Love the ambience, open roof cafe and the variety of cuisines and music they have. Perfect place to chill out with your gang.

Lovely hospitality as well.
- SICK AND SANE
Prawn pizza is surely a recommendation!
Its my regular place for weekend party. I like the interior of restaurant. The food is amazing, specially burger and pasta. This place is pocket friendly as compared to other restaurants in the same area.
I only have their momos whenever I go there and damn, they are just amazing. Both pork and chicken dumplings are amazing. Deals are quiet amazing.
I had loved their GK outket so decided to try this one as well. So, If we compare I liked the GK one better.
I had ordered usual pizza, white sauce pasta and a black coffee
The food though was amazing and so was the staff and service.
The ambience could have been better specially the lighting.
Overall, it's a good place to hangout and definitely goes easy on pocket with various options on these menu. They also have 1+1 on zomato.
The new skillet chicken on sticks dish had an array of flavours with a hint of a tang mixing well with the overall amalgamation of flavours and spices. Every bite of it is a flavor bomb melting in your mouth. I'll rate it a 9.5 out of 10.
A great place for Chinese cuisine in the area. They have a variety in continental too, however the Asian cuisine here is top notch. Not very heavy on the pockets, great ambience and service.P.s. They give the bill inside a comic book.
“WHAT A COMIC SHOW” yes it is what a comic show is a cosy little place in the SDA market in third floor no elevator to reach on floor staircases is only an option but once you reach you find It is quite a lovely place for comic book nerds :) The whole place is comic themed and there are a lot of comic books around, so you can just read those waiting for your food. The food is also good here. I have had Italian and Chinese cuisine.. Overall, good place to hang out with friends and for a date also
Food is good but yes there is lots of area to improvement empty restaurant on Friday, it could be possible because we landed on lean time of period, must be at night it's rocking staff is courteous enough all given time you can find smile on their face and their smile will win you !!!!!!!!
Awesome food and superb ambience surrounded by books!
A great place to grab drinks with a close group of friends , however their food menu and pricing could be a modified a bit as it doesnt have a lot to explore.
Just went here yesterday to have a lunch. We ordered for veg pizza, aglio olio pasta and chicken sandwich. Really really loved the pizza and pasta was also pretty good. Wanted to order a drink but couldn't because of dry day. Have been here thrice and will go again 😁
One of my favorite places. One need to visit this place for sure. Starting from food to ambiance everything is superb.
Nice Ambience ...Good food !
Have been to ths place many times... ideal place to hangout with the group of friends on the weekend..
And if you get lucky sometimes they have local bands performing live at this place ... and they are good !
Loved the place! My friends suggested this, The comic theme is so cool, The staff is really polite & helpful in suggesting dishes. We had chicken momos, white sauce pasta, red sauce spaghetti, Asian bowl & mocktails. Everything was so tasty, lip smacking & fresh, loved the presentation & the quick service. Overall I had an amazing experience & I would love to come here again.
Went to this place with my friends. Loved the comic ambience here. They have the outdoor seating space as well. But due to weather conditions i chose to seat inside. Food we ordered was good. Must Visit you are around.
I wanted to use my Zomato Gold and also visit a place with good food. So I ended up choosing What A Comic Show. It's opposite the IIT gate at SDA market.
Nearest metro is IIT DELHI.
It's a small cafe with both indoor and outdoor seatings. The decorations consisted of comic book posters and comic books, children fables, novels on the racks for the customers. The tables are even covered with pictures from comic books.
I loved the ambience. Music was nice. The decor was soothing. I enjoyed the comic books especially. My partner and I enjoyed going through the comics while our food came.
I found several editions of Tinkle digest too, which was really great!
Coming to the food,
We had ordered Chicken spring roll, Chicken Lasagna, Veg hakka noodles and Chilli chicken gravy. Everything was delicious! All the items were amazing! Quantity was adequate as well.
We had two beers, Virgin mojito and Black Mojito in drinks. The Black mojito was really nice.
But the food was the star definitely.
The Chilli Chicken Gravy definitely deserves a special mention.
Anyway, if you want to spend some quality time at a place with good food and drinks, then this is definitely the place! The price is reasonable too.
Definitely worth a visit!
P.S. They charge Service tax, VAT and GST which I feel is a bit much.
P.P.S. The service was no doubt good and they are definitely a friendly bunch of people.
It's a really cool place to be at, if you are an comic enthusiast. The place is filled with all type of comics from table's to Wall's. The food is also in good portions & tastes well.
Nice place to hangout. One can even easily work between good food, beer and lot more. A must visit place near IIT. The entrepreneur in you might get enlightened 😌
Well the food is great and the ambience is even better . The waiting staff is very courteous and very friendly. I was there on 25th May and was amazed to see a comedy show happening and it was such a great show . But after then I didn't see any such event after that. I
This cafe is located in SDA market and mainly known for its pan Asian cuisine. The comic themed cafe with a beautiful ambiance having your favourite marvel or other characters can be given a visit atleast once. There's a good variety in the menu to choose from. And the staff members are very polite doing good service. We have tried many things..
Chicken manchow soup : This dish was perfectly made. It's aroma soothed my tastebuds.. I could feel the tender shreds of chicken and egg in every sip... The soup was delightful..
Potato cheese nuggets : the nuggets were also nice and the dip served along with it was tasty as well.
Veg spring rolls : crispy spring rolls filled with lots of veggies was again a delight to have.. Just loved it.
Chicken sui mai dimsums : The filling inside the dimsums was good.. The filling had chicken and mushrooms in it.. but they were not very juicy.. that I expected them to be.. otherwise I enjoyed them.
Chilli garlic chicken noodles : One of the best noodles I have had in recent times. I already expected them to be good.. perfectly fried, less oily, good amount of bell peppers and chicken.. what else do you need in a good bowl of noodles?
Brownie with icecream : Hot brownie served with cold ice-cream.. nothing can go wrong with such a combination... The dessert tasted amazing..
Food : 4/5

Really cute restaurant to visit with friends. Feel like you are home with Comics, Books, games etc.
I tried their chicken momos, prawns preparation etc, and believe me all that I ordered tasted really nice and full of flavors.
Nice ambience, would recommend everyone to visit once, decent food n drinks, servers are very humble, would love to hangout with frnz..sat n sun they have live musics also...😀
Had a great evening with frnds with live music & beers. Snacks were quite good. Though there was not much options in beer so ordered ultra max & used two zomato gold.
Nice n cosy place. A must visit as it reminds of our childhood. Lovely atmos with live music and above all they understand the guests taste.
Will definitely go again. This was our second visit. Lovely terrace to stand.
Ambience - a YES when you want to go down the memory lane, all the super heroes, comics, miniatures
Food - tried spring rolls, pan fried noodles, and club sandwich
Spring rolls and noodles were great, but club Sandwich could have been much better.
Service - come here if you have no hurries, because, they, take their full time
Awesome!
Awesome!
Awesome!
Cozy and chilled out place for hanging out, and as the name suggests, it's a comic books themed eatery. Went on a Friday night and they had Live band performances, strumming good old English songs.
The menu caters a huge options of value for money food items, that will make one spoilt for choices. Very affordable and filling portions.
We had ordered French fries with bacon and cheese, vegetable wontons, pork ribs, spicy chicken wings and crispy corn pepper salt.
Overall it was a great experience.
Great staff!! Looking forward to next visit.
Recently I have visited here with my sisters .First we had order for their Mocktails which was very refreshing after that we tried their some pork stater & Dimsum it was truely flavourful & taste .Highly recommended their pork starter , coming to the service , they are very professional & always carrying positive attitude. Will do visit again in this restaurant soon.
Superhero and comic fans are highly recommend to visit this cafe.
Very cool and fun place to be, while we were in this are, me and my friends came across this really cool place, and yes their name represents it well, we went for lunch, and the food we ordered was just so delicious and mouth watering, they also offered an aunthentic Manipuri cuisine with all the proper dishes in a Manipuri thali, I really loved the presentation and the food as well, also ordered the ebi Tempura it a must try and in dessert the chocolate cake was my new fav and I am surely coming back her for there melted chocolate cake it was just delicious, and all the other dishes that we ordered the juicy BBQ pork ribs, pepperoni pizza, the fried chicken dumplings were just lip smacking.

Really cute and small place. A perfect place for some beers with your friends.
The ambience is really nice and cozy with the comic book theme. The food is nice. We had spring rolls which were perfectly crispy. Overall very good
I love the ambience, especially all the superheroes under one love roof, idea is nice creative and their food is awesome, I loved the place.
I went to this place on 1st Jan to enjoy the first day post party sessions of 2018.
1. Tried Chicken manchow soup, bokchoy chicken and hakka noodles.loved the soup out of all that I've ordered there.
2. The place appeared too big in zomato images, though it cozy and small, the decor is cool and funky, a place for teenagers I can recommend.
3. The guy who was serving us was not aware much of the food items as he was stucked when we asked, "which ones are spicy".. Later on we got to know he is new in town...
Overall 4 out of 5... Food food , funky decor and their hospitality.
On a chilly November night, a glass of rum and some delicious food. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Its a heaven for all the people who grew up reading comics and takes you back to your childhood. The live performance by the band added to the overall ambience of the restaurant. Visit here with your friends to chatter endlessly about your school days!
What a comic show is a unique place with a very different vibe altogether.
Mainly because of it's quirky ambiance and decor.
People who are comic addicts or love cartoons would definitely like in here.
Coming to the food now.
On the recommendation of the chef we ordered a VEG PLATTER which was literally huge.
It had loads of different appetizers and each item on it tasted great!
Loved it!
We also had their WHITE SAUCE PASTA which so creamy and had good amount of veggies. I liked it as well. Also the quantity was great too.
Their SPRING ROLLS are yum too!
Quality of food is very satisfying.
So is the quantity!
Staff is decent and service is prompt!
A good experience indeed!!
I really love the vibe of this place. Channels your inner comic book geek. Good place to get your work done as well i have been coming here for quite some time now and the place doesn't disappoint. The staff is courteous and the food is delish. I feel they have an edge when in Tibetan cuisine must try
WHAT A COMIC SHOW to remove those MONDAY BLUES !
Didnt want to have a dinner at home but something light and in vicinity. Headed to the SDA Market and the board What a Comic Show got our attention.
The climb to the 2nd floor isnt that tedious once you start noticing the comic book scripts on the walls and the entrance brings you to this nice dimly lit cafe of sorts with wooden chairs, music in the background and a decor thats straight out of a teenager's room. They have a small balcony with tables thrown in but mostly you could see smokers out for a light. Dont forget to look around and soak in the ambience while you wait for there are those small memorables in every corner that will grab your attention and take you back in time. The tables themselves are a comic stand in themselves
The crowd was mostly youngsters ...am guessing from the nearby institutions or the south delhi hangout guys and gals because you could see the bags n books.
We found seats comfortably as there wasnt too much of crowd. The waiter was prompt with the water and the menu. We ordered the Chicken Manchow Soup , the Thai Chicken Red Curry with Rice and the Chicken Pan fried noodles
CHICKEN MANCHOW SOUP - so it comes with a bowl of soup , hot, with chicken in ample quantities floating in a nice coriander plus spices mixture. They have the crispy chow on the sides that if you mix in the soup gives it that crunchy taste that goes very well with the chicken. You can of course add the soya sauce, the chilis to your taste to make it even more hotter spicier as you want it.
THAI CHICKEN RED CURRY - more orangy than the usual, the taste was very strong though consistent and the chicken pieces were in decent measures. The white rice was cooked just the right amount and not sticky or steamy wet. The quantities are enough for two people
CHICKEN PAN FRIED NOODLES - lot of vegetables chicken pieces on top is what you notice first andthen you realise that the fried noodles are under all that heap. These were very nice as the crispness of the noodles with the vegetables and chicken maintains its distinct flavour. Its light and very tasty. I think it went very well especially after the Manchow Soup
The staff was on hand to take requests. Bill was accurate and came promptly upon asking for it.

My first trip to What a Comic Show-SDA, visited this restaurant having checked on Zomato to see where I could get a good Thai meal. Small but has very nice decor and atmosphere. It's in SDA market and took some finding, but well worth it.
The Food was excellent, not too rich/creamy etc, I had the green chicken curry.
The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy Thai food. Just be aware, I visited on a Monday evening at 7.30 and it was full, make sure you reserve a table.
Had a wonderful meal at what a comic show restaurant last night
The food was excellent very well presented & tasted as good as it looked
The staff were very good and all went to plan to surprise our friend in her birthday
A hidden gem well worth finding when you are in SDA.
Popped in for lunch with a friend. The usual What a Comic Show fare. The restaurant was fairly quiet and we were left to chat in peace. The food was good. I had the peri peri chicken and signature drinks. Would recommend them. Will pop in again when in SDA.
Called in for lunch - made to feel instantly very welcome. Ordering slight variations to the menu was no issue - genuinely keen to please. Food was very good and a fantastic atmosphere. As a reputed chain, was pleasantly surprised at the personalized service.
Ordered from the Lunch menu having read the below reviews and guys i was not disappointed. I always order a Pizza as the tester because this normally sets the bar for a decent Italian restaurant and they certainly nailed it. This is one Place I would have no hesitation with taking them to - the dishes were cooked extremely well and the Pizza was just as it should have been. Keep up the good work guys!
Yum!! Just thinking about the food being served at this restaurant makes me hungry !
Amazing staff, especially the head chef and the others including the italian chefs ☺️
They will make you feel quite comfortable and the food will definitely push the right taste buds!
Highly recommend for you to try either of the varieties of dishes thats unique to their menu. The presentation and the quality of food sets them apart from the other restaurants around SDA
All the best to what a comic show team for all your future endeavours ! See you soon ☺️
Food was very good although on a Voucher menu was limited but with just enough choice. Service also very good. There were only two other tables occupied at 7.00 pm on a Wednesday evening which was a shame. I don't think the location is ideal for an establishment that is trying to be a cut above the average house.
As it has only been been open four months hopefully more people will try it and it will be a success. If you can obtain the Online offer this really is excellent value for money. Normal prices are ok.!
Just the loveliest restaurant with amazing food and staff. All the friends just love going to this local , good restaurant and we are so pleased that they decided to open this fantastic, tastefully decorated ,establishment in SDA market . We have tried many dishes and have never been disappointed - well worth a visit
This refurbished restaurant is a good addition to the restaurant choice in SDA market. Our food was all well cooked and in large portions and our whole (birthday) party enjoyed our evening. Desserts were fine too,
I was so very excited to see this restaurant and it hasn't disappointed! I have been twice so far and both times the food was excellent and the staff are friendly and really make you feel welcome. I cannot wait to go back again!
Travelled from Gurgaon to taste good food n drinks didn't leave disappointed. I was thoroughly entertained with their service and quality of food, presentation and ambience. A must on my list next time in South Delhi. finished till the LAST BITE. Never had I tasted good n delicious continental in this region as tasty as theirs...
Amazing visit from start to end. The level of customer service you receive is outstanding and nothing is too much hassle for the staff. Decor and Ambience is cool and theme based. The food is out of this world! This is a MUST.
The food n drinks were both lovely to try. All the dishes had different flavours. The Pizza is a good one to try. The only thing I was a little irritated with was that they gave out food and after asking 4 times half an hour after getting our food we got our drinks. But other wise overall I really enjoyed my experience
This is a gem for Good food that is nearly authentic. Their service, though, is poor as they are completely swamped by the huge numbers of guests. The food was hot and very tasty indeed. You could say, it was almost authentic. I say almost because their vegetables were simply not up to the mark, Their peri peri chicken is huge.
Very good drinks as well Definitely worth more visits.
Walked into this eatery by chance & found interiors and the young staff very cool. Ordered soup, salad, pizza and peri peri chicken....found the food very yummy & palatable with no hint of spices overdone. Being a foodie myself, I was surprised to see most of the guests were foreigner & were happy to relish the grub
Great choice of cosmopolitan cocktails and drinks with an authenticly spiced range of dishes on the menu. The thali with small dishes for mouth watering foods with different tastes and textures was a perfect meal. Thank you
We were visiting groups in SDA and stumbled on this great restaurant in the SDA market.
We were met by friendly staff and shown to our table.
Service was good, taking our drinks order, while we had a chance to study the menu.
We ordered a drinks with quick bites including pizza.
The dishes arrived in a steady flow and we never felt rushed.
The staff was helpful and attentive.
I can highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning, when next in SDA
What a Comic Show is located in SDA Market and is a good place to try quick bites with drinks. The ambience is very nice and the staff is often very helpful. The food is tasty, but the cost is on the higher side. Food quality is impressive though.
If an authentic Italian is what you are pandering for at an acceptable price What a Comic Show is the place to go. I have been multiple times with the from and we love sitting there.
The food itself is unpretentious and decently portioned, served at a good rate.
Recommend the many thing from menu especially Peri Peri Chicken Pasta
Second time in the restaurant, this time for lunch. Great food, and might have had a cheeky drink(!). Got the same bartender as last time- he'd seen my review and told me I'd got his name wrong but I'll make up for it in this one - thank you for making us a lovely cocktail... It's nice that it's such a good and lovely team working here because you really feel welcome and can build up a bit of a rapport. Might make this a regular spot, who knows...
We were sat in the restaurant looking for somewhere to eat and this popped up just around the corner. What an amazing find. Chinese at its best. Super tasty food and fabulous service from staff who created some amazing cocktails. We will be visiting again soon.
Visited last night for my friend's 18th birthday, from the moment we arrived the whole experience was exceptional. We were seated promptly by a friendly staff then greeted by Manager our waiter who quickly got us drinks and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food arrived quickly and it all tasted absolutely amazing!! After finishing our food Sam brought over a sparkler which was a lovely touch and finish to the night. Throughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to come back.
Small place. Wasn’t disappointed at all.
Ordered chicken fingers and some beer. Food was quiet nice and was served hot. We got 2+1 offer on beer. You can also choose pitcher or tube which comes one + one during happy hours.
They have a live band which adds to the ambiance. Balcony for smokers.
I visited the place y’day evening and was about to find a table for two. Air conditioner was a bit of a struggle and am sure they will fix it.
Average cost of food for two with beer - Rs 1200 to 1400
A friend suggested this place. And I'm happy that he did. It's a small but quaint place with live music. That was quite a treat. The staff was helpful and polite. The food was great. The food menu is in keeping with the theme. Superman logo shaped menu card and Batman shaped drinks menu. It has lots of comic books on the shelves to peruse while waiting. Even the table tops are comic book pages. For the alcohol lovers I'd say that it's limited. Mostly mocktails, beer and wine. No hard liquor here. Also it'll be difficult to manage a big group. It's ideal for groups of 4. The seating is limited. The balcony outside though narrow is a good place to stand and talk. Most smokers will enjoy this feature. We had pork ribs and sausage sliders. Both were fantastic. On a side note, I'll want them to maintain the bathrooms better. But overall a good experience.
Good ambience, great service kudos to the staff. I visited on a weekday so it was obviously pretty empty. These guys serve only wine and beer in terms of alcohol, no hard liquor. Yarmi was the guy who served us, very sweet and professional chap! Loved the vibe of the place in terms of dećor. All n all a great place to chill with friends over beers!
This was my second visit to this restaurant in SDA market near IIT Delhi Metro station. First time when I visited the place it was year 2014 and it was an amazing experience, that time too I ordered thukpa as soon as saw it in menu , as i love having it whenever I am at foot hills of himalaya before starting the trek. What a Comic Show did not disappoint me with its taste as it was well cooked with same recipes and veggies. When i visited the restaurant last week, the ambiance was same but the quality of food has come down that is why not giving 5 star.
Watery beer, loud live music, mediocre food. The decor is a must visit if you are a comic enthusiast.
My most preferred cafe in sda market. Unique cafe based on comic theme. Can read comics there dc, marvel . Not a crowded place. I love the balcony and view from there.
The menu here has a lot of choices. I liked the Asian food (Dumplings and Ramen). We also had a chocolate cake but it wasn't good. Overall the staff is very nice here. We had ordered a Veg Ramen but the waiter misheard us (he even repeated it but his pronunciation wasn't very clear to us) so he brought us Veg Dumplings. But when we explained the confusion to them, they made the other dish for us free of charge. So maybe when you go you should point out the item on the menu itself to avoid confusion.
Brilliant Decor and Ambience. Must visit for a comic lover. Foods available are Chinese or Continental. Good for small group.
Nice and cozy place in SDA serving cheap food and beer, without compromising on the quality! They also have live music sessions frequently, and have a narrow balcony for you to smoke and sit if the weather is nice.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place if you're low on some cash and would like to sit and have a few beers (or 10).
One of my fav places to eat. Love the comics, the service, and most importantly the food. Can always vouch for the food experience here. Personally, I'm a fan of their club sandwich and iced teas flavours.
