Read a lot about this place and one fine winter evening, got the chance to stop by. What an amazing experience. There are people around who literally LIVE and BREATHE TRAVEL. Over a cup of coffee, a bunch of unknown strangers suddenly become the best of friends as they are joined by a common passion, sharing stories and experience...The concept for the cafe is amazing to meet like - minded people and just being there is enough to add more and more to your TRAVEL BUCKET LIST :)
Amazing place......
Amazing ppl.......
Amazing coffee Made by uncle dere......
Love the ambiance. It's a great place to meet new people and love their experience
Demonetization is good. Last weekend, I visited the cafe and ordered a black coffe (Americano) and asked if I can pay by debit card or paytm. Unfortunately there wasn't any provision for such payment method hence they offered me the free coffee.
A perfect and unique place for Reading and drinking hot coffee...
I really love this place. Though I haven't been much there, only thrice I guess. This time I was just wondering the revenue model while sitting there and someone told me that its 'pay what you like service' which is really unique.
Amazing concept. Love the atmosphere and the books and photos were cool
Went to this cute little place for a discussion with my colleagues. The cafe has great ambience as well as amazing vibes. Coffee and cookies were great and also pay whatever u like.
Amazing service.
This cafe is very soothing. You can go, sit there, read books and magazines, spend some quality alone time and even do craft work. 😋♥️
The best thing about the cafe is you need not to pay anything. You can pay any amount you feel like at the door.♥️
They offer you with colours sheets and paints. You can spend a wonderful time there.
Good place for time pass u can gi there with friends and enjoy the cozy environment
Good place for travelers.Good small ambience.Coffee was good. But manager was watching us continuously. That I didn’t liked.Place was good.Good decor.Good place for book readers.
Wander lost ! Found where? Here ! Haha! You should visit this place for an experience to remember! It's different! And as you know pay as much as you want to for your coffee
Great cafe to spend some alone time and read some books, ambience is also good, they also have tea and coffee too, do visit if you are in hauz khas.
A Cozy nook in the heart of Hauz khas village. Pay what you want, stay as long as you like and enjoy the great travel books. Great place to visit when on a budget and otherwise too.
An amazing super cute cafe, with lots of travel novels and various arts all around. Must go to place if you are looking for a place to work or just spend time, you can stay there without any time limit. Moreover they provide coffee and tea, and the best part is there is WiFi available for free, and you can pay whatever you feel like.
What a place !! You meet over coffee/tea, sit chit chat, share your experience over travelling but pay on your own wish. Yes, they dont have anh specific charge for coffee and tea. They even have drawing table. Paint it pin it there. Totally in love with this concept. Truely an innovative thought to let people bond. Moreover make a travel wish!! In love with this place.
There is a severe dearth of places like Kunzum travel cafe.
I know of this place since 2011 but found time and purpose to visit only last month after almost 8 years
So it is a small area with comfortable sitting which welcomes all
They serve chai, coffee and biscuits only (free but tip as you like)
People are free to network, work, read in silence and talk in hushed tones here
Thought everyone I saw was into their phones the day I came here
BUT it is a super place with a lovely thought behind
Good guys kunzum owner/ manager
Such cute Lil book cafe ❤❤ that to be in hauz khas .I just love this place ,this place gives you a different positive energy, all you need is just go to this place sit n relax drink your coffee (pay on your gernerosity) one of the best place in hauz khas
P.s this place is only for those people who really want to explore something different .If you are looking for some loud music with fancy crowd then please don't go to this place.
Quaint and quiet, it is a great place to unwind with friends or chat with like-minded people. The setup is very relaxed. You can find decent coffee and biscuits that are complimentary ,but do remember to tip in.
If you want a peaceful environment without disturbance of any kind and you just want to read a book or paint or just have a cup of coffee, this is the place for you. Wanna meet travelers? This is the place for you. Broke but still wanna go out? This is perfect. An amazing travel themed cafe in Hauz Khas Village where you can sit for hours and do whatever you like. You can have various tea, tasty biscuits, and peace. The travel and photography stuff here is a plus. A very good place to chill out with friends or even alone.
And all this for...meh. Pay what you want 😉
How often do you want to just go and sit somewhere to do whatever you want?
You can do your work in absolutely silence such as Working on your laptop with full focus, not like those Starbucks wannabe’s who just pretend to work. C'mon no body can work in a chaotic coffee shop such as Starbucks.
If your squad wants to plan a trip, then this is the perfect place. This place boasts of multiple travel books and magazines, which can be read free of cost.
Only coffee and tea are available here along with some cookies. And guess what, they won't charge you for your order, you have to pay whatever you wish to.
You just drop whatever amount of money in a wooden box situated there & no one looks at you.
Bloggers usually come here share their stories chit chat with you as well. So if you guys want to have “Me time” then definitely pay a visit.
In Hauz Khas and want a calm and soothing place. Kunzum is the right answer. It’s a very small cafe which offers only tea and coffee along with some extra delicious cookies. The cafe is known for it’s ambience, it is surrounded by photos of travellers. Along with that they have a specific section for creative people, they can paint, draw, etc. you can also create a travel bucket list here for yourself. As far as price is concerned, they ask you to pay as much as you want. In here you are please requested to be decent (give a minimum 50) since this is the only money the cafe gets to run. I visit this cafe every time I wish to run away from maddening chaos of HKV
Whatever you do, you do on your own. If you really want to introspect and enjoy random conversations or even looking for a calm working comfy place, visit this place. For me, its been 6 years that I have been visiting this place, and it still feels the same to me. Thats the beauty of it :)
This place is one of the hidden gem in Hauz Khas Village. The moment you enter inside this cafe you will get positive vibes and make you feel like a traveller. I liked this place alot. They provide you tea / coffee ( as per your preference) along with cookies at free pf cost but you should pay a reasonable amount. I did not like cookies though. You will find many travel books inside this cafe. I enjoyed a good amount of 'Me time' here. You can meet and make friends with travel members as well.
Kunzum travel cafe is a saviour in haus khas village for less-party type crowd and more like a peaceful barrier from it. The decor is simple and walls are attacked by bookshelves all over relate to the world of travel.
An indian styled seating with beautiful wooden block acting as a coffe table top!
You can chill or hangout with your friends while sipping onto the coffee or tea with delicious cookies served by them
And you know what the best part is?
You pay as you like! What could be better than that?
A must visit especially for the people who love to travel ;)
You’re welcome!
➡How often do you want to just go and sit somewhere(not some park or cafe)and do whatever you want? Well I visited Kunzum travel cafe and I must say it can be the answer to your question.
➡ You can simply go there to read a book,do your work or maybe catch up with a friend. There are even art and craft supplies available if you want to work on your artistic side.
➡ Only coffee and tea are available here along with some biscuits and you can pay any amount you like in a wooden box right next to the main door (no one will judge you for how much you pay but please be decent). There is a volunteer present who'll make coffee/tea for you, you'll be provided with sugar and milk powder so that you can add it according to your taste.
➡They even publish travel books which you can buy for ₹100 from there itself. They have a board where people put up their travel wishes and reading them made me so happy.
.
.
🌟 I personally loved the concept, the coffee was great, and I know I'll be visiting this place a lot.
➡P.S They have various events here from time to time which you can go to, too.
A friend of mine took me to this quaint little café yesterday, for the first time and I felt so bugged for not having known about its existence earlier. The concept of this café is extremely unique. Hanging out with friends or strangers who turn into friends, discussing about varied experiences, attending various events or just quietly enjoying a cup of coffee (which they'll serve with some amazing wafer like biscuits) while reading, painting or doing your work, this café provides all these facilities at a nominal cost. Its "pay as you like" concept is a unique one. An amazing place to have an amazing time without burning a hole in your pocket?! What more can anyone ask for?
It is a hidden gem in Hauz Khas Village, traveler should drop by here for peace and some quiet moments. Or the best is, exchange travel info, travel experience with other travelers.
An amazing place for readers, painters basically artists. One can never guess that such a peaceful place is situated in Hauz Khas. The main concept of this place is that they won't charge you for your order, you have to pay whatever you wish to. Nobody will even look at how much you're paying.
You can also sit here for as long as you want.
Bloggers usually come here share their stories chit chat with you as well.
Such a peaceful place full of so many travel stories of people. One can vicariously enjoy it. So far the best place in hauz khas village to spend time with yourself. 😍
This is my favorite place to go to have some "me" time. A person who looks out for some alone time with coffee/chai, and loves traveling too. Then, it's a paradise I believe. They have a big board to stick travel wishes. And amazing part was about my visit, I got to read the diaries kept by the owner. Also this cafe is run by the travel blogger on donations. So you don't pay, you donate how much you feel like giving. But yeah if you will ask for extra cup, then the care taker will ask for 100 bucks for that. The wall is filled with the photographs clicked by the owner. There are books magazines (travel)
Also there are events held in there, so it's a bonus point for who loves attending slam poetry sessions or some travel based events.
This is such a lovely and unique get-together kind of place. The place gives you a peace of mind and a sense of belonging. Designed on the theme of travel and adventure, you can find lots of travelogue to grab and spend your time having a cup of tea in chilled winter night. They generally have people from different communities across the world hanging out together discussing random stuff, with one thing in common-they are mostly travel freak. You also have a travel wish board where you can pick a sticky note and put your own travel wish. You may find lots of other such wishes hanging there, with few photographs and stories for others to cherish. Everything is unique in this place, they don't have a very commercial sort of menu. It's simple tea and snack and an old uncle could make it in one corner of the room. They serve this complementary snack with tea/coffee which is fab. The most surprising element is their billing. They won't ask you to pay any fixed amount. It's just a voluntary contribution, whatever you feel like giving. Would definitely love to visit here more often.
This place is amazing and different
I love this place , this place is unique in itself ,if u want to spend some time with books then it is right place for u ,it's small but good ,the highlight is the travel board we can put our emotion dream on a piece of paper
This place is unique in itself. It gives you the feeling of belonging to a community, a sense one sees increasingly lost after college. You can sit and draw, paint, read. Do whatever you like. You can order teas and coffee from the volunteer who will serve you. You may donate as much as you like in a box by the door. I have never felt more relaxed in a public place. I have to admit that even the crowd there consisted of educated folks, contributing as a factor to my feeling at home.
The ambience represents a traveller’s outlook with photographs mostly from the North-East.
A one of a kind cafe! Just perfect place to read, write, study, discuss..anything and everything creative. They provide you with the stationary and delicious coffee with delicious bicuits . You just have to pay whatever you wish for! You can just not miss on this place. It is AMAZING❤
One of the best place for Traveller or photographer located in the heart of hauz khas village. This place serves you coffee and cookies but didn't charge you a penny. It gives you a lot of travel memory and inspiration that will generate a new power in you.
Not an actual cafe in the true sense, but DEFINITELY one of a kind in the entire city of Delhi. The peaceful aura that wraps itself around this small yet very cozy "cafe" is something to experience. Perfect to hangout for a study session or just chill around and gossip with your friends for a while. They have a nice collection of books and travel brochures and catalogues for different domestic and international destinations too, so you don't really have the chance to get bored! Their complimentary tea also is such a wonderful thing they have and you don't even have to pay for it, however I would like to advise people to shell out any generous amount of money to support and thank the cafe owner for making such a nice environment.
love the idea of pah as you like. i went for some workshop here and i lime the whole idea of how kunzum operated and their love for tracelling. its truely a nice place for tourists to hangout , chit-chat n make new friends.
I have been coming here since I was a school girl who very fervently convinced all her friends that this was the coolest place in town. Whether it is their ambience, the delicious coffee and biscuits with the wooden spoons, their group discussions and photography workshops, Kunzum is an idea which is not like any other in town. They don’t ask for money, it’s your choice to pay however you please.
Cute little hole in the wall kinda place. Visited with a friend for basically just conversations and was pleasantly surprised when I was told its a "pay whatever you like" place.
Great place for reading / planning / finishing projects. Definitely has a vibe going.
Nice, cosy and quiet place filled with memories..
Limited food options, but a great place to sit and chat or just work with a cup of coffee. Would recommend to go with your friends to plan a trip and sit in peace.
Kunzum is a beautiful travel cafe. More than the snacks and beverages, they sell conversations. Talks on travel, postcards, memories and more! It's a beautiful cafe to sit back, relax, plan trips and enjoy a warm cup of coffee and cookies. Located in the colorful Hauz Khas village the cafe is beautifully designed. It's unfair to rate it on Zomato since they have very limited food options but otherwise it's a beautiful and creative place to visit
A small cozy cafe in the capital city of India, giving you free coffee and cookies along with free wifi.
It is run by a travel blogger and charges "Pay what you like". It has a peaceful ambience providing you a space to read books, write and chill.
Kunzum cafe is a must for people who love traveling in groups. Nice place for discussion over a tea or coffee.
They offer you flavoured tea and espresso coffee. And you can pay whatever you want to for their service.:)
If you want to spend some time with you and your books then it is the right place to come. This is very quiet place....you can find your coffee with your books. You can listen music with some chocolate biscuits. Which I never find anywhere else. If you wanna have a serious chat with your buddy where you don't want any sound disturbance. Then come here.
Its a small, cosy travel cafe filled with experiences and stories. The main highlight is the travel board, Emotions and dreams weaved on a small piece of paper. Sip your tea with books and people. Totally thumps up!!!!!
Though the place is little hard to find at a glance, but a really nice place to hangout with like-minded people. I had bumped into Mulaqaat - a poetry event when I visited. Who knows what's in store for you here!
Investing my afternoon with my friend Saurabh at a place which is a traveller's paradise and at a place which has now become popular to conduct talks/open-mic events, Kunzum Travel Cafe.
I figured out that Kunzum is a name of the pass in Manali. I thought still there'd be any other reason but came to know about Ajay Jain's (the founder of the cafe) decision to establish a space like Kunzum which takes its name from the pass, Kunzum-La during his adventure trip in 2007.
Moving on, the moment I enter the cafe, there's nothing sort of a cafe. I didn't find anyone shouting, "Welcome to 'Fucking-Shithole' Saar"; I was actually missing that artificial and accentuated welcome.
Everything is unlike what's one's idea of a cafe. But I discovered when I left the place that the stress is NOT on Cafe but on TRAVEL!
It's a lively place, even when the cafe is not full of people its always brimming of stories, find the travel books & magazines on your table and you'll know why I'm saying this.
And so my journey to discover the stories from this tiny place started. The place doesn't have a rate-list, just ask the bhaiya there to guide you through the varieties of fresh flavours of tea and coffee brews they've and they'll serve you. We got our Masala tea and Assamese tea on a wooden table with milk powder and sugar, as you like and a designer plate with delectable cookies with it. It's 'pay-as-you-like' and it's really a good thing if you can donate.
So, here i am 'investing' my afternoon in this warm place which inspired me to make the best of this phase of my life and travel, budget travel to be precise. There's this board where people have had their wishlists attached, it's crazy to find it so full just like metro even after the price hike!
And I learned that Ajay happens to be an engineer, then did management followed by journalism.
And you can also become a distinguished member, no they don't have a fellowship it's a super-creative method to identify their patrons. Kunzum has started this, KUNZUM PASSPORT (Kunzum Citizen) wherein every time you come to Kunzum and you ask for a free Wifi your passport will be stamped and whenever there is an event going on, people with passports shall be prioritized, it is all because of the space constraint. By the way, the cafe is very welcoming.
So I reviewed @kunzum_we_travel
Kumkum travel cafe
And I think I am not wrong to say that I reviewed one of the best cafe's of my life... Being a chef and a travel freak I really enjoyed in this cafe. The concept is just speechless.
It is best place to spend quality time.
I had a cup of coffee here and had a day remembering memories with my travelling.
It was a lovely time with them... Review 5/5
What's not to like?
Sip coffee, read the beautiful notes that people who have traveled every where have written, and enjoy the perfectest day of your life.
Its a nice silent space for people to just chill on their own. Nice coffee. Great cookies. You can pay whatever you want, yep that's right. And great people!
Very well decorated. Such a peaceful little place amidst all the HKV noise.
Much love to you guys.
A peaceful place to visit in the HKV where you can sit and do your work using the free WIFI which the café provides. Also do enjoy a huge cup of darjeeling tea and biscuits which the café offers. Pose with the "make a travel wish" wall and enjoy. All this absolutely free. You can pay whatever you like in the money box.
Kunzum Travel Cafe is the very first place I'd visited in Hauz Khas Village, back in the day when HKV didn't use to be this over commercialized and over crowded hub that it is today.
It is a laid back coffee shop which offers a few simple beverages like tea, area varieties of it, coffee, along with cookies. A person can either choose to sit and relax, or browse through the collection of books at the cafe and choose to read whatever catches their fancy, or even meet people, exchange travel stories and make friends.
The pay what you want/pay what you like concept is what sets the place apart from a lot of other coffee shops. When I'd visited it used to be a self service place, don't know if it still one.
Love the ambience and vibe of the cafe!
So this has just become my go-to place in Delhi. I especially come here to sit and relax. It's quiet, the ambience is amazing and no one disturbs you. There is no menu, just coffee, tea and biscuits. Sit as long as you want and have as much coffee as you want. And when you are leaving, pay as you like. It's a great place for travellers, students or anyone at all to do some reading or listen to some music.
They also have free WiFi.
Kunzum is not everyone's cup of tea though. But you must visit it once.
P.S.: They have their in-house magazines, books and postcards. They are worth a look.
Caffeine loaded for the winters & a good company always.
The sandwich wasn't upto the mark tough.
Happy talk.
Feel free to talk to strangers, healthy environment.
Planning a trip with friends or have to work out on things or need to find next destination to visit suerly visit this place for all the discussion regarding the same. Simply organized with travel books all around. They have there membership and organize trips too.
If u are merely hungry for food not the place to be. But hungry for travel visit it. U can have coffee or tea and pay whatever u feel like.
An unusual cafe, a bit different any one who want to relax or want to enjoy his lone time can come here. Wifi, silence, coffee what else you need? 😬.. don't forget to pin your travel dreams!
Amazing place in hauz khaz to have tea for a change instead of beer.. amazing ambiance for readers and travellers to exchange ideas and experiences.. the books written by the owner of the place are very informative and exciting for a travelling enthusiast.. and as I said great tea..
I visited this place for the first time today and i really loved the experience. Staff is good and it is quite peaceful to sit there and spend some alone time.
A cool and calm place to just sit and read or relax, work, the very concept of this cafe is out of the box. Order your tea or coffee and munch on their delicious biscuits while you're there. And don't forget to pin your travel dreams on their board!
This is an amazing place for people who love to talk over coffee. If coffee dates are your thing, try visiting kunzum travel cafe. Also, you pay as much as you want for they have no fixed rates. Lovely ambiance.
This is the kind of place you need to visit sometimes. Subtle ambiance, no loud music, no throngs of people moving around. Just a quiet little place for nice talks over a cup of tea/coffee. The coffee was actually very good and the place was actually sort of soothing. A must visit place when you're looking for some serenity.
Ambience - 4/5
Food -
Service - 4/5
Situated close to Hauz khas fort. This place is good to meet new people over a cup of tea or coffee. It's got a lot of travel books written by the owner and also a pretty good WiFi. Works based on donation. Kinda liked the biscuits they serve with teas.
A place for solo travelers.... Nice coffee... Atmosphere totally different from other Cafes... U could spend 2-3 hr by reading books there..
Have you ever heard about the place where u can sit down, chill have coffee, talk about whatever u felt like, read book,.Share your experience with people out there,nd at last but not least Pay whatever u think of....!!
If you're coffee lover nd ready to explore such place then Kunuzum Travel Cafe is definitely ur cup of tea.
The place not that big, it's small n cozy. The AC wasn't working properly when we visited so didn't spend too long time there. There you will get many varieties to drinks like masala chai, green tea, lemon tea, black coffee, filter coffee many of them. They also give you the biscuits as complimentary. Also they didn't ask you for money or bill, you just have to give donation in the box how much you like!! Have nice time.
What's special RM about this place is the pay what you wish theme! Really unique and interesting. .. Great place to catch up with friends or unwind on a weekend. The coffee is awesome !!
Friendly staff. Go and sit and have a chat no one with bother you. Look at the pictures around. Sit comfortably. Read the travel magazine. Sip tea or coffee. Both are good.
The cafe is a breath of fresh air amongst the noisy pubs in HKV. It has sit down cushions, small tables, wall full of travel inspiration, experiences and aspirations. They serve only tea, coffee and milk among beverages; and biscuits to eat along.
The cafe has an interesting set of folks visiting, mostly to get away from the city hustle, to have heartfelt conversations or to just unwind reading the travel books on the cafe's shelf. An absolutely delightful place, which asks you to pay as you wish. :)
It's hard to believe that a place like Kunzum with their 'Pay what you like' service exists in Delhi's most expensive village - the Hauz Khas village! The ambiance is cozy and casual. Ideal place to hang out with friends or special someone. They also organize various workshops, which make this place quite a happening hub of creative people! Do try their unique cookies, they are simply awesome!
Wow...i never thought a place like this would exist in the heart of Hauz khas village. I was just passing by several cafes and pubs....and suddenly saw this coffee house from far. The decor looked cool from outside. So decided to visit. The moment i stepped in...i was sure, that it would be different experience. I asked for coffee. And sat on the comfortable "mudda" as we say in Hindi. Till the time i got my coffe...i was just gazing on the colourful wall decorated with some really artistic paintings and photographes. The Ambiance is quite antique and cool. I found this place really peaceful. Meanwhile i was busy gazzing and enjoyin the cafe...i got my coffee served on my table. And trust me..it was unique and special from other coffee houses. There you would find one magazine and novel section...which you could read while sipping your coffee/Tea. Once i was done..i asked the uncle sitting there...how much do i need to pay. He said in the most humbled voice...you can pay as much as you want. There is brown box...put as much as you want. I have been to this kinda place for the first time. And it was an amazing experience. ❤
This cafe is situated right in the heart of Hauz khas village. With a very different concept, this cafe simply touches the right chord. The interiors of the cafe are all inspired with travel quotes, stories and photographs.
There are two very generous uncles who will serve you with various kinds of tea and coffee and with cookies. The fact that this cafe serves something very different from the regular trendy cafes of Delhi is what makes it stand out from all.
Overall, a very fine cafe which you can visit with your friends and family for a relaxed chatting session over a cup of tea or coffee.
A one of a kind place I have seen in Delhi with 'Pay What You Like' service. The cafe is small with casual seating and it is really very calm and silent. With an option of having tea and coffee of different varieties with biscuits, the place also has some magazines and books for sale.
We were there for a meeting with a colleague and just loved the amazing ambiance of the place. I'm definitely going back to this place
Quite peaceful and calm, an ideal place to sit, chill, work and study. We had our meeting their and it was quite a great experience. Nikhil Kamath and I were there for a meeting.
Totally justifying it's name, Kunzum Travel café is a great place to chill, especially for travel enthusiasts like me. The walls are decorated with maps and scenic portraits. There's an uncle who would oblige and prepare tea/coffee/green tea, as you like, and serve with cookies.
Best part about this place is the wall where people pin up their Travel Wish! You can't help it but pin up yours too.
You can meet fellow travelers and leave your travel experiences at this café. It's an amazing place to catch up with your friends. Lastly, Kunzum will really give you a homely feeling and you can pay as you please - just drop the money in the box while you exit!
One of a kind, this is a must visit place. A peaceful place among all the places in hauz khas, if you looking for decent coffee/tea. A nice place to spend time and relax. Its specialty is "pay as you like" thing, where you get to decide, how much you want to pay. They serve only coffee/tea with some biscuits.
Reminds me of good time spent there with friends. Quite place to dive deep into retrospect or a thick book. Free Wi-Fi & pay what you like for Cafeen, yes you read it correct 😁
It's a not so popular but is a fantastic cafe..It serves lip smacking beverages and cookies..I tasted Assam tea that was awesome in taste..The ambience is quite unique, colourful with wooden furnitures, positive atmosphere quite there..Here you can sit and discuss with your friends with a cup of tea in your hand..Great place to visit..!!!
Cheap and best place to hangout with frnds in Hauz Khas.
Have Ginger n Assam tea anytime u go here and get a complimentary biscuits with it...
Such a nice, warm and fresh place. You can just go and have long, great conversations over tea. It's decorated with pictures of all over India and really inspires you to travel. They've got 2 cute uncles who serve tea, coffee or green tea with cookies. Amazing place, no fuss, amazing concept.

Travel leaves you speechless , then turns you into a storyteller !
Went to Kunzum Travel Cafe in HKV yesterday and found this cute little passport notebook which costs 200 bucks.
Well it's quite inspiring to write and share your travel stories along with people in this cafe. Amazing concept of pay what you like and a great place to chill over a cup of coffee with your fellas. It's a house of many traveling encyclopaedias and other books as well.. They also host few workshops , events etc for people every now and then..it's a must visit for travel enthusiasts 😍
Totally out of the box. You can only get tea, coffee and cookie here but the best part is PAY WHAT YOU LIKE. Yes, you heard right. Enjoy the beverage and pay what you like. Decoration is the another part of attraction along with the furniture. Its a must visit place.
This is one of my favorite places to go on my own for a day of peace and chai! With nothing to worry about and with no bills to pay at the end it is like a home where you are not forced to talk to people but you can find some extremely interesting people who probably share your passion for travel and/pr photography...
Nice cafe devoted for travel talks and other travel related events. Started with an unique concept, attracted lot of travel fraternity but somehow it is not as popular with locals as it looked liked initially that it would become. May be the owners need to infuse some novel ideas. Also, focusing on a few ideas and not dabbling into many may work. Space is another constraint but the location covers up for that to a great extent
One of the best places iv been to. It has such a vibrant and positive atmosphere that once can enjoy peace and quality time with friends and alone too. It is my favourite spot at Hauz khas village. The uncle serves tea or coffee with Chunky buiscuits are a major attraction. I love eating those cookies. In conclusion, this cafe is a must go , if you love to chill and have a good conversation, thus place is the best.
Though the entrance is small but it transforms into a different world as soon as you enter the place. You can find groups chattering and discussing among themselves about different stories.
The walls are adorned with pictures from over the world which makes you feel that you certainly traveled to totally different latitudes. the small stools for setaing and the wooden tables gives the ethnic and serene
ambience. It is the perfect place to unwind and spend a lazy afternoon with books and music. No matter you are happy or in a pensive mood, this place will be a perfect companion for you in both the ocassiojns.
The important part is that they dont charge you for the coffee and snacks and you are free to pay anything you want in their dropbox. You make friends, share stories, make travel partners. The books and
magazines help you to kill more of your time. The Wifi which is totally free before is actually got limited but it never hinders your stay here. The colourful walls, postcards, travel stories as
sticky notes transcends you long away from your social and corporate life.
Kumzum Café is a gem in Hauz Khas Village. It's a very quiet and beautiful place where you can sit and read books along with some good coffee and tea. It's very serene to sit their. They offer really good coffee and some biscuits along with it. If you like being alone, this can be your go to place...
Ah, what a great find this is. This is a small outlet near the ancient site at the Hauz Khas village. I did not know anything about this when I walked in. This place only serves coffee and tea. But it is free, and you may pay whatever you want. So I paid for the experience and not for the coffee. They have nice travel magazines, and quirky products like Kunzum passport, and books Mr. Ajay Jain wrote who is also a travel writer and photographer. This is a unique cafe I walked in. I like the concept, and you may meet other travelers here.
High reviews to this place because it has been able to retain its charm as a travel cafe. Visit there to meet fellow travelers amd backpackers from around the world.
The menu is limited. Only chai, coffee and cookies. And you pay as per your happiness. There are no fixed bills.
The shelves are filled with travel books and the walls with travel pics. A must visit for every backpacker.
Kunzum Travel Cafe is bae! With their cozy ambience and 'pay what you like' service, it's an amazing place to find solitude. It's a place where you can just sit and read a book or sketch and just relax or have conversation with someone over a cup of tea or coffee. And those lovely cookies they serve with it are a cherry on the top. I absolutely love this place and if you haven't been here then you must go check it out at least once.
Its a place for people who really want to spend quality time, talking, reading , sketching , anything u want to. They serve really good fliter coffee, and home made biscuits, and it is one of those cute littele cafes whose simplicity and the quiet aura will consume your soul.
It's a very unique and interesting cafe. You can even go there alone, have a cup of coffee and can attend the events which take place there very frequently.
A regular visitor of this place. The place has a welcoming and happy vibe, the yellow lights, books, photographs. The best part about this cafe is their unique concept : pay what you like, and on top of that the coffee that they serve is amazing with the chocolate cookies.
Ambience :5/5

Kudos to the place 😉👌
Its the perfect place for any travel enthusiast. This place shows how beautifully a space can be occupied. The food is good, you can chill here for hours, with friends or even alone. Plus they have this concept where you pay for what you like. The drinks and the amazing cookies are on the house too!
If you need a breather from the hustle- bustle of HKV and are in search of a peacful abode, Kunzum Cafe is the place for you.
Absolutely one of a kind! Being a tourism tourism and travelling enthusiastic, Simply loved this place.😍Haven't been to any such cafe with a unique concept. If you wanna get away from the other typical hkv places to a much peaceful place. This place is perfect if you wanna read a book, talk to others and share your thoughts or even work. They provide different kinds of magazines, novels to read which are mostly based on travelling and destinations. You can sit here as long as you want and they also provide free wifi. 🤗Even working becomes interesting here and I work any day choose working here rather than my home. I visited this place with my friend since we needed a peaceful place to work while we sip our hot beverages. You can choose from variety of teas available and coffee. Loved the coffee and delectable cookies served here. I totally commend the owner Mr.Ajay Jain that he has put together such an amazing place that stands out in the crowd. However I found the sitting a bit uncomfortable and according to me floor seating would be much more comfortable😃
Also, love their USP i.e You can pay whatever you like according to your experience.👍🏻
Finally! We caffeine addicts found a place in the Capital city of India, where you get tea, coffee and cookies and Pay What You Like, along with free Wifi. Kunzum Travel Café is a niche little place in Hauz Khas Village, run by a travel blogger Ajay Jain. Unique and different from any other cafe in Delhi, It’s a small cosy place with a few seats, the walls are adorned with travel photography and bookshelves. There is a Make-a-Travel Wish board pinned with interests of various travelers. The cafe serves a good big mug of tea, coffee (separate, that is, add milk and sugar according to taste) and cookies and you get to “pay what you like”.
I am seriously in love with this place. Being a travel writer myself, I give all brownie points to Ajay for putting up such a wonderful place in Hauz Khas. Kunzum Cafe is really a bright example of how beautifully one can utilise the given space. It's a place you can visit with your friends or all alone. A great place to interact with like-minded people, interact and share ideas. And to accompany are cups of some well-made tea and offee, complemented by cookies. You can sit there and chill for hours. Even working becomes fun when you are doing it inside Kunzum.
I heard heard about this Cafe many times but couldn't believe that they work on "Pay what you like concept" until I visited this place. Cozy travel cafe with good coffee and cookies.
Tucked in a little corner of hauz khas village,
Is this Beauty!
The place is has such amazing vibes. Just being there for a couple of minutes calms you down.
They have these memories wherein people pen down their travel stories and other travel books.
Plus , the home made biscuits that accompany the coffee are HEAVENLY! I wish I could take a whole carton home!
One of the best cafes in HKV and personally one if my favorite places to relax or to catch up with a friend. This place doesn't charge for the beverages and the cookies they offer, you can pay whatever you like to. I like the pay what you like concept. If you love traveling then you will definitely like this place as its a traveler's cafe.
Overall rating.

If I had to list down my top 10 favourite places in Delhi, this place wouldn't go down beneath 3rd. Ever since I accidentally found this artsy little café in the alley of hauz khas back when hauz khas village was not suffocated by the all the tacky outlets and drunk, rich kids, it has been my absolute favourite. I have spent many a lazy afternoons sipping on coffee reading novels during my college years and it has been absolutely exhilarating.
Today, in the urban jungle of HKV, it stands as a stark contrast to everything bad about commercialisation.
Beautiful little book shop that has a variety of books of all genres. The collection here is superb, and as is the case with every Kunzum outlet, every book you buy gets you a complimentary coffee and cookies, which is a nice touch, really.
Definitely recommendee if you are a book lover. ❤️
Stepping into Kunzum Cafe feels like entering a world where travel stories come alive. The cozy and inviting ambiance, adorned with maps, vintage photographs, and souvenirs from across the globe, creates an immersive experience that sparks curiosity and wanderlust in every visitor. Their genuine passion for travel shines through, making every interaction memorable and inspiring.
In a place full of clubs and cafes, there is a hidden book store which has my heart. They have a perfect interior with a perfect color combination and a best collection of books of every genre. You can also purchase any book and sit there to read it. It's a place you never want to leave.
Nice place, lots of positive vibes and lots of story to read, they have different notepads in which wrote there travel experience which can give you serious travel goals. You just sip on your coffee and go through them. Very quite and definitely a spot to meet like minded people

So many interesting books! They didn’t have any books on the history behind Indian holiday so I just got this book. Any recommendations on what to read to learn more about India? Follow my Instagram and DM me 😊
A one of a kind place I have seen in Delhi with 'Pay What You Like' service. The cafe is small with casual seating and it is really very calm and silent. With an option of having tea and coffee of different varieties with biscuits, the place also has some magazines and books for sale.
We were there for a meeting with a colleague and just loved the amazing ambiance of the place. I'm definitely going back to this place

It's a great place for travellers one can exchange travel stories with others.. write and read books :) great place for relaxing ^_^
They provide your relaxing tea and coffee
And you can pay as you like :)
The cafe is cool. The idea of the cafe is super cool. You become the member and get concessions for trips and travel workshops. You can sip coffee and give as much money as possible ( less or more , doesn’t matter). A must visit.
Love with their collection's of book's. Staff is very polite and good.
Probably one of its kind; excellent for people interested in travelling. You can read / buy travel related books here, attend weekly workshops on travel/photography that they organize, just sit and chat with your friends, pin your travel wish on a huge note-board already jam packed with tons of previously pasted wishes, doodle/draw some cool art work if you are into that sorta stuff. They also have free wifi.
The USP is the amazing french-press coffee and tea that they serve (with cookies), for which you can pay whatever you feel like when you leave the place (the money is supposed to be deposited in a small treasure like box by the entrance)! Found the concept to be really interesting.
Pro Tip 1: They don't serve food / snacks, ONLY tea / coffee / cookies, so please keep that in mind!
Pro Tio 2: The "chairs" are basic (round cane stools), and can get uncomfortable after an hour or so.
Good selection of environmental books, although more wildlife guides would be useful. It’s clean and quiet and nicely decorated. Features many Indian and local authors and books on Delhi.
They have come with a very interesting and creative idea. They serve only tea and coffee without any rates but you can pay whatever you feel is the worth. The ambiance is so unique that you can read, paint. Their walls are decorated with the pictures of people from corners of the world. And you got to see the travel wish wall, which is very mesmerizing to read read travel wishes of so many people and you can add yours. The place is good to visit with friends, couple, meet up with new bunch of people and you can visit yourself and indulge in your own stuff.
Beautiful cafe specially the creative atmosphere there. Just loved the travel wish wall. Coffee and tea were not on rates but you pay whatever you like. A new concept, unique one actually. The ambiance was clam with full of artistic. Will definitely visit it again and this time with my set of paints.
A cute lovely book cafe..with loads of pictures and sceneries. I went there for a book launch. It was amazing calm place in Hauz Khas. I totally fell in love with the ambience and peace at the place. It’s really cost effective with offering delicious coffee and cookies❤️❤️
I loved this place....were all travellers meet at one place...they offer you coffee and cookies and don’t ask you to pay....pay what you wish they won’t ask. Good collection of books too✅♥️
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kunzum Bookstore in the heart of Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The store's quaint and quiet ambiance immediately caught my attention, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
What sets Kunzum Bookstore apart is their unique practice of serving coffee with the purchase of books. It's a wonderful gesture that enhances the reading experience and makes you feel right at home. I spent a couple of hours engrossed in their wide collection of books, which catered to various interests and genres.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, ready to recommend hidden gems or engage in literary conversations. It truly felt like a haven for book lovers, a place where you can lose track of time while exploring the realms of literature.
If you're in search of a peaceful retreat to immerse yourself in a good book, Kunzum Bookstore is the perfect destination. The combination of their inviting atmosphere, complimentary coffee, and extensive book selection makes for a memorable and enriching experience.
It's a small cozy room cafe. They host a lot of events like poetry, open mic, travel meetups, art workshops. I attended one such event named as Women travel meetup.
Really good coffee. I’m surprised they serve such good coffee, inspite of their pay-as-you-please business model. On par with any other coffee centric cafe.. like blue tokai or Starbucks.
Their biscuits/cookies they serve with the coffee/tea are amazing.
