Hailey Road Banga Bhawan situated at prime location in New Delhi, almost walking distance for India Gate. Rooms are average but food quality wow - compared to price (specially for boarders)
Excellent place. Communication is very good nearby metro stations are Mandi House and Barakhamba Road. Staffs are also very polite. Bijoli Grill runs it's canteen, and the foods are quite good.
Bijoli Grill at it's best here. Finger licking good food. Bengali thali is a must try, so is their mishti doi and chicken and luchi and radha bollobhi.

A beautiful place which is runned by Bengal Government with all facilities available and a nice restaurant runned by famous Bijoli Grill Caterers where you can taste the pure Bengali foods.
It is one of the few places where Bengali cuisine is served. The restaurant bijoli grills opens at 12.30. There is no option for people to enter the place and wait or sit. Becomes difficult for elderly people to manage.

Note this is one of two similar properties run by WB Govt. This one is at Hailey Road. It's a 7 storeys building which hosts different varieties of rooms starting from single bed to dormitory and VVIP rooms. Mostly occupied by Govt employees/Police personnel or people related to them. The lawn inside and basic facilities are well maintained. But the maintenance of the rooms largely varied based on the kind if rooms you are staying. Rooms need to booked prior with recommendations from govt officials, higher the govt officials ranking better the rooms are.
Ample parking available with two EV charging options inside the campus. Locality peaceful and centrally located. Close to CP Bengali market, Patel Chowk metro on yellow line and lot if other attraction.
The restaurant on the 1st floor is run by the popular Bijoli Grill from Kolkata serves delicious Bengali food. It's open to non boarders as well. They have separate menu for boarders and non boarders but boarders can have both. Food is really good so as the service. Even u want to have a taste of Bengal in Delhi this is a must visit place. All varieties of Bengali dishes starting from Dab Chingri to Polao to Kasha Mangsho, they serve hot and delicious.
People from Tripura and west bengal must visit there whenever they visit Delhi . Food is pretty delicious 😋 especially their Alu posto
Rooms are very good. Well maintained. Food at Bijoli Grill is excellent especially at the subsidised price for occupants. Being at the heart of New Delhi, well connected through different transport options..
Place and food is good at Bijoliya Grill restaurant. I am giving 4 stars just coz I thought since it's a state canteen/restaurant it will have cheaper price. But items price are very similar to other bengali cuisine restaurant
Overall, a good place except the water which comes from the tap is very hard. There are separate beds for each person staying in a room. The room is quite spacious and even consists of sofas. The guest house provides cheap but very good quality food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Bijoli Grill restaurant is open during lunch and dinner time but it is costly compared to the Guest House's default diner.
There are very good flowering bushes in the garden.
People have to apply online to get dormitory or room there. I guess personal rooms are available for only the ministers or people related to them. Students and people visiting for medical purpose can get dormitory easily. Now coming to the management, it's very safe place with high security, cleanliness is also 4/5 means above average. One can get subsidised food from canteen there.
The food served at Bijoli Grill (inside Banga Bhawan building) is very good.
