As Sarojini nagar is one of the best shopping market and this khatta meetha restaurant is also located in the middle.
I tried masala dosa which was very good in taste. It has good seating arrangement though. The staff was very helpful and polite.
If you go sarojini nagar then don't forget to try this great restaurant.
Must try.
This place serves good quality quick bites and indiancuisin food.. I have had ordered dosa from here.. I love dosa and this one was good in taste.. In the lanes of busy sarojini nagar this is a good place to satiate your hunger
I ordered 2 butter masala dosa and 2 coke. This place serves the best masala dosa I have ever had. Dosa was so much buttery I loved it. Looking forward to visit again and have their butter masala dosa again.
It's one of the best and oldest shop in Sarogni Nagar Market. After shopping you can come and enjoy lovely snacks and have wonderful time. Yesterday I was there and we ordered Masala Dosa and Dahi Bhallas. It was delicious. Must visit this restaurant. Staff is very nice here as well.
A good spot for fast food.
Reasonable prices and services are too fast.
I am visiting this place from last 10 years.
It has a good variety of chat.
Different types of Indian cuisine available here
But the place is bit small.
I have had golgappas and pav bhaji from here.
Suji golgappas were really good and yummy. loved them. They were 'chatpata' with good filling.
Pav bhaji was okayish. Bhaji was okay. Pav was good. Served with onion.
Must try golgappas.
So today after some good shopping from Sarojini Nagar market, me and my friends wandering along a crowded lane came across a restaurant which was too crowded.. named khatta meetha... The aroma of the aloo tikki getting fried in front of the restaurant was enough to make us hungry. We managed to find a place to sit inside this restaurant and ordered for masala dosa, aloo tikki chaat and kulfi falooda... Everything was yummy ... The place is clean, service is good and the food is worth the price... :)
Everyone loves visiting Delhi's famous market, Sarojni Nagar. But post the shopping one surely craves for food and a place to sit down and relax at.
Khatta-Meetha turned out to be that savior for me. Located in the market, this shop offers a variety of food options. You have a seating space available and the place is air-conditioned as well.
I tried their Salt & Pepper, Veg Pizza and Paw-Bhaji. All the items were well cooked and delicious. The best part about the place is that you can have hearty meal without burning a hole in your pocket 😁.
Lastly, In case you're willing to have some street food, they do have a Gol-Gappa and Chat counter facility right outside the shop as well 😋.
Have been here a lot of times while shopping in sarojini. The place offers some really great street food and the typical desi touch in their Chinese and South Indian.
Everything here is amazing from chowmein to paapdi chaat, from spring roll dosa to pav bhaji. Even their gol gappe is better than many places in town.
Head here for a quick, tangy and pocket friendly treat. :)
Khatta meetha , is must place for all after a hectic shopping day.
Today I went there with my friend after shopping , we ordered its famous chole bhature and veg chowmein. both the things very yummylicious and the rates are to the pocket.
After a day of crazy shopping at the Sarojini Nagar market, I headed to Khatta Meetha with my friends for a quick meal! We had the Onion Rava Masala Dosa and Veg Chowmein, and it was the perfect desi meal I had after days! Just the perfect taste for someone who misses this typical Delhi vala Khana! We also had the Aloo Tikki Burger which was yum again! Their chaat is amazing, so its a win win from every aspect!
Pocket friendly too, so definitely drop in the next time you are at Sarojini! :D
One of the places i surely visit when i go to sarojini nagar market
The premium thali will make you fully satisfied
The special kulfi that is served with love is my all time favourite
Delhi is the place which is amazing for Chaats.
So while shopping in Sarojini, I found this place & it was crowded. So i just thought to hop in & try some chaat.
So i ordered this Special Stuffed Gol Gappe which was there speciality & Mix Chaat Papri.
I really liked the stuffed gol gappe which tasted different and was really good. Even the Mix papri was good. The dahi used in the chaat was Fresh &the papri was very crispy. Overall a good experience.
They should have more sitting area as it is located in a place where it is going to be always crowded.
And i forgot to mention that the service was superfast and very friendly. The staff was really good.

Heard a lot about this place but never got a chance to go there and taste it. Fortunately, my friend Chronicle Of A Desi Foodie was in town. Got a chance taste their dahi bhalla and bhalla papdi Chaat. To my amazement, it was so good. Flavourful, crunchy and delightful. #khattameetharocks

Khatta Meetha which is situated in Sarojini Market,is a favorite among the locals for a quick snack.(Open from 11:00a.m to 10:00 p.m,Monday-Sunday)
LOCATION: 28,Sarojini Nagar Market,Sarojini Nagar,New Delhi.
SERVICE: This place has a small restaurant where the service is ok but the main attraction is it's small eating stall outside the sitting area...The service is quite prompt in the stall cause many people prefer eating from the stall
FOOD: Only vegetarian dishes are served.Fast food,Chinese and South Indian cuisines are a speciality of this place. Average cost is around 350Rs for two people.Home delivery is also available. No alcohol is served.
We ordered Gol gappa(Pani Puri) which is available in Wheat(Atta) and Semolina(Rava/Suji),Dahi Bhalla,Dahi Bhalla Papdi,Dahi puri...All were just yummy..
REVIEW: Would recommend this place only for a quick snack i.e the chaat...Eating in the restaurant is not feasible as it's quite crowded so service is pretty slow. But the stall counter is quite prompt.
P.S: Don't forget to try their famous Dahi Bhalla..No words can describe it's taste😋😋
An amazing place for a quick meal after shopping spree in Sarojini Nagar. We had Crispy Vegetables Salt and Pepper, Pav Bhaji and Pizza 🍕 . All the dishes were well prepared and tasted good. The place is very pocket friendly too. Vegetable Salt and Pepper is a must try😛😋.
Tried this kulfi on shopping spree of sarojini nagar local market. Found this place quite good for quick snacks and kulfis. They have variety of chaats and snacks options. Kulfi taste was worth the price offered. However, cant rate them 5/5, would give 4/5. Keep it up guys.
The place is well known for it's Fast Foods all over Sarojini Market. We had Raj Kachori, Aloo Tikki and Dhahi Bhalla. The taste is very good and worth what we pay!
Tried Aloo Tikki/Ragda Patty - the Tikki was good, fried properly and had a crunchy outer. It was served with choley , chutney(sweet and spicy) which was just amazing and onion.
Also, tried Gol Gappa-they were too spicy yet very good.
The combination of Meeha and Teekha paani was perfect.
Always crowded but we somehow manage to get a table everytime we go there for shopping.
Firstly the golgappas are must try. We have tried tikki, burgers, raj kachori, pao bhaji.
Our all time fav is chilly garlic noodles 🍜.
This place seems to be good.Hope to try out some more items on next visit.
Here is the famous chole bhature from khatta meetha which serves this at its best. This is the super fine place to visit while shopping at sarojini nagar market. Fully pocket plus apetite friendly and a genuine taste of chole bhature. Overall best place to visit and have this meal.
While on a shopping spree to sarojini nagar, happened to refuel our tummies here.Their chole bhature needs a special mention. The dish was just on point with the perfect blend of masalas in thr chole and super soft bhature served with pickles and onions.Just loved it.Highly recommended. Then we ordered dahi bhalla which was quite bland, although served with two different types of chutney, they flavour did not come out well.Even the dahi did not taste that good. Not satisfied at all.Even the lassi was pre made and served in a sealef plastic cup and found it very average.I guess they need to look into the dahi based products more. The kulfi in dessert was quite expensive but again very good in taste.A little less sweeter than what we usually eat but had a generous amount of nuts stuffed inside and was served with two different types of faluda and sprinklers. It was very filling and quite good.Agaon recommended.Quite a good joint to have a satisfying gastronomic experience
This place has helped me fill my stomach countless times and I am very much grateful to it.
Though crowded for the majority of time as the place is not really big, no one had to go back empty handed (rather stomach) from here.
I absolutely love their chole rice. Of all the chole rice I have tried in this planet and beyond, this is the best one. There wasn't anything bad to say about it. The pav bhaji over here is good as well.
The only problem I felt was that the waiters aren't that customer friendly.
Rating:
Value for money: 4/5
Food: 4.5/5
Overall: 4/5
This is my favourite spot for my hunger cure wen shopping around.. Have been going there since childhood.. The food is super tasty here, probably every item on the menu is great.. But I would like to recommend few dishes that truly stand out.. Chilli Paneer.. I think the best that I have ever tasted. Also, the Veg Noodles.. Super duper yummy, and literally so light, that u dont feel heavy even after slurping down the whole thing! The Chole Bhature, ofcourse, is as good as it can be. In short, this place is good. Highly recommend to all.
If in Sarojini Nagar in Delhi, this is probably the 'go to' place for Chats and Chinese (Indianised Chinese I mean :P)
Its a small restaurant right in the market area and sees constant foot falls through out the day.
It has a variety of chats, chinese and few North Indian dishes on menu and service is rather quick even when its full house.
Typical to taste of Delhi, the dishes here are a burst of flavour on your palate. A word of caution though, few dishes can get very spicy and get your eyes watering...
Except for the noisy ambiance (unfortunately its inherent to the locality), everything else seemed above average.
So instead of my usual 5 point rating, I have given an overall one of 3.5...

This is the only major food joint in Sarojini Nagar Market. I have tried many things here like Pav Bhaji, Veg noodles, Chole Bhature, Veg Momos, Chilly Potato, Aloo Tikki, Masala Dosa, Gol Gappe. All like okayish. I would especially mention 'KULFI Faluda' which is kinda amazing! And the D Paul's cold coffee is a perfect add on sometimes while you shop. ;)
khatta meetha is famous resrto. in s.n markt .Its family restro and my fav dish pao bhaji and faluda kulfi .there is also setting arrangment
It's a very good place for lunches and dinners....
The quantity of food is good....
It can improve on it's seeting arrangements . Thank you.
All things are having amazing taste here. And the special khatta meetha dosa is highly recommended. I also tried the momos here and they were filled with paneer and not with cheese😂😂 as per the menu
The place is well known for it's Fast Foods all over Sarojini Market. We had Raj Kachori, Aloo Tikki and Dhahi Bhalla. The taste is very good and worth what we pay!
Khatta meetha.
Its in very much crowded place.
We didn't get place to seat in restaurant.
So we order only aloo tikki chat and eat it standing out side the restaurant.
the tikki was delicious.
Spicy, hot and awesome tasty.
Its a one stop for all hungry shoppers.
Always crowded but we somehow manage to get a table everytime we go there for shopping.
Firstly the golgappas are must try. We have tried tikki, burgers, raj kachori, pao bhaji.
Our all time fav is chilly garlic noodles 🍜.
A good place to get tasty chaats, typical Indian Chinese, dosas and of course- the unmissable yummy kulfi falooda. Delve into some gluttonous activities after you are tired of shopping/window-shopping/bargaining in Sarojini. Forget about your health-conscious dietary promises and make a pit-stop here before continuing your shopping spree. Needless to say, do not expect great ambiance and service.
We were here after 2-3 hours of shopping, very tired and hungry. We ordered dahi-bhalle, ragda-pattice, green chilly onion dosa and coconut utththapam also cold coffee. Everything was too yummy, and service was very quick. Place is quite small and crowded. But overall very nice joint when you want to have quick bites.
First time I tried this place ,but happy to say was not disappointed at all.
The food was quickly made n yummy
Thanks you Khatta Meetha for a fun filled evening...
super tired of shopping and need a break to fuel up?
this place is perfect for just that.
it serves yummy food for very low prices. you can tell them the amount of spice you like and they'd be happy to help you.
Sarojini nagar is one biggest shopping paradise of delhiites. But along with great shopping deals, you'll get amazing lip smacking street side food to satisfy your hunger pangs during long hours of shopping. Khatta Meetha is one favourite place of mine which I've been visiting since childhood. The gol gappa, tikki, pav bhaji are unbeatable. Must visit if you're in or around sarojini nagar.
I was exhausted after long shopping walk in the market. There are only few food places avallable in the market. This place kind of flashes out with its lighting and a huge crowd. Its very difficult to find a table in peak timings, you have to literally wait near the door and watch who's table is coming to an end. Finally got one table for me and my friend. It was lunch time and I've ordered special chinese combo which comes with veg noodles and wet manchurian, you can opt for dry one too its optional. Noodles are half cooked and tastes just ok. Coming to the manchuria the quantity is very less, you hardly get 3 pieces in a bowl. Don't expect the service if its crowded. If you are there for shopping and got tired of it this is the near by place to get fill your tummy.
Great food. The food that we ate was fresh and the place is hygenic. Really tasty food and a good place for quick bite and snacks. Did not see much of heavy lunch. But none the less a good place to eat out.
They serve the world best Aloo tikki and chaat. It's always crowded and is pretty famous for it's lip smacking chaats. Simple food joint and a hygienic one. It's located at the very famous shopping market in sarojini nagar (Delhi) i.e Sarojini market. Must try if you're around Sarojini.
In this day and age of tony dining, it is a tad difficult to spot a fuss free, simple eatery that's better than the roadside food hawker. But that's what the heart (or situation) wants on certain days. And then we start looking - this time at Sarojini Nagar Market.
The place is small but neat. We went in summer afternoonhowever they have very good air conditioning, so was very relaxing. The service was good and quick. We had South Indian food and some chaat. South Indian food was very good. The food as very reasonable.
It's a great place to eat hygienic chaat in Sarojini market . Everything here is good including golgapoe bun tikki, dahi Bhalla papdi and chole bhature . This place also has a seating inside to relax yourself in between the tiring shopping spree!
Khatta Meetha is a Veteran of Sarojini Nagar market - it has been there for almost more than a decade or even more since I have seen it since childhood. The favorites are Golgappe , Pav Bhaji and Bhalle Papdi - its all tastes really good and is awesome in all its flavors. Must visit place for all SN shoppers.
Surely one of the most crowded places in sarojini nagar. The fast food section having pani puri, chat etc. Is always full of people and the food is amazing. It also has regular veg food too. Tried the Pac bhai and was not particularly impressed. It was ok , but not up to expectations
Situated in Sarojini Nagar ,this is your typical Chaat shop .I make it a point to have their Gol gappe (pani puri) and dahi bhalla papdi every time I am in that area .They are one of the best I have had .
Affordable , hygienic and most of all refreshingly lip smacking !
They have limited sitting space too .I suggest you fill yourself with food here before going out shopping .The place is always busy. They offer a lot of other snacks and their paav bhaji and burgers, rasgullas are also quite good .
Awesome place for a food break amidst the crazy shopping spree in Sarojini Nagar. The food is tasty and the delivery is quick. Though I wish the place was a bit bigger and had more seats available.
This post is especially for all the shopaholic girls. To the girls for whom Sarojini Nagar Market is the eventual shopping destination , you all know how tedious it is to shop the whole day. After a whole shopping day everyone looks for a proper place where one can sit , relax as well as eat something good and get away with all the tiredness caused due to heavy shopping bags. ( though all of us love these bags 😚❤. Right girls?). Khatta Meetha restaurant in the INA market will solve all of your problems. The food is really tasty. .
What to order? .
Try ordering the noodles , paav bhaaji , pizza and also faluda. Nice place. Nice people. March ahead girls. Don't come hungry after shopping.
This is one of the nicest places in Sarojini Nagar to enjoy some snacks after a long tiring Shopping haul.
They serve a variety of snacks out of which Gol Gappe, Aaloo tikki, Pav Bhaji and Raj kachori are among our favourites. We have tried their Kulfi Faluda also but it was just average in taste.
The seating area is also decent but a bit small. Since it remains mostly crowed so you might have to wait for your turn to have a table. We are looking forward to trying some Chinese dishes on our next visit.
Ambience : This is in between Sarojni Nagar so u can expect lot of crowd and some waiting period
, also its ambience fits with its Price for food
Food: I still remember coming here during MBA days and eating Family Dosa, Pao bhaji, Paani Puri, Kulfi Faluda, u can try these fav. Cusine
Service is excellent

The most popular restaurant in the vicinity which has been residing from a long time and favourite for my quick bites whenever I visited sarojini nagar. More than 20years to this place and still they deliver finger licking food at such reasonable prices. They have a small seating area and it is mostly crowded so you might have to wait. Service is quick and efficient. They serve a variety of different cuisines, here are some delicious delicacies that are worth trying on your visit-
•Chole bhature
•Chilli garlic noodles
•Pav bhaji
•Faluda kulfi
•Tikki and gol gappe
•South Indian according to your taste.
The old world charm...reminiscent of growing up years in delhi...taste quality and quantity remain same.ordered.my regular my fav chowmein n pao bhaji..yum yum yum ! easy place for super experience..adding superb golgappas outside .guys n gals must try 😊

I never forget to visit this small joint whenever I visit Sarojini Market for shopping. Love the taste of Chhola Bhatura, Dahi Bhalla, Veg Manchurian, and Pav Bhaji served here. I've also tried its Cold Coffee; however, it was not that great.
Service is quick.
Staff members are courteous and attentive.
If you are going here, do not forget to try their Chole Bhatoore. They are delicious. This is my go-to place for a lunch in Sarojini Nagar. Morover they now offer cold coffees from Depaul's.
Yet another reason to visit this place.

Tried their golgappe and lassi....the lassi was outstanding, where as I've had better golgappe on the streets in other places!
Will definitely go back there to try their Pav bhaji, which I have heard is very famous!
'Khatta Meetha' is located in the heart of Sarojini Nagar market. This outlet always comes to mind after a long tiresome shopping spree. This place is always crowded specifically their chat section as you'll always find people waiting for their turns to dig into their famous 'Gol Gappas', 'Aloo Tikki'. We ordered Gol Gappas, Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji and also tried their Chinese as we ordered Chilli garlic Noodles. The food was delicious and the service was also quick and efficient. The place is a bit cramped up so you need to be lucky or wait for long period to get seated.
Just tried the golgappe and pav bhaji here. Both were really good. I'm definitely coming back to try more.
Must try
#Cheers

As the college is going to start we went to an market for buying some usual stuff and by having a look at all the shops and with bargaining we felt a need to have some food so we headed to this place which was suggested by my friend who is their regular customer from her childhood.
We first had golgappas and let me tell you the water is damn spicy but once you have it you'll not stop having it and in one plate you'll be full its just rs30 per plate.
Chilli garlic chowmein, that was also very tasty with lots of veggies and spice in it Rs170 for a plate and is worth every penny.
Honey chilli potato, very crispy, very tasty and topped with sesame seeds.
Kulfi faluda, the thing which was a big disappointment spent Rs80 on it and it was a total waste of money. No taste not even chilled.
Service was quite fast and good.
Ok experience for me chilli potato and chilli garlic are a must try.
It was one of our wish always and even today we try and visit this shop probably at our visit to sn market. The paav bhaaji here is amazing and our favourite too. We just stick to this particular item and others are okay but not of the paav bhaaji quality.
I am rating this place .5 more due to the childhood memories of past 20 years and 4.5 for its food ....this place gives you the value of the money you wl going to spend...
Golgappe are the best in all over market...
Please do try chole bhature, masala dosa, pav bhaji, dahi bhalla and kulfi....
And ofcourse golgappe wale se alag se ek baar pani aur ek papdi zarur lena.....
Note : Utna khao zitna bhuk lage...dnt waste food....some people are dying without it....
It has the best chats available around that place Coffee is awesome and chole Bhature to die for Do visit this place if ever you are at Sarojini Nagar tired of shopping Sit and eat your heart out
While there is no dearth of places to eat out chat in and around Sarojini Nagar, nothing compares to this place when it comes to having lip smacking chat. Another must try is the kulfi faluda. You just cannot miss it for anything.
The chana bhatora is a must have. Too good. Very different from any other I've ever tasted. The place is very famous for its sizzler and pav Bhaji as well. Its affordable and very well known.
Have seen this place many times and tried many items, the quality of food is great. Located in Sarojini Nagar market, this place serves strictly vegetarian South Indian food. (Vegans 👍)
They have some options for tikki, chaat, pao bhaji, etc.
We ordered some snacks (turned out be a main course however 😉), as a home delivery order. Food was fresh and as usual quality was good.
Chowmein, manchurian, sambhar, vada were all good.
You can check in here if you are a pure-vegetarian and looking out some southy stuff.
Coming here for ages now. I feel connected with this place. Their specialty chole bhature is definitely a must have but this time when I visited after long, thought of having south Indian. Simple, tasty and served hot. Quite a vintage place.
Yummy hot tikkis....refreshing dahi bhallas....lip smacking pav bhaaji....followed by kulfi falooda!!!
What else would one need after a tiring shopping spree!
Their dahi bhalla is too good.simply melts in the mouth. So is their kulfi which has ample dry fruits. Chole bhature and pani puri are good as well
I have been going to this restaurant since my school days and enjoy the pao bhaji. The taste is same like always. I prefer to and eat here rather than going to the costly restaurants in near mall. Value for money and tastes amazing. Typically indian street food.
Located in the midst of Sarojini Nagar market, this is a very nice, pocket friendly restaurant with decent food. Wont recommend you Chinese (theres an old yellow colored chinese outlet almost opposite to it and they're far better makers) but from here you can try snacks, north Indian and south Indian food.
great food :) noodles , i like the chole bhature ova here and everything is fine.. sometimes u have to wait in a q to get a seat .. sometimes its lil irritating people staring at you while you are having your food coz they are waiting to get a seat :D
Its a very old outlet in sarojini nagar to eat n still running successfully..... it is one of those places in the area which is olways occupied with the crowd coming to the market for shopping..... over the time the place has witnessed changes in interiors with a new look which is necessary to keep updating the place with changing time n needs of people n their interests..... the staff is very polite n co-operative..... the services r commendable n food is finger licking n pocket friendly..... they provide amazing food at a vry low cost which one can njoi while street shopping in sarojini nagar..... being a local to the area I often visit dis place with family or friends..... its a very neat n clean and very well maintained restaurant..... I find their chinese food really amazing..... I ordered chilly garlic noodles and chinese choupsey..... both the dishes were delicious.... very well cooked and the quantity they provide is ample enough to satisfy..... I think its great that you are getting soo much quantity at pocket friendly prices..... usually the prices are high and the quantity we get is barely nothing..... I also ordered kulfi as a dessert...... it was yummmm...... there are lots of dishes on the menu u can try anything n undoubtedly it wil b great..... the place is surely recommended.... after hectic shopping in the market njoi the different varieties of food may it be south indian, chinese, burgers, pizza, chaat papdi, golgappa n wat not just under one roof.....
There are many shops in market but it is the best place to eat after tiring from shopping.....food is delicious and there is a wide variety of food and snacks.....
Its a little hidden gem in Delhi. A life saving outlet for starving people after shopping in Sarojini nagar. Everything we ordered from Burger to Raj kachori to Chinese platter to Pao Bhaji was so mouth watering that we ended up eating more than needed.
I will definitely go to Khatta Meetha again to try out more delicacies.
The pani puri here was soo good. Loved it. The restaurant is inside Sarojini Nagar market. The guy served really good pani puris really quick. They have really good Pav Bhajis too.
Pani puri per plate of 5 puris each costs Rs. 30 only.
They have a restaurant too with seating.
Khatta meetha is just my favourite spot in sarojini. After a hectic shopping just relax here and try some delicious food over here. My favourite is pav bhaji and masala dosa. Its a family restaurant which normal price
Usually there's wait but the food is worth it... nice place to rest and enjoy delicious food between sarojini shopping...I ordered dahi bhalla, mix chaat and aaloo tikki
Aloo tiki chat... Khatta-Meetha is probably one of the best chat places in Delhi although it’s situated in the crowded Sarojini Nagar Shopping district it’s always packed with shoppers waiting to grab a quick bite ....
Good place for sitting in Sarojini Nagar market...But food costing is high here. Do not eat chhole bhature here.kulfi is fine
I seriously love the Alu tikki chat.. it is best tikki chat i had in my life.. 😂😂
Humm it's so nice located in Sarojini Nagar market but little bit expensive for middle class family
A good spot for fast food. A expensive place but services are too fast!
Number one place for pani poori (gol gappe), must try. Very small restaurant but very cozy atmosphere, great staff.
It's a great restaurant to give your hunger a better solution. While doing the shopping in between we all feel exhausted and desires a place to sit quietly and eat deliciously. Khatta Meetha is the exact spot to fill in this gap. Must try their Masala Dosa.
I have been going to this place since 1997. food still tastes awesome, 10 times better than Sagar Ratna close by. They still have the same service staff and owner since at least 1997. Whenever I am in Delhi I make sure to go to Sarojini Nagar market just so I can eat there. Seating could be an issue most times but food taste outweighs more than makes up for the small inconvenience
Good place to have something in Sarojni Nagar
Very good food and beautiful place.
Food price is very good.
Medium size shop
You can sit down here and food is served.
Well behaved
Food is not very spicy.
Different types of food of Indian cuisine available here.
