Though Urdu Bazaar is famous For Karim's and Al jawahar but You Can try this Restaurant also......it is near jama masjid gate no 1 ....... there is 2 floors..... if you are with family you can sit on first floor.....
we ordered some kabab and changezi with khameeri roti and trust it was really awesome.......they have some special kashmiri cuisine now.....so if you want to try kashmiri food this place is must visit
This is the place just opp jama masjid. Had come here with a review from my friends to taste their Shami kabab. Absolutely it's the best in the locality among all.
We ordered mutton korma, chicken biryani and tandoori roti. Loved the chicken biryani. I’ve never had a biryani where the chicken pieces were as juicy as this one. The mutton korma was great but the pieces were a bit undercooked.
This a small oulet oppesite jama Masjid and offer unbeatable nonveg.
I am a frequent visitor. Whenever i visit Jama Masjid area, i make sure i am dinning at this place or take away my food.
Shami kababs are amazingly good. I mainly love this place for their shami kababs. I never skip ordering those.
Chicken takatak is a very different type of chicken which they prepare. It is a must try.
One must also try fried chicken
This place is very economic and a treat to taste buds.

Butter Chicken, Chicken Changezi, Chicken seekh kabab, Mutton seekh kabab with Tandoori Butter Naan.
A chandni chowk outlet and ofcourse the expectations here would be high. And it lives upto them. Extremely delicious food, one of the best main course chicken I've ever had. Seekh, both chicken and Mutton, were soft, juicy and masaledaar. Worth the shot, if you're around chandni chowk.
One of the best places in town if you are looking for superb Mutton curries. Had Mutton Nahari and Mutton Korma and loved both, the mutton is super soft and cooked extremely well. Do try their Chicken Fry as well which is killer.

if you are in delhi and you are a great fan of chicken, u must visit this place. I always visit this very restaurant when I m in town. This time I took a friend of mine with me too and he says he'll thank me forever for it. ;)
I went to this place yesterday.
They have good amount of seating.
I had "shami kabab which are a must try"
Other than that i had nahari which wasnt that good
And i also had chicken changezi which was good aswell. Chicken changezi is a spicy dish. So if u love spicy food u gotta try it.
Located just opposite to jama masjid.
Have a decent sitting area and a good staff too.
Coming to the food part, I tried there chicken and mutton burra which were ok ok.
I didn't like it much, may be because I have tried far better Barra's.
Still a decent place to hog on with friends.
Especially who want to taste the food of purani dilli but don't want to enter in a crowded place.Eat Classy🦄

A visit to Old Delhi is always incomplete without having great food. I came to this restaurant for the very 1st time and it was a treat. It is located on the road going to Jama Majid on the right side, just 600meters before the Food Gali.
The seating is good and the staff is welcoming. Coming straight to the food:
Chicken Shaami Kabab: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! These are the best Shaami Kababs I have ever had in my life and trust me I have had many. When you cut it you will feel the keema coming out like cheese in a pizza. The taste is just amazing! Do give it a try for sure.
Fried Chicken: This one was decent in taste. I won't say one of the best I have had but overall quite satisfactory.
Chicken Katakat: HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We were so full so hardly had any space for this one but just taste a piece of it and it was lip smacking. So got it packed and enjoyed it next night for dinner and still tasted so good.
The only negative is that they do not have a debit card machine, so make sure you have cash. They do accept paytm though.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would love to visit them again and taste some more good food. I would urge all the goodies to try them out at least once.
We are from Malaysia. We tried to find some proper place to eat while visiting Jama Masjid. This place looks proper compared to others. We tried chicken biryani, mutton curry, and fried chicken. We tried to order chowmein and fried rice but was not available that time. The biryani is plenty, two of us can't even finish a quarter. It was too spicy anyway. We do eat spicy food in Malaysia, but it was just too much for us to take. The curry and fried chicken was good.
Really amazing place near Jama Masjid.Food is really great.We ordered Fried chicken and chicken tikka.We also ordered chicken chowmien but it wasn't available.
This place has variety of chicken , i ordered kadhai chicken and mutton biryani and they give lot of quantity in every food item and the taste was delicious

Must have desert as kheer which is the speciality of this place

Anwar food corner have a variety of dishes at a good price and have a very good services and also they serve chicken,moton and fish fry at a good price.
Best mughalai dishes with tandoori items,shami kabab , seekh kabab,mutton burra,chicken afghani ,chicken changezi with live cooking chicken kali mirch,mutton nahari ,chicken haleem and last but not least with many more items with kheer benazir😋😋😋
Anwar foods is located on Jama Masjid Road almost directly opposite to Jama Masjid gate no. 1, hardly 10 steps away. Anwar food corner is slightly different restaurants in comparison to the ones around, it not only serves the standard Mughlai but they also do a bit of fusion with other genre as they have Indianized version of Chinese food as well. They have a decent seating arrangement inside the restaurant therefore it's a decent option to dine & takeaway both.
Anwar Food corner is a good food point. I tried their Afghani Chicken tikka. I will recommend you to visit this place.
