Salad Chef @ Vasant Vihar !!!
Salad Chef at C Block Market Vasant Vihar is a joint venture of Chef Sanjay Agrawal and Rakesh...Ex Chef's from Taj and running it successfully since the year 1993 , nearly 28 years in operations now which is commendable indeed. They started it when no one else had ever thought about it no other Foreign brands had entered here. They actually started the concept of Salad bars in buffet and it is an important section now in every buffet with a variety of fresh salads.
Best thing is they make their own salad dressings and each and every dish on the menu had retained the flavors and tastes consistently for years now. Menu is quite elaborate with Soup, Salads, Pastas, Burger, Sandwiches, Quesadillas, Rolls n Paninis. The menu also has Juices, Shakes, Smoothies, Ice tea Coffee and few desserts as well.
Their Cold Coffee is a must have which is a real Coffee with nice aroma and good flavor of Coffee which one doesn't get good in many known Cafe's even. I love salads n Chicken Caesar Salad is my all time favorite which was great with large portion size and full of big chicken chunks ... usually in many places one had to really search for chicken in the salad.
We tried their Smoked chicken salami sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and Jerk Chicken burger which were both nice. Their Chana Masala Sandwich is also a hot selling one.
We carried home the Greek Salad and dressing was given separately so even after 5 - 6 hours the salad was absolutely fresh with a nice crunch.
Wish I was staying close to their outlet ... then would have ordered atleast one salad meal per day ... a very reasonably priced menu.

Salad 🥗, a healthy food, we generally take it alongwith our meal whereas, our one meal should be only Salad, if not everyday, can be alternate day to maintain our body weight and be healthy, this awavekning if one gets at any point of time, is good.
And now after this pendamic it is become all the more important to make your immune system strong, so the salad is one step towards that, to get all the nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins.
There is no need to introduce to Delhiiets about Salad Chef outlet in Vasant vihar C Block Market, running by Chef Sanjay Agarwal recipient of many laurels and Chef Rakesh, for almost three decades. Only while maintaining your standards and consistency, you can sustain for long.
Here you get many options of Salads, Sandwich, Panini, Burger, Pasta,Soups, juices,......... and the best part is that here they make their own variety of sauces and dips, all with fresh ingredients.
Perfect Cold Coffee, with flavour n froth intact, we had here after a long time. Few from the menu ....we relished,
the best of Chicken Caesar Salad, Greek Salad, Smoked Chicken Salami Sandwich, Chana Masala Sandwich, Jerk Chicken Burger, ofcourse we shared, can't have all this in one go by one person.
Home delivery is available in vicinity. Pricing is quite reasonable and pocket friendly. So just start visiting this place again and make it a habit of having Salad regularly !
One of my favourite places to get salads. They prepare customised salads.
Good salads and bread variety. Soups are tasty too...
Sometimes skipping lunch and having an exotic salad with tomato soup is all you crave for..

You will find the prices here competitive but still cheaper from the more popular chain sandwich places.
Food is really good starting from veggies to even the bread and buns. The cooks here know what they are doing. The choice of sauce here is plentiful.
Salad prices can be amendable.
Overall quantity served is enough in terms of a meal.
The place is exceptionally clean and appear to have fresh food supplies.
Loved my first Jerk Chicken Burger. The chicken fillet was well cooked and NOT a bit dry to the taste.
Would love to visit again.
Salad was amazing I'm not sure about the coffee
A great place that offers great salad, sandwich (veg / non veg), burgers, pita pockets options. The staff and manager of this place are very courteous, whether you are a new or existing customer they go an extra mile by giving you some extra salad portion like extra olives or any other ingredient that you may like. I once stepped in at their closing time, still prepared my order. They have happy hours where you can enjoy food items at discounted price. Citibank credit / debit card holders enjoy 15% discount on their bill and they also accept Amex cards.
Space is the issue to enjoy fresh cooked meals a conjusted upper ground or sitting outside is not a good idea , though the place is really impressive.
Keeping the legacy and the shop is one of the oldest gem not much experiments with quality. Maintaining an up to the mark standard.
An excellent place for all bakery items , sandwiches, and ofcourse salads. Well located and manned by trained staff who are friendly and able to make the dish you will love to eat. They also have a home delivery system but these items are best eaten fresh on the spot or if you are nearby. Of special mention are their cakes and pastries.
I have been visiting here from last 9 years and the taste and quality of food served is awesome. Subhash Ji is the head Chef and can prepare things as per your requirements or liking. A must visit place and do try their Steak & Bun, Pasta, Cheese Sandwich and Fruit Salad.
Saladchef is a unique entry in the area. Healthy food prepared quickly, and very easy for takeaway. Employees are helpful and courteous. Am very happy they service C Block market.
For well over a decade Salad Chef is running successfully in the heart of C-block Market, Vasant Vihar. I know everyone at the place, right from Subhash, Singh to Ramesh! Nostalgia overload. The food is nothing short of great. Their burgers are one of a kind. But sandwiches and pastas outdo the burgers. They also have desserts. The best part is customization, the team is so friendly that you might just come back to visit them and not to eat food. Brilliant place, run by wonderful people. A winner through and through.
A wonderful place and heaven for salad eaters. The variety is immense. One can design your own salad as well. Besides salads one can also order sandwiches and fresh juices. Have always loved the place with wonderful service.
Very good salads made fresh as per your food preferences and taste. Consistent taste and hygiene has brought us back to this place repeatedly over the last decade
One of the best places to eat if you are health conscious, also the prices are reasonable considering the quality of food!
