This is the old shop located in CP...I ordered Paneer Pakoda which was yummy and pocket friendly..Paid: 20/-(per piece)
One of the oldest shop, must eat is samosas and kachori, the best is Malpua and pakoras, the shop is usually crowded at lunch time, the mithai is equally good, savouries also good, parking available at rs 50 per hour,it is near regal building.
This is near the Spanish embassy and one the most known places amongst the young crowd, I have tried all kinds of pakoraa and gulab jamun. Best thing I would recommend is galub jamun that should be eaten right there.
A one stop destination for all sweet tooth carving ,
From mithias to fast food.. everything is available..
Lassi is one of favourite thing of this outlet - malik sweet..
whenever i visted cp i used to come here for lassi..
I yesterday visit this place and i try paneer pakode and the taste was so yummy.
I also try some sweets and all are super delicious.
Quick bite place.
i have been going here since i was 4 years old. paneer pakoda is a must try! it's been 20 years now and it still tastes just the same. always a good experience
Malik Sweet Shop is available in CP near Janpath market. It's a snacks shop with different sweets. A gud hangout place for north indian snacks lovers.
They provide different types of snacks like samosa, chole bhature, aaloo kachori, paneer pakode etc.
Crispy samosa is USP of this place.
Person having sweet tooth must try Gajar ka Halwa and Gulab Jamun from here.
Karachi Halwa is also yummy.
Different types of Burfi like Sohan Burfi, Kesar coconut burfi is also different as compared to other burfi and tastier than usual also.
Snacks with reasonable rates is gud option to try.
Sitting is not available but one can have snacks on standing tables.
Shop is available on main road however parking would not be an issue for visitors.
Neatness is well taken care of.
Took my back to my childhood days, their paneer malpua, paneer samosa and chole bhature they are simple dishes but tastier than anything else. Really loved it.
This is one of my most-favourite outlets in Delhi. I have been eating from this place since I was a toddler! I would sincerely recommend you try their Paneer Pakoda (I have never had anything like this anywhere ever!). Their lunch timings are 12pm-3 pm and everything gets finished off by them.
I always order Rajma chawal, paneer pakoda and Choley Bhature for myself and I honestly don’t feel heavy after having it all. I’m sure they use good quality ingredients because I don’t feel bloated one bit!
This place is always packed no matter what time you visit.
Malik uncle is an incredible host!
My Dad has introduced me to this place and from there on, I have been going there. I cannot get over the super yummy Paneer Pakoda, Chole Bhature and Biryani they serve. And I ain't talking about the mithai Malik Sweets rather, you take a just right from the shop, behind it is the place you will find these things. You gotta go there once and taste their food. Hope you enjoy it!
My Mum and Dad speak about their food travels and the places they loved to eat at... Malik Sweets is always found in that list.
A person who has spent time, during the late Eighties and early Nineties, in Connaught Place surely knows about this sweet shop.
It is especially known for its scrumptious Moong ki dal ka halwa (Mung Bean Pudding).
Even my grandparents fondly remember this shop. So, unable to resist, I have been to this place three or four times now.
Their Halwa is made in desi ghee. Its a must try for all foodies meandering in CP.
The other sweet delicacies are also really well prepared. The best part about this place is that, they use ghee as the fat base. This is quite ironical as better located and maintained sweet shops tend to use unhealthier fat base than ghee.
This is why I really liked the shop.
Do try it out...
Cheers....

This is a sweet and snacks shop located in cp. No seating space is available. Its is a very old and famous shop. Been here quite a few times and ive tried samosa, paneer samosa, paneer pakora and milk cake as of now. Samosa and paneer samosa both were generously filled and filling of both is yum! Paneer pakora was just okay. Everything here is decently priced too and doesnt burn a hole in your pocket. Ive been wanting to try their chhole bhature being a die hard chhole bhature lover and will update the review as soon as i do so. Overall, this is a decentl place for quick snacking in cp.
Recommended 🙂

Purely for Chholle Bhature...They are heavenly....Too bad that they only serve it till lunch time. And if you come a little past 3, you are only getting samosas and bread pakodas, which honestly are avoidable. But the chholle bhature are not.
Cheers!!!
Chole Bhature - Chart - Gol Guppe - the place is not very clean to sit & dine in ..however the taste compensates for the hygiene & ambience .. when in Janpath , a must try !
I have been here many times. My favourite is lassi and chole bhature. Both tastes good. Once i had rajma chawal. which was average. Still this place is good for street food lovers.
Now most people don't know there is a hidden place called 'malik namkeen' just behind this shop. It has been there for decades now. Serving awesome Paneer pakodas at unbelievably cheap prices is the highlight. Even the matar Paneer samosas are pretty good. The amount of Paneer in the pakoda is beyond your expectation at just Rs19.
I would say Paneer lovers should definitely try this. Can't say whether the Paneer is naturally prepared or what but this hidden shop has been there preparing them for ages now.
Even serve other snacking items.
Malik Sweets basically a sweet shop followed by quick snack n savouries which are delectable in taste < the place can be easily spotted from the famous janpath market.
A small shop serving the sweet souls since ages.
The aloo tikki chaat I had here is one of the best I've had till date ! I didn't get to try much of anything else other than the gol gappas and the chaat, both were pretty good! It's a bit far from the main Connaught place blocks and a stone's throw away from palika bazaar so I would recommend it only if you have a lot of time to explore.
Best place to have authentic malpuas in delhi.
They serve malpua without any chashni also.very thick n malaidaar.i m yet to find a place where i can have apart from this place.

Amidst all the hustle bustle of this great place, there is a small outlet somewhere at the road behind Regal cinema, that has been serving cheap delicacies since the time I can remember. Paneer pakoda, chhole bhature, vada sambhar are some of its classic. Worth a check if you want to eat some Indian junk food.
4 for the paneer pakora and lassi....
very nice pakoras and lassi is also refreshing...the only thing which is not up the mark is its location..u have to park ur car near by hanuman mandir and go through a walk...
else everything is fine..
One will have to search a lot if you are not familiar with CP and its super confusing blocks and circles. The easier way to reach here is to walk along the McDonalds at regal and take a right turn if you are going from McD to Janpath, it is located in the middle circle.
So I had these awesome paneer samosas some 2-3 years back when my dad got them packed for home and I quickly asked the whereabouts of this place, and for 17rs the fully stuffed ONLY paneer samosa was superb value for money.
So I decided to visit htis place a few weeks back in the evening. To my surprise they still had 2 samosas left (they fry in the afternoon) but sadly they were not hot n fresh, a microwaved samosa didnt tasted that good as it was but the stuffing was the same at 20rs now :D
Bread pakoras are yummy too, but avoid the kachoris
One must try this eatery if you are short on money and high on appetite :P
Taste: 3.5/5
Value for money: 5/5
Ambience: Doesn't really matter, you have to stand and eat :D
Located somewhere near Hanuman Mandir, the place has many things to offer.I have been visiting this place with my family for over 10 years now.The entire shop is divided into 2 cubicles, one serving mainly sweets and the other one serving meals like rajma-chawal. chhole-chawal and snacks like matar kachori, cheese pakora, palak pakora, bread pakora and matar samosa's.For the side sweet dishes their mal pua's are the best.
The shop has no place to sit but a few tables are put up for you to stand and eat.Cheese pakoras are famous here but by the evening there is not even one left and they do not make things again the same day once they are all sold out.The legacy still continues and the taste remains the same.
Happy Eating!

The phrase ‘’ Old is gold “ fit for this Namkeen Malik shop …. They maintain the same nostalgic taste for years…. Must try Paneer Pakora…
Very old and popular Seeets and Namkeen joint in CP. Famous for its Paneer pakoda, samaosa and other snacks. Variery of Sweets available. Paid parking is also available.
A one stop destination for all sweet tooth carving ,
From mithias to fast food.. everything is available..
Lassi is one of favourite thing of this outlet - malik sweet.. whenever i visted cp i used to come here for lassi..
If you like to eat paneer pakodas, then you can eat paneer pakodas here. Although you will find many dishes here, but paneer pakoda is the best. The price is 30 rupees for one paneer pakoda.
Back side malik sweets
This is for Malik nankeen and not the sweet shop. They are two different entities altogether. It's one of the oldest shop in the area, serving variety of snacks and rice combinations. My personal favorite are its paneer pakoda and Samoa. A must visit if u are a snacks fan
One of the best shop in CP, with outstanding taste of food.
Good sweets central location, good samosa 15/- per piece with green chutney yummy
Yummyy!! Every time i hear Malik Sweets my mouth gets all watery.. their samosas and Break Pakodas are just wow. They are well-known not only for their sweets, but also for their delicious meals. Try their Kadhi-chawal or Rajma-chawal combos. Although their quantity is more than enough that two people can easily share one plate. Excellent taste👌👌There’s a parking just outside their shop so you can park your car or bike and enjoy 😉
All sweets and snacks are tasty. Everyone likes it. But rate are some high.
The shop is situated near janpath market. Although this shop is not that big but you can have a variety of snacks here. Sitting is available at the ground floor and first floor. Though the sitting is not that spacious but comfortable.
In the posh area like canaught place, this shop is a good place for budget food. You can have a variety of snacks and sweets at reasonable prices. Overall a good place.
Very small place in CP Janpath. But always crowded because the food is really tasty and quite affordable. Chole Bhature and Rajma Chawal are yummy. Another counter for sweets which has all kind of sweets. Gulabjamun and Rabri are ultimate. You can binge on them if you have a sweet tooth.
Although the shop is at/near main road of Rajiv Chowk(CP) back side of Regal building complex but can't be seen from main road, hence the customer who are knowing its location only visits this shop. This is a very old shop.I am visiting here for the last about 40 years. The people confused this shop's location with a big sweets shop adjacent to it. This is a small shop about 8 x 8 foot. The taste and aroma of snacks and food available is reallly authentic and very satisfying/good. At this place either you order in advance or it is likely that food/snacks of your choice might not available at the time of your visit and you have to wait a little longer. However the most famous paneer pakora and samosas which are reallly unique authentic and tasty is usually available at all times. At lunch time you can enjoy their Rajma chawal/pulao, chorley bhature, kadi chawal, paranthas, mattar paneer pulao etc. which are very tasty/mouthwatering. The rates a little higher can be compensated with good quality/authentic and tasty/mouthwatering food. It will better to take away the food/snacks/stuff of this shop. However you can enjoy a quick bite as the space to eat is less. A good variety of tea is also available here at all times.
If you are malpua fan then do try their yummy malpuas.. I have been eating them since I was a child.. These are in my shopping list whenever I visit delhi.. N don't miss to buy them in my visit.. Pure indulgence
One of the oldest sweet shop tucked between parliament street and baba kharak singh marg. Best way to approach is via parliament street just after hotel park. Two shops are there. The best cheap tasty and desi food you can get in this whole area. All items are worth a try for their price is to quality and quantity. The little shop serves mini meals also and is always crowded. The bigger one for snacks and sweets only and a must try.
Please visit this place. A very old and very known place among those people who are coming almost daily or are regular customer of this shop. Every item is nice pleasure to eat. Quality and quantity will not disappoint you. Just enjoy the taste of this local and old shop. Don't miss it.
If you are savior of Punjabi food like chile bhature, Rajma Chawal then place to be. Somosa and paneer Bakoda transport you to 1960s. Price is decent. This place is not for health conscious people
