We could not have much since we reached at a time when it was midst if Breakfast and Lunchtime. Hence the only items were "All Day Meal" which consist of light South Indian dishes such as Dosa etc. Hence could not have much. Otherwise, the ambiance is very nice.
The staff is very informative. On entering the premises they inform guests of the charges if one is just sitting without any purchases. Charges are Rs. 1000/- for a period of one hour. This makes one not sit ideal or hold meetings only but discuss with an order placed.
Being a Delhite, its always a delight to visit such classy places and here i came across going with my best of company for having a relaxing time. And this time we chose tea lounge @ THE TAJ... and i still cant get over of this dreamy place... The aura just made me feel soo special and so as the hospitality by the MASTER of The Industry.. take a bow leads for sticking to the ROYALE IN THE WHOLE INDUSTRY. I truly relished my time thr having tea coffee and other snacks. Yummylicious.#sakshicious
If you want to spend some quality time you should definitely visit this place. The view is superb and the accompaniments served are sumptuous. Staff is definitely courteous.

There are very few places I can count on for good dessert 🍮 . The tea lounge-taj palace is one of the. I love the cold coffee here. Also ,they serve the best macaroons in town👌🏻.Oriental chicken puff was nice, filling was fresh as absolutely delicious.😘

Lovely place for a tea and tea cakes . The Taj Palace has been my all time favourite for their masala tea and lovely place to cure your sweet tooth too . The tea is served on a Noretaki Tea Sets so the class is unchallenged and the ambience too good to cherish the small talks with friends and family. It can be bit e pensive but totally worth the experience .
There was this PIHMAA function the other day and we tried variety of cookies and mind blowing mocktails and this was followed by a well spread dinner buffet, we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening, food and service stole the show.

OMG!!! Simply beautiful!!! Taj tea lounge is simply beautiful and peaceful. It is perfect for a date or a quiet tea with friends. Their bakery has endless options by my favourite was salted caramel eclair and vanilla eclair and macaroons. My favourite tea is Japanese matcha tea. The food it fresh pretty and heavenly.
A good open space and tea lounge particularly prepared for business environment and enjoy tea and coffee. ambiance is stunning and lights are bright and located very next to Reception area at its ground level.

My bestie decided that we should try this place once since we are done with a lot places in Delhi. The place is beautiful, but the food disappointed us a bit. Service was good though. A lot of items were unavailable. Over all it was not that bad, but I would still say that there are better places in Delhi which would serve better.

This place is so beautiful that you will always feel like going again and again. Went there for evening tea and snacks and it was just wonderful. From the presentation of the tea to its taste! wow! what an experience. Snacks were bit costly but worth it considering the place and the experience you get! Will definitely visit them again.

Been here once with friends for coffee. I had jamaican blue mountain coffee and my friends had tea. U can refill the cup without any extra charges. Loved the ambiance. Staff was so nice that he asked us if we wanted a refill. One cup of coffee will cost u 500 bucks but its worth it. It was a good experience.
This is a great place if you want to relax in luxury! Located in the magnificent lobby of the hotel, this is a place to splurge for coffee, desserts, and conversations.
They have an interior seating which feels like a royal setting and exterior seating which faces the garden. The Cappuccino I ordered was regular like any other coffee (I guess I should have gone for the tea). The dessert, which was Caramel Brownie with Vanilla Ice-cream, was pretty good. The brownie should have been a bit warm, but nevertheless, the taste was good. The staff excels in their Taj standard hospitality!

The lobby of the Taj Palace Chankyapuri is a splendid place. It hints at bygone times when silk clad begums and court attendants moved over the polished marble floors of the city palaces. They would have loved the Americano in the lobby bar too. It’s as dark as the night and the creamy texture of the brew gives me this silky feeling on the tongue that I’m always looking for in a coffee. The flavor is strong and subtle but not too bitter. I add one sugar and remember an afternoon spent here with a friend - long ago. We were sitting outside in the basket chairs and watched some Russian tourists in shorts and swimsuits dipping their tows into the water of the pool. It was February. And no one went for a swim that day.
I am more of a coffee person , but when a friend mentioned an afternoon Tea , English style at Taj , I was game 😁 . It was a rainy afternoon and the lush green lawns of Taj provided the right setting for a sumptuous if not lavish Tea platter. 😜
There were scones with cream & jam , tiny salmon and chicken sandwiches, chicken triangles and pastries. It all came in a Charlie some delicate bone china crockery . Ordered for coffee separately and it turned out to be full bodied and aromatic . We were promised refills to our charlie but our English decorum didn't allow us to that after an extra but small helping of cocktail sandwiches. .
I have rated it 4 for the experience and not so much for platter . 😁 Taj can easily better it's standards .
Since returning from Britain, I had been craving for the Afternoon tea experience and what better place than Taj to create a classy atmosphere. The understated elegance of Taj was just perfect. The afternoon tea experience was extremely refreshing. I had a Japanese tea which was delightful and my friend had coffee which was equally good. The continental spread we ordered had salmon and cucumber sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, different varieties of pastries- all presented in fancy china on a charlie. The food tasted fine. The entire experience was quite memorable with congenial company and scrumptious food.@Anubha Mukherji

At the Taj palace the masala art doubles up as the breakfast place as well as the 24 hour cafe leaving the tea lounge to be what it is,a centrally located oasis with nice seating,low tables and a good menu to satisfy the lonely business traveller or the newly weds looking for solitude.

Great place to grab a pastry and tea. The only place I have found great pastries. The atmosphere is nice you have plenty of options to sit. One thing that would be nice is Wifi. When we stayed in the hotel I would have liked to sit down there and use my computer but no wifi.

If you want to find peace in the hustling bustling loud Delhi, this lounge/lobby area of the beautiful Taj Palace hotel offers exactly that. We went for a weekend getaway within Delhi of sorts and went there in the evening after a relaxing afternoon sleep. We ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate pyramid dessert. Perfect in taste. But more than the options, its the experience which captivates you. I would love to come back here. :) A 50% off for residents an added benefit. ;)
Came here looking for a cupcake but found some really nice desserts. Tried the Chocolate pie with caramalised fig. Pretty good. The manager tells me there are going to be out with a new 'indulgence' menu with interesting flavours. One such flavour I want to try is the Pineapple Pepper muffin ! !!
They have a nice tea collection here. I had a chicken jalapeño quiche and masala tea along with the veg potato sandwich (strictly ok) and the chicken tikka sandwich (good). The quiche was by far the best thing and also very satisfying. Top marks for presentation. Chai was good and very refreshing.

Beautiful tea lounge in a superb high-cieling royal setting... In front of you are the wide green expanses with the pool right in the middle... Being an extremely hot, dry day no one was venturing to the pool.
What it did do was enhance the cool drinks we ended up ordering... Mint ice tea and the Aam panna latte... The mint ice tea came in a tall glass and had the twin cooling effects of being absolutely chilled and really minty... The tastes of tea and mint were well blended and almost made it feel as though the heat was slipping away... The Aam panna latte was a well spiced raw mango flavoured slush... It was perfect for a long lazy lounging as the slush gradually melted to revel more of the liquid to be drunk
The only disappointment is the lack of a proper cake shop... They try and make up for it with a limited pastry selection and the only option of chocolate truffle in cake (not displayed). However, the raspberry cheese cake and the eclair which we tried were both lightly sweetened and very nice.
More than the food or the drink the royal setting makes you feel wow... The beautiful antique swing near the lounge, the spice box in a display nearby, the different types of tea leaves which if requested the staff is nice enough to let you sniff!

A perfect place to be for a tea lover like me. The inside seating is very sophisticated and just like any other good coffee shop. The outside seating is something i'd advice to go for to enjoy everything Taj has to offer.

What a perfect place to be!
Let me talk about the ambience of this tea lounge because that is what was a major hit for me. The inside seating of the tea lounge is very sophisticated and looks how any coffee shop of a five star would look like.
If you have good amount of time and in no rush, I would recommend you to sit outside and enjoy what this Taj property has to offer. The day I visited it, the weather was nice so sitting outside was just a plus. With comfortably large laid sofas and given the spectacular view from here, sipping a cup of coffee is not just a cup of coffee when at Taj.
With sun setting in the sky above, and evening lights getting lit up along with the cold breeze, the entire experience here became absolutely therapeutic.
Now to food- they had amazing looking desserts and savoury baked items to offer. I went ahead with a cherry cake and a coffee - chocolate pastry, along with a cup of coffee. The desserts were smash on and packed with flavours and fresh ingredients. Also these items are at 50% off post 7pm so it really increases your options to eat at just half the price.
For the service- you experience Taj ' s hospitality at its best. Servers that ensure you are comfortable at your seat and then do not hover around, giving the privacy the guests would need. But at the same time they arrive at your table with just a show of hand.
I came out impressed once again from this place and shall head back another time when in need of peace and fine dine both. :)
Old habits die hard and tea is one of them for me. I like experiencing variety of flavors and herbs and this place is good for its authenticity in that area. Love the detail preparations they do for every order.
I think if you wish to have an experience similar to the traditional high tea, you must go here and sit outside sipping on your favourite tea with scones and cream. I feel it's priced rightly as well.

After the sojourn at Kafe, this Tea Lounge attracted our attention. All around the Lounge beautiful paintings have been put up and in some cases with a story written behind it. The place served a variety of refreshing tea and coffee but we on the other hand got ourselves a delicious looking cake and a cucumber salad to accompany the long conversation that we had carried forward from the Kafe itself. The view of the garden as to from where we were seating were amazing. The staff were very courteous and were willing to take our requests. Best place to refresh yourself!

I was there for a business meeting. Tea coffee was just a thing to keep discussion going. I had been to many Five Stars before, so was not much extra to expect.
And here comes the point. From the moment you enter the lounge and the time you leave, you are actually treated like a VIP in their cafe. And you realize why Taj group stands apart. The cutlery they use, the food/snacks they serve, the courtesy they extend are something to be experienced by itself.
Enormous collection of tea and coffee ! A very nice environment to sit and have ur deals done or catch up with an old friend :D

Bumped into Salman Khan during my first visit to this place around the release of Dabaang ... What more u want .. The place has a nice open area and offers a quiet yet breathtaking ambience ... The variety of options available though limited but elegant ... Their bakery is good and coffee awesome ... Staff is courteous as expected ... Overall a 5/5 experience :) I have become a frequent visitor now !!!

A bright & sunny day with just the right amount of wind speed, you feel like grabbing a nice cuppa' joe or something different in the tea dept., wnat to go & sit someplace nice, quiet or pretty, the CCD right next to the Taj come to your mind along with its shitty service & THE WORST COFFEE OR FOOD in town so you drop the idea of going that far, but wait, there's this Tea Lounge in the Taj right next to it, go there grab a decent tea, some cookies or a cheesecake. Its got a nice outdoor seating arrangement.! You're bound to love it!
