The place is situated next to Chanakya Puri pvr. There are lot of options available but chimney is my favourite place to eat. I love the food specially the momo and it's chutney. If you are fan of local food then you should go there the only thing is the seating area is not so elite but for the value and taste of the food you should definitely try !
I really like the crispy spicy fish here. Have ordered it multiple times. Their crispy chicken is also good. Quantity is good. Will try more dishes from here.

Yashwant complex is famous for Chinese food with plenty of similar looking outlet. We visited the chimney sizzler.
They have small seating area. We ordered the famous chicken momos.
They were absolutely delicious. Plenty of chicken and thin layer of the coating. It was soo Juicy and the chutney was very spicy. Just Loved it. Definitely a must try.
Then we ordered drums of heaven which were fried but not coated in Chinese gravy like the usual drums of heaven. It was served along with a spicy gravy. I would say skip this.
We even tried their noodles which was really tasty. It was full of flavors and perfectly spiced.
Overall If you're craving for momos, you should definitely try this place. It serves one of the momos available in Delhi.
Yashwant Place, or the home of desi momos houses a number of great eateries. If you have herd of the famous juicy chicken and mutton momos of Yashwant Place, and have come to try goood DESI chinese cuisine, Chimney is the place to be.
Like every other eating joint in Yashwant Place, this is also a not so fancy, come, sit, have a quick meal kinda place. Definitely not the fanciest but the experience is its own.
Best thing to eat here? Chicken Momos. Hands down the winner. By a fair margin. It has to be one of the juiciest momos in the whole of Delhi. This place comes close to Yeti in terms of the 'juicy quotient' of the momos but Yeti is Yeti.
Served with red hot chilli momo chutney, the momos here are to die for. Almost all the joints in yashwant place have more or less the same but this still wins it.
Other things to order? Singapore Chowmein, Chicken Chowmein and Chicken Fried Rice.
Starters are good but nothing oomphf about them.

Kebabs were the combo of soft and crunchyness I seriously could feel every bit of slice. I didn't try momos but next time you go there just have their yummilicious momos also .
Yesterday lunch we went to chimney sizzlers in Yashwant place complex, the best desi Chinese I had in Delhi. There are many outlets here all Chinese. We had chilli garlic noodles, chilly potatoes, spring roll and chilly chicken. This was the best I have had in Delhi. Taste was like those roadside thelas and very spicy. Guys if u r looking for desi Chinese this is the place. I am definitely going to have Chinese now on from this place.
Sizzlers are the best at this place. But momos are arguably the best in town since decades.

Chimney sizzler is part of the entire alley filled with restaurants as sidewalk street food kind hub in the Yashwant Place.market and it's in front of the sort of amphitheatre style staircase , closer to the movie theatre end.
The place can seat approx 30 people in one go and the most in demand place here.
Being a regular this has been my go to place for a Chinese craving thing whenever I miss this. A small party for office colleagues - 10 people would be at an average of say about 400 INR per head, of you have great appetite players alongside
The place can customize the food as per your wishes and is very popular for paneer, veg, chicken and mutton Momo's. A little oily , but indeed juicy.
Drums of heaven and chilly chicken can actually give nightmares to competition nearby.
The place is also cool to let you chill and be comfy and binge while you can also chill on cold drinks .

I come to this place only for chicken steam momos as nobody in entire Delhi/NCR sells momos like these. I have been visiting this place for 10 years and the taste of the momos have not even a little bit. The chilly chutney served with the momos is the spiciest. I love to visit this place every month.

I went there with my Family. We ordered Chicken Momos which is a specialty there. Drums of heaven was good with some special puree and Chilly Potato. Chilly Potato was really good and different from other places.

I have been visiting this place since childhood and bet that you will not get juicier momos anywhere. Pork and chicken momos are the best.
They give 8 momos in one plate. Over the years the size of momos have become smaller and the rates have considerably gone up but the taste makes up for it.
I absolutely love the pork steamed momos from here. Arguably some of the best momos I’ve ever jad had my life. The juice just oozes out of the dumplings that are already so soft and flavourful.

BEST chicken steam & chicken fried momos. They serve 8 pieces in one plate. Loved this place. I used to go there a lot after college. You can try chilli chicken, honey chilli potato, noodles also. They can also get you beer if you ask for it.

I prefers their Veg steamed momos and the veg hot and sour soup, you guys can choose your specials as well as they have many choices to pick from. Had heard about this hidden gem from a couple of people and so one winter night we decided to finally try it out. Located right behind the swanky Chanakya mall lies these herd of shops in Yashwant Shopping Complex who are known for amazing dishes in an absolutely reasonable price.
Firstly, there is no ambience...more so because of the budget friendly nature of these places, they don't need to maintain an entire seating arrangement...so be prepared to sit on plastic chairs and be a little uncomfortable.
Food is undoubtedly the attraction here and they really care about what they are serving. The servers are quick and good with the options. We ordered pork momos, chicken thukpa, and lemon tangy soup.
Quantity of food is amazing considering you get a hearty bowl of chicken thukpa for around 170 to 180 rupees, which frankly is enough to fill your tummy. So, it's a total value of money deal.
Food was yummy and special mention to the pork momos which was a total winner...juicy pork in wafer thin momos that were an absolute melt in the mouth delight. Thukpa and soup were prepared well and were very hearty.
We are definitely gonna keep coming back for more!

I have been ordering food from this place for last 15 uears now and the quality of food has always been great. The staff is very courteous and food specially chicken momos, mutton seekh masala and chopsuey have been outstanding.
If you are looking for delicious yet pocket friendly Chinese cuisine, this is the place to be. My recommendations would be Honey Chilli potato, Fried rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken and Prawn Momos.

Located in Chanakyapuri, is this outlet which has been there for many years now and still sells one of the best tasting classic steamed momos period. Its a fast food eating outlet and has over the years become more Indianised perhaps to cater to taste buds of the masses out there.
This outlet was one of the very few outlets which used to give authentic Chinese food as the taste very much resembled more like the north eastern food. I do want to try out the the rest of the dishes which this place has to offer. I recommend this place to everyone.

Ohh my my, chimney sizzlers have always been one of our favourite chineese food place, located in the yashwant place complex with many other food joints and a newly opened PVR adjacent to it. It is like whenever I want to eat some fresh and juicy momos, I travel from dwarka to chanakyapuri without a doubt. This time we had
1. Chicken steam momos
2. Fish steam momos
3. Chicken chopsuey
Their momos are for sure one of the best you could find in delhi with proper filling and a thin outer layer of maida.
Same goes for the fish momos, fish filling is very tender and juicy.
And chicken chopsuey is very enjoyable with all the taste intact.
ALTHOUGH THEY DON’T SERVE ALCOHOL, THEY MAY ALLOW IT.

First place to have such big momos and tasty momos, this was the first place where I got full with just one plate momos, bad thing is this they charge for mayonnaise, I would suggest them to at least give mayonnaise once.

It's very old & Best place to eat momos. I visited here first time 12 years ago and whenever I visit chanakyapuri i always had momos from chimney. There steam & fried momos both are good, chutney was too spicy. It's very small place to sit so it's better to sit in car & eat.
Loved the Momos and Vegetarian Chowmein, thia place is famous for momos and eatery joint the ambience is amazing dont get confused many shop have similar name perfevt evening snack time place worth coming, the staff is also polite and helpful there are varieties available, they have two unit in chanakyapuri No 10 and No.16 apart from this they have outlet in gurgaon and saket also, the taste is amazing during peak hours hard to get parking.

Steam momos amazing…..place is small so one can sit outside and order….normally each order will take 10to12 minutes…fruit beer is good…did not like fried momos…quantity was good more than one ask for…1 steam momos…1 fried momos…fried rice…chicken garlic gravy…1 fruit beer …and 1 mineral water…bill was 1000/- rs.
There are plenty shops to try momos but to get the right one is important…one can go here for momos and Chinese food.
Parking is there outside by the road or you can park at mall which I close by .

Amazing momos!! Best red chilli chutney!
Open since the 80s, Chimney is one of the first places in the city to serve street momos. And remains one of the best places! The taste and quality have remained unchanged for years. And the taste is just excellent.
What to look out for?
• Best spicy red chilli chutney/sauce ever! It's extra hot, super flavorful and opens up all your tastebuds. If you can't stand the heat, I'd suggest ordering mayo and/or soft drinks to go with it.
• Large portion sizes. Items can seem pricey (considering it's street food), but the quantities are very large. One plate of momos can fill one person completely for a meal.
• Other items, apart from momos, are also worth a try. I'd recommend the spring rolls!
• Service is super quick, and the food is served piping hot. The patron and wait staff are warm and welcoming yet unobtrusive. Plus personally, since I've been going for years, it feels great to be recognised as a regular.
• It's open until late at night when other eateries in the area have shut down. So, it's a go-to when you're in a pinch.
• One downside for some people could be the surroundings. You get to sit down and eat on plastic chairs (or outside on benches). It's right next to a subway market, a cinema and a government office, so don't expect the best ambience or views.
Visit because you've heard of it often from momo lovers, keep returning for the taste!
The place is every penny worth. chicken momos are worth drooling. We had chicken steak sizzler , and we didn't even leave the cabbage bowl. It was that yum. You shud at least visit once here for these two dishes.

Hello everyone, it's been 6 months I've left delhi still i need to post this. I have rarely seen a person as momo fanatic as i am. THEIR MUTTON MOMO IS THE BEST MOMO I HAVE EVER TASTED. Period.
I am gald it was open for dine in because i was not sure if it was open because of corona.. i visited in the late afternoon so it was empty.. ordered mutton momos, chicken thupka and chicken steak sizzler.. sizzler and thupka was nice but mutton momos were not good.. there was too much soya mixed in the filling so the momos were tasting more of soya than mutton.. thupka had the fried chicken pieces which on one hand defeated the concept of it being healthy but the other hand it gives such a nice taste.. heard the spring rolls are also good but couldn't eat more.. maybe next tym.. worth visiting again.
