i like gurdev food very much i eat many dishes in gurdev restaurant but sometimes there service is slow not all time but some time specialy on sundays

One might argue about the sanitation, to those. their food is fresh you will be spared of kept/refrigerated food. if your tummy is too sensitive, you shouldn't risk it.
If you have come so far, don't leave without trying their Kheer. You can thank me later.

Very tasty food! Easy to find. Near to hostel. They serve very good chai. The staff don't speak very well English but they aretl trying their best to welcome foreigners.. they provide local price for traveller which makes me feel comfortable eating here. They kept the restaurant clean. It's not smelly and dirty
Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff and accommodating for dietary restrictions! Note- they didn't make naan for late afternoon orders at the time I was there (Oct 2023), but the man who helped me said that they would be making naan after 630pm.

Good Punjabi food available here . The thick and delicious lassi is the highlight here. The puri chhole with lassi serves as one of the best breakfast dishes to have. Nearby to zostel and other hotels in paharganj.
One of the best and also cheapest meals we had in India. The looks of the restaurant may not be appealing, but the food is really a must-try. The waiter was helpful when trying to choose the dishes and adjusting the spiciness level.

If you are looking for a decent priced good Punjabi place for food then you have come to the right place. Do try their chole bhature and lassi. In general i liked everything they served and since they take pride in their quality of food, you will be more comfortable in ordering anything. I went with 3 more people, had a full lunch but the bill didn't exceed more than 500. Loved the experience.
Undoubtedly the best place for veg thali in Arakashan road. I noticed a guy making delivery to a hotel and immediately asked the hotel manager where it was from. The next day I went to this restaurant and I am so glad that I did. It's a rather small 2 storied restaurant and the ambience is not for those who are hygiene conscious. But those who love food irrespective of location and surroundings, this place is for them. I ordered Gurudev special thali which was served hot and with dessert. The following day I ordered their Deluxe thali along with Lassi. Trust me, their lassi was the best I have ever had. Their thalis were also quite delicious, were full of flavours especially the veg item that came with the special thali. It reminded me of the thalis I had at Sri Udupi Park restaurant in Bangalore. I definitely would've tasted their other times if I had some more time.

BEST channa masala of my life. Went back a second time just to be sure. This place is not fancy, but it's damn good. Plus, in the evenings the place next door sells warm turmeric milk that is magical.
After a few meals at Gurdev’s we can say this is an amazing choice for anyone looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner in Paharganj. The selection is great and after trying a lot of items they’ve all been delicious and hearty.
Food is actually quite good than other restaurant in Paharganj. Prices are reasonable. You will not get Non Veg food here. The cons are it's not an AC restaurant and tables and chairs are quite small and not so comfortable. But quality of food is quite good and delicious.
So if you want to eat delicious veg food and looking for a budget friendly restaurant then you can visit Gurdev Punjabi Restaurant. Here you can order Thali food or you can choose individual item just like I did. :)
