We went to paatra for a family dinner. We had heard about it from a family friend so decided to try it. The ambiance was great and it has gazal singers also. Food was perfect not too oily or spicy, yet it was just delicious. The quality of service heavily impressed us. Thanks to young manager over there they offered us that we could order a dessert from the coffee shop as well. He is extremely polite and welcoming nature.

Have been here for dinner a couple of time and i must say, Every time the food has been great. Tried fish tikka, chicken masala and paneer tikka among other thing. The staff is very courteous like Ashok singh and the ambience is delight and soothing..... 👍

Well visited this place because currently baisakhi festival was going on and the best part was the ambiance of this place is amazing and they have brought cusines from the heart of punjab pure authentic food which i loved it.

Visited here for the very first time and I had an amazing experience. A Punjabi food festival- “Jatta aai Basakhi” was being celebrated in the restaurant so all the place was decorated in a very colourful theme and all the staff in Punjabi consumes. Just loved the ambience. The moment we sat the waiter served us the welcome drink of the festival ‘ambi panna’ , one of the best aam pannas I ever had. In starters we had chicken tikka , amritsari fish, paneer tikka and saag kumb ki tikki. The chicken and fish were really nicely cooked and very well marinated. Paneer tikka was really soft and saag kumb tikki was very unique. For mains , we had daal makhni , paneer makhni and chane te cholia da saag. Just loved the daal makhni and chole. Then on recommendation, we ordered sarso the saag & makki the roti, which is a speciality of their besakhi menu. In desserts we had Kesar phirni and Malpua with Rabri . Just loved both the things.
They have live music, ambience is wonderful, food is very good & staff is really very courteous. Overall a wonderful experience would definitely recommend to my friends.

On the recommendation of a friend , I visited Paatra in Jaypee Siddharth hotel. And as he said each and everything we had was really delicious. The quality of food served here is really good. ‘Jatta aai Basakhi’ food festival in which Punjabi food was being served at the restaurant. They welcomed us with a very yummy Aam panna. In starters we had chicken tikka , it was very flavourful and rightly cooked. Amritsari fish , the quality of the fish was really good and the taste was amazing. Saag and kumb ki tikki , a very different yet very tasty snack. In Mains, we had daal makhni , paneer do pyaza and butter chicken. The daal and chicken were really really good. And also we ordered sarso ka saag , makki di roti , gudh. And I must say one of the best saag I have had. For drinks , we ordered berry berry and melon cooler , both were good. And in desserts, we ordered mal Pua with Rabri and phirni. Loved the malpuas.
Had an amazing time with my family. Loved the ambience and the staff was very polite. Will definitely visit again. Thanks Chef Satish for all the recommendation of dishes. Loved each & every item.

we start with chicken tikka fish tikka makkai methi ke kebab In main course we feasted upon Dal Makhani , Tawa Gosht,lehsuni Palak , Laccha Prantha, Tandoori Roti and Naan. All of them were excellent. Essentially Tawa Gosht cooked with Perfection and perfect spices. Dal Makhani with the traditional taste and good technique..
Restaurant food & Service staff was very good.Specially Chef Satish Sharma, Rajesh The service is top notch and this place surely deserves a visit. The best thing about is smile on every one face. All the best !

This has been wonderful surprise for my birthday. Beautiful ambience near pool side with private date arrangements. Special thanks to our buttler Nandkishor, who served us delicious appetizers, foods and helped us chosse best of the drinks. Food including tomato soup, kababs, aloo stuff, soyabean was yummy. Last but not the least you can play music of your own genre.

I went to this place yesterday to experience lunch. The ambiance is decent and the hospitality is a 5/5.
We started with shorba which was a perfect appetiser. Its flavour was applaudable. Next we had , Paatra paneer tikka , Kishti dilruba and dahi makhane ki shammi .
Paneer tikka was stuffed , soft and good to eat. Kishti dilruba was basically stuffed potatoes which were very crispy and stuffed with vegetables and dry fruits. The crispiness made it a 10/10.
Next we had dahi bhalle . They were soft and delectable. I’ve had this at many places and rarely it seems this fresh and good.
In main course , there is a good variety of options to choose from - Dal makhni , palak paneer , mushroom , rice , punjabi kadi , green chilli potatoes and yellow daal . The only item i think should be added is a dish of paneer.
In desserts , again there is a good variety. I liked their kulfi the most followed by the barfi.
Overall a good experience at this place. Paatra should definitely be visited by everyone in the vicinity who loves good food and cherishes amazing hospitality.

If i am to make a list of five best places for north Indian food in Delhi, Paatra will definitely feature in that. Paatra is a sanskrit word that has three meanings- a vessel, a deserving person and a character cast in a dramatic performance. Paatra, the restaurant harmoniously blends all these meaning of this beautiful word. meanings of this beautiful Sanskrit word. How? that i will explain in the review later on, but this is one place you dare not miss if you like north Indian food.
LOCATION: it is located at the first floor of Jaypee Siddharth Hotel, Rajendra Place.
AMBIENCE/INTERIORS: this is a big place with old school fine dining decor. Seating is spacious and comfortable. There are counters for starters, main course and desserts for buffet and on one side is a beautiful place for love performances. They play instrumental music over their speakers, which i personally not fond of, but this is what we get at old school fine dine restros.
SERVICE: hospitality here is heart warming. The staff here is highly courteous taking so much care of their guests, justifying the secind meaning of paatra(deserving person).
FOOD & BEVERAGES: Their resplendent culinary repenoire showcases myriad delicacies-classics as well as contemporary-prepared in a diversity of cooking vessels (paatra, justifying another meaning). I tried a lot of dishes here and have to agree most of the dishes were masterpieces in their own. It was one of the best north Indian meal that i ever had in Delhi.
I had:
● BHUNEE CHAAT: prepared in bhatti, it had char grilled pineapple, potatoes, pears, apple and bell peppers done in a secret super delicious masala which had many stark flavours. ( 5/5 )
● KISHTI DILRUBA: prepared in kadhai, it had small boats carved out of mini potato barrels, filled with a melange of vegetables and dry fruits, garnished with olives drapped with sour cream. The best bharwa aloo that i had till date. Highly Recommended. ( 5/5 ) 👍🏻👍🏻
● DAHI AUR MAKHANE KI SHAMMI: dahi kebab is something that we find in almost every restro's menu in Delhi but there are only a handful of places that make it right. Their Dahi Kebabs were perfect..one of the best of the town. Recommended. ( 5/5 )👍🏻
● TAWA DE SOYA CHAAMP: soya chaap drapped in an onion and tomato masala spiced with black pepper. This was the only dish that i did not like here. The masala was really good but it stayed on the outside only. From the inside, the chaap carried its raw taste. ( 3/5 )
● PALAK BADAMI KOFTA: paneer & spinach koftas filled with almonds and soaked in tangy gravy flavoured with fennel. Tasted amazing. Recommended. ( 5/5 ) 👍🏻

Paatra is a fine dining restaurant located in Jaypee Siddharth Hotel.
If it's opulence you are after you have got to visit the restaurant. Different 'paatras' or utensils determine the unique cooking methods that conserve the unique flavor of the food. It is an elegant restaurant that promises to deliver an unforgettable food and experience. I recently tried their buffet and it was very good.
They had two variants in soups, Tomato Soup and Clear Chicken soup. Both of them very good and light and was a good way to start the meal. Then they had four starters to choose from Murg Tikka, Amritsari Fish, Paneet Tikka and Hara Bhara Kebabs. They also had a Chaat and Gol Gappas section which cannot be missed by street food lovers. For mains they had vegetables, lamb, chicken and fish along with rice and biryani. I absolutely loved the Fish in coconut curry. It was absolutely delicious in taste. Pair the curry with rice and you will not need anything else. For desserts they had a pineapple cake, fresh fruit platter, caramel pudding, chocolate brownie etc.
Their buffet menu is rotational and keeps on changing from time to time.
Verdict- On the whole my experience at this place was very good. If you love to eat buffet’s then you can definitely give this place a try.
Recently i visited this place for the first time and i simply loved it. I simply loved the ambience, service and specialy the interiors were really pretty.
Food was really remarkable and served really nicely. Firstly they have served there tomato shorma which was quite tasty and there starters like grilled fruits, mushrooms and matar tikki was perfectly cooked and giving good Flavors to taste buds. Mocktails were quite refreshing too mint cooler was my favorite. Main course was delicious too specialy there dal makhni us must try.
There main attraction was there live music which starts at 8:30pm singers were too good and will definitely make your evening memorable.
Great night ends with yummy desserts ,all desserts were mouth watering specialy there mango ice cream and paan kulfi. So overall it's a perfect place to dine in.

I visited this place last month . The ambiance of this restaurant was really nice and peaceful , the servers were also very polite. I had their murgh makhanwala( butter chicken ) , it's gravy was nothing like I had ever had , it was a perfect combination of spices and butter and also the chicken was very tender . We also ordered their gulab jamun and as expected even they were really good . So overall it was a really nice experience .

A brilliant and amazing place for fine dine. The food is top notch and the best part is the courteous staff. Mr. Deepak took our reservation and made sure that our family had the best time there in terms of service and food options. I personally loved the fish tikka, butter chicken, rara meat. The mutton was pretty soft and tender. Mr. Satish, the head Cheff has magic in his hands. He specially came out to greet us and ask if the food was good. This is the best example of hospitality and care that they portrayed. The ambience is amazing. I could've given more starts but the max we can give is 5 here. Thank You guys for making my Dad's Birthday Dinner so memorable.

Paatra as the name, their food has a character of what indian food should be. This place has a nice fine dining feel and live music gives the old Delhi moti Mahal charm of ghazals..The delicacy of the night was their paneer with layers which was quite a complete dish .Altogether a fine indian food restaurant worth a visit n may be a regular for some .cheers

Yet another good restaurant of Jaypee Siddharth that has a functional bar and a buffet system available. For the foodies of Rajendra Place, Paatra is always a good option to dine with the family or even with their ‘special ones’. It has good looking decors and an elegant ambience that altogether give the place a pleasing look. The seating area is also commodious and comprises various beautiful chairs and tables. As it mostly remains crowded during the weekends, I decided to visit it on a week day and thankfully did not encounter much of a crowd. Coming to the food, the menu lists items from the North Indian cuisine out of which I ordered the following-
Paneer Tikka- Nicely spiced to provide you with a fine taste.
Chicken Tikka- As good as the paneer one, had juicy and flavored chicken pieces.
Butter Chicken- Had a buttery creamy gravy that was enjoyable with naan.
Shahi Paneer- Mildly spiced and adequately flavored. A good one overall.
Dal Makhani- Vegetarians should go for it. Tasted just fine.
Chicken Biryani- The pieces were a bit chewy and the taste was okay.
Mutton Biryani- Way better than the chicken one and tasted good.
As all these items were indeed very filling, I decided to take a halt.
Overall, everything here was good except for the Chicken Biryani that tasted very average.
Can be visited at least once.

I had come here some time back for lunch buffet.the ambience and seating and layout are top class.but the variety I was expecting from a buffet in a big hotel was missing.I have been to many buffets but honestly other restaurants offer much more variety at much less price so I would say it was good for just a one time experience.
Have been to this place thrice and it has never left me dissatisfied. The food is finger licking good.Staff is really sweet and live ghazals are a bang on.The desserts here and too good.Keep it up...!!:)
All the Points for the ambiance, hospitality and service. Buffet indeed looks so tempting! But I found no variety in vegetarian. Taste - Not up to the mark. Kinda tasteless actually. Why you no have anything for vegetarians? :|
This place is AMAZING. I went there for a celebratory dinner with family.
The ambience was so enchanting. A really lovely place for family dinners. The food was really delicious.
For starters we had chicken tikka and paneer tikka. Both were very tasty and spicy. For main course we ordered dal makhni, shahi paneer and butter chicken. The dal makhni was the best I ever had. Highly flavoured and delicious. The butter chicken was full of spices and juicy chicken. And the shahi paneer was delicious too.
I just loved the food and the ambience.

Great ambience and probably better food. Amazing Punjabi food brilliant service. All 3 dinners were excellent. Mutton dishes especially great. P.s. melodious songs add to the atmosphere
Follow up review: went for Amritsar special dinner. One associates awesome food with Amritsar. Hence big let down. Especially starters chewy hard uninspiring. Main course saved the day to an extent.
Tip your old singers were brilliant. New ones are pale shadow.
Some great authentic Indian flavors. Decent variety of dishes in the menu. Absolutely love the ambiance. Live music makes everything better. I think service and neatness need some improvements. Presentation of dishes could be better too. Food is no doubt delicious. A decent experience.
Aatishe murg great. It was the finest preparation I tasted anywhere else. Went there with my bro in law and his family and enjoyed the whole dinner
I Wnt to Patra for a dinner with family. The ambience, live music made our day. Loved their pindi chole , veg biryani alot and their smoothies were also so fresh and nice. The staff was also very courteous and attentive and service was very fast. Good place. Live upto its standards.

The Dum Ki Gosht Biryani was good. I asked for no spice and it was perfect. Well presented and generous in portion size. Lot of mutton. Came with raita and side salad. Service was good. I was staying in the hotel. Not the best Indian food but it was nice.
We enjoyed dinner at Patra in JP Siddhartha yesterday. Service and atmosphere is nice but food was not match our expectations. They should improve taste and presentation.
Paatra is the landmark restaurant of Jaypee Siddartha. It primarily serves North Indian cuisine. The taste and quality of food is pretty good over here.
I tried paneer tikka, mushroom tikka and soya chaap in starters. Starters were nice but soya chaap needs a bit improvement as it tasted quite ordinary.
In the main course, I tried shahi paneer, chhole, malai kofta, dal makhni, veg biryani along with some breads. Each dish tasted to perfection.
A decent place..All cuisines served are good for the pricing .. buffet served is good 4/5 service is good 👍😊
Food is good, the Paneer and Pyaz ki Sabzi is especially excellent.
