I visited here with my family in March 2020 before the Pandemic and as usual there was a waiting period before we could enter. So finally when we ordered Naans came 5mints before the main dish i.e Paneer Tikka Masala. Although 5 mints is not a big time but when it comes to breads they donot remain fresh even in mints. I requested the waiter to bring fresh naans with dish but he refused and said "agla wala garam aajayega". I said ok and continued but this kind of service is not acceptable and that too in a restaurant like this which has a long history.
But I am giving 4 stars because I love this place since my childhood and some mistakes can be ignored.
Food is awesome. People living nearby can enjoy having dinner. You cannot party here as sitting capacity is only available near about for 30-40 people. Home delievery is also available by them. They have also tie-ups with Swiggy & Zomato.
I always order food from here at my home. This outlet Is one of the best outlet in Ad market
They serve delicious Chaap, and Shahi Paneer.
I often get tawa roti and missi roti packed from here and they arr always good and nicely cooked, its really enjoyable.
Kadhai paneer and shahi paneer is a must try here👍
It tastes really well but little expensive. Else everything is fine.

I have been going to chitrakut since when I was a kid. The taste of handi paneer and tawa paneer is really good. The kadhai paneer has deteriorated over the past many years. The size of laccha paratha and naan also does not justify its price.
This place is near to my home and sometime we go here for dinner. We usually order shahi paneer dal makhni, raita and mix veg along with butter roti. All are good in taste. We have tried their noodles also which was decent in taste.
The food was awesome. And has a very decent crowd. Along with that, there are varieties of mouthwatering dishes here.Also , I loved the service provided here!
Delicious food here, underrated restaurant in Delhi, Rajma makhni is love. Sitting arrangement is small but food is worth trying once, you won't feel regret.
Visited this place with my friends today and I found this place good food taste was amazing service is good and you think you love North Indian food then go here and enjoy you day with whom you want must visit here!!!
Good place for a nice family dinner. The Dal Makhani is one of the best dishes to get, so don't forget to order that. The dining is more like a 5 star dhaba but it is good enough to sit there and eat rather than packing the food and taking it home.

Chitrakut is a really nice restaurant to go for dinner with family. Their main course is great with the prices they provide. This is a must visit place.
Ordered sweet corn soup, spring rolls, and 2 special thali out of which one thali included shahi paneer, dal makhani, mix vegetables, boondi raita, pulao, papad, and 2 stuffed naan and the other one included shahi paneer, malai kofta, dal makhani, raita topped with coriander leaves, papad, pulao and 2 butter naan.

Satisfying. It's a must try restaurant. All the stuff is absolutely tasty and sumptuous. Also the prices are apt according to the quantity and quality. Service is also good.
Special mention for spring rolls and malai kofta, it's a must try dish there. Spring rolls are so crispy and yummy. Malai kofta is like it just get melts as u put it into your mouth...... 😘😘

This is basically a family dining restaurant and most of the time you have to wait here for your table as they are so amazing so crowd to banta hai
They have 2 space for dining in front of each other..
The areas of dining is small
But when the food is good then I think one can wait for there turn
Mostly it is crowded at dinner time and specially on weekends
It’s fairy good place in Shalimar Bagh to have Dhaba style North Indian Cuisine. I always prefer to order from this place whenever I have impromptu house gatherings. They have never dissatisfied me with their taste & packaging.
I love their paneer butter masala.

The place is crowded so better book a table in advance. They serve amazing food within a very reasonable range and serve good portions too.

I ordered the chowmein from Chitrakut and it was just Awsome..... packing was not at all compromised and neatly packed. Taste was really good. If ypu want to eat chinise its a must try place in Shalimar Bagh area.

Centrally located micro restaurant which serves authentic India food . It's a budget friendly outlet has wide variety of food . What I don't like is the waiting time which is unexpected little high that too when it was not a rush hour . If I talk about the food it's awesome in taste we ordered afgani paner and rumali Roti food is undoubtedly mouth watering .
Ambience is not that good. But the food taste delicious that too quite reasonable rates.
Do try their Dal makhani and Malaikofta.

Heard a lot about its quality food with cheap prices. A small vegetarian family restaurant which serves multi cuisines from North Indian to Italian and Chinese, you can see a wide variety here.
We ordered fried rice and Manchurian as starter which tasted fine and later we ordered paneer lababdar, Dal makhni, malai kofta and mix veg in main course and everything was yummy and fresh. The service and the food were really great at this price point.
By looking at the ambience one would suggest that it is an average restaurant but it turned out to serve some really amazing dishes. I went to Shalimar bagh to watch a movie and then later came to this place to have lunch. Although we ordered only starters but they were sufficient enough to fulfill our hunger. We ordered Singapuri Chowmein, Chilly potato and White sauce pasta and all of them were delicious.
Food quality is awesome just prices of items are high. If they are reduced, Chitrakut will be best and unbeatable in market.

It is a family restaurant. It's pretty crowded place so, better to book table and then visit. Food was good and at reasonable prices. One must try Dal Makhani, Tawa Paneer Masala, Laccha Paratha, and Missi Roti. Only thing which disappointed me was their cutlery, they served us on plastic plate.
Very cosy Family dinning center. There we had Kadai Paneer, Dal fry along with Tawa Roti.
We liked Kadai Paneer alot. It was appropriate with taste, texture and taste.
Dal fry was okayish. Didnt like much.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Shalimar Bagh. Good family friendly environment, everything in the menu is tasty, staff is friendly, and prices are also good. Overall experience could be better, they need interior updates but that could wait.
Much recommended if you are looking for trustable vegetarian food.

This is Restaurant not proper bhojanalay which is good... Food taste was awesome my favourite naan was garlic naan sabzi was Tawa Paneer.
Gulab jamun was very low quality...
