The most famous joint for aalu tikki and Bhalla Papdi in Delhi. They are unbeatable in taste, tried aalu tikki and Bhalla Papdi there, they were finger licking good. Huge space available for parking because it’s an open area road side joint. Hygiene was taken care and service was also up to the mark. Location is easily accessible because it’s a famous one the UPSC Lane.

I just loved bhallaa papdi and aloo tikki papdi.
There's no seating arrangement but you won't regret coming to this place because it won't take more than 2 min to finish your chaat. ;)

This is one place i have been coming over the years now. This is one old place where our parents find that same old school nostalgia of coming and eating here when they were young. I remember my dad telling me stories about how amazingly good the chat used to be here and how he used to save money to come here with his friends for chat party.
This is not just my story, half the people who come and eat here are present for the nostalgia of it. My dad tells that the taste has reduced a bit but that still d oesn't reduce the his love for this place. Everytime we are in Delhi or any guest is in Delhi, he suggests this place as the first in his list.
The prices are all somewhere betweeon 50-70 bucks and the quality and quantity are both impressive. The chat is made fresh right in front of you and it is delicious. Over the years, i have eaten almost everything more than 10 times. My favorite has to be the Aloo tikke and the aloo chat. The Bhalla papdi is what is the most famous dish of this place however, i am not a fan of it honestly. I also like Dahi panipuri but nothing beats the hot crispy tikke deep fried in desi ghee topped with chutneys and dahi. The dahi needs a special mention, for it is so thick, creamy and delectable. The cold dahi and the consistency that goes on the chat is clearly a match made in heaven.

Its mostly crowded with waiting time atleast 10-15 mins.
We tried the dahi bhalla papri, it had pieces of papri with dahi chutney and masalas spread over, the papri was crunchy and the flavours were amazing.
Tikka was soft but had the right crunch with chutneys, masala, onions and dahi spread.

This place is great in terms of street food. I had Aalok tikki and it was absolutely yumm. Beware of monkeys who throng the place. A generous portion, and an even generous filling, spread of yogurt, chutney and their signature masala, which they sprinkle on the top make it a delicacy worth trying.

If you love bhala papdi and dahi papdi then this place is definitely for you awesome taste their green chutney is just wow. You can also try aloo chaat but they add too much spices in aloo chaat that I personally don’t like.

Had a heard alot about the UPSC chaat lane and got a chance to visist. Prabhu jis generation has the best hand at chaat in Delhi. The Aloo Chaat and Papdi Chaat is to die for.
Their Gol Gappas are lip smacking too. Just subtly sweet with Hing and Sour balanced equally. The prices are nominal in terms of the quantity they serve.
A must try when near India Gate.
This is a small stall near UPSC Office. It serves amazing Kulfi Faluda which is highly recommended.
They put Roohafza on the top of Kulfi and Falooda.
There is no seating but it is worth trying it.
Bhalla papdi chat. Here the secret is the aaloos channas mixes with bhalla with papdi and mixed with dahi green chutney and brown chutney which gives a wonderful taste.

Next stop was Prabhu chaat bhandar from the lane of shahjahan road near upsc. In my hand there was a aloo chat & crispy tikki. Both were delightful in taste & the crispy aloo chaat was 🤤🤤🤤💕. The speed of serving was totally amazing.

Today I visit this outlet which is near upsc office it is opened medium shop but her environment is smell badly sometimes but the snack's taste is awesome if you visit near india gate or upsc office u should visit.

Visited this place today after a recommendation from a friend. We reached around 7:00pm and almost all of the items were finished. They only had the option of Aaloo tikki and Bhalla papdi. So we decided to have both. We liked tikki much better than the Bhalla papdi. The sweet red sauce and the spices added a very unique taste to the tikki which made it special. Best time to visit the place is between 12 pm - 6 pm
This has been the best chaat corner in town. Their papri chaat, aloo chaat and aloo tikki Chaat clubbed with their creamy kulfis; evey tiny bit is droolworthy.

Crossing UPSC and not having tikki from this place means you missed something. Coming from years to this small food joint and still that crave to try aloo tikki will never disappeared from the mind.
the crispy potato patty with masala,mint, saunte chutney and dahi was the best concoction.
I feel the vermicelli is slightly tasteless but kulfi give little backup to it with rose syrup in kulfi faluda.
rest option like dahi bhalla, papadi chat, golgappe is to nominal side but only item which I like most is aloo tikki and sometime aloo chat when it's Navratre time.
Please don't write about hygiene as you are eating on street stall not in haldiram. As nowadays people need hygiene which truly understandable but diamond come from coal mine. so speak about diamond not about those dark and dirty coal mine.
I had Bharwa Gol Gappe and Bhalla papdi. Both Are amazing. Owner also very polite. Hygiene can be an issue. But If you're a real foodie, these things will not bother you that much.

A very famed eatery in central Delhi had to be visited. Visited it today and tried out the aloo tikki first. Was very good. Liked it. Except for the thick very sweet chutney. Next in the menu was Bhalla Papdi. Bhalla was good, papdi average. Next was Gulab Jamun which was nicely made, soft and piping hot but have tasted better ones. Overall an okish visit. Ambience is open air since it is a roadside eatery.
I've been visiting this little hole in the wall joint since i was a kid. No ambiance to speak of, no place to sit, but this place still holds a special place in my heart. My personal favorites are the taley aloo ki chat and aloo tikki, whereas my mother prefers their gol gapppas and dahi bhalla chaat papdi.

What I ate-
• Aloo Chaat - spot on! Crispy and perfectly dressed in chutney and masalas. A must try for sure!
• Aloo Tikki - what makes the tikki so special is the crispness! Perfectly seasoned, I even like it without any chutney..
• Gol Gappey - though crisp and tasty, the imly chutney is too plain and one cant differentiate between the taste of the chutney and the gol gappa paani. A little put down in my latest experience.
• Papdi Chaat - Very refreshing.. perfect chaat to treat your tastebuds!
Should you find yourself around this area, must try it out! It’s more than just satisfying to watch the potatoes frying!

If you are fan of street food you must visit Prabhu chat bhandar which is on upsc road. Prices are a bit high but you will be surprised with the flavour. That place is a bit narrow but you must definitely visit this place.
Over the years my cravings for spicy masaledar street food, chat, tikki etc. has grown exponentially, so this place was on my list for long time and finally tried a months back and have gone there for 4-5 times in short span and this place has never let me down. Be it the lentil stuffed tikki or the stuff golgappe or their bhalla papdi chaat, everything is just vfm and does not compromise on quality and quantity. One plate pf any of these can be a tummy filling for normal people who don't eat much. Over the visits the taste has been consistent. The main person is polite too, once I got the token for bharwa golgappe and on giving the token to the guy I was told khatam ho gye, but the man making it(owner) insisted that give him the token I'll make it. So all in all a very good place to go whenever near India gate and you crave for chatpata khana.
This is one of the must go places if you are a fan of Street Chaat. I have tried their gol gappe and bharva golgappe many times. And must say the taste just gets better each time..

I don't live in Delhi, but every time I visit the city, I make it a point to visit this chaat ki dukaan. A place that I personally love. I've been visiting here since my childhood and the taste is still the same - delicious and amazing. The staff is taking care of covid protocols and is following proper safety measures. You must take a token and then let the chaat-wala know the item. A place worth visit and a taste worth experiencing.
I have been coming to this place since 2001. They make one of the best fruit chat and even customize the MIX chat as per your taste. And that too without even showing any agitation. The dude on the fruit chat counter now remembers me by face 😄

This place is also called as "UPSC chaat wala" by a lot of people as it's located in an alley right behind the UPSC building. I ordered their famous "bhalla papdi chaat" and believe me when I say this- it was THE best chaat I have eaten in Delhi till date. I know a lot of people who would rate some places in chandini chowk or chawri bazaar more than this place. But for me it was the best. Everything about this chaat is brilliant from the masalas,chutneys to the bhallas and the sweet curd on top. One would not feel bloated after eating one of their chaats. Well done!
