A place that is simple yet quite amazing. A live example of value for money. The service is amazing and the ambience is brilliant. For those who think Andhra Bhawan is best, I would recommend them AMA Thakali. It is any time better. Of course there is a con and it is the limited sitting space. You would have to sit on a raised platform as there are no table and chairs. It is a true and live example of Nepalese tradition.
Brilliant food and aesthetics on point. Truly a hidden gem in Majnu Ka tila <3
Very good food are served and the hospitality Is quite good & if you go there I highly recommend wai-wai sadeko

It's an awesome experience to have a very tasty food in a beautifuly decorated Restaurant with a finest interior of encient Nepalese culture.
Awesome place ,amazing food ,lovely people .... Even the songs they played In the restaurant is beautiful
Awesome place for nepali cuisine food is too delicious
Wonderful place and ambience <3 delicious typical Nepali thakali food.
Nepali thali is perfect but spinach should be wash completely nicely, everything is excellent even the service is good .one thing to tell put wifi soon in the restaurant
It was very tasty..i just loved the food the way i wanted.
I discovered this restaurant while finding some other restaurant. But this place didn't disappoint. They serve authentic nepali food which was really good. Ordered Chicken thali, which they refill unlimited times. The momos were very juicy and Thukpa was good as well. The portion size is adequate and matches the price.
Dami food and dhami sawad
My roommate suggested me this place. And him being a hardcore non vegetarian suggesting this place really meant something. I wasn’t disappointed at all.
Really great place with good Nepali or Himalayan ambiance. Good menu both for veg and non veg peoples service was quite well too. I specially liked their Sukuti(type of rosted chicken peaces) and Thali (unlimited refill expect the main dish). Would love to revisit soon !!
I am a frequent visitor to Aruna Nagar because of the food and recently I had read good things about this place. So Ama Thakali it was.
Started with Chicken Momos and Chicken Sakewa. The Momos are nice but can be a bit more softer and juicier. Chicken Sakewa though has become my favourite. It was mind blowing. Perfectly grilled chicken with a very good portion. Had a Mutton Rice Thali in the mains and what Mutton Curry it was. One of the best ever, we ordered another portion of just the curry. For the first time, it was better than home cooked mutton. It comes with Dal, Boiled Palak and a Soya Sabji which were all good.
That along with Chicken Sakewa can keep me going there back, again and again.
P.S. - They need to manage their staff better. We saw a live fist fight right in front of us between two servers over their leaves.
I would recommend this to all my nepali friends out there. Also, to those who enjoy spicy food.
The food was amazing. Quantity was also perfect.
We ordered jhol momos, chow chow, and veg chowmein.
All were good but very spicy.
Food - 4.5/5
Quality- 4/5
Hygiene- 4/5
Ambience- 4/5
Service -4/5
Cost -4.5/5
Overall - 4/5 (must try place)
Our love for luphing takes us to Majnu ka tilla quite oftenly.❤
So, once we thought of exploring this place and having more Tibetan delicacies! So we scrolled the @majnukatila feed and saw this one.😬
.
We tried Wai Wai Sadeko, which is crispy wai wai noodles with veggies (onion, tomato, coriander etc) and some chatpati spices and lemon.🤤
.
We liked this dish and the Ambiance of the place, it gave the cultural feel❤
I just fell in love with the ambience the moment I walked in.
Love the jhol momo a lot... Took my friends to try Nepali food for the first and also loved the food and also the politeness of the staff.
The staff is so welcoming and they fed us as we were at home.
Though the place was a little tough to find out but it was worth very hard work that I did.
A place which is quite difficult to find but it's a must visit for all. The place is so good and one of the best chicken thali I had. The food was tasty and fresh and the prices weren't too high as well. friendly staffs as well.
Tibetan Restaurant with the essence of Tibetan atmosphere.
Staffs are well cooperation, They served me noodles with chopsticks.
I'm trying hard to eat with those since I'm Indian not knowing how to do it properly doing as they show in anime shows.
So the waiter saw me struggling with those wooden chopsticks and helps me giving the tutorial on how to use the chopsticks by handling my hand.
Another staff came there with a couple of forks to help me. But I learned to use the chopsticks.
The live Tibetan music and the videos of their cultures make mental peace. You know the best part is the hints of spices are pure Tibetan.
Your urge to have real Tibetan food can be fulfilled here.
Such a wonderful place ❤️ to hangout with your friends and family. You all should have a try to this place.
This place can be a bit difficult to locate
It's beneath the ama restaurant on the northern end of the colony. They are primarily known for their thalis but I've felt that the portions of meat in their thalis are rather less.
So tried their meaty treats.. Excellent grilled chicken and gravy momos. The gravy of the momos went well with the flat rice they served with the grilled chicken. I thought the momos were a bit too small and the stuffing size can be increased.
great place to have nepali food
The momos are amazing , reminds me of Darjeeling’s momo.😍🤤🤤🤤
Was lucky to have an amazing mutton thali and chicken thakali here. Amazing flavours, fresh and great portions. You can also ask for a refill of the veg items of the thakali. Please do try if you want to taste Nepalese food
This cafe is authentic not just for the food it serves but also the ambience that it has !
The waiters are dressed in their cultural outfit and are courteous enough .
We went on a Saturday noon due to which it was easy to find a spot to sit . I have attached the pictures of this place . Their sitting arena is quite cool . They had outdoor sitting as well .
For the food , we ordered Nepalese chicken and mutton thali with rice and roti .
The gravy chicken momos tasted very well . It was something new to my tastebuds.
The fruit beer was just like how you would expect it to be .
Sitting here takes you back to the hills of nepal. The oozing music of how great one's tradition, culture and food is. Ama Tha kali won't suprise you extraordinarily but it's simple home cooked nepali food is going to bring you teary eyes only if you are a pickle or a veggies fan. They have one of the finest waiters or else i prefer calling them dajus(brother). If you want your food to be simple and your staple diet is rice then hit out to Ama ThaKali and order yourself their dhero unlimited thalis right now. Period.
Best Nepali restaurant. The food was very tasty, Best chicken dish ever. And a nice place to dine with your friends and family. Must visit..
The food was awesome, same was the service man who treated us well. Every item on the plate was authentic and tasty. If you want to catch some authentic Nepalese food this place is perfect. Only the person on the cash counter was haughty and ultra-rude, who wasn't trained enough to accept appraisal of their restaurant. But the waiters were superb.
What a lovely and calm Nepali restaurant to visit.
It is situated at corner of North Indian's colony in Majnu ka Tila.
I love the market road during the way to restaurant.
This restaurant has limited no. Of options.
We tried 3 different types of thali and aalu chat and fruit beer.
Aalu chat (4.5/5) - So simple, not less not more spices, perfectly tendered aalu.
Thali (3.7/5) - See this is personal taste option. It's not our cuisine but if you dismantle the thalis some wonderful delicious items are present say palak fresh saag ausum.
Pickled raddish super duper.
That hot red chatni - FAN of this
Potato wedges, bhindi aalu, were some lip smaking items. Quality of fod is very rich
Thw fruit beer drink was something never tried but impressive.
All the nepali cousine lover this place is for you. It has a pretty good ambience and also have picturque spots. All the nepali friends out there feeling homesick? Try their thali, it has a variety of items, from veg to nonveg. Their staff is also good and sweet.
No wonder this place has such a high rating. Best part of Ama thakali, I felt at home. You can sit on floor, relax and have a scrumptious meal. We ordered
Veg noodles - Tastes really good and the chutney they have with it was finger licking good.
Chicken Rice Thali - Oh god! What a meal. It had three pieces of chicken, daal, rice, two types of nepali pickle, fried aaloo, saag and aaloo beans. All the nutritions in one place. Moreover, except chicken, every item was unlimited.
It was a great experience. Staff was humble. Service was good. This place had amazing food, cozy seating and it was so cheap. Loveddddd it.
The comforting rusticity of this place combined with brilliantly cooked comfort food renders one's investment in it, a very worthy one. The Nepalese thalis (the chicken curry is an absolute triumph) and the succulent chicken momos are most definitely recommended!
Ama Thakali literally serves the most authentic and delicious Nepali cuisine in Delhi. There's so much to love about this place and any Nepali walking in here will go out with happiness exuberating from him/her.
this is one of the best restaurants in Delhi... I just the food, ambiance and everything helping staff's is soo humble.
everyone should definitely come to this place once
Home away from home should be the catch phrase of this restaurant..
Yummy chicken thakali with apple beer
Reasonable price
Reminds us of our home
Ama thakali is a good nepali restaurant delivering good quality of nepali food. I likes the sitting arrangement and village look they have provided, the food is good and rates are pocket friendly.
Good napelese food and good quality of service and staff serves you with hospitality overall good experience. Must try specially for nepali food only.
So i went here with a friend it is sort of a hidden place but famous in Majnu ka tila
They have some variety of food with pocket friendly price range if you are ordering snacks
The service was nice the food was good
The interior is unique and quiet pretty
We had their veg wai wai sadeko
And it was pretty good it has that tang to it with little bit of spice to it
I liked it because it was a medium spice sadeko
It's a nice place to try if you are in tibetan market
Freshly served mixed thukpa , which consists of two momos ,mixed vegetables, and paneer !
Veg choupsey is extremely crunchy and the Manchurian soup of cabbage add extremely delicious taste .
And i suggest you should definitely try their apple bear ,it taste like a heaven !
Ama thakali has the best ambience to have good food. Worth the money. The chicken they provide is tasty enough. Had a good experience. I have visited there thrice.
Hello friends !! Today, i am sharing my experience of a restaurant which is one of a kind, especially when you are a Nepalese or if you want to try some Nepalese food then this place is perfect for you. I was really in love with the place since the first moment i entered the restaurant. After going in you can find out Nepali style seating arrangements and whole wooden artifacts and table.
I also loved the cosy atmosphere and brilliant ambience. The place is very relaxing if you sitting on the terrace, and if you want to enjoy some Nepalese music you can sit inside the restaurant under the dim lights.
When we talk about the food, it was really tasty and mouth-watering. If you want to try some classic Nepalese food you have to definitely try here. Some of the food items which i want to recommend are :-
STARTERS:-
• Chicken Wai-Wai
• Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian Thukpa
• Chicken Steamed Momos
• Joal Momos
Main Course:-
• Vegetarian Thali
• Non-vegetarian Thali
• Chicken Tsoila

This is literally my favorite place ever. The food is just "chumeshwari". The ambience is great and automatically makes you feel comfortable as if at home.
Located close to the main road and a lil ahead of AMA cafe. Basic limited menu items but good options. Ordered Their Chicken momos, which were authentic momos, priced at ₹150 for 8 pieces, so it was pretty worth it. Amazing Ambience, floor traditional seating area on mattresses. Loved the vibe.
Ama Thakali is one place in Majnu Ka Tila where you can sit with all your comfort, just like home. This down sitting dining option is so cool & comfy at the same time. First you have to remove your shoes then cross your legs and sit easily. They also have outdoor seating option of Chair & Table as well. Talking about food, their Noodles, Veg Thukpa & Momos are really nice. Also tried their Fruit Beer and it was quite refreshing.
I love their Aloo Sadeko, they're bit spicy but great. I recently tried their Veg Thakali Thali and it got so many options which got me confused what to have first. Loved the experience, will surely visit again!
Yesterday I went there with my friends for dinner This is one if the best place for Nepali cuisine you get Nepal food there at very reasonable price.
We ordered wai wai in gravy and dry Myst try if u ho there.
There thanks us also famous so we ordered 😁 thank with fruit beer and noodles but u have to find this place in narrow Lane..
I think great place for non vegetarian people because they have a special flavours in food..
Ama thakali is really good place for those who wanna try nepali food. They serves veg and non veg dishes both. These time i tried veg momos, veg chowmin and thapuka as snacks.
In maincourse i tried veg thali includes steam rice, dal, tomato paneer, kerala, fried potato, blanched spinach and radish as side dish. i love whole platter but I love the taste of dal and rice. Sotasty and light just like homemade.
In dessert you can try kheer. Which i personally not like because of thin texture.
Whole ambience and service was excellent. Staff were so humble and prompt in service. Love this place.
Hey, wanna try something new 😆
If yes then try out this nepalese restaurant at majnu ka tila
AMA THAKALI
It has all kinds of flavor under one roof spicy, sweet, you name it
About food loved the quality and quantity.i tried
➡️ Aloo sadeko (spicy extremely yummy )

Ambience is amazing 5/5

Tell me you try something at Ama Thakali
One of the most pocket friendly restaurant. The ambiance of Ama Thakali is quite peaceful and you can also enjoy Nepali songs here. It also has an outdoor seating available.
Must try Wai Wai Sadeko, Thali and Joal Momo(Momo served with soup).
Overall Experience: 8/10
They serve the best Chinese in comparison to other outlets in the area. Manchurian was too good to be true and their service was also very nice...🤗
If you're missing Tibetan/Nepali cuisine, this is the place to go to! Small, homely feeling, Nepali songs and some great variety - absolutely love it here whenever I come. Sadeko with their spicy chilly chutney is just amazing! Very low on cost as well :)
This is an amazing , pocket friendly restaurant to try Nepalese cuisine, though a little hard to locate this hidden gem.
I loved the cosy, warm ambience . They were playing Nepalese songs which was very soothing.
Do try their chicken thukpa.
I highly recommended this place.
What a place orders fruit beer and sekua and there egg curry thali loved the place comfortable and very warm staff, the food presentation was very nice and food it's self was tasty would definitely recommend this place
A place with a warm home like feeling however they only play Nepalese songs.. The ambience is pleasant with great lighting... The place is lil difficult to find coz its hidden somewhere in small gali's... We ordered vegetable thali, wai wai soupy noodles and phappar roti... The food was just like home so do the seating u can sit comfortably... However saag was prepared in a new style.... The roti is of a new taste and every one should try it... Wai wai noodles were okay... But all n all the food and ambience made the place valuable and hidden gem... Must visit if u r there and want food like home.....
Their chicken and mutton thali is really delicious and filling. The plate presentation is also very simple but pretty. One of the best thing of this restaurant is that, they are generous on extra servings. Rather, they come and ask if we would want any items. Also their spicy potato but that wasn’t really good. Some of the bigger pieces were not cooked well.
Recently visited this outlet, located in the left most side of Majnu Ka Tila.
I tried few dishes namely Wai-Wai salad; which was pretty crunchy and yummy, vegetable Chowmein was something which I liked the most specially with Fruit Beer.
Lastly, I had a vegetarian Thali which was so light on stomach but was segregatly display of various vegetables and 2 main dishes.

Yesterday went for the dinner at this place. This one of the best place for having Nepali cusine in Majnu Ka Tilla. We ordered wai wai( gravy and dry both) i must say both versions of wai wai are must try. After that we had there noodles, fruit beer 🍻 and the famous Thaali.
At last you have to find this place in the narrow lane of Majnu ka Tilla.
This place is superb.. Staff were so friendly and good. Best service. Ghar jasi feeling Aa rahi thi sahi me! What a ambience and idea of sitting on gaddis and removing your shoes.. It was such a relaxing atmosphere. So neat and clean place full of positive vibes! Mind relaxing place it is! Must visit here and try their special wai wai sadeko yet it was too spicy but it was so delicious n specially for wai wai lovers ye Ni khaya to kya khaya!!
A beautiful place with traditional indian style seating, authentic nepali cuisine thali restaurant, we went for dinner and ordered chicken thali with rice, mutton thali with rice, chicken chowmein and chicken momos, chicken and mutton thali is unlimited but only the portion and rice, not chicken or mutton dish or the gravy, but its more than enough for one person, food serving was little delayed as they prepare the main portion according to your taste so be patient, chowmein was typical nepali style and momos as well, its a must try with their nepali shezwan style sauce.
Food 5*
Ambience 5*
Staff 5*
Location, its bit inside on the first floor, keep following the sign board or ask pedestrians while you enjoy a look around their cultural shops.
Ama Thakali is a restaurant in Majnu Ka Tila is owned by the same guys who run Ama Cafe.Ama Thakali serves authentic Nepali food and it doesnt burn your pocket at all.The food served here is very different from what you eat, both in terms of taste and options. The rotis, rice, subzis and starters all are completely different from Indian cuisine but its worth trying once.
I had their Veg Thali,Wai Wai Noodles,Kheer and a starter which was made of mashed potatoes (cant recall its name).Wai Wai Noodles was the best item I had here. Also, the Thali is a good option if youre feeling hungry since its quite heavy and and has a lot of items included in it.
Its something very different but its also something which you should experience once.
Visited this place for some momos and the nepali Thali's.
I was completely satisfied by their food. The momos were amazing and full of flavour.
Also the nepali Thali's were authentic and flavours were good. I had the chicken nepali thali and the chicken curry was the best, full of flavour and taste.
The service was good and perfect.
I would recommend all to try out their momos and the nepali Thali's.

I literally loved the aura of the restaurant and I loved the taste of the food. Even though they have a limited menu but whatever they serve is literally as delicious as it looks in the photos. I have been there plenty of times and the taste always remains amazing and super nice. Now talking about the prices, this place is very pocket friendly and they serve literally a lot of food which tastes so so so amazing. Also, if you're fond of eating Wai Wai noodles, you should definitely visit here because they have the best art of making wai wai noodles. Do give it a try. I give a big thumbs up to this restaurant in every possible way. Evening timmings recommended. :)
Went this place some days back, it is located in last of the market. Actually, its a hidden gem. Thakali is tribe in Nepal, and this is the only place who serve Nepal masala. They bring masala all from Nepal, and even you can find some different taste in food.
Their ambience is too good especially outside sitting. And inside sitting is traditional. You have to take off your shoes, sandals as sitting is on foam. You can see in photos. I loved the sitting.
I went with some of my friends. We were 7. And we ordered quite a lot. We had-
Wai wai chaat, which was too good! Must try.
Veg. Thukpa- they serve yummy thukpa. The soup in thukpa is too yumm.
Chicken momos- was too good. One of friend doesn’t like momos, but he ate half of the plate.😅
Aloo chaat- that was also good. Quite chatpati & spicy. Loved it.
They serve only chicken momos, not veg momos. Which is disapponting.
In mains
We had- Chicken Thali, Mutton Thali, Egg Thali, Paneer Thali. All are too good. These are unlimited thalis. In thali, beside what you are ordering, they serve dal, chawal, beans, gobhi, roti and much more.
Best part is it is cheap, pocket friendly. Must must try. Its a hidden gem.
Want to taste the pure and Authentic Nepalese food? If yes, then this place is perfect for you. I recently visited this place with my friends to try their special Nepali Thali, which is available in various varieties.
I tried.
Chicken Momos
Jual momos
Chicken Thali
Fruit beer
Though some of the foods in the menu were unavailable .
Still I would rate 5* for your great food..
Homely atmosphere...🤗
keep it up .I'm gonna visit you again
Good was just like nepali thakali we have in Nepal. But I was little bit disappointed about serving the food. Thakali khana is served essentially with local ghee but I didn’t find there n when I asked for that staff there told me it is not served. I was surprised they told me ghee is served in phafar thakali khana set only. How could be logical?? How can a thakali be served without ghee ?? N i was expecting gundruk ko aachar as well which is must for thakali khana. Management please note on that. Thank you
Ama Thakali is a nepali restaurant serving more then just nepali food but their culture.
Last weekend me n my friend got to know about this nepali food restaurant in Majnu ka Tila and decided to try out something new. And we found some delightful serves there.
We had..
● Chicken Thukpa.
● Chicken Momos.
With some new and improved tastes.
They have a dim lighted, low sounded peaceful atmosphere of there own. I loved there sitting arrangements and ambience.
Highly recommended.
It is situated in the Tibetian lane and I went there as per the past reviews on Zomato. I must say I was not disappointed.
I only have good things to say about this place, cost effective, tasty food and great ambiance.
Food 4/5
Ambiance 5/5
Price 5/5
Service 4/5
A place that is simple yet quite amazing. It is value for money. The service is amazing and the ambiance is brilliant.
Total atmosphere of the restaurant was very good and the best part was the Nepali tracks which they played. You would have to sit on a raised platform as there are no table and chairs. It is a true and live example of Nepalese tradition.
I ordered unlimited veg rice thali - served with paneer curry, three types of vegetables, dal, papad, salad, and dessert along with an assortment of three authentic Nepali pickles. I like the food but I don’t like their pickle and the green vegetable. All other food items are good. For dessert we got Kheer and it was delicious.
I would highly recommend AMA Thakali for Nepalese food. It is any time better. The food was good. Simple and homely thali. Authentic Nepali cuisine or taste.
Truly a hidden gem in Majnu Ka Tila
Probably one of the most underrated places at the foodie heaven that is Majnu ka Tila. You enter expecting a run-of-the-mill café, but are greeted by this tastefully decorated, homely, cozy place. The setting is a fresh break from the usual restaurant ambience. So it makes for a great place to relax over a laid-back dinner with friends.
Ambience= 5/5
Very polite servers that are more than happy to help you with your order.
Service=5/5
The food packs some flavourful punches and even the most modest side dishes are spiced to perfection, making every morsel a delight. However, some flavours may be too intense/unfamiliar/unlikable to the untrained palate, but don't be afraid to experiment.
Food= 4.5/5
The food is very decently priced and the quantity does give you value for money.
Recommendations: Chicken rice thali.
The place serves Nepal's indian cuisine, very different place to be visit. You will see the different sitting patterns and food which belongs to a Nepal's culture.
All the thali serve great amount of food and they are good in taste, chicken and egg thali what i ordered and i suggest you to go with chicken thali. (4 out of 5)
The service is too late but this place has its own charm.
It's a family restaurant pocket friendly and very homely taste
1. For starters we ordered zhol Momo's(gravy Momo's) and fried Momo's both in chicken it was juicy and yummy.
2. Then we had fried chicken very moist and flavourful chicken.
3. Then at last we ordered chicken thali set with rice you can have it with roti too
Overall amazing experience
Well am speechless! We always talk about the friendliness, the hospitality of nepal, it's the people who made it a habit of pamperings for the rest of the world. IT'S A MUST VISIT EATERY. Look for subhash! He will instantly make you feel home. He will greet you with a mellow smirk, take you along to the designated place, somewhere inside the house where u will be asked to sit on the elevated floor. The food is served on a bell metal plate and bowls. The speciality is their thaali (egg, vegetable, chicken and mutton) which comes in with three types of vegetables, daal, papad, salad and three authentic nepali pickles.
The warmth of the place instantly makes your lazy afternoons or evenings filled with utmost pleasure. The belly gets tastefully satisfied.
CHEERS GUYS! KEEP RUNNING THE SPECTACLE!
Fabulous thalis, authentic taste. Not to mention, very light on the pocket. The decor is simple, yet elegant. Outside, there's ample place for parking cars. What's not to like, eh!?
Well if you're going to majnu ka tila u should try this nepali resturant called Ama Thakali Nepali Restaurant.
Well it's difficult to explain the direction pls google once u will reac but pls make sure u will type the complete name as there are 3 cafe's by name of Ama.
Well about the dishes.... CHICKEN SADEO - Fried chicken with nepali sauces, onion , tomato and coriander.... Well this is mouthwatering and so affordable . They serve chicken / mutton thali with rice/roti they have unlimited rice or roti whatever u choose served with chicken or mutton again optional...... Three types of vegetable like fried potato, lady finger with potato and saag, Dal , Papad , salad (unlimited ) and Desert..... What an amazing staff and service. The food is prepared fresh and the taste takes you through the lanes of childhood days. The items are so tasty and mouth watering. I would recommend it to those who like to have buffet lunches.
Went there some days back with my family . Nice small and cozy restaurant with comfortable sitting . Ordered chicken momos which was just oki , ordered thukpa and thenduk both are yummy . Worth visit will visit soon .
Amazing place to have Thali especially the Nepali cuisine.
Also loved the Chicken sekwa and fruit beer.
Friendly and nice staff.
Good ambience.
There is no particular dish that i would tell you to try out here. Although the buff chilly and the momos are amazing.
Do try the pan fried noodles. If i were to continue suggesting dishes, this review wouldn't be enough.
The food is great and so is the service. This is another gem located at majnu ka tilla. I cannot have enough of this place. Love it.
Altogether ana amazing place.

I really loved the ambience and the theme of the restaurant. They serve authentic Nepali food which is good and their service and hygiene of the restaurant is good
The atmosphere is delightful. I had ordered a Nepali chicken thakali thali, chicken jhol momos, and waiwai sadheko. If you're a fan of Nepal's jhol momos, this place offers the most authentic version outside Nepal. The thali was enjoyable, although the waiwai sadheko didn't quite match my taste preferences.
Great taste , exquisite ambience and exclusively Nepali cuisine. Served by a polite and well behaved staff, this place deserves a visit if you’re a regular @ Majnu Tila Market. The Jhol Momos, Wai Wai and unlimited Thali are a must have! ⭐️
For those who want to experience the rich taste of pahad, nepali culture than this place has all here you will experience the the taste lf nepal, loved the presentation, sitting area, lights, interior, service and the most important the food ordered all thali i was with my family the food was amazing this is located on 1st floor closes at 0930PM Serve the Nepali Thali, the prices are reasonable the only thing is you have to wait there is a waiting during weekend lot of varieties available from chutney mutton, chicken, fish and paneer the staff is humble and polite make you feel the way you have seen in pahad getting here is always advisable to hire auto, taxi or come to nearest metro as this is little conjested there is traffic had to find parking a part from non veg you can refill and ask fo it again unlimited rice and dal with sabji chutney.
I went on a weekday afternoon it was not crowded and the food was delivered within 5 min I loved the interior and the nepal thali was good to visit for a one time experience
Unique menu and ambience. Tasty food, generous portions, value for money. Friendly service.
Loved the decoration, wall, reminded me of nepal’s mud houses and the old Nepali songs and music.
We had Chicken thali, mutton thali, fish thali and my dad really loved his dhingro thali (zengko in Tibetan). I had chicken thali - was really good and I also had jhol buff momo on my second visit- my fav. The Jhola was spicy and 10/10. Service was great too.
Another good place for authentic Nepali food. Had Jhol Momos, Sandheko maasu here. Sitting is nice and feels down to earth. :P
There are more than two thakali. Visited this one. They have an amazing view and seating area. They have minimal in their menu but are worth it. It's basically a Nepali restro. Ordered Nepali thali, chicken salad and jhol momo. Nepali thali and chicken salad😍👌😍👌😍it's like must try. Apart from jhol, momo tasted good 😍. The price is reasonable.
Been here many times only for the Nepali Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali. Loved the food everytime. Also, apart from the Meat (Chicken and Mutton) rice and other side dishes are unlimited. Tried their Chicken thukpa once, it's very bland.
Price is very reasonable.
Service is good.
Fine Thakali and Nepali choices in the menu. Worth a try.
It was my 1st Nepali traditional style restaurant with sitting...
I love thukpa so I like the Thukpa of this restaurant.....
But i must say that the momos they made in this restaurant is good too veg or non veg both variety....
I m a non vegetarian and mostly i prefer non veg items when I eat in restaurant or dhabba or cafe but here in Thak Thakali i must say they made veg momos too good so must try...
I m a old customer of this restaurant n firstly they have few Chinese items in their menu but when I visited yesterday I saw that they include new Chinese items in their menu...
Items I tried here
Non veg thukpa
Veg steam momos
Non veg Thali
Wi wi sadeku
Jhol momos
These all items are good...
So if u visit Thak Thakali must try one of these item here....
The price of each item is budget friendly
U will thank me later....
Thak Thakali is a Nepali cuisine restaurant.
I tried Nepali cuisine for the first time and I loved it.
We ordered veg thali and chicken thali (Their Thali is unlimited except chicken and Paneer pieces😅) out of which Chicken Thali was really nice though we had to wait for quite a long time and that too on weekdays to get the food served on our table but the wait was worth it.
We also ordered Jhol chicken momo and it was nice as well.
Overall experience was really good as the ambience was nice with soft music. Just need to work on some better service.
