the Aloo paratha and gobi paratha which were delicious. But what blew my mind was the dessert paratha i.e Rabri paratha. Serve hot when you try and break a bite you'll have rich creamy Rabri oozing out. The quality is rich as the Rabri consists of all sorts of dry fruits all wrapped in the paratha. Totally paisa vasool.
Trip to ancient famous places is on our cards, so we are starting with decades old love which is just not going less is our most favorite and famous paratha’s
This street is famous as Parathe wali gali or you ask people for dariba kalan (famous jewelry shop landmark located in same street)
So here you get 15-28 varieties of hot served crispy paratha’s with sabji (sides) aloo tamatar, sweet pumpkin sabji, pickle and green chutney
Features here
- Top one is paneer paratha, like we mentioned they serve fresh, yes with fresh paneer filling and nicely marinated with masala this tasted heaven.
- Second one is aloo paratha, dare not to take this lightly. This one was super filling and crispy.
- The last one had to be there specialty which is hot Rabri Paratha, This was folded and served in gujiya/croissant shape filled with raisons, cashew and milk cream and the best is their apt sweetness that they maintain in each serving
Happy eating around

The paranthas here are so tasty. You can actually see how they make the paranthas. They serve the paranthas with aloo mutter sabji, chatni and sometimes sitafal sabji. Finger licking and fattening paranthas
A legendary parathe wala shop. Heard a lot about it and one day decided to go and try. They have a never ending list of items and such a large no. of variants of paratha. Gotta go and try once. I have tried rabri paratha, mirchi paratha and classic aloo paratha. Its a bit hyped and food was good.
This shop though is situated in centre of heart of Delhi. Everything where is famous for food. Still stand out for reasons like
Rabdi ka parantha. Of all varieties available its a must. Think of it as a dessert.
2 parantha plate with so many things to eat with parantha they present you is food for eyes.
All time crowded compact sitting courteous staff make it all worth remembering!
I am 21, and i have been visiting this place since my early childhood years. And my previous generations have done the same.
Follow Hungry Panda on instagram @HungriestPanda
Very well verse with the menu, taste and owners, i can say it has just changed a tiny bit, mostly fueled by MASS-POPULARITY of paranthe wali gali. I have seen prices rise from 20 rs per parantha. All said, the parantha's here, this outlet are amazing as compared to all other similar shops. This is the shop to visit and i can say that in full confidence. It also has lassi wala right opposite it, which elevates the experience.
SHUDH DESI GHI KE PARANTHE, what else would one want?
Times visited/tasted : 10,00,000 times over the course of my life.
Taste : 10/10
Quality : 11/10
Quantity : 9/10
Sheen : 8/10 (still regains sheen even after popularity)
Overall : 10/10
SPECIAL MENTION : Kele Ka Parantha for that sweet tooth
Though throughout the lane, sheen is lost, no more is the rustic-ness felt, its all flooded by tourists & new kids on the block, an early morning visit on a weekday sorts out all the problems.
So this is usually a go to place for any parathe wali gali ke parathe lovers.
The only reason I go here is because of the Nimbu paratha. That’s lip smacking.
Others are fine.
But yes they serve a couple of sweet parathas, like mawa paratha and many others.
With the parathas you get green chutney, aloo sabji, kaddu ki sabji, meethi chatni with banana slices, chana aloo sabji and the pickles.
It’s quite a meal at a reasonable rate.
Nothing too great but worth a eat once in a while.
I wonder why this place has been beaten down on reviews and ratings. To be honest I've been eating in the neighbouring Paratha outlet for more than a decade. It was this year's trip i took my chances with this place. Surprisingly it's at par with them and probably better. The sabjis and chutneys were all delicious and fresh. Parathas were great and made up with the utmost quality products. I don't know why I got the love while others got just disappointed. Please give it a chance and be the judge. Dhaba kind of vibes will be its charm so don't go with the expectation of a 5 star restaurant.
I had aloo, paneer and mixed veg Paratha with salted lassi and sweet lassi.
It's not a tawa parantha but a deep-fried parantha if you are coming with an expectation to judge. Some may call kachori too.
Enjoy various options the place has to offer along with numerous chutneys and sabji in one plate to complement the paratha.
Worth a try.
Very good experience and different types of parathas. Tastes are good. Must try. You have to wait for some time during the pick hours.
If you are going to paranthe wali gali make sure that you visit this shop this is just an amazing shop.
I usually like having the mint paratha which is also the pudina paratha. The second favourite of mine is a chilli paratha or the mirchi paratha. The third favourite would be a nimbu paratha or the lemon paratha.
I always have the lassi from the opposite side of the shop which is 65 rupees without the Malay and it is amazing.
I specially like the banana chutney with the pudina paratha and the aloo ki sabzi plus chhole with the mirchi paratha.
I didn't love the regular parathas here because they were too basic.
One of the oldest shop at Parawthe wali Gali. Tasty food, small congested place to sit.
They serve amazing parathas. We were 3 people and tried 7 types of parathas. Each and every one was yummy.
Overhyped, serving poori in name of paratha , tastes average . Must try once !!!
Crowded place. Decent quality and quantity. Fried Parathas served along with aloo sabji and chutneys
One of the best shop in parathe vali gali for different types of patathe. I like khurchan paratha and aloo paratha. Very 😋!!
Definitely try their mixed paratha and cheese panner paratha.
So many varieties fo parantha they have. Choose anyone , all the the same not major difference
