Serving the best jalebi.
Jalebi was too crispy and juicy and so delicious. There are many variety of sweets and snacks available.
As this restaurant is near to my working place , I use to visit there or sometimes they deliver at my office. They serve good quality of food and have extensive menu. Staff is courteous and helpful. Taste is up to the mark. Hygiene was taken care. According to me it’s an economical place to enjoy North Indian and South Indian food, they serve sweets too.
This outlet has an amazing chat recipies I personally love to order gol gappa from this restaurant. This outlet will satisfy your golgappa craving in this lock down . They deliver food always on time. Had a good experience with this outlet
This place is amazing with varieties of food, They have amazing varieties of thalli and their chole bhatura is amazing, The bhature is so soft.
Very nice variety + really hygienic food.
Very decent taste. Really like thr menu and food items. Also they’ve good variety in sweets..
I have visited here for the last couple of years. The best part is that most of the recipes follow a strict sop for their preparation. Which means the taste is mostly the same every time you eat here! The Chole Bhaturey, Amritsari Kulcha is extremely piquant and their quality is top class. Don't miss them at any cost!
Hygiene is a bit of a worry but I guess the kitchen is quite clean too though I haven't seen it from inside. The lassi is another item which is a must have aNd so are some of the snacks or sweets!
Breakfast:
Chole Bhature, poori Chole and Amritsari Kulcha are the best dishes I like in this restaurant for weekend breakfast. Chole with poori and bhature are of different taste and both are equally good. Peeled mango pickle is a must with the breakfast menu. A basic espresso coffee at the end makes it a complete breakfast.
Though it serves lunch and dinner, but it’s more famous for breakfasts.
Ambience:
The staff is old and courteous. Seating is basic. Be prepared for waiting on weekend mornings.
Location:
In the market At the corner of Raja Garden red light crossing. Walking distance from Rajouri Garden metro station.
the best place in West Delhi, for Bread Pakora’s , Samosa , Poori Chane..
The Pindi Chana, here is super yummy
Must Must Try !!
It’s a must must visit place...
A place where quality is prior to taste. I have been visiting this place from many years and this place has never disappointed me. The spices are just in the right amount. The flavour and texture are good as well.
My go to Samosa and Sweets place in West Delhi. The fact that this place is never empty speaks for itself. They keep making loyal customers every time one enters from nearby areas.
A must try chole bhatura and palak Chana rice. U can even try paneer pakora . South Indian menu is okay kinds. Sweet lassi and rasmalai are a must try.
Good food.. Quick Service.. Its not a fine dine in, u get a Dhaba kind of feeling which is good as the food is good.. Staff needs to improve customer interaction
Not a very popular place in delhi but this place offers one of the best poori aloo for breakfast Once a week must for me and my family which is mostly on Saturday mornings.
They also offer fresh Desi ghee sweets which are little expensive but commensurates with taste and quality. Best items on offer are gulab jamun, ghewar malai, mathri, namkpaare, varieties of barfi, dhokla e.t.c. Must visit for Sunday morning outgoees...
So I bought this mithai box that is mixed sweets box from Standard snacks and Restaurant Rajouri Garden at Raja Garden I must say each line of mithai was freshly prepared and yummy in taste kaju ki barfi is a must try
The best amritsari kulcha and chole served in the whole of Delhi. The chole are the closest I've ever tasted to authentic amritsari chole!!!
The bhaturas we had were as soft as clouds , the best breakfast experience in the whole of Delhi!!!
I live in Gurgaon but I love going to this place even though it's totally out of my way.... Took my friends there last Sunday and they were not disappointed.
Long live standard !!!!
Standard snacks just near to my home. In morning we visited for breakfast. Interior was so old. Service is good. But the food taste was awesome. We order #Amritsari kulcha, #Paneer kulcha, #Sweet lassi, Chole bathure. Taste was too good for all the dishes.
A well-known name in sweets and specially for pateesa and besan barfi but there snacks aren't too Bad either. The poori chole aren't for the faint hearted as desi ghee can b felt in each bite. Very quick service so overall a fair experience.
Go to standard sweets and order besan ki burfee and thank me later. It's one of the best burfee you'll ever eat in your life. I have been eating this since 15 years and taste hasn't changed a bit
It's a decent place for breakfast clean and quick service I had chole bhature they were basic nothing spl. Bt on the other side nothing wrong with them also you can have better in rajouri itself but give it a try may b u like it
I also had kulcha they were good I would say better then chole bhature though raita was good they do charge 20/- for another round of it but it was gd and for a nice quite affordable breakfast spot it's a good place
Approx: 250 for 2
Give it a try u may found some good dishes here too other than kulcha also
The best Aloo Subzi and Pindi Channa I've ever had in my life. It's amazing. Friendly staff. Hidden Gem. Although it has been here since generations. The quality is still upto the mark. I never miss it whenever I'm in Rajouri. Sweets are great too.
My go to place for Poori Chole. All preparations are made in desi ghee and the poori Chole are simply mind blowing.
They also serve great Amritsari kulcha and Chola Bhature, their samosas are very nice too.
The ambience is quite comfortable and neat and clean, the service is very efficient and friendly.
The place is high on hygiene.
It's my fav place for Poori Chole
Standard snacks is an old sweetshop serving Street food, snacks and food ofcourse. Very casual. Only vegetarian. Nothing fancy. Tried samosas , golgappe and pav bhaji. Rates are pocket friendly. Taste is good. Can be tried if no other option nearby.
Standard snack in raja garden is a old sweetshop which serves snacks ,street food and few indian dishes with breads. They deal only in veg ambience is simple it looks like a college canteen more then a restaurant. I had here gol gappe. Pav bhaji and samosa with choley. The taste is finger licking good. Samosa chola is best here. Pav bhaji is too butterly delicious. Bhaji well mashed and buns too soft. Overall experience was very good
Good Food. Masala dosa was very good... even the nariyal chutney and tamatar chutney was tasty.. I didn't like the sambhar though.. It was not bad.. but not very good also...
Visited this place with family after enjoying a decent film in a nearby theater. We just wanted to add to our good film experience and I am glad it didn't disappoint.
It's a basic, plain and clean restaurant. Nothing fancy.
Eight of us were seated pretty quickly and order was also taken quickly. During the service they got little confused with few items but in the end all items were served in a decent time.
We ordered for Aloo Puri, Chhole Bhature, Dahi Papdi, Amritsari Kulche, Sweet Lassi, Salty Lassi and few other items. The taste of all items was good but I personally liked Amritsari Kulche.
The cost is also decent, we paid around Rs 1000 for all items.
In a nutshell, you can surely visit this place with family and friends for a quick breakfast, brunch or evening snacks.
If you love simple non spicy food in nest and clean environment then this is the right place to have your weekend breakfast.T typical halwai shop but with added cleanliness and prompt service. Aalu puri and chana bhaturas are really good though on the bland side . Samosas are good too. I am told that they make home delivery too. So next time when you are in no mood to have home made breakfast, just make s call.
Bhawna Kohli (Orange Margarita)
+4.5
One of the oldest and bestest joint to gobble some chole bathure on a lazy Sunday morning! I personally prefer its bathure more than puri,, the chickpea curry served with bathure is absolutely amazing!! I had cold coffee with ice cream to beat the scorching heat outside.
The bathure were not oily at all and were soft from the inside and had a crispy outer.
This place is a must try for everyone.
Standard sweets..
An old shop for sweets and other food items located near raja garden chowk...
This place offers good variety of sweets as well as indian snacks like channa bhatura, samosas, pakoras etc..
The food is good in taste as well as the pricing is pocket friendly..
One of my favourite place for sunday morning breakfast cravings..
Had Lassi which was too good❤️ Had Poori Chane with onion. Even had Amritsari Kulcha. The Rasmalai. The food is too good over here. Did the sunday morning breakfast and it was yummy. Had a good sleep after the food😍
A good joint for sweets and. Snacks . All sweets made genuinely in Desi Ghee and taste well. Pandering and Gajar ka Halwa are just too good .
Its a nice place to have puri chole and bhature chole . The green chutney with them is really awesome. There is good seating place . Would recommend highly
Knw this place from child hood times my Bhua get rasmalaai every time when she came to our house on any occasions coz I love rasmalaai but many times I had my breakfast here but today afternoon I go for chole bature n rose shake both r nice n same old tastes still maintained
Great food served well. Simple place. Been going there for over 5 years now. Their specialties include Chhole Bhature, Amritsari Kulcha, Chaats and Samosas. Recommend you try it once. Its really an under dog when it comes to flavor and quality of food. Very reasonable.
Known for famous chola bhatura.
South Indian is also pretty decent. We usually order masala dosa along with rasmalai.
Maintained their quality and reputation both in sweets and snacks shop which are adjacent to each other.
Must say quality matches the price they ask for. :)
O boy O. Did somebody shout ~ that street food is the best food when served with caution and hygiene . And that's where Delhi has it all hands down.
Had heard great review of standard sweets amritsri kulcha and pori sabji went with friend to explore and man I am so thrilled & overwhelmed. And this comes from a person who avoids all these oily ventures to keep a tap on his bulging beer belly.
Amritsari kulcha served here has a super thin crust and are paper light. The chana served with these were fabulous and had good mix of haldi if I am not mistaken. Terrific.
Then we tried pori chole. The chole were nothing out of the box however they were up there with the best. The pori was super crisp and loaded with oil 😆.
To sum up:If u want to indulge in pure delight on a cheat day head here and head early as we could only get last kulcha available there.
Cheers!!!!!
This place has been my all time favourite. The food served over here is pure and delicious. I go to this place every Sunday to have Amritsari Kulcha which I think is their speciality.
A very humble-looking eatery. I didn't expect the food to be so spectacular. The taste was superb. The prices were slightly higher but you won't regret paying as the food will satisfy you fully.
We ordered chana bhatura, stuffed paranthas, sweet lassi, rasmalai, rasgulla and gulab jamun. We were a group of 8. It's a nice place for family breakfasts.
The chana bhatura was the best i have ever had. The taste was amazing. Quality was also maintained.
Sweet lassi was also good. Paranthas were tasty as well. The rasmalai and gulab jamuns were nice but dont go for rasgulla.
Everything we ordered was very tasty and fresh.....Chana bhatura, kulchas, lassi, ras malai and rasgullas...oil was also less....Kulchas were the best.
the sweets sold by the older adjoining shop are far better than anything else in the neighbourhood....they are clean and fresh....they are so fresh that they just melt in your mouth...the besar barfi is the best that i have ever had...they do amazing bottle gourd and coconut barfi as well....all the sweets sold at this shop score very high on the quality of ingredients used...the snacks shop lack a little as compared to the parent shop...the puri cholay are nice but the chana bhatura are a bit heavy ...paneer pakora is good... dahi bhalla and the raj kachori are however passable...the lassi was nice and thick...the sweets are however amazing like gulab jamun and moong dal halwa as expected because of the amazing sweets sold by the adjoining shop..
Sweet and Simple is the word to describe this place!
Amritsari kulcha cholle bathure is good
So are the pakodas
Kulfis are also nice
Though this place is more famous for its sweet! But a visit once in 1or2 months is fine!!
Quality 4.5/5
Ambience 3.5/5
Taste 4/5
Sweet dish 4.5/5
Value for money 4/5
Ps : majority stuff is over by 9:30
But people come in their pajyamas to have kulfis in night :p
Only puri chhole is good. Rest all is average. Recently they have introduced chur chur Naan which are just ordinary.
The sweets on the other hand are quite good. You can visit this place for Sunday morning breakfast for awesome poori chhole and Lassi.Samosa and South Indian food is just ordinary, sambhar is just pathetic. This place is located at Raja Garden chowk.
food is good .......waiting and meeting are nt allowed in the premises , mind it :P
a decent option for breakfast, it's poori chole and lassie is simply outstanding, even their south indian food is superb.....both thumbsup.....
Tried chole puri lassi and coffee...
the order was served in a jiffy..
decent ambiance ... Good for breakfast and quick snacks ....
Good Place.
