Been to this place lot of times and not each time its been a great eating experience. Their food is very good.
One things to improve would be to amount of time spend in making the food, each time i visit them its always take more time then other places. May be that's what make their food batter then other places :-) , but would be awesome if time can be reduced.
If you not been here, do visit next time you are around sector 29 Gurgaon.
Quite a decent option for Mughlai/North Indian cuisine in the area. The pricing is very well affordable considering the other restaurants in the area. The service can be improved though.
Been here for a office lunch, the service is good and food is not extra ordinary but decent enough.
Ambience resemble there concept, music add same flavour so as there Stewards dressing style.
Food I like much:- mutton rarah
Raita is also good.
Other items taste commonly.
Good for family dining and formal lunch or dinner.
The atmosphere at Park Balluchi is still one of the best I have experienced for a North Indian restaurant in the Area. This restaurant interior has a warm and traditional atmosphere. The staff is also welcoming, and the service is friendly and quick.
From appetisers to different type of curries, biryanis and sides.. I must say that I was truly impressed with homely taste..
Park Baluchi....very nice place.
I had visited this place once week back.
I will be recommend to my friends, collage group,
Nice place gr8, ambience excellent service.
I will be try their stuff & menu....!!!!
I hv been such wonderful experience....!!!!!
It's a good restaurants can be visited by a family . Food is tasty but sometimes it makes you I'll . When you sit here if feels like you are sitting in a design Punjabi Village.
On this fine tuesday afternoon, i went with my colleagues to Park Baluchi. It is a proper north indian restaurant with "pind" vibe to it. We ordered kurkurr mushrooms and dahi k kabab in the starters and dal makhni, kadhai paneer and matar mushroom in the main course. The portions were fine and i guess one dal makhni would be sufficient for 3 to 4 people.
The service was a bit slack and the ambiance was decent but little shady. The starters were good, but i wish the maincourse was a little better as there was nothing too amazing about it.
Nice place to Hangout, good food and relaxed atmosphere what else you want. There mocktails are also up to mark and food what to say it's just finger licking. Good quantity of food and best service. Truly genuine staff and food.
Park Balluchi is a upmarket version of Pind Baluchhi located in the same complex. The entry is a bit on the back side and on first floor so sometimes may be missed.it is a nice place and you can have a nice dinner with good music and a soothing atmosphere.I think they can make good their interiors and ambience. The place is quite silent and if you do not want lot of hustle bustle it is a good choice. With an open kitchen where you can see the chefs preparing your food the food does not fall behind on expectations.the tandoori rotis and pudina parantha are very nice and crispy. The Dal Baluchhi and Paneer Butter Masala was lightly spiced and just perfect taste. The quantity is also very nice and we as a group of 5 could eat well.Served with green chutney and onions and lemon the dinner was worth its price.I would try again and recommend everyone to go once.
Quality of food is very good even the hospitality of the staff is very good. But the only problem is the quantity. I ordered half butter chicken and i got only 2 pieces of chicken. Instead of 4 which is generally followed rule of half/Full in Delhi.
Went there with a family. Nice ambience. We ordered Dal balluchi, Dal tadka, Paneer makhanwala, Chicken rogan ghost. 5/5 for food. 3.5/5 for service. Overall very good experience
Mughlai tastes great, Though the service is a bit sloppy. Expected a better service.
Ambience -3.5/5
Service -2.5/5
Taste -4/5
Value for money -3.5/5
They offer outstanding punjabi food. The ambiance is punjabi. Traditional style. Environment is perfect for anybody. Would love to visit the place again.
Being a branch or a part of the Project at Park Balluchi in Hauz Khas Village carries with it some expectations as to the quality of food you can expect. And it delivers, mostly.
LOCATION AND APPROACH (3.5/5)
The Park Balluchi, Gurgaon is located in Sector 29, Gurgaon. By virtue of it being located in one of the most frequented and crowded food/pub destinations in Gurgaon, gives the Park Balluchi some advantages over others: Ample parking and easy approachability from almost anywhere. A huge parking lot is located between all restaurants here, and the Sector itself is near Iffco Chowk Metro Station, making it easy to access.
AMBIENCE (3.5/5)
As you approach the restaurant you have to walk under a canopy modeled after a forest/leafy road, and climb up a set of stairs.
Upon entering you're greeted with old music, comprising of ghazals or old 'imperial' songs. On hearing this you would start to expect a restaurant modeled after an old dhaba or emulating the interiors at an old palace, but this does none of that. Or maybe it just does both. The bar in the middle of the place is interesting to look at. Seems to give off a faux wood look. There are copper 'lotas' hanging off the ceiling, tens of them. Nice touch, but if they're real and if they fall, the restaurant may be in a tight spot.
The walls also have tapestries, which really are eye catching.
Their menu is printed on one side, while the other has images of old Mughal rulers and the likes. You do ending spending another 10 minutes on the menu just admiring the imagery.
FOOD (3/5)
The food, overall, was good. Ish. Dal Makhni was nice, not too spicy, mixed veggies were okay. The Paneer Makhni was not good at all. The gravy seemed to be the issue, with not much to it except colour. Paneer also seemed a bit on the hard side. Naans were as good as any other. Fresh Lime Sodas were good.
SERVICE (3.5/5)
Since for most of the time we were the only guests, the service wasn't lacking. Nor was it exceptional. It just was, and is.
DISTINCTIVE TO THIS PLACE
Nothing seemed to be unique.
CONCLUSION (3.5/5)
The food is okay, the Ambience is good. Service is fine. Good for an office brunch.
Good restaurant with vey nice food. The food was very spicy. It is a very nice place to eat food.I prefer them to add more things in the menus.
We visited this place for a drink and some starters because Pind Balluchi opens for dinner only. Service was good, ambience is decent, food was good. We ordered dahi ke kebab, daal makhani and roti. Worth another visit.
Service has gone down over the years. Somehow the staff doesnt seem as courteous or willing as they used to be earlier.
However, their Murg Malai Tikka always perks me up and ensures that I keep coming back to the place.
As with such joints, their starters are far better than their main course but if you have to, try their Meat Saagwala with the bread of your choice.
Been to Park Balluchi number of times, but am never disappointed. Food preparations are awesome. Aloo Dilnaaz (starter) are to die for. I am also a big fan of gosht rogan josh served here, and always order it whenever I eat at this place.
The restaurant is situated on the first floor, and there are no lifts. So it becomes difficult for aged people and those having knee problem, to reach this place. The rustic ambiance is perfet for traditional Indian fare served here.
Visited this place last night . Liked the food but was slightly unhappy with the services . The staff , despite being cordial , served food in a very hyper manner . It seemed as if someone forced them to finish serving food quickly . The kebabs and other vegetarian good we had ordered were good . Small suggestion : please add more garlic to ur garlic naan. Where we could smell the garlic but there wasn't much flavour of it while eating . Thanks
Amidst sector 29 array of outlets... awesome food... starters are well prepared and are a delicacy... the restaurant has various ambience options to choose from making every visit a different experience... the cocktail and mocktail options are an disappointment... recommend for food onlu
The Ambience of the place is not very inviting nor is the decor. That maybe be a biased opinion considering we are used to such nicer places these days.
Now comes the main part food. Strangely and gladly the food is just that simple nicely cooked Indian food that we all love. The taste is simple and well done food. No complications or recipes.
The pricing is also average. So the only downside of the place is it has not grown with time. The food still tastes good but the area around is something that should be worked on.
I have been to this place so many times but never get a chance to review them, Yes it’s a good place for dine in, but they could improve on their service.
Food is very delicious of this place, must try – adraki murg tikka and dahi ke kabab (there specialty)
Music is not up to the mark so need an improvement on this point as well.
Overall it was a good experience.
This is one place where i have been going since i was a child. The service can be a little better, but the food is delicious.
i personally find this particular outlet to be the best because of the way it is designed..it gives one an experience of sitting at a roadside eatery (dhaba) with the ceiling designed in such a way that it gives you an impression of sitting under the night sky. If you plan to go for dinner then reservation is recommended otherwise you'll have to wait for atleast half an hour.
The menu is quite simple with nothing out of the ordinary but the food is great so every other shortcoming of the outlet wont bother you.
the stewards need to be trained properly because they simply don't know what they are doing :| rest everything is good.
the service is the only main drawback.
The food is averagely priced.
Pind balluchi on ground floor and park balluchi on 1 st floor. The differnce is less crowdy and higher prices. One must try dilnaaz kurkure.. food quality is good and one must try once. One must try kulfi adjacent to pind balluchi on ground floor
Ordered from this place earlier. Went there for lunch today. Ordered malai tikka m shami kabab, malai tikka was just ok but shami kabab were good. For main course ordered dal makhani n murg rarha as suggested by the staff. Dal makhani was average but murg rarha was very yummy.
All in all the food was good, ambiance was ok, service was a little late and the staff was nice.
Good food, too much decor detail. Kebabs were succulent while tikkas were soft and fresh. Same experience since a decade. Time to improvise? ?
Went for an official lunch meeting at this place.
It was a good experience. Food was good, specially starters.
Must order Cindrella if you are ordering mocktail.
Over all liked it, will visit again.
Pretty good Indian food. Odd decoration inside... feels a bit like you're at a dark beach resort? There's a huge glass window where you can watch the chefs making kebabs and the like. My Pina Colada was a little different than I'm used to, but overall I'd come back.
Explored this place today afternoon when went to Sector 29 for official lunch. Though had been to Pind Balluchi many times yet never noticed this place.
Somewhat simpler and cheaper version of Pind Balluchi with awesome food and service.
During lunch on beer the offer was 1+1 so few enjoyed that while remaining ones relished the refreshing Lime water .
Ordered vegetarian food and started with Dahi kebab so yum and very different. Crispy outside and moist inside and not so spicy. Served with green mint chutney & onion julienne.
Main course was
Dal balluchi,
Kadahi paneer,
mix veg raita
Since assorted bread basket not available ordered varieties of bread. Like plain roti, butter roti, stuff kulcha, laccha parantha, missi roti & naan baluchi. Stuff kulcha must try.
Food very good, quantity more than sufficient and the evergreen bollywood songs from 80s make atomsphere more pleasant.
Enjoyed our visit and will keep coming to this place..
We went to this place for a team lunch on Friday afternoon and could easily find a place to sit.
Food was nice, especially non-veg. Service was a little relaxed but was going well with the music they were playing :)
Overall, a nice to have an extended lazy lunch. Enjoy !
a place we visit frequently, since years.
it has great ambiance and a live kitchen which is inviting.
the service and staff is praiseworthy. they serve real good.
the wide options in the north indian menu is commendable.
the dal makhani here, is too good. the creamy texture makes it more tempting.
all the paneer preparations are worth giving a shot. lababdar and kadhai being my favorites.
the tandoori aloo when served, its presentation takes your heart away. the smoky touch, the flavours, colours and textures are great!
the breads here are also a mixture of fluffiness- and crispness. served hot and well cooked.
its a place offering you almost all delicacies with perfection.
The first thing that will hit you is the ambience.... Simple yet nice especially the view of the live kitchen. Slightly on the higher side on prices but not too much!
Try the naan-e-Baluchistan and the murg ki potli - different to what you will find elsewhere in a Punjabi restaurant. This is basically a Punjabi restaurant so you will get all the usual butter chicken types...
Quite good Ambiance with great food. Best in class North Indian and Mughlai food. The Dahi Kababs are to die for which has made me a big fan of this place. The staff is cooperative and service is decent. Looking forward to visit again to try out some delicacies.
Co-incidently this place is my ex-bosses favorite place to throw party for his office staff and it became mine too after I visited it once and subsequently many times. I tasted Aloo dilnaaz kurkura and fell in love with it. Paneer Hare Matar ka Tikka was also the next best thing of Park Balluchi. Paneer Butter Masala with roti happens to be quite filling and I am happy with the yuumy filling food. I order my favorite Zafrani Rasmalai on my regular visits.
The restaurant serves alcohol too and one can have it at ease.
The ambiance is okay. Not much impressive, Value for money it is.
We had an amazing gastronomic experience at Park Baluchi,
Leisure Valley , Gurgaon. I reached there about 4 Pm on Ashtami day (2 Oct)
with about 14 family members, was not sure if they would serve lunch. We
greeted us very warm specially my aged mother in law who has problem in walking
, they made us vey comfortable specially kids and my 4 month old daughter. They
served an elaborate spread with Paneer, Fish , Chicken , Mutton , dal assorted
breads & Pulao. Every food item was a foodies delight, this being a dry day
we were served with fresh lime and coke. Service was so prompt , dedicated
attention provided by the Restaurant Captain and Sr Restaurant manager. The day
was very special as we had my daughter’s annaprashan followed by lunch, it had
to be great .
Park Baluchi made it extra ordinary. My well-travelled parents
, in laws everybody was gaga with the service and food. At the end they offered
me a fine discount too.
I have been here many a times in last few years and one thing which attracts me here is "Raan with Tumali Roti". It's an awesome treat and satisfying.
The food was just awesome with excellent portion sizes. Everything from non-vegetarian starters to dal balluchi, desserts.. everything was just fantastic with real good value for money. A must visit restaurant if you are in Gurgaon and an Indian Food lover...!!
Love d food and best zafrani jhinga and murg ki potli. It's served in a sword awesome taste.
I was a little skeptical about this place when I read reviews about this place. Clearly, one has to see with his own eyes to judge truth from tale.
My friend decided to treat us here on Thursday as it didn't attract much of a crowd apart from weekdays. We found a place easily. The place was playing Bollywood Instrumentals which set the mood for the evening
The captain and the waiters gave us ample time to socialise and decide what we were going to have.
We ordered the Banarsi Seekh Kabab & the Karara Dahi Kabab as starter which were quite delicious. The Karara Dahi Kabab is a ball of paneer and dahi fried in batter and covered with papad pieces. The Banarsi Seekh Kabab was a paneer preparation which was rolled into a Seekh form and had good consistency and did not break out into pieces as is with veg seekh kababs.
As we finished the starter we ordered a simple main course of Paneer Lababdar and Daal Maakhni along with an assortment of bread ranging from roomali roti to garlic naan. The lababdar was tasty and spicy and the Maah ki daal adding to the flavour wherever possible. Portions were huge.
Servers were polite and quick.
Definitely a nice experience we would like to have once more.
Dahi Kabab at Park Balluchi are awesome...unique of its type..Prior to that I always thought that Moet's serves the best Dahi Kabab...but I was wrong..delicious..
Nice food, we tried Mughlai, decent service, the a/c was a tad ineffective, otherwise somber place to have dinner with families.
Good food . Good service . Been going there since the last 7 years so thats say it all. This restraunt has maintained its reputation by never letting the quality of the flavor down . You just cant complaint about anything you order . Thr kebabs were excellently cooked and the tikkas tasted just how they were supposed to . Service was good . The stewards helped you to explore the menu and the result of it can be summed up by the word delicious.
A nice family restraunt been tested on many waters . You can go there again and again.
I have been visiting this place since it ever opened and its always a delight to go there and eat their delicious food. The tandoori chicken, raan, tangdi kebabs are a must of you ever visit them. Though they have some very good dishes, their butter chicken and dal makhani aren't something that you'll relish. The ambience of this place is decent and nothing to brag about. The service is also decent enough. This place is a must if you stay in gurgaon or visiting it. It definitely is worth a try.
If you are looking for a place to have a quite dinner and Indian cuisine then this is the place to go to ,
Have been this place quite a number of times . Service is really good .
Been visiting this place since 2007 and I have to say, the standards have declined a bit in the last few months. It is a place meant for Butter Chicken- Butter Naan lovers. Other foodies might not be overly impressed.
Positives: Butter Chicken with Butter Naan/Pudina Parantha, Non Alcoholic Drinks, the amazing Kulfi just outside the restaurant (though outside the restaurant, it adds to the Punjabi-yat of the restaurant)
Negatives: Average Ambience...the place is not at all uplifting for the soul. Except the butter chicken, nothing really unique about the place...food is okay-ish otherwise.
Like the food so much :) Esp.. Dahi Kabab
There is no place in Gurgaon which has pleased many and pleased long with its food, service and value for money offering than Park. I call it the cheap Bhukhara and love Chicken Rarha, Dal, Gobhi Mussalam, Rogan Josh etc among several other starters. Over the years the taste has not changed and while I love the place for what it offers, decor can certainly go for some change.
I got a chance to check Park Balluchi's food out in one of the parties I attended at Vatika Grand, the Banquet Hall. It was a vegetarian buffet, so while I got to taste an exhaustive array of their vegetarian dishes, my review, doesn't touch the non-vegetarian offering of the restaurant. (or, for that matter, the ambiance).
Park Balluchi is located in the very prime lane, a stone throw away from the great-Sec-29-fine-dining-circle. It's one of the few reasonably priced fine diner offering Indian cuisines around, and it enjoys its share of following, judging by the crowd it usually attracts.
The food at Park Balluchi is perfectly Punjabi, smeared in guilt inducing butter rich preparation from the very start. The starters were pretty average, starting with Hara Mutter ka Tikka (which are always too dry for my taste), spring rolls and paneer tikka (which were not very spicy and had a distinct butter flavor). The Karara Dahi Kababs were pretty awesome though, crispy from outside and soft and filled with delectably prepared dipping from inside.
The main course started with Russian salad which tasted a little funny to me. The Gobi Mussalum tasted fine, so did the Paneer Lababdar which was specifically quite good. The Mushroom-do-pyaza was rich in taste and cooked well. We relished this one a lot.
The Jamun-e-gul for the desserts was somehow more appetizing than the regular Gulabjamuns. The rasmalai were soft and tasted near perfect.
Overall, Park Balluchi offered a very decent food, with the exceptions of mediocre starters. The main course is perfectly Punjabi with rich condiments, fat and taste. Given the value of money bit associated with the place, I would give it another try someday, to enjoy the good Indian food it offers.
Good veg food in banquet and good service too. overall good ambience too
The food and ambiance was worth spending time and money. The service was also good. I would prefer to visit it again.
I haven't visited this restaurant casually.. but We got our office's annual party organized by them.. They are awesome.. We have got so much appreciation from every employee for this party.. They have done a commendable job.. My first ever experience with them is awesome.
They are masters in organizing parties. Looking forward for more business with them :).. Good work!!! :) Appreciable by everyone out there in party..
.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Great place to dine and superb service. it is a must for every foodie.
dahi kebab and Raan are must try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Murg potli was great n butter chicken was good too....
Shambavi Katoch (What Sam Says About)
+4
Raan is simply a must have, despite the fact that they may tell you it will take 20-25 minutes, do not listen to them, close your eyes and order. Any non-vegetarian human being will drool the minute this non veg soft juicy meat delights ur tongue. You would want to go to the kitchen and kiss the creator of this wonder. Butter chicken or murgh Makhni is expensive and yes I can honestly tell you I have had better. But do visit once only for the fact that this place offers you a bouquet of non veg kebabs to choose from with a ddecent ambience and service, only when you do not want to bother about the cost.
I love the place, it has unique kababs, potli kabab is very good, even the veg kababs are very good, the chicken biryani/pulao was very good too, but it is not an economical place, but the ambience with musicians playing during dinner, makes the dinner worthwhile, one exper i faced during one of my initial visits was that they refused to pack the leftover food, they said it was not in their practice, however when we expressed our displeasure, and said even 5 stars pack food, why did they not do it, they agreed, since then, they have started packing left over food, becz i had had to pack food one more time much later and they readily agreed.
I HAVE BEEN PATRONIZING THIS PLACE EVER SINCE IT OPENED IN 2003, Had always relished the potli kabab and haryali choosa, curries are just ok, nothing great. May be repetition forces me to write this after my recent experience. Its high time they change their menu or have some new additions.
Park balluchi excels because it keeps things simple and stay true to it's offerings north Indian and mughlai cuisine.
Food here is always lip smacking, oozing with flavors and heavily indulging thanks to generous portions of ghee and spices used in it. your taste buds will love it though your stomach might not; but once in a while when you decides to go all out to satisfy your craving for some real desi north indian food park balluchi will never disappoint.Their are lots of gems hidden in the menu options especially khade masale ki macchi and paneer malai tikka are total knockout. Price is pretty decent and you also get pretty cheap liquor during happy hours.
to conclude if you are looking for some rustic indulging hardcore north indian food look no further.
GREAT PLACE SUPERB AMBIANCE AND FOOD & SERVICE. ALOO DILNAZ AND PRAWN ARE SUPERB
The service is very good and the food is delicious and superb.
A nice place for dinner with family. Specious , consistent tasty food.Good Service. Bit difficulty for parking on road at weekends. Good family restaurant, Specious , consistent tasty food..
In general quick service, 10/15 min waiting on weekends
Bit difficulty for parking on road on crowdie weekends.
My favorite sizzling Brownie - Ice-cream wth Cake & hot chocolate.
Food is above average. Nothing much excited. Ambiance is mediocre. Service is Good. Its Pure veg restaurant. Location is easily accessible. Rates are average, 600-800 for two.
Went here for my little brother's birthday party. The food was amazing as it should be and the staff was well trained and polite.
Ambiance is great.
Full heritage looks.
Great for Instagram.
Food is overpriced.🙃
Very nice restaurant, good ambiance, good food, overall liked it
We are organized a party for 1 year child. It was his first birthday..
and this place is very well to ocuppy space and celebrate for 30 - 35 people.
The food is good and also service is best. We played games here and they help him to organize those games.
I liked the food. The name is in Punjabi so I tried the authentic north Indian food. And the taste is up to the mark. The lassi was yummy.
Staffs were very polite. Time taken was not too much or not too less. It was average. Ambience can a bit be improved though. It seems little low lit.
If it is Authentic Punjabi or north Indian food what you are looking for then definitely try this restaurant.
This is very easy to locate and located in a very convenient place. You will get plenty of parking spot available during the day time not sure about evening though as the market is full of snack eating places. Still the parking area is big.
Definitely do give it a try.
Good place and good food...
Tomato shorba was very tasty...
mashroom kurkure and corn kebabs were tasty....
Fantastic party experience here. They have a seperate party hall for 50-70 people and have a good arrangements of decoration and also the food is delicious. We as a host had a good experience hosting a party at Pind Balluchi, sec 29
Staff is amazing and has a good service. Proper big free parking, What else you need?
The best and the True resturant to visit with your family.. The food quality, appearance, Taste was really up to the top. The most important thing the atmosphere was so divine that I don't have words to say. I have been being here since I was 14 years old with family.. from then to today's date... I still love to visit the restaurant..
As per the foods,I really appreciate the chicken items including the kebabs. The best part of chicken dishes, they were really tender. So chicken starter anything a must try. I will give a 5 out of 5 for the chicken item.
But chicken biriyani really disappointed me. I would like to request the concerned authority to take a note of this.
The service was really good. Stuffs were really friendly and the their service really commendable.
Atmosphere is also good. Its just the handwashing section and washroom, you have to go upstairs.
Overall, a thumbs up for Pind Baluchi.Looking forward for the next visit.
Thanks for the awesome food Pind Baluchi. Please maintain the consistency.
