I have been to this place a couple of times and most of the times, while I don’t feel like cooking, The Golden Dragon would always be my preferred restaurant to order food from. This restaurant has a very good popularity in this area.
As a customer I have developed some expectations from this place and in maximum time, it delivers accordingly. Their service is quick, and the ambience is also great making the performance gap in the minimal level. The best fact is that, they provide quality meals and the price is also in range. The soups and chicken recipes are really great. The Golden Dragon is really great when it comes in meeting the expectations thus minimising the service gaps. The employees are also good, and they do behave with us properly.
But there are some drawbacks. The restaurant is not cleaned properly, and I saw lizards being roaming around. It really setbacks my satisfaction level as my expectations about hygiene are being compromised.
The interior is quite nice & colorful. Had their chicken momos which has good quantity, basil chicken which was good as a starter and honey chilli potatoes. Overall I liked the food and quantity but I feel the taste can be improvised. Service was very good and attentive with a smile.
Live the food. Mizutaki soup my favorite. Never disappointed. I do wish you would take delivery orders earlier. By the time I order and get it it's very late. Other than that great.

Everything is on point from welcoming host , courteous staff and sheek ambiance.Food is also glitch free ordered for Clear soup with meatballs ,Fried wontons & Mushroom with butter & white sauce and every it of it was as desired.
Golden Dragon is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the country. It has delicious authentic Chinese food and a wonderful menu to choose from. Highly recommended, absolutely delicious and one of the best restaurants ever.

I know the menu by heart and no matter which dish I decide to order it has been great! The staff has always been polite and helpful!! Nice and tasty, giving a try is worth ! Most important pocket friendly. I tried Veg Noodle and Chilly Paneer and Manchurian. All of the items were very tasty. Had a nice experience.
Good place to dine in with friends and family. Little pricey but its worth it for the consistency of food preparation and availability of drinks. Mostly Tuborg or KF ultra is only available among beers. Once though, their ac was not working, got sweaty and they had to shift us to ground floor. Overall, it's a good place. Their non-veg starters are very good, esp. kongee crispy lamb.
My father has been coming here for 43 years, and my brother and I have followed suit by visiting this establishment for 14 years. We can attest that the quality of their food hasn’t changed, and their service only improves with every visit. This is a family favorite and I don’t see that changing anytime soon!
My favourite place to have Chinese food when in Delhi. The interiors are nicely done, the staff is friendly, very peaceful ambience and the food is quite good.
Good food and friendly and prompt service. Ordered Monos and salt and pepper veggies. Both were tasty. The sauce they give with monos is super. Will definitely visit again and will recommend for others. Special words for Tezu - service with a smile.

Visited with my sister-in-law in evening. Ordered vegetable hakka noodles & soup. The best noodles I ever had. It melts in mouth. Each ingredient can be felt. Service can be improved.

so many childhood memories with this place. Went back recently for my dadi's birthday and there was not one dish that was bad. We had the Kung Pao fish, butter garlic mushrooms, sweet and sour and mixed vegetables almond sauce.

I ordered for the first time from this restaurant. I rarely prefer Chinese food, but I really liked the flavour of their Hakka noodles. The jaded rice was aromatic and light. I'm not sure whether the lamb dish was lamb or mutton, but the sauce in it was good to taste and not too spicy. Overall, The food was good to taste, and the portion sizes were large enough for two people to consume, however, I would like to visit the restaurant in the future for a dine-in experience.
Their chicken hakka noodles are very fine and the chilli chicken gravy was good... but chicken in red Thai curry is not at all up to the mark... does not taste so good. Overall I would give it a 3.5 out of 5.
Since the place is very near to my house me & my wife decided to try out the place few months back.they have two floors set up.One of the oldest Golden dragon branch in Delhi.Servers were also very very old employees of the company.Company must be taking care of them well.Lets talk about food here, We ordered veg spring rolls, Dimsums, Prawns in Starters.Everthing was perfect, For mains we ordered shredded chicken & Fried rice & Noodles for daughter.Prices were high comparing to other few brands but then it's Golden dragon.
I have been going here ever since I was a child. They have great soups, good noodles and very nice main dishes. I really enjoy their panfried noodles (my favourite), and they put no MSG if you ask them to.

Absolutely love their food! Food somehow tastes better than their outlets I've had in. I love, absolutely love their steam boat soup! It's my favorite, I could live on it! Now, the tum yum which we ordered had some amount of coconut milk in it which was a complete game changer. I've had tum yum so many times from so many places but they all taste the same and so lemon grassy but this one here was ama-zing! Food was on point spicy and couldn't taste any better! Finally!!! Found a place that serves decent food... their chicken drums of heaven is neither extra heavy on oil nor too loaded with artificial food colours. The lollypop were mildly seasoned with ginger garlic salt and pepper and was coated in a perfectly crispy batter... the batter had an amazing thickness, neither too thin nor too thick. Seems they use either the same batter for their gold fried prawns and drums of heaven or slightly different... but a big thumbs up for whatever they have been doing. Their American Choupsey was also delicious, perfect consistency of the sauce, just the right amount of the vegetables and meat combo and the noodles were amazingly light and crispy. Love their GD Special clear soup as well as mixed meat friend rice. Their shredded lamb crispy is also delicious, though i prefer the not so spicy food.Today I had ordered food, and I am so glad to acknowledge that staff of GD has gone that extra bit to ensure the food is made to my liking, paying attention to all my instructions about preparation and delivery, plus person taking order was patient enough to understand my overly complicated address, plus answer innumerable questions about an hyper-allergic customer. Many many thanks to GD for the amazing food and lovely service.Just one suggestion, could you please pack the fried egg of American Choupsey either separately or with the noodles. It gets lost in the soupy sauce and is later found in the form of a lumpy mass... ruining the aesthetics of the otherwise visually appealing and delectable dish.
Have been invited for family dinner here quite a few times.. like the wonton & manchow soup along with golden prawns & chicken appetizers. The main course however is pretty average ..just like in any Chindian restaurant.. does not stand out for me ! Ambience & service is fine !
Last week we visit the Golden Dragon restaurant located in C-2 main market Vasant Vihar which serves authentic asian cuisine.
Ambiance is nice and cozy with multiple types of sitting arrangements depending upon the type of guests and their requirements.
We started with beverages and ordered mojito and Pinacolada, i must say the bartender was very talented as both drinks are best in class.
In food we started with dimsums, which was presented nicely as small balls with open head containing broccoli over the top which recognize vegetarian. We had Noodles, fried rice served along with Assorted vegetables.
In desserts we had fruits with vanilla ice cream and Sunday both are nice.
Overall this place served authentic Chinese and Japanese cuisines. People who love these, then this is the place for you.

Entrance is Chinese n Japanese themes based, beautifully decoration everywhere, sitting arrangements superb lots of space and kitchen set up is good .
In Menu so many variety of different food and Drinks.

In drinks Virgin mojito, Pina colada and Fruit pinch, all are good and their methods of preparation was amazing, all were in different flavour which could easily identify on drinking.
Hot pot soup was a bit spicy but tastes really superb.
In food Springs rolls, Seasame toast, Dimsum, Prawn on toast Hong Kong chicken we ordered. All were delicious and tasty, Perfectly prepared everything cooked in Corn n olive oil and sauces of chilli, soya, mint, green chilli sauces were on great taste.
Overall food and service is good and serve fresh n hot food.
I recommend to all you will really like it who loves Chinese, seafood and Japanese food.

The Golden Dragon, quite a popular name among the inhabitants of Delhi for serving Chinese food over 40 years. My sudden visit to the Vasant Vihar outlet with a few of my friends actually turned up to be a good one. The comfortable seating arrangements along with the touch of Chinese decor heightened the overall ambiance of the place. As they have a special seating arrangement in the basement area, one can have fun in throwing a party there with a bunch of friends.
For the drinks section, we all agreed to go for the Virgin Mojito, Orange Blossom, and Virgin Pina Colada. I must mention a thing that the taste of the Virgin Mojito is quite different here compared to the other places. The beautiful flavor of lemon followed by the crushed sugar was truly amazing.
Coming to the starters, our gang consented in trying the Hot Pot Soup along with the Chilli Potato, Shredded Chicken Dry and Fish Finger Shanghai Style. The detectable flavor of the soup mesmerized me to a great extent. The crispiness of the Shredded chicken with the exact amount of spices in it made our day. The difference we realized after having the fish fingers made us order some more of the dish. Another mention worthy dish we had there is the Thai Papaya Salad. The sweet and sour flavor of this particular dish was absolutely heavenly.
Moving towards the main course, me and my friends decided to try their signature dishes, which consisted of Veg Chilly Garlic Fried Rice, Veg Pan Fried Noodles, Traditional Hong Kong Chicken, Four Treasure Vegetable in Sichuan Sauce and
Diced Chicken. The delightful flavor of the Pan Fried Noodles served with veggies and sauce was totally amazing. The tender and juicy pieces of Chicken in the Diced Chicken was also quite good. The Traditional Hong Kong chicken was equally good.
Our all-over experience in the outlet was quite grand and we are looking forward to step into this food joint soon again.

Nothing can beat the fascination of having a sumptuous Chinese meal with your dear ones. My experience of having a feast at The Golden Dragon with my pals was also quite good. The Chinese touch reflected in the decor of the outlet was truly mesmerizing. The huge seating arena of the food joint can easily accommodate 30-40 persons at a time.
This particular outlet of Vasant Vihar is nearly four decades old, offering a number of Chinese delicacies to fulfill the desires of the inhabitants of Delhi. Starting with the drinks, we ordered Virgin Mojito, Orange Blossom and Virgin Pina Colada. My personal favorite among the above mentioned beverages was the Orange Blossom due to its lip-smacking flavor.
For the starters we ordered Chilly Chicken Dry, Fish Finger Shanghai Style, King Prawns Salt & Pepper along with the Hot Seafood Soup and Thai Papaya Salad. The properly cooked prawns of the King Prawns Salt & Pepper were absolutely juicy and tender. The Chilly Chicken with a hint of black pepper tasted absolutely delicious.
After finishing the starter, we all decided to go for the main course, consisted of Veg Chilly Garlic Fried Rice, Veg Pan Fried Noodles, Prawns in Kung Pao Sauce and Four Treasure Vegetable in Sichuan Sauce. The flavor of burnt garlic could easily be felt after having a bite of the Veg Chilly Garlic Fried Rice. The shallow fried noodles were also a delight to the taste-buds. Another mention worthy dish of the main course was the Four Treasure Vegetable in Sichuan Sauce. The properly cooked vegetables of the above mentioned dish tasted marvelous.
However, we all had a great time at the outlet along with the wide range of delicacies offered by The Golden Dragon. I will definitely Try to find some free time to visit the place once again.

Who doesn't like a fulfilling Chinese meal, well I do and certainly most of us as well. I was near Vasant Vihar with friends when our craving for Chinese food took us to The Golden Dragon. Situated in C-Block Main Market, the place has a comforting ambiance and interior was tried to be given a Chinese touch. Seating area is large and can easily accommodate around 30-40 people at once.
We started with Hot Pot Soup first which had nice amount of shrimps, prawns and squids. It was hot and tasted amazing. In STARTERS we totally loved Chilly Chicken Dry and Shredded Chicken Dry. Chilly Chicken was an altogether different preparation but very tasty. Fish Finger Shanghai Style and King Prawns Salt & Pepper were great as well. Fish Fingers were lip-smacking and tasted unbelievable. Thai Papaya Salad was excellent in taste, the taste of raw papaya was so pleasing. Honey Chilly Potato and Chicken Dimsums were decent in taste with nice blend of flavours.
In MAINS we had Prawns in Kung Pao Sauce, Traditional Hong Kong Chicken and Four Treasure Vegetable in Sichuan Sauce in gravies whereas Chilly Garlic Fried Rice and Pan Fried Noodles as sides. Prawns were fantastic in taste, presence of nuts along with balanced content of sauces was too amazing. Hong Kong Chicken and Four Treasure Vegetables were also properly cooked, bringing out mouth-watering taste. Garlic Fried Rice and Pan Fried Noodles were too delectable and played the perfect companion.
It was a nice dining experience here. Food and drinks, everything was just WOW and deserve full appreciation. Service was very fast, staff was very attentive and well rehearsed with the menu and specialities. Definitely coming back to gorge on their other preparations.

One of the legendary places in Delhi for Chinese food. The Golden Dragon has been in the business for more than 40 years and till date it serves scrumptious Asian food and hand-picked beverages. I visited the restaurant recently and I must say I was impressed well-enough.
They have a separate Drinks menu comprising some of the most well known drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I ordered Virgin Mojito and Pirate Saviour. Both the drinks were appealing in taste and flavors. But I liked the Virgin Mojito more. It has a unique taste and is very different from others. The drink has a balanced flavors of lemon and crushed herbs. The other one, Pirate Saviour was pretty delicious too.
Normally I don't go for Soups, but I was recommended their Hot Seafood Soup by one of their staff. I was really happy when I tasted the Soup. It was so well-made, the flavors were pretty evident. The aroma, flavors and preparation, everything was top-notch. Must-have for winter season.
Along-with the Soup, Starters were served. I ordered for Chilli Chicken, Chilli Potato, Fish Fingers and Salt & Pepper Prawns. The Chilli Chicken and Fish Fingers were my favorite Staters among all. Both the dishes were so well-made, it had a marvelous taste and an impeccable flavors. The Chilli Chicken was subtle in spices and tasted really delicious. The Fish was absolutely fresh. I also enjoyed Chilli Potato and Prawns. I am not a seafood lover, but I enjoyed my Fish despite of the fact. I also tried the Thai Papaya Salad. The Papaya Salad isn't the crispy one I usually eat in other Asian places. It's an authentic preparation and the dressings is really delicious.
After tasting such wonderful Starters, I was tempted well-enough to order my Main Course. As I was pretty impressed with the Seafood and Chicken preparation, I ordered Prawns in Kung Pao Sauce, Diced Chicken, Veg Chilly Garlic Fried Rice and Veg Noodles. Without a doubt, the mains were equally delicious. The Chicken was cooked in the traditional way with Soya, Ginger and Garlic with few other Herbs and Spices. The Chicken pieces were tender and juicy. It was the Prawns in Kung Pao Sauce that I cherished most. It was one of the best dishes I ate here. The Prawns were cooked exceptionally well-with the Cashew Nuts and Spices. The flavors were really fantastic and the Prawns were soft and juicy. It tasted amazingly delicious with Noodles. The Fried Rice and Noodles were too flavorful. The Rice had that burnt garlic flavor with a subtle hint of Chilli. Great taste. It went equally well with the Prawns and Chicken. Noodles too were flavourful.
At last I can say that you must visit the place for some traditional Asian food with authentic flavors. The place is worth the visit.

A Chinese restaurant cum bar, Golden Dragon has always been my favourite but somehow the quantity & quality of the food has been reduced from the past.
The food served & service is pretty good. So we ordered King Prawns 🍤 salt & pepper, it was a pretty decent dish. Vegetable Balls in ginger garlic sauce was the perfect Chinese main course with authentic gravy. Fried sliced chicken in lemon sauce. Crispy honey shrimps. Chicken Chopsuey, Shredded Lamb in hot garlic sauce. The chopsuey looked really appetising & is one of my favourites!!
The outside seating area is really pleasing & enjoyable. Easy to locate, just next to outer ring road in August Kranti Marg.
A favourite of mine for the last atleast 15 years... wow that's a longtime!!! Love their food - especially the mixed meat fried rice with whatever gravy item is on the mood palate that day...
It was a quick decision to order dinner from Golden dragon Vasant Vihar , after going through their endless menu we decided to opt for drums of heaven , chicken hot and sour soup, and jade fried rice (chicken) , delivery was quick and the food came in their new take away packings which were more better than before. Soup was OK! Though drums of heaven were just smelling a different kind of oil .. and fried rice was the same.. altogether im not satisfied with the quality , being a quite famous chain such discrepancies are not expected

Although this place seems to have been built around a spacious area, it still does not give you a very good look or an elegant ambience but what it does deliver, is a fine and likeable food quality. Located in the Vasant Vihar Main Market, The Golden Dragon can certainly be a good option to go ahead with for a spicy Chinese or Sea food grub.
Went here on the recommendation of a friend and tried out the following items-
Hot and Sour Soup (Non-Veg)- Served hot and fresh. Tasted fine.
Chilly Chicken Dry- The chicken shreds were a bit chewy but the taste was good.
Chicken Manchurian Style- Very spicy and nice in taste.
That was all that I could try at The Golden Dragon on my first visit and my overall experience remained a satisfactory one.
Further enrichments would certainly be beneficial for them though.

Golden Dragon has to be one of the most famous Chinese and Thai restuarants in Delhi for a long time. Their soothing ambience and background music reminds you of the subtlety of the Oriental culture. The staff is very well informed and ever so polite. I have tried their dishes before and my review is posted on Zomato, which was more than a year back. I recently placed a take away order and here are my views on them :Veg Hakka noodles : The best in the town! The noodles and the jullienes of carrots, onions and bell peppers are super thin. The oil used is in perfect quantity making it neither too oily nor too dry. You will want to have more of it again and again.Green Chicken Thai Curry : This one is spicy, creamy and a bit tangy. The fresh vegetables – aubergine, bell peppers, broccoli and carrots are blanched well and the gravy of coconut and cream, with the added flavours of curry leaves, garlic and ginger is wonderful.Chicken Dimsums : They make their dimsums from rice powder. So expect your dimsums to be translucent and shimmering white. The skin has to be fluffy and thick here but the minced chicken filling was devoid of any taste. Could get better.Veg Fried Rice : Average and not worth trying. The rice is so dry that it is difficult to eat even with a heavy gravy. Improvement needed.

The Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant was fantastic! The place felt cozy and the service was really good. I loved their Szechuan chicken; it was full of flavor! The hot and sour soup was a great way to start. The staff was super nice and made our meal even better. If you love Chinese food, I totally recommend this spot

We reached the restaurant at 11.40 am, a bit early. The restaurant opens at 12 noon. However they did not ask us to go away. Instead they opened the door, took the order and order was served after 12 pm. We enjoyed sitting in the restaurant in the meantime and watched the staff cleaning the hall. We ordered only spring roll and clear vegetable soup for a branch. It was authentic Chinese cuisine and very tasty. We liked the food and made a plan for visiting sometime again for dinner. An enjoyable experience indeed.
Great food ... great ambience.. delightful service... super courteous staff. I'm an old Customer from past 20 + years. Food quality and taste is still the same. Love the chicken dumplings, array of soups .. personal fav is lemon Corriander and tom yum
Veg options - crispy veg salt pepper is delicious and enjoyable by kids and everyone in the family.
Drums of heaven are good too.

Great service staff and ambience
It's iconic for a reason. Top food and fantastic portion size and prices. The hotel and washrooms are kept spic and span. The service is also very good. A total family weekend place.
Food is quite delicious with optimum spices.Service is excellent . Only location is little issue. Parking space is not available and new persons will find little difficult to locate.
We went here to celebrate my mom's bday. At the first look it looks pricey but the quality and quantity here is just terrific. Service is little came and composed. The owner/manager serves dishes themselves sometimes.
There are 2 seating areas.. outside(when you have good weather), inside (for AC).
I had chilll paneer dry and it was lip smacking and sweet n corn soup.
In main course I had Veg Manchurian gravy and jade fried rice. Perfect combination. 👌

The restaurant is small but cozy. They serve veg and non veg and drinks too. We ordered laksa soup and manchow soup which was amazing. They added prawns and squids in laksa. Crispy prawns and fish fingers was delicious. Lamb Manchurian and chilly garlic noodles were good too. Overall the experience was very nice. Can visit with friends and family.
We were there for lunch on Thursday. Being a weekday it was not busy. It's a nice place, the ambience is good. Outdoor seating, canopies and the placement of sufficient plants makes it worthwhile sitting outside. We ordered lettuce wraps with mushroom and tofu, and spicy fried rice with mix veg in red curry. The portions were enough for 2 people. Taste, quality and hygiene was in order. Staff was courteous and helpful. Worth a visit.
Toilets are clean. Since we took the metro and it is at the corner of main road so am unsure about parking space.
Mix veg pan fried noodles is a must try here. Other items were also good. Only negative is that the waiters will keep reminding you that they don't charge service fee and hence ask for tip. Which I find is a little odd.
