Since 5 years I have been going to this place to have Chinese food, very good service, atmosphere is also good, the food quality and quantity is sufficient, overall excellent.
This place is walking distance from my place and one of the best restaurants offering Chinese cuisine. Ambience is amazing. The signature dish Manchurian is the best.
Best Chinese in Lajpat Nagar . You will get everything here pork chicken seafood and duck dishes and beautiful ambiance. It's a bit pricy but good food doesn't come cheap.
The lemon ice tea was beautiful in taste and looks. We had pork dimsums and honey crispy chicken my fav.

Authentic Chinese cuisine. Each item was prepared perfectly. Their recipes have not yet fallen victim to forced Indianization; the dishes taste as they should. The decor is okay and the staff showed excellent hospitality. Would live to visit again!
Best chinese restaurant so far. I love the flavours they infuse in their food. Usually when i eat chinese, i end up having headache due to heavily added ajinomoto. But chinese here is not like that. Very nice flavours and no headache after eating haha!
Very old and authentic Chinese outlet.I l like this outlet.Many times I visited there for their hakka noodles.service was good.The decor was in Chinese style like name (dragon).Their manchow soup was superb. The price was high to some extent.

Went to this awesome chinese outlet last evening. We had Pork dimsums to start with, which was as incredibly amazing as their red chutney cum salsa sauce served with it. Next was Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, which was just okay because the chicken was a little soggy and is supposed to be crispy. Their honey chilli potato is really good.
Our server was really courteous and ambience overall was good. Just one thing, 465 INR for a breezer? Seriously?

Spring rolls. The most outstanding dish to take here. Here the beauty is the perfect quality of vegetables like onions, cabbage beans etc which gives a wonderful taste.

Ok so this place really serves some generous quantities of food... was there with my mum n a friend d other day...ordered some crispy honey chilly potatoes with goa kings beer (surprise surprise i found it in delhi) for starters... the crispy potatoes were really well made.. my mum gave it a huge thumbs up lol...for mains we had pork ribs, sliced pork in black bean sauce, mixed meat noodles and chcken fried rice... the food was light n immensely enjoyable.. d ambience isnt great shakes but service was great. I'd recommend this place to fulfill your cravings for chinese food!!
I cannot count the number of times my family, friends and I have hungrily devoured food at the Golden Dragon. As a child, many of my birthdays have been celebrated at this wonderful place so there's a soft spot for this one.
My evergreen favorites are the salt and pepper fish, kimchi salad, chicken gyoza, Thai Red Curry, Butter and Garlic Sauce Fish, Chili Garlic Noodles and Ginger Rice.
If you are in for a decent dining with your family or you just want to have a different dine out place, you can visit this one.
Will be a little expensive on your pocket but the food will make it worth.

The most authentic place for Chinese in the lajpat nagar area. Loved their take on classic Chinese cuisine. Even the most simple thing like hakka noodle were soo good that I'm left to wonder what crap I have been eating in the name of Chinese.
This place serves pretty decent Chinese food.
The quantity that they give is more than any other place in the country.
Service is also decent.
The ambience is just ok.
I think they should improve the interiors and furniture.

Food- My favourite here is spring rolls and chilli chicken. Their gravy of Chicken Manchurian and fried rice works best as a comfort food.
Service- The service is speedy here.

Very recently a evening I visited here, Nice dark place. When we entered live music was going on, and that was nice. The chef special combo appetizer which we ordered there had 5 starters - dahi kabab, and veg kabab, tandoori , potatoes and paneer. It was fabulous tasty.
We also enjoyed paneer combo, which had paneer makhani, and dal makhani with butter naan--this too was really good and tasty served in quantity with good service Service people there were really alert and ready to present quick whatever we ordered. Eatables were served in decorative stationary that appealed eyes and increased our hunger, we loved the place nd food.

I have always been a crazy for chinese food. Last night, I went to The Golden Dragon to have dinner. This was my first visit to the outlet at Lajpat Nagar. The interior decoration with some Chinese touch in it was complementing the name. Ambiance of the restaurant was quite relaxing to me. Spacious seating arrangement was enabling the guests to sit comfortably.
Billy Bunter and Summer Saviour were the drinks ordered by me. Lime and orange in Summer Saviour juice was mixed in a way that it soothed me in the sultry days of summertime. After drinking it completely, I felt much relaxed. When it’s The Golden Dragon, Should I miss their Dimsums? Of course, not. And, it wouldn’t be exaggeration to say that they have maintained consistency in quality.
In appetizer, I took Honey Chilli Potato, Lotus Stem Dry with Crispy Spinach, and Veg Sushi. Though all were nice yet Lotus Stem Dry with Crispy Spinach was finger-licking. Pieces of Lotus stem were well-fried and the spicy sauce taste of the crispy spinach leaves was showing the efficiency of the chefs.
Then, came Veg Fried Rice and Thai Green Curry. As the veggies of Thai Green Curry were cooked in coconut milk, the flavor stands out perfectly carrying the essence of Thai cuisines. I had closed the meal with Chocolate Brownie and Hot Chocolate Fudge. The dessert Chocolate Brownie was served to me with vanilla ice-cream. Chocolate juice over the brownies was creating an outstanding taste.
All in all, if you believe that good food creates good mood, you should visit this restaurant at least once.
I was in the mood to try something new and landed at The Golden Dragon restaurant with my friend.
We started with the Lotus Stem Dry with Crispy Spinach appetiser and it was really nice. Then flowed in some Tequila Sunrise along Tai Chi Chicken and veg Sushi, all being really nice.
The dishes were quite filling so we shared fried rice and thai green curry for the main course while sipping some Summer Saviour mocktail, top quality and sufficient quantity.
The meal had to end with a dessert so I enjoyed some Hot Chocolate Fudge for myself and would call it a good experience. Priced well, this is a go to place for the days you want to eat a lot!!

The Golden Dragon is a familiar name for people of Delhi NCR. From the past 44 years, the restaurant is serving chinese cuisine and this is enough to tell about its legacy..
The place has a chinese aura with plush furniture and decor to give a Chinese touch. Ambience is done in red and beige color and is very cosy. Also the seating capacity is quite large.
Talking about the food here, it seems they maintained the authenticity of preparations, without much experimentation to impress and satisfy Indian palate.
Tried many dishes and mentioning the ones i loved.

All the drinks we ordered were refreshingly good and had goodness of fruit juices blended well with ice.

Lotus Stem Dry with crispy spinach
Lotus stem discs deep fried with spring onions with right mix of sauces with dry red chilly. Also the fried spinach leaves were crispy and tasted good
Fish Finger Shanghai Style
This was the Chinese version of fish fingers, very minimally fried and cooked in very less amount of sauces. It was a very different dish for us and we all loved it to the core
Tai Chi Chicken
Chicken chunks prepared well in chinese sauces with veggies and hint of honey was delightful to the tastebuds.
Sushi
It was my first ever experience of trying sushi, so I made sure that I try it from authentic restaurant, so decided to order veg sushi. It was wrapped in the seaweed leaf and served with wasabi and sushi sauce.Cucumber and carrot rolled inside the sweet rice rolls was so good.
Main Course
Thai green curry
Classic Thai curry cooked in coconut milk and veggies like broccoli, bell peppers, carrots and kaffir lime leaves for aromatic flavors. Tastes best when served with steamed rice.
Kung Pao Chicken
The sauce had cashew nuts present in it which was made it taste quite fantastic. Chicken was cooked properly and the sauce’s flavour reached to the core.
Desserts
Chocolate Brownie
Soft brownie served with vanilla ice cream is an old school dessert loved by everyone. The chocolate syrup over the vanilla ice cream was outstanding.
Hot Chocolate Fudge
With the goodness of hot fudge and freezing vanilla ice cream, this is yet another old school dessert, topped with lots of nuts and chocolate sauce, taste so divine.
Overall my experience was great trying out some lip smacking chinese dishes.
Staff was very polite and made sure the food is served hot and on time.
Great place to visit with family and friends. And not to forget it is pocket friendly as well.
This was my second time with The Golden Dragon and being very much pleased with the food at its Vasant Vihar outlet which also happens to be its mother branch, this compelled me to try the food at some other outlet to see whether the same taste can be replicated or not. For that I chose to dine in at Lajpat Nagar for a lunch along with my friends, the place offered same warmth and hospitality was top-notch. Interior is done in a way to give a Chinese touch and ambience was pretty calm and soothing. Seating capacity is large and could easily accommodate more than 50 guests at a time.
Very good food and equally good service. The servings are bigger. A highly recommended place for good chinese food. I used to go there when I was a kid, and it was one of my favourite back then and now also.

Definately recommend a try
I have been going to this place ever since my childhood but after a long gap of almost 5 years went to eat here today.The place still has that charm what it had before but the crowd seems to be much lesser these days. The service also seemed to have deteriorated than before. The food was nonetheless quite good with the right amount of spices and a very generous quantity of meat in the noodles and dishes which is not very common in other places these days. We ordered Kingfisher beer and stir fried chicken with grilled vegetables to start with and followed it up with the Golden Dragon mixed meat noodles. All this was enough quantity for three people and the bill also came to a decent amount. Overall a nice place for a dine out.
I think only non-veg lovers would be able to relate to this review. The mixed meat noodle that I ordered was actually a mixed MEAT noodle. Not just vegetarian noodles with small pieces of meat thrown scantily over it. This kind of generosity was what made me satisfied with my order and also made a give it a good rating and high recommendation.

Seafood is something that a non-vegetarian rarely dislikes. For me it is one of my favorites provided that it is cooked properly and is served fresh. With numerous restaurants serving sea food in the city today, it becomes very difficult to name the one that houses the best, but if you ask me about the names of places that serve it well cooked and fresh, then I might certainly be able to help you. One suggestion would be the Golden Dragon located in the Lajpat Nagar-2 area. Apart from serving a variety of seafood, they also offer a fine range of Chinese.
Went here a few days ago and had the following-
Golden Tiger Prawn- These prawns were well spiced and properly cooked. Tasted good.
Chilly Chicken- The pieces were a bit chewy, but the taste was fine.
Tempura Prawns- Extremely spicy. Spicy food lovers can check this one out.
Sui Mai- Neither too good nor too bad. Addition of certain spices would really be good.
Garlic Chicken- Served with a flavored white sauce and had a nice taste.
This was all that I had that day and think that it could be a decent choice for Seafood and Chinese fanatics.
Improvisation of quality to a little extent is definitely recommended though!
P.S.-They also have an active home delivery system, just in case you might want to order from here.
If you want to have an authentic chinese food you should visit to this place, although you can find some better places than this but still who doesnt like a good old family chinese restaurant when you crave for chinese food. If you feel you dont want to spend big bucks on restaurants like side wok or flaming wok. This is a good option and if you are going there try the golden tiger prawn its subtle and full of flavours(prawn flavour).
I've always heard about Golden Dragon 🐉 but never been to one. Finally ordered chilly chicken last week.
It came in a nice packing and bang on time. The quantity is huge and enough for 2 people. The pieces were tiny and lot so it's hard to make out a proper piece.
But looking at the neat packaging it's difficult to compare this with others. Not a bad experience afterall.

Competition for fine chinese restaurant is increasing day by day in Delhi but still i would say The Golden Dragon restaurant is best for chinese cuisine. The quantity of food is very satisfying. I have had been there many times but till date they never disappointed me. The service provided is also fast. We don't have to wait for long for food.A must go place.
The brand is old, grand and has a loyal following. The interior is strikingly catchy in this branch. It's wide, spacious & give us that old world China town flavour that is increasingly diminishing. One great thing about their menu is that they don't put limitation, almost. Yes, they serve Pork which is a rarity in this part of the world. The chilly pork was, however, devoid of any succulent or juice. It was pathetically dry & lack of sauce made matters worse. However, this has not always be like that. I have had Pork Chilli dry fry earlier here & it was good. But something was amiss on that day. The mix meat noodles is brilliantly good & a definite go. The serving of beer helps you quench your thirst when such dry pork stumble in your throat. Of course, they were served chilled. Go there for a regular Chinese experience with Beer as a great companion. It's reasonably priced. Cheers!

I have been a regular visitor of Golden Dragon restaurants and I usually shuffle between their different outlets like Lajpat Nagar, Hauz Khas, Preet Vihar & Noida. Though this particular outlet is my favorite. I started with Golden Dragons from this restaurant only
The food is awesome and every time I visited I have found the same consistent taste in their food. The ingredients are fresh and the spices are done just right. The service is also good as the staff is always attentive and sensitive to customer's requirements and queries.

The food is enticing.. The preparation takes a thumbs up, with freshly cooked meal right in front of you, to dip into the Chinese Sea of flavours.. The aromas appeals you, in a much more fantasising way..
The staff is well versed.. Well aware of everything that they should be - about the place they're serving at.
Won't say a pocket friendly pick, but definitely a worth going experience..

whenever i crave for chinese food and fine dining i head to this place. But hygeince can be a real concern because I saw a tiny miny mouse enjoying his feast under one of the tables(Not a wonderful sight of course). Though i complained to the manager about it I still cant help going back to that place :P Great food!
I have heard mixed reviews about Golden Dragone, however, I think it's all about what you order.
So order the mixed non vegetarian rice and a Hong Kong chicken, if not chicken order the duck. They are really tasty, with subtle flavours.
The seating arrangement is comfortable and the music is usually good, covers of 80s songs.
The staff is really courteous and make you feel like a valued customer.
For all beer lovers, they have the less found, much liked, kalyani beer.

You simply cannot like the Chinese food here to any other place. The food, without a doubt is fantastic, their service is impeccable and I think that's what brings me here again. I totally recommend this place.
One amongst the many restaurants in the Golden Dragon group of restaurants. It is located in Lajpat Nagar - 2 and serves some really authentic and delicious chinese cuisine. From the outside the place looked a little bit on the smaller side to me..but as soon as i had entered the restaurant all my concerns and apprehensions were flushed away. Place is very spacious with an excellent ambiance. Seats are the most comforting with both sofas and chairs being available. Staff is courteous and very cooperative. Starters like Tiger prawns in salt and pepper style and Crispy mustard chicken are delectable and a treat for the taste buds. Overall a great place to have awesome chinese food!

I dined at this restaurant recently. One of the few restaurants which will serve you dishes which may differ from the average food taste of Chinese. Seafood is good and so are the noodles.
Out of nowhere, right at the signal corner.....a warm quiet secluded place. No shor sharaaba, great time for friends family meet-up with good outer space.
The Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant was fantastic! The place felt cozy and the service was really good. I loved their Szechuan chicken; it was full of flavor! We reached the restaurant at 11.40 am, a bit early. The restaurant opens at 12 noon. However they did not ask us to go away. Instead they opened the door, took the order and order was served after 12 pm. We enjoyed sitting in the restaurant in the meantime and watched the staff cleaning the hall. We ordered only spring roll and clear vegetable soup for a branch. It was authentic Chinese cuisine and very tasty. We liked the food and made a plan for visiting sometime again for dinner. An enjoyable experience indeed.

It's iconic for a reason. Top food and fantastic portion size and prices. The hotel and washrooms are kept spic and span. The service is also very good. A total family weekend place.

We were there for lunch on Thursday. Being a weekday it was not busy. It's a nice place, the ambience is good. Outdoor seating, canopies and the placement of sufficient plants makes it worthwhile sitting outside. We ordered lettuce wraps with mushroom and tofu, and spicy fried rice with mix veg in red curry. The portions were enough for 2 people. Taste, quality and hygiene was in order. Staff was courteous and helpful. Worth a visit.
Toilets are clean. Since we took the metro and it is at the corner of main road so am unsure about parking space.
Mix veg pan fried noodles is a must try here. Other items were also good. Only negative is that the waiters will keep reminding you that they don't charge service fee and hence ask for tip. Which I find is a little odd.
