Lovely ambience...this place has some kind of positive vibes. Food is good, maybe slightly below par with it's counterparts.
Overall recommended for a nice family meal.
Must try - mutton seekh kebabs for a succulent juicy flavoursome mouthful
Visiting after several years. Food is still as good as I remember. Karim's is a must visit for us anytime we're in Delhi. Parking is in the back of the Islamic center. Restaurant is very clean. Service is fantastic. Favorites are mutton burra (lamb chops), chicken seekh, dal makhani and rumali roti. We tried chicken Malai tikka, which was also great. It was saucy and not dry, which was unique to us. The Malai Kofta had a little too much cream for our liking. Chicken Biryani was good as well. Tandoori parantha was a little hard. We were told that's how it usually is because it's made from wheat. The khamiri roti, on the other hand, was very soft and delicious.
When you run out of options for food, u can always look back at karim and i bet you, you will never be disappointed.
Karim has been serving food since more than a century. Its food is no less than magic. Doesn’t matter after how long you eat here, flavour will remain in you memory and on your tongue for long.
Mutton barra, mutton nahari, khameeri roti and many such item with lipsmacking flavours to drool upon.
The restaurant's décor effortlessly blended contemporary elements with traditional Indian accents, creating an inviting and cozy atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the exquisite table settings to the interesting artwork adorning the walls.
Now, let's talk about the main attraction: the food. The menu presented a wide array of authentic Indian dishes, each expertly crafted with precision and care. From rich curries to flavorful biryanis and tandoori specialties, every dish showcased the diverse flavors and spices of Indian cuisine.
Aside from the exceptional cuisine, the staff at karims played an integral role in making our evening memorable. Their attentiveness, knowledge, and willingness to accommodate dietary requirements were commendable. They were keen on ensuring we had a delightful dining experience and readily answered any questions we had about the food.
In conclusion, Karim's offers an outstanding dining experience that goes beyond mere sustenance.
Everything from the grill was terrific. Curry had a great unique flavour. One of the best restaurants I've been to in India.
The food at this place is great, when you run out of options for food you can always look back at karims food plaza u will never be disappointed
Recently visited Karims situated at India Islamic Cultural Centre at Lodhi Road. This is a clean and uncluttered upmarket (in comparison to othe restaurants of Karims) outlet with simplistic decor. Menu is typically Mughlai cuisine with major bias towards non-vegetarian dishes. What we ordered with my ratings out of 5 points....
Mutton Soup - 1 out of 5 - Flavour less hot salted water with added cream and few pieces of chewy Mutton
Mutton Shami Kabab - 4 out of 5 - One of the best in Delhi. Without much of added chana dal and with a prominent texture as well as taste of Mutton
Mutton Seekh Kabab - 4 out of 5 - Made with hand made Mutton keema with rough texture. A little too much fat but it's fine for a robust real seekh Kabab. If you like the creamy melt in mouth kakori type Kabab.... tgen this isn't for you
Mutton Keema - 5 out of 5 - Absolutely a winner dish. Hand made chunky mutton keema made with TEEN MIRCHI (Three types of chillies).... Black Pepper, Green Chilli and Red Chillies. Flavourful and juicy. Must have.
Mutton Nihari - 4 out of 5 - We requested for a small tasting portion and it's absolutely made to the point. Soft mutton and thick flavourful curry. Perfect combination
Khamiri Roti - 4 out of 5 - I've had better at other places but this wasn't any less.
Phirni - 0 out of 5 - Probably our biggest mistake to order this inedible mix of rice flour and minimalistic sugar.... it had no flavour, no aroma and no taste either. If that wasn't enough.... it had acquired excessive smell from the earthen pot it was served in.... Absolutely Avoidable.
Amazing Mutton korma and kebabs. Khamiri roti is to die for. Service is spectacular(sharfuddin). They took really good care of us and our order. Would definitely recommend this place for the best mutton

On of the best restaurants for family outing, good food with ample seating space. This is a hidden gem, have been there half a dozen times now. Their winter delicacies are a must try.
The food at this place is great, good variety of menu and more over they taste amazing. Try Biryani and every curry is unique on its own. Think once and the foodgasm
Is ready. The staff is good arround the entire place and a good place for a family dinner on any given day.
Great food, friendly staff
We love this outlet but on our last visit the butter chicken was extremely sweet. The desert at the end of the meal felt bland in comparison. Everything else was great from the food to the helpful staff. Nihari mutton along with their signature khamiri roti was excellent and so was the anarkali biryani.
From the moment you walk up the stairs to la sosta you are greeted with a traditional buona sera, which warmed my heart immediately!taken to our seats and offered water and drink menu then the food!! Absolutely amazing weshared 4antispasto for enteres delicious calamari, capressio croquettes and chorizo then our mains my friends throughly enjoyed his rastto finally deserts that followed were equally as good definitely be going back to this wonderful place!!great for friends groups and families
This place has a cosy dining hall. Food items are of usual Karim's standard, but the ambience is good. This restaurant is located in the premise of India Islamic Cultural Centre. One needs to proceed through Gate 5 which is in the back side of the premise.
