I have been coming here since was a child..same warm welcome till date. Old is still gold. They have the best butter chicken. Personally I think it's the best north Indian food restaurant in north delhi.
The oldest and most traditional resteraunt in Ashok vihar. Perfect place for your family dinners and a good place to celebrate occasions like anniversary and birthdays. The food is really really good and the staff is courteous.
Traditional classic Mughlai Indian food that they've been serving for many years. Really good chicken tikka, butter chicken and chicken talumein soup which are favorites. Almost everything on the menu is really good- all tikkas and kebabs as well as indian main course. Always recommended when you want amazing butter chicken in Delhi!
Service can be improved a little bit but that is a minor flaw.

Good environment and nice crowd. The food is tasty. Butter chicken is the best. Chilly chicken and honey potato follow. No comparison but the best and reasonable.

Situated in the phase 2 market, Ashok vihar. My family is bigger of this place. Been visiting them for last more than 30 years now. Their Tomato soup is so thick and tasty. Their butter chicken is worth dieing for.
Food is amazing and one mustbtry, although old type interiors but all the food is just delicious. Better to book seats in advance on holidays a hit amongst people.
When I think of butter chicken š no other place comes in my mind other than Invitation Restaurant. This is the best place is Delhi if you are a butter chicken fan , a Punjabi by heart like me..

This place has nice dinning and very good and fast service. The staff is very friendly and the rates are also good. A good place to visit with family. The tandoori stuff is awesome. And the Indian cuisine is excellent.

This restaurant has been a go to place for all of my family since I was 5, the dal makhni here is especially my favorite + the biryani! The taste that you get here is totally unique and can't be found elsewhere. Might be a bit expensive for some people but trust me it's all worth the money.
This is a nice place for dinner. Service is good and the waiters are always on their toes. Food taste is very nice. Dal Makhani an all time favorite. Breads were also good except Garlic naan.
I would suggest not to order Garlic naan.

Well am here writing a review for a food destination named as Invitation in Ashok Vihar.
It was a dinner outing today with my two more friends and we landed up at this restro.
I ordered malai kofta,butter chicken, rumali roti n tandoori butter roti and fresh lime soda.
Wow the butter chicken was amazing loved every bit of it, malai kofta was also appreciate by my friends but am not much fan of malai kofta.
Rumali was of good quality as it was not at all stretchy types.
Fresh lime soda was also good. All in all full marks for wonderful preparation.
Wud like to visit again but not sure when.

Itās my most favourite place to have dinner with family or even ordering it at home there chicken biryani and chicken snacks are really yummy and mouth watering I would highly recommend it
Itās been 26 years that I am visiting this place. They have the similar taste the way they use to have when they started this restaurant. Staff is courteous. I love there food from my childhood. Chana masala, dum aloo Kashmiri, tandoori aloo bharwa and tomato soup must have items.
This is one of the most oldest and till running restaurant in the ashok vihar.
We ordered chili mushroom and and kashmere dum aloo with our favourite types of bread. And this restaurant would never dissappoint you with the taste and the quantity provided.
Food is nice and service is courteous. Ambience looks a lil bit old fashioned but that's ok, it is one of the oldest restaurants in the area.
Overall a must try place for food.
The best butter chicken I have had in North Delhi. The delivery is a bit slow but the packaging is good. The food is amazing and the breads were delivered hot and fresh. The quantity was justified according to the prices. Keep up the good taste.
Ordered at a friendās place, the butter chicken here is the best one can get from a delivery outlet in North delhi. The chilly chicken could have been better, but I was really impressed by the butter chicken they served, had it the first time but definitely not the last time!!
My quest for finding the best butter chicken took me to this place, and I'll be damned if I taste a more delicious one (Gulati's is a close second). Love the way they semi-grate the boneless chicken pieces, and the gravy is done to perfection. The servings are reasonably generous as well.

Ever since I was a kid, this used to be our go-to restaurant in and around Ashok Vihar. The service is impeccable and food is flavoursome. Moreover, quantity of food is pretty impressive. I used to be a big fan of their Shabnam Curry, Paneer Birbali, Veg gravy munchurian and Veg noodles.

First of all sorry guys I could not post many pictures of the place as my phones battery had conked off so could just manage these 3.... The restaurant has different floors for seating so can cater to many people.... The food as usual has always been yum... The must try's are the Soups the Dal Makhani the butter chicken and if u are a garlic lover the Garlic Naan is too good with solid pieces of Garlic... I would recommend all of u to visit the place.... Full marks...

This place is near to my home but strangely I had never tried it until I read an online article placing the Butter Chicken in Top 10 Butter Chickens of Delhi. Now I'm a regular customer. Absolutely worth the price. Do come along with your family/friends.

All other food is good too... but they stand out in ashok vihar for their butter chicken - it is finger licking good.
Ambience is the same for many years now... so itās largely comfy with sofas or chair with a regular table runner.
Go there for all food but try the butter chiken for sure.

Ever heard the notion old is gold? It cannot apply better to any place than to Invitation at Ashok Vihar. Oh I have memories of this place, From my childhood to my days of wandering around with my friends. The taste of that garlicky Dal, Paneer is still engraved in my soul.
This is not the best food you will ever eat, this is not best place you will ever visit. It s old, it was built like 30 years ago, the drapes haven't changed, the decor is still the same, hell some of the staff is the same but so is the food, It hasn't changed or even, amusingly, improved. It is the SAME.
It tastes gooooood. It is not expensive, and they serve Beer!Ā
Go with you family or with your friends, you will surely enjoy your time at this amazing DelhiĀ Restaurant, if my friends come from abroad, I don't take them to a luxury restaurant, partly because my pocket isn't that deep and partly because 'THIS' is the DELHI experience.

I ordered some dishes from here two days back for dinner. Soya stuffed amritsari chaap and kadhai paneer along with lachha parantha were the items delivered by them. Absolutely delicious and properly packed.
Chaap cut into pieces with stuffing of paneer was juicy and spicy. Kadhai paneer too was excellent with appropriate spices and decent size of paneer pieces.
Taste was such that you will crave more for quantity in respectable prices. Looking forward to order again
Kay's that's located in Deep Market complex, Ashok vihar is an heaven for both Vegetarian's and Non-Vegetarians. I am a hardcore non vegetarian but I don't mind trying vegetarian food if it's so good.
I tried Malai Chaap, perhaps the best of the vegetarian dish, looked more like a chicken dish and just melt-in-mouth.
Coming to the non-vegetarian delights, these were chicken seekh and chicken malai tikka.
Coming to the main course, I loved the butter chicken and dal makhani they have. Although dal makhani can be improved a bit, yet it was perfectly creamy.
I enjoyed my meal here.

This Amazing food outlet, famous for Non Veg food. They have everything from Tandoori to North Indian main Course.
They don't have sitting arrangements, but you can order in your car.
Tried their Chicken Shawarma , it was so well made chicken was well roasted and moreover the Shawarma had lot of Veggies in it too.
Next is Chicken Tawa Masala, it was a gravy dish chicken pieces were well cooked and gravy was having good spiciness.
This place serves great butter chicken and the starters are must try from here. Paneer was so soft and was coated with exact flavourful ingredients. Butter chicken was creamy, on a sweeter side and chicken was soft.

Glad that I ordered our dinner from this restaurant. I ordered Bhatti ka Paneer Tikka, Butter Chicken and Naan. The Paneer Tikka was very flavourful, juicy, soft and very tasty. Butter Chicken was just too good. Very delicious and fresh food. A must try restaurant. Pocket friendly prices and they provide good quantity. Even half plate butter chicken is enough for 3 people.

But i think the price are abit at upper side
There is open space with some table on which they serve food
Best thing is they give each n every item in disposable and you can even carry them with yourself

This place has been there since ages and has earned a well known name, primarily because of the quality and selection of offerings on the menu. Now they even have an dine in restaurant. We tried the Chilly Chicken Dry (half portion). The portion size was good for one person, the veggies were fresh and crispy. The chicken was a bit more oily than to our liking. Well, there is an endless menu to try next time :)

Recently I ordered Butter Chicken, Bhatti ka Paneer and Butter Naan. Both the dishes were amazing. Chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The gravy was rich, tangy and creamy. Paneer tikka was also perfectly marinated and finger licking good. The delivery was right on time and food arrived piping hot. Packaging was also good. The quality and quantity was great.
One of my childhood haunts. Over rated and I think rightly so. The roasted menu items are good for starters. Then one should try the Butter Chicken with tandoori chapatis. They have been doing shawarma rolls long before the others in that area.
Tasty food but very costly.
