Shreeratnam a south Indian foodie's delight
The que at this place tells u how much people love the taste and the flavour of this place well under the budget line and highly authentic South Indian food to offer, this place is a lunch time delight for anyone working there and for others as well in general
A must try if u wanna enjoy the authentic South Indian taste without actually going there
We stopped at this restaurant to have something to eat as we were really starving..so we decided to have food at this place as the name suggested we ordered masala dosas and hakka noodles and to my surprised hakka noodles were well prepared and yummy . Dosa was good crrunchy and tasty but only one thing which was not upto the mark was sambhar..otherrwise we had a good nice dinner..
Shree rathnam is definitely a good option for south Indian food. The food here is very good and their dosas are always perfect. good service by staffs as well.
serving an amazing food the dosa and idli were amazing soft and crispy dosa tasted very well the sambhar.the plating was also amazing and the service also was goood
The food here is fresh and authentic. Made really well. Totally worth coming and eating. Don’t judge the place by its location. The food is actually great.
A bunch of things about this place.
1. I loved their Chettinad dosa that is extremely flavorful, loaded with amazing spices and served with their delicious green and red dips on the side (special sauces made of onions and garlic primarily)
2. Their vegetable-cheese dosa is amazing but only available on a few days.
3. They need to serve fresh Mysore Pak not the stale ones.
4. Their beverages seem syrup-based which is unhealthy.
5. I think it's not cool to present the cheque before a guest has finished eating all that they ordered or before the guest asks for it. I found it a bit rude. However, they are usually very polite. I have come here often.
My favourite dosa place I enjoy there South Indian food alot they have amazing chutney and specially the tamarind one is my favourite must visit this place.
Thnx for delivery on time the good food always. Combo was awesome... Was expecting bill to be attached with order.. Not received bill.. Please Help. Thank you
Food good. But quantity less
Descent South Indian restaurant, varieties of dosa, idlis to choose. I tried masala dosa, rawa masala Mysore dosa, Rawa onion masala Mysore dosa which were really good. The coconut chat Was amazing. We also tried veg fried rice and veg manchurian which was ok.
Ate garlic ginger chilli noodles and loved it. Had soup and masala dosa too. Everything was on point. Staff was friendly. Service was super fast. Will definitely visit again.
Shree Rathnam comes to my rescue when pangs of hunger strike me and when I crave for authentic south Indian food. Their Mysore Masala Dosa is my all time favorite. Their coconut chutney is so fresh all the time. Worth it. 😊
Had these amazing spring roll dosa and Upma at Shree Rathnam. And all I can say is, great food and good value for money. Also, they serve amazing Chutneys!!! But the lime soda had a bit more soda than it really should.
idli was very good and quantity of sambhar is also very good .only problem was with the over oil in onion rava masala dosa and spices in sambhar as i need light food with less spices and oil.
.
Good food but slightly costly
Good food but little spicy. timely delivery.
Service experience (delivery) was great; South Indian food options always hit the spot.
For south indian cuisine this is good. There are numbers of option of all south indian food is available. Plenty of space is available for many people. Also for family this is good place to eat and sit. Chinese and North Indian also available. Dessrts and drinks are available. See price before placing order.
Rating based on personal experience.

Delicious food is served in a calm and peaceful ambience. A must visit. Moreover, it opens early in the morning and so it is a perfect place for breakfast too.

An easily accessible dine in restaurant in NFC, known for their legendary South Indian food.
Post Navratri when you look for some different taste than the normal and a place which is near to you office makes your plan quickly.
we gathered in and placed our order.
we asked for Madras fry idli, Jain Masala Dosa, onion Masala Dosa, mini idli, Ghee Roasted Masala Dosa and Butter Milk.
Having onion after Navratra is like having some special dish.
the service was prompt and staff was also good. just one concern we were served in steel plates which I think j for a restaurant is not good option.
Great South Indian food and I eat here all the time. Everything I have tried has been pretty good and the service is on point too. Very easy on pocket as well..
This place is my saviour. From amazon does to lemon rice absolutely love it. Pocket friendly and large servings. Great food, fast and kind service. Do your self a favour and go and diggin
Last week i went to the shri rathnam restaurant, i ordered DAL MAKHNI AND SHAHI PANEER AND 3 BUTTER NAAN, when the food has come, the aroma of the food is so good after that when i taste the food it's too delicious and i enjoy the food.. Good quality and also that the restaurant is also look so clean and
I liked it.
Shree Rathnam is one of the most simon-pure south Indian restaurants in Delhi serving the genuine flavours of south india in the city.
We have visited this particular outlet of shree Rathnam more than couple of times and our experience has got better and better with each visit.
Their masala dosa is our favourite item on their menu particularly because of the piquant chutneys served along with it. These chutneys are so tasty that you don’t need to have it with a dish , you can surely finish it all alone 😋😋
They have a spaceous seating arrangement and very attentive staff.
We personally loved their service.
Ambiance-4/5
Food-4.5/5
Staff-4/5
Service 4/5
The south Indian thali is really good; sometime it's even more for a single person. I really love their card rice especially during summer. Servicing is good too.
With navratras going on, it becomes almost mandatory to try the navratras menu from a place and this time I chose shree Rathnam.
Ordered Adraki Paneer tikka and navratras dosa which came quite neatly packed.
The Paneer tikka looked more than extravagant to the “fast type” and hence I had to make a call to confirm if it was indeed under the menu or not. Fortunately it was and surprisingly it tasted every bit delicious and how a normal Paneer tikka would taste like.
Second item the dosa was quite sumptuous and served with aloo filling packed separately, sambhar and peanut chutney. Though the entire palette was cooked properly, good flavours and in decent quantity, I felt the sambhar was a little bland.
Have heard a lot about this place so would definitely try their normal menu after the fasts.
Nice place for some good quality South Indian food. The dosas are good, and I also like their sambhar. Prices are decent and ambience is also pleasing.
Today visited here order Masala dosa
It was yummi but green cutney served spoiled should look after quality for the same. restaurant was noisy
Service was ok
Cleaning ok
Ambience need to work out.
The Ghee dosa was the best! Utthappams could have been better.
Ambiance was good. Service was a little slow.
The staff was good.
Must try if you love South Indian food! :)
Had been their twice. A nice decent yet costly South Indian restaurant in the heart of South Delhi. Having not so different taste than other's but their chutney was something i will always praise because of the texture and taste.
This very famous for south Indian food and the best dish they served is Dosa..
I like the taste and the service..
The service is good, ambience is nice..
nd the staff is very understanding
Decent place to spend some quality time with family over good food and a suitable ambience. Found the South Indian cuisine to be particularly good.
Went here with my family on a weekend. The place had decent crowd. The ambiance and service could use improvement but the food was delicious.
I had veg singapore chowmein, butter masala dosa, onion uttapam and a glass of lassi with it. The singapore chowmein was flavorful and had a lot of veggies. The taste was amazing. The filling in Butter masala dosa could have been more although the taste wasn't bad at all. I haven't really been a fan of uttapam but this place made me fall in love with it. Lastly, Lassi was not very thick and the taste was good.
Food - 4.5/5
Service - 2.5/5
Ambiance - 3/5
Decent food, decent prices, decent service. Could do with better lighting. All in all, a very quite, no frills place, where you go and have an extremely peaceful and quickly served meal.
Pure veg restaurant and is worth it... the food is good especially the paper plain dosa. Big & crisp just the way we like it. Have been hunting for some good South Indian place, I think this the place to stop at.. even the noodles were good - a little street style.
Undoubtedly one of their best outlet !
New things on menu added are superb , variety of South Indian is so heart melting and the quality of food and drinks served is much better than the other outlets of SR .
Palak paneer dosa something I was scared of trying for both reasons one was taste and other was digestion when you are already full but still they managed greatly to make me drool over it and have no regrets !
Water melon juice is superb here .
I am not from Delhi so can't come here all the time but can't find the same quality anywhere else over all other SR outlets in Northern India till date .
Staff is really friendly.
Ordered Masala dosa, veg uttapam and rice idli. The deliver was prompt and the packaging was good. The idli and uttapam tasted great, but the dosa was a bit soggy. The tastes are authentic - good south indian food. But the prices are a bit high.
visit too often almost every weekend or two as it is nearby my home.Loved dosa ,papar and rasam ,poori sabzi and thaali and tea there.A must visit.
I love their packaging and taste of sambhar!!
In this morning i had uttapam, came in nice box, well packed with all chutney and sambhar.Sambhar taste was just awesum.
When there for family dinner. We had
Tandoori paneer 4/5 soft & succulent paneer
Butter masala dosa, masal dosa and butter masala dosa 3.5/4 good dosas but nothing like out of the word types.
Service 3.5/5
Overall good place to have quite diner
This is definitely my favourite place for South Indian food like the basics idli dosa etc. I actually prefer them over Sagar Ratna in Delhi. Coming from Calcutta where the South Indian tiffin food is exquisite. This place does justice to the yummy Dosas. The neer dosa requires a special mention. Rava kesari is yum and the ghee roast masala dosa is divine.
Cute little restaurant with simple interiors and pleasant and efficient staff to serve you.
If simple is your mantra for a wholesome meal. You got yourself a deal.
Few days back i went to this place accidently i over read the name to something else.
Anyway i orderd Rava plain dosa with rava idli, Vada and watermelon juice.
All the food and drink was good, crispy dosa, spongy idli and fresh juice, i like the sambhar and the coconut chatni most.
Ambeience was very pleasant and relaxing
Food: It's nice. Good South Indian food. Wonderful filter coffee.
Service: Nice. People are good.
Ambience/Seating: It's not very stylish or beautifully adorned. The interiors are simple and basic.
Value for money: Yes. Not expensive.
Go for: Dosas, vadas, idlis, uthhapams, filter coffee.
Verdict: Good place to go if you like South Indian food and want better ambience than Carnatic Cafe which is adjacent to this.
Good thing: Good food, simple.
Bad thing: Not anything.
Go or pass: Go
Good vegetarian food...reasonably priced...good quality... v ordered tandoori aloo and chilli paneer... both were good..even the quantity was ok for three of us...A good option for instant home delivery..👍😊
We went here for early morning breakfast😊
We ordered puri sabji, masala vada,Rava Idli sambar, uttapam, Fresh watermelon juice and fresh lime..
I love uttapam that was so crispy and tasteful
Masala vada was not good according to my taste
Rava idli was soft and good in taste👍🏼
5 puri's with small quantity of aloo ki sabzi😐
Service was late🙁
Umm.. its time for pure veg but seriously its worth it. We guys were searching for a good place to have mid day meal. Randomly wandering we entered here thinking we would just have starters n decide whether to stay or leave.
We ordered Mushroom Chilly Pepper n Cheese Cutlets n Ginger Ale and it tasted nice. Cheese Cutlets was awesome and Mushroom was deeply fried n tenderly cooked in sauces n spiced.
Now It was time for main course we went for one Rawa Onion Masala Dosa n Baby corn Manchurian along with Shree Rathnam special noodles.
And we were full upto throat.
Trust me if u are a pure vegetarian u must visit this place. It worth spending bucks to satisfy ur taste buds.
And for us it was a really nice experience. :)
I know it's never a good idea to get South Indian food home delivered.. But this place is a stone throw away from my house.. The guys makes sure that the food comes hot and they have not disappointed me so far.. Its not bad at all both on taste as well as on delivering food hot.. A big thumbs up to them..
Tucked up inside the mall at NFC, this place is a hidden gem with amazing food and well mannered staff. A great restaurant for families.
Order anything right from dosas to chinese to paranthas.. All of it is amazing. The flavours hit your tastebuds just right! The quality of food is excellent and the place is quite hygienic.
We ordered their special chowmein along with a mysore masala dosa and tomato onion uttapam. Everything was great. The portions are also decent when compared to the prices.
You must take your family to this place atleast once as the food is light on spices and everyone will enjoy the taste as well. Cheers :)
Shree Rathnam is a nice restaurant if looking to dine with family. They have an ample of space indoors. I recently visited this place with my mom when we were craving for South Indian food on a Saturday evening.
We had their dahi vada which was really nice. Within main course we had onion masala rawa dosa and upma. I really liked them and found them to be very fresh.
We also had the signature south indian filter coffee post our main course.
Overall a nice dining experience with nice staff. I will surely keep on coming here again.
Shree Ratnam is a dynamic restaurant. It serves both South and North Indian food along with Chinese. A very special quality of this place is that they also serve Jain food for those who don't eat onion and garlic. The food quality, taste, service and hospitality is excellent; value for money. If you are famished do go for their South Indian thali.
I used to regularly visit the place with my colleagues, do try their rasam which I think is far best than any other south indian rests i hav ever visited, north indian as well as Chinese is also good.

A good family Restaurant with Amazing Food.
I have visited here more then 10 times and the quality of food is always up to the mark.Their South Indian and North Indian Is amazing..!!
Dal Makhni is very delicious.
Have tried Shahi paneer,Dal makhni,Butter masala Dosa.
The ambience and service is very good....I like the most its Garlic Naan, Schezwan Noodles, and Sambhar apart from other chinese and south indian dishes...but it is a little over priced which they should take care of...my overall experience has always been good here.
They have regular dosas but the Sambhar and chutney are awesome. One cannot keep without ordering more. Also, they are very kind and courteous, and always give us more on their own, when we are short on money and 3 of us are sharing a dosa :P, Today we had 4 bowls of Sambhar, and four of chutney with just one dosa! This is why I love them
The new sagar for me ... Loved the Mysore dosa .. The masala butter is something everyone needs to try . U guys definitely made the navratras easier .
The store is like any south Indian restaurants only thing open till 11pm and serves other cuisines apart from South Indian. It's not a place you specifically go there some speciality.
Food was good. The waiters however were a little impatient. We were surprised to see the food was served in no time and the quality of food was also very good. The seating is a little cramped but all in all a good place to have South Indian food in that market.
Ordered in & delicious food delivered with a smile. The vegetable uthapam was excellent. Everything was delivered hot, especially when the delivery was from New Friends Colony to South Extn. Thank you.
Order: Chilli Potato, Masala & Ghee Dosa
Pros: Ambient atmosphere, decent customers, humble staff & location is good.
Con: Overpriced food: butter naan for 60/- is way too high. I found no sequence to serve the customers: No FCFS principle followed. Order takes quite sometime to get delivered. The above menu costs INR 496(including taxes) & w/o any beverage.I don't find any reason compelling enough to revisit. The food, too tastes normal, nothing very great or delicious about it.
Plus Points :
Good family restaurant
Must try spring roll dosa
Service is also good
They even serve north indian thali although not part of menu. It was also good
Found it better than sagar ratna chains.
WOW!! Shree Rathnam. To be very frank it wasn't our first choice restaurant for a family outing. But then when we realised our chosen eatery was choc-a-bloc and there was lot of waiting time involved. So, with aplomb we just marched into Shree Rathnam. And I must say it was a pleasant experience. My folks went for the regular Idli Dosa cuisine while I ordered their thaali. A huge platter with myriad dishes from the south. But for me two things which really stood out in this delectable thaali was a vegetable preparation made from coconut and their sweet offering of 'halwa'. Coming to other things - Ambience was very good and the hygiene also seemed impeccable. The staff was also very friendly and cordial. I must say the place is worth a try.
Nice, simple and clean place. Ambience is nice and staff is courteous and friendly. We ordered dosas and uthapam which were nicely made. Even their desert was nice.
Good food & good value for money. Ambience is ok and the staff is friendly. The service was quick. Ordered north Indian food and the food was as tasty as in 5 star restaurant. All in all a good experience
Well i havent had food at this place exactly but have ordered a couple of times and i liked the rava dosa and masala dosa at two seperate ocassions. Even though after delivery dosas are usually soggy this was pretty decent and i think is one of the places you can order from when you are in the mood for south indian food.
Few days back i visited this particular outlet of Shree Rathnam for the third time which is located in new friends colony. I know this name for providing decent food at really decent prices and have personally experienced the taste of their other outlets as well. But i was surprised to see the place vacant on almost all my visits hardly 2 or 3 tables i see occupied there. Normally i have never seen it like that in their other outlets. Well the items which i had tried in my visits and are really well are Onion rava masala dosa, ghee roast dosa, badam milk, rava idli in south indian cuisines and in Chinese cuisine i like their paneer manchurian and garlic chilly noodles. Their north indian items are still to try which i definitely would be doing in my next visit. The staff and service are pretty good too.
Want to order a quick meal at office or home... they deliver in 30 minutes... we have been ordering from them for last one year and had no complaints... have been twice at the restaurant, clean and tidy place .. good food ... good staff. One can count on them for a hygienic & tasty food. They serve both North Indian as well as south Indian cuisine.
