Food Theory a small place in Delhi Cantt is a go to place for a small outing.
The menu is very extensive and covers a whole variety of cuisines.
The food tastes awesome and the ambience is really good.
I just find the place a little pricey but overall worth a visit.
This is our favorite hangout place as a couple..we love the delicious cuisines that they have to offer..i like chinese more than anything else..during this pandemic..i ordered online for home delivery..the food that came over was very salty and i immediately raised a concern..they gave us a surprise by giving us a complimentary meal the next day...loved theirs customer retention and providing exemplary services.

The ambience is what sets it apart, it's an absolute beauty. The food quality is above average, good even but the price for the food seems a tad bit much.
Howsoever the ambience compensates for everything, the staff is courteous and the service is quick. Very hygienic. Good for both vegetarians and not vegetarians.
All in all if you want relax and have a nice meal visit it hundred percent

Food theory is located inside Delhi Cantonment Area. It has long list of veg and non veg cuisines on its menu. They also serve beverages and desserts. Outside seating is also available here. Staff behavior was excellent and ambience was awesome.
We ordered chicken soup, chicken Manchurian, chicken noodles, chicken fried rice and gulab Jamun with ice cream. Order was served hot in no time.
The quality and quantity of food, we have never seen anything like this before. The food was sufficient for 4 people. And it costed us barely 1500!!!
The only problem is, in order to secure entry into this place you would require a member or a dependent of the member of Indian Armed Forces. Entry is not allowed without ID.
It is a must visit place for all!

Hidden away from the hustle bustle of the city...nestled in the beauty of the green trees..very simple but eye pleasing this place is..winters is the best times to be here I thought but yesterday the climate was also nice and sitting inside these huts was a bliss...
We ordered garlic bread - thin crisp bread with a gud layer of cheese...I must say the bread was quite tasty
Pesto pasta - unfortunately I forgot to click..they make it so amazingly yum ...
Beggars bowl - oriental freaks in black bean sauce on a bed of rice. Was fresh , bang on flavour. usually whenever we eat Chinese , I have noticed the quality of rice to be poor ...but here the rice was really thin and long and tasty..
Well we were full as the quantity was really gud , we were actually struggling to finish it up ( I hate to waste food)
We were served kulfi which was complimentary...it was nice and creamy .
The place , the ambience, the food and the atmosphere at this place called Food Theory in Delhi Cantt is above the person's expectations and everytime I visit I love this place more and more..
The place is quite , fresh air if you are seated outside and feels like a place outside in the evenings..
The food, the pesto pasta, the garlic bread, the Chinese vegetables in the soy sauce and the kulfi are all amazing and can be over-eaten due to their taste..
The service is great and have no complaints with anything.. the drinks they make are also at the right temperature and are prepared as the needs of the customers..

We tried tandoori chicken, ajwaini fish tikka & roast garlic chicken pizza and it was delicious, specially tandoori chicken. Staff was courteous and the ambience was great. On the whole, its a great place to be. Definitely recommended.

Food Theory reminds me of vintage military style eating joint with lush green outdoor seating and exquisite menu spread. We tried Mutton Chawal and Pesto Sauce pasta which was good. Staff is courteous and quick to get the food. Overall a good eating joint to have scrumptious pocket friendly meal.

A gem of a place to order from! We ordered the veg hakka noodles and honey chilly potatoes. The packaging was good and food was delivered in time. The noodles were very basic with fresh vegetables. Overall nice experience!

Food theory is a cizy restaurant in in Delhi Cantt and until and unless you have access to the cantonment,you cannot enjoy the privilege.
we had fully loaded chicken pizza, chicken Chapli Kabab ,chicken fried rice and chilli chicken dry with coffee .
The food and and service was flawless.
Pizza, according to me was not as Crisp as one made in a wood fired oven but was too good for the price charged.
the Chapli Kabab was mild and not as flavourful as it should have been.
The chilli chicken was awesome well marinated Crisp and really yummy even though it was dry without any gravy it was fantastic with the fried rice.
The chicken fried rice was absolutely awesome.
Fresh fragrant rice Mildly Spice just as it should be with lots of veggies and chicken.
The The Chef had made the Rice absolutely perfectly had I been able to I would definitely had one more bowl of rice
The only drawback is that they do not serve filtered water and you must purchase bottled water for someone who prefers to avoid buying water only for the sake of the environment that is a definite negative.
The coffee was served in a paper cup which I don't really appreciate unless I am moving out of the restaurant so when restaurant can invest in a coffee machine they should also get ceramic cups.
So yesterday we friends decided to go out for lunch. We we're 5 of us and didn't want to go very far so Food Theory was the best choice. The place opens at 12.30 , it's a small restaurant with fairly good ambience and food. We ordered manchow veg soup..well the quantity was pretty less. Buschetta was tasty, the beggar's bowl ( a mix of rice and veggies ) was really yum. We also ordered Ceasers salad . Overall the food was good. The place is surely recommended.
The place is nice , the ambience is courtesy the Cantt and the food is a result of the attention paid by the proprietors . I have tasted everything on the menu over a period of more than seven visits and I am fond of their food . But now itβs time to include more cuisines in the menu . The staff also can be increased and they should include more items in their starters as well .

The pizza was also very cheesy and tasted very good as well.

I visited this place called #Foodtheory in Delhi Cantonment. It's a quaint little restaurant built in isolated Cantt area with a very club kind of feeling and decor. Loved the place at very first site.
We ordered in starters Tofu basil chilly, which was flavourful and delicious. Anjeer and lotus stem kebabs which I ate for the first time and it was a great combination. Very well prepared. Loved it.
Creamy pesto penne pasta was real Creamy and cheezy with right balance of herbs.
I must appreciate the staff for courteousness and the food was so well prepared and well presented.
Over all a good experience. Very reasonably priced. A must visit place.

I have been to this restaurant many times now . Very nice ambience and courteous staff . Their mutton rara ghost is my all time favourite. I like their cold coffee too . I have tried chicken achari tikka , railway mutton curry , murg makhmali kebabs , all tasted very good . However I feel they need little improvement on chicken biryani .
The desert ice creams are good too .

You know I wasn't really expecting much from this place, considering you are restricted in choices when it comes to places to eat in the Cantt. But when my mother insisted that we go here for a Family dinner - a direct order from the Chief which we had to oblige to, no two-ways there!
We arrived for dinner around 9; a surprisingly breezy April night and were bowled over by its ambience. It has cozy little hut seatings in the outdoor as well as indoor seating. Because of the cool breeze, we sat in one of the huts with lights wrapped all around the poles. There is something about night time that just enhances the beauty of restaurants with outdoor seatings.
Once we were done being bowled over by the ambience and decor, we ordered Karkare Dahi Kebabs, a special of the day - Murg Chettinad Anardana with Butter Naan.
And I am telling you, you shall definitely lick you fingers once you have a bite of the Special dish! It is simply exquisite! Such a breath of fresh air from the Butter Chickens and Kadai gravies. This spinach-based Chicken dish is off the charts!
Kudos to the Owner for personally making sure we were enjoying the meal. I made a point to tell him to induct the Chettinad dish in their Menu for all patrons to fall in love with it!
The bill came to about a thousand bucks (including a Coke and Strawberry Shake - which I would also recommend to fellow shake-lovers). The prices are a bit steep, but with the ambience and amazing food - you don't feel the burn in your pocket too much.
If it isn't obvious from my constant fawning, I absolutely loved this place and we plan to make this our go-to dinner place.
i am a regular visitor to food theory and i just love their sandwiches. So i ordered a paneer tikka sandwich online for the first time and the experience was not good. Though the filling was as usual very nice the bread was almost unchewable and very hard.
Got the replacement of the sandwich and its just perfect!!

This is probably the only restaurant inside of the Delhi Cantt that has me visiting it on a regular basis. The reason stems from the fact that they're very reliable and don't get much wrong. So I finally decided to review it when I visited it today with another regular member of the joint and non other than the Madame herself.
This has been my order during previous visits as well, so it helps gauge the consistency. For starters we ordered two fresh lime sodas, one oregano fries and one chilly chicken dry followed by chicken fried rice with another portion of chilly chicken dry. I had asked the boy waiting on me to ask the chef to give the fried rice a garlic twist even though it wasn't on the menu. It isn't much for a chef of a restaurant of this caliber to tend to this need.

β Madame loves their fries and for good reason. Crisp and well seasoned.
β Chilly chicken done just the way it should be, lots of spring onions, bell peppers and actually morsels of meat.

A good place to spend an evening with your family, well within the premises of the cantonment. Serves a congenial environ for sudden plans. Its take away services are also superbly quick & food tastes great !!

A fine dining restaurant with an amazingly courteous staff. The good music and the decor is enough to lighten your mood and you'll be able to enjoy the food as well. The menu has a limited number of really good items and prices are not on the higher side as well. The staff are really cooperative and courteous. There is seating available inside and outside as well.
So, we ordered for tandoori chicken, chicken Tikka masala, pudina parantha, garlic naan and butter chicken. The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly with the tandoor and the masalas exploding in your mouth every time you take a bite. The chicken tikka masala was delightful, with the right amount of garam masala doing Justice to the dish, the chicken was soft and tender. The pudina parantha was good, you would even enjoy it if you eat it as it is. The garlic naan was a bit elasticky and I barely got the garlic flavour. Butter chicken, though was recommended by the server, but I didn't find it very extraordinarily different from what you get in other average restaurants, I believe the chicken could've been let to cook for some more time. However, I really enjoyed coming here and trying out these dishes. I would like to come here again and try the other items in the menu. I would like to give the -

A Saturday afternoon well spent at the food theory. Some good company and some amazing delicacies on display truly made it a great brunch.
The staff out here was very courteous and welcoming. The starters especially the makai kabab and dahi ke kabab were made right to my taste buds and the chutney with this give it the perfect spice. With this spicy and tangy Indian food the green apple soda was a perfect sweetener. Main course was just perfect with the dal makhani being perfectly made and the Kadhai paneer having its good share of spices.
Ending it with Oreo ice cream and fig ice cream was just ideal.
For all foodies, it is a must visit

Good food, great service, friendly and polite staff and a lovely ambience make Food Theory a must visit. Located in Delhi Cantt, one can visit this place without worrying about anything.
Free parking, outdoor seating,swings for children and amazing music make sure both kids as well as their parents enjoy their experience.
Coming to the main thing the food, we ordered dahi kebab, corn kebab, palak patta chaat and mutton chaap for starters.
Each item was cooked to perfection, impossible to rank them. The Dahi kebab was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mutton chaap was melt-in-mouth. The palak patta chaat was a unique and new idea. Crispy spinach leaves with tangy chutneys and bhel on the top make it both, healthy and delicious at the same time.
For the main course we ordered railway Mutton Curry, Paneer, dal makhni and chicken tikka masala. Dal makhni is a simple dish, but, this is by far the best dal makhni I've ever had. Right mix of spices and not at all oily. The piping hot railway Mutton Curry and chicken Tikka masala in the cold weather with the garlic naan did made sure we had an amazing time. The paneer was also amazing, not at all heavy but at the same time filling.
A good meal ends with a good dessert, no matter how full one is. We ordered an Oreo crumble ice cream and fig ice cream. 8 of us were full, bursting infact after the amazing food, yet we still fought over who would have the last bite.
Excellent food and service. A great place for family dining with good ambiance with both owner and chef positive guys and great host. Overall a great experience.
I had an amazing experience there. The food was absolute top notch, I recommend the tikka platter, butter chicken and the Iced Tea. Also the oreo infused ice cream was just heavenly! Great ambience and place!

For someone whoβs a sucker for gardens and open spaces... this offers you just that. Tried the Indian food... you can tell the quality of the food by just having the Dal Makhni of that place... and this was bloody good!

I had a wonderful evening at the Food Theory restaurant yesterday ( November 14, 2017)along with my wife, daughter , granddaughters and other friends. The food was delicious. The ambiance was excellent. The grand children had a gala time being busy in experimenting with the kids stuff (like swings etc) kept there. Had the opportunity to interact with the gracious owner of the restaurant and understand the passion with which she is running the restaurant. The staff are courteous and professional. Food is served in record time. The place has already gained a good name in Army circles and the patronage from the top brass of Army is encouraging.The owner has simply one motto: to provide the best culinary experience to all her customers in all aspects including the value for money. I am happy to place it on record that she has largely succeeded in achieving her motto, thanks to the support of Army establishment and her own family members. I compliment all those who are actively involved in running the restaurant.Wish we
have more such restaurants else where in Delhi, outside the cantonment area.

Food Story is the perfect place to host a large dinner party. I had a fabulous time with 70 of my guests yesterday, thanks to the amazing food, drinks, and service. The cuisine was diverse and delicious, with snacks served in creative and appetizing ways (see pics) . The crockery and cutlery were of high quality and matched the decor of the restaurant. The staff, especially Mr Santosh and Mr Michael, were attentive and courteous. They remembered the drinks and preferences of each guest, whether they were veg or non-veg. The snacks were unlimited and the main course was served hot and fresh. The highlight of the evening was the chocolate fudge with ice cream, which was a decadent treat. The cocktails were also perfect and refreshing. I am so glad I chose Food Story for our celebrations . It was a wonderful evening that I will never forget.

Cost wise this is better as compare to food quality. It is inside Delhi Cantonment area, a calm composed and serene area. They have both veg and non veg to offer. This restaurant if one of its kind, located in Delhi Cantt area. A restricted area for outsiders to go, you will have to submit your driver license if you are getting inside this zone. We have been there for an official trip in Delhi Cantt location hence this was one of the place we used to go there because it was near and have lot of good varities of food available. Food is delicious and worth of your money. We have tried both veggies and non-veggies and both were delicious. You you were happen to visit this place , Food theory is must recommend. Pocket friendly and worth trying out. Thumbs up.

This place is located in Delhi Cantt. In Delhi Cantt. near Gopinath Bazaar, there is a restaurant, Vegetables and Non-vegetarian shop, etc. Being foody and have judgemental nature over food, I tried several dishes here. Railway Mutton Curry is good but little spicy. But I must say the quality of the mutton is very tender. And the pieces are quite big. Liked Paneer-Do-Pyaza. Tadka Daal is also tasty. Tandoori Roti is full of fibre. Naan is not that big in size. As per as the price is concerned, the restaurant is costly.
This place is very wonderful, the food here is amazing.Service is also very good. The atmosphere is very good.
