This place is my favourite for chowmein and so many months I ordered it again and was not disappointed. Though I must say they have reduced the quantity but that’s not a show stopper at all. The delivery was efficient too

I had breakfast from this place and it was quite nice. The alloo poori was tasty and fresh. The chhole bhature could've been less oily. Overall nice experience.
It is a famous sweet shop in lajpat nagar iv . They also provide a large variety of food starting from South Indian food like vada , idli to small bites like samosa , bread pakore . I have tried many items like samosa , vada & khandvi . All the items were delicious & delivery was also on time .

One of the famous place for Sweet Lovers, Great Quality / Packaging / Reasonable price ... Recommended Place and Please Try " Dodha Barfi " " Gulab Jamun " and Sandesh
I'd rate it 4.5 stars because it serves Gulab Jamun, Jalebi and Khoye Barfi awesome.
Added I only eat Kaju Barfi from here.
And last, it's my friend's dad's sweet shop so another plus point. 🙈😇
One of the finest sweet shops in the colony. Superb milk products and snacks served in the outlet. Love the taste of the food served !! Recommended!!
Varieties of delicious sweets including mouth watering breakfast items like rajma Rice , cholle bhature with best and economically priced.
We had kachori that was crispy in the right amount and rajma rice with full on desi masale!!
I have seen this place improvise over years. Now they have a proper restaurant upstairs. It's a delight to see the owner pack a sweet box. He packs it like a fast robot. Food is yum. Two things not to miss are golgappe and milk cake.
Love this place for their Gol Gappa Chaats, the indian sweets like Ras Malai and Besan Ladoos.
The Papdi Chat here is a must try!
The Chole Bathure are to die for!

Fast service ... sweets are ok and food like dal makhni kadhi was good and price reasonable... location perfect... would recommend if you are on budget
It is located in Amar colony market . Though a sweet shop but they also offer North Indian stuff. Ordered their chola bhatura , chowmein, gulab jamun and aloo puri
Chola bhatura :4/5 good in taste
Chowmein: 3/5 good but too oily
Gulab jamun : 4.5/5 love this one . They serve juicy gulab jamun
Aloo puri :4/5 Aloo subji is very tasty and bedmi pooris are also good
Ambience: they have seating place which can accommodate maximum of 12 people
This was unexpectedly good. We ordered samosas and paneer pakodas. The samosas were really crispy with good filling. The pakoda size was big and paneer was soft indicating that it was fresh. Overall nice place to order snacks. The delivery was also quick.
I love this place. It was apparently the first place to serve hot milk apart from that sweets are quite good relishing. Dhoklas are also very good. Chowmien is also to be tried . And one must not miss the gol gappe outside they are the best gol gappe one will ever have. Keep up the good work. Do follow us on instagram as thedelhichatterbox
It is located in amar colony main market. It's basically a sweet shop, but they serve south indian and north indian delicacy apart from regular sweets and snacks. It's been more than 2-3years now, I have been visiting this shop. Tried gol guppa, tikki, papdi, aloo chaat, samosa, bread pakoda, dhokla, chole bhature, rajma rice and offcourse tasted few desserts as well. They serve good quality food on reasonable prices. Recently I have ordered a NorthIndian Thali through Swiggy Chennai ,and it was worth a try. In this thali, i got rajma, dal makhani, sahi paneer, single piece gulab jamun, two tandoori roti, plain rice and salad/achaad. Quantity was really good, and taste was decent. And it cost me just 160rs/-
Two people can easily share this thali. :)
I would recommend this place for their sweets(specially), but other food items was decently good.
It's a simple sweet shop which provides snacks and lunch items also. Its my go to place in amar colony as this has the best combination of taste and price and though there are only three tables I have rarely eaten here standing. I can vouch for taste food items on the menu.
If you decide to go here definitely try their Aloo Poori it's really tasty , chowmein and samosa are also very good.
Good quality and taste. You should try their chats and pani puris for sure. And their sweets and namkeen are good too. Good for bulk orders and gifting options.
The food is good, Its price effective though the service can be a little slow at times but with the footfall at the place it's quite understandable... One of the most amazing thing about the place is that the food is also great and quality is not confined to just the sweets.
Juneja Sweets is quite famous in Lajpat Nagar for their quality sweets and snacks and I have been a regular here for the past 6 years! They always have a variety of fresh sweets and among the savoury items on their menu, the chole bhature and onion kachoris are a must try. Their kadah milk is yummy as well. The seating area is a little cramped and you literally have to wait till someone gets up. However, being just a sweet shop, this problem can be overlooked. The rush is insane during festivals as so many people want to get their hands on Juneja's quality products. Do drop into this place in Amar Colony market the next time you are in the vicinity.
Ambience: Good and seating available
Quality: Okayish, as the material used for making sweets are low grade and not upto the mark
Must haves: Hot and cold karahi waala milk, chat papri, aloo tikki, paneer bread pakora, dhokla, rasberry, rasgulla and rasmalai
An average sweet shop with great chat items.
I was having a morning craving for chole bhature so me and friend decided to sit and eat here. Chole bhature was good and less oily ( I loved this factor) we accompanied our bhaturas with lassi in was also good. We ended up on sweet note with rasmalai and it was fresh and so soft :)
Great place for sweet things & quick Indian bites.
Always happy with the quality of food here...fresh nd mouth watering delicacies will always tempt u as u walk in d shop..tried d new malai ghevar dis time nd it was beyond our imagination...perfectly made..lot of richness nd best tasting sweet i hae ever tasted...keep going guys...
Juneja sweets is a very famous shop among the people of Lajpat Nagar. So, yesterday I went there to taste some sweets. As I brought the seasonal Rajasthani GHEWAR ( it's my favorite sweet dish), it was looking nice, garnish with mawa, seeds and silver foil. It's really very tasty.
This shop has lots of variety in sweets, this is quite popular in occasion season.
Recently visited this place..Tried aloo tikki, dahi golgappe, kulfi faluda and hot gulab jamuns...
It tasted good...Tikki was crisp and spicy much to my taste..N gulab jamuns were yummy too
Thanks to swiggy we can see all the restaurants near to us.
Went office in the morning and got a craving for idly sambar.
Have heard before of juneja sweets so thought of trying it.
Ordered a plate of idly and vada too.
Delivery came fast and food was neatly packed.
Sambar was thick and yummy.
Loved their red chutney whereas coconut chutney was not upto the mark.
Happy eating :)
This is an age old place for sweets and snacks. I remember being a kid and visiting the place with parents for buying sweets. The jalebi's are awesome and the other savories are no less. Although i find the puri sabzi and chhole bhatire a little oily as compared to other places, they still dont lack the taste or zest of it. Juneja confectionary just opposite to the juneja sweets is also the place where we are pretty sure of getting nearly everything we dont find in the market easily.
I like this place coz it offers chaat and sweet like may places in Delhi. Whenever I go I start with pani puri, then have Dahi Puri and then a hot gulab jamun.
Everything we ordered were very tasty specially chole bature and dosa. The deliciousness of their CHOLE seems effortlessly done. Like whomever cooks back there just knows how to balance the flavors perfectly
Morning breakfast at junejas.
Chole bhature for breakfast. Chole had right amount of spices and cooked well.
Bhature were crispy and less oily which was the good part.
Also, tried the onion kachori, bread pakora and jalebies.
Been here a lot of times and never disappointed with anything they have on their menu.
I have been visiting them every once in a while since 1999. While the outlet continues the struggle to become a brand of its own, Juneja sweets is still more of a neighborhood sweet shop. Over the years this ones been through many ups and downs.
History - Back in early 2000s they were pretty ordinary in terms of quality especially for the core mithai section viz. barfi, balushahi, gajar halwa, mung dal halva etc. However, did well on certain things like rasgulia, rasgulla, rasmalai, badam milk and hot milk. Later the only additional positive was the chat counter sometime around mid 2000s.
Present - They're definitely doing better when it comes to interiors and good to have the seating back. In the interim the outlet was reduced to standing tables along the walls. Haven't tried the sweets in recent times quite honestly bcoz they don't look very enticing.
1. Pao Bhaji - pretty sad as expected. Not recommended.
2. Rasgulla - if you're in the vicinity jump over to Gopala next door for better ones
3. Chaat, Tikki n Golgappas - They're decent. Tikki/ Tawa aalu is nice too. Perhaps your best bet in the vicinity, given Nanhe Bhai's counter in the by lane across the road doesn't quite meet the hygiene threshold. Again, if you willing to travel just a little bit Bengali sweets, south ext will serve better stuff.
4. Badam milk n hot milk are not the same anymore. Stranded without options ? go ahead n try it's decent.
I just love this place just because of the price and seriously food does worth it . I love their panipuri and paneer dosa . And even they are famous in whole lajpat nagar just because of their sweets 😍
The sweets are average and so are the chole batture, nothing too good, and none too bad, apart from the samosas, they are horrible.
But if by any chance, you DON'T like sandwiches, please go to Juneja confectionery just opposite to this place and try out the chicken sandwich or the veg pasta sandwich. Yes you read it right, because these sandwiches are so good, that you will fall in love with them. And they are priced perfect too, 50 for the chicken and 40 for the pasta, but the taste is priceless!!!!
I've rated this place solely on the Sandwiches(5) and sweets(3), because the remaining food items here barely makes past 2. Apart from that, the place is clean, the service superb and the prices fair. There are other joints for sweets but do visit this place for the sandwiches, they are the best I've ever had!!
P.S. Always ask if the samosas or for that any fried items is fresh or not, because they do have stale ones from time to time and they forget to change or tell you because the place is always buzzing with people, but if you still don't like it,it's because they are that bad!!
its a very old shop in Amar colony.
I have tried quite a few items like paani puri, poori aloo , bread pakoda and I found all the items yum.
I've always been a fan of this place.
I can't go home if in amar colony without eating the best golgappas ever.
Not only this their service is very very fast. The owner works like the fastest man in the world.
Over a span of time, I've almost tried everything but the favourites have been.
Pav bhaji for the oozing butter taste and the way they make it.
The onion kachori is melt in the mouth.
His chole bhature are very fresh and delicious.
Not only this his hand over the South Indian cuisine is also good.
I also like his dhokla which is very juicy and moist and also idli dhoklas.
Must visit it.
Golgappas, samosas are good and many options are available in sweets...a good place...the last thing I had was lassi and it was average only but other Indian Delights are mouthwatering !!
Tikkis, Golgappas what more to say. Every Indian delighted about it. Hard to resist. I like them and yes Lajpat Nagar has a place where u get all this better. Come visit if you are a chaat lover.
Many times when I came here but never review on this sweet shop n my sister she likes noodles from here no doubt they really nice n less spicy n not over black vinegar which I personally don't like at all n but I like one morething from here tht is milk badam bottle n rasamalaai both r nice
Juneja sweets is a very popular sweet shop in amar colony. They also have a confectionary store right in front of their sweet shop, on the other side of the road. I had rasgullas the last time I visited the shop and my mom did appreciate them. They were big, juicy, and fresh. The good thing, the chaashni was not too sweet. Will definitely visit again.
Juneja sweets
one of the oldest shop which now has become a landmark of amar colony market
They have all the traditional Indian sweets and they are specialised in milk cake kalakand spung rasgullas rasmalai samosa onion kachoris almost nahi every thing they made is amazing delecious mouthwatering
Want some really yummy and mouthwatering tikkis and chaat papdi. Hitt it !!
Pocket friendly shop with really good taste.
Tikkis are crisp and spicy (they make according to your taste). They serve with dahi and onions.
Must try !
In the Amar Colony Market area, this place is difficult to miss. In fact, this is the landmark we usually mention to the Rickshaw-wala when we are trying to reach the market.
Ambience: the place was till recently a mostly take-away sweet shop, but now has three little wooden tables to sit at and eat if you would like to. The wide variety of sweets on display is very very tempting, to say the least. Outside the main door, is where the reasonably famous pani puris and aloo chat etc are sold. It has a nice street food feel with all the sizzling sounds and the bubbling oil and the golden potatoes.
Food: The sweets taste fresh and satisfying. The hot jalebis are a great idea. I recently had Pav Bhaji there, which to my immense delight, I found likeable enough. This is because I find good Pav Bhaji difficult to find in the area, so they are going to see a lot of me now. We also ordered a plate of Veg fried rice and Manchurian, which was simple and pleasant. The items are reasonably priced.
Staff: service is quick and efficient. The person at the Pav Bhaji counter reacted quite heartily when I asked if there would be butter in the Pav Bhaji and showed me a whole bowl of butter which was reserved just for it. He might have also added a little extra butter to my Pav Bhaji, I am suspicious, which I am very grateful for!
Everything is okay about this place.Good quality fresh food.Quick service.Reasonable prices.Chole bhature, noodles are okay.Awesome golgappas!
The best aloo tikki in Delhi, and the jalebis are a must try too. The place is almost always crowded so be prepared to wait for your golgappas
When I used to live here 15 years ago, this was the only shop to buy cakes, sweets and snacks inside Amar Colony Market. No doubt they are still able to maintain the same quality. They are offering Navratri food and we tried delicious Papdi Chat (left) and Sabudana Tikki (right)
Juneja's is known for having an enormous variety of sweets, which are actually worth dying for, especially their warq laden barfis.
A must visit place for the ones who crave for yummy Indian sweets to satisfy their sweet tooth.
Taste is awesome
Little bit costly
But overall amazing experience
Old shop for sweets..delicious golgappas.. must try
I like this place coz it offers chaat and sweet like may places in Delhi. Whenever I go I start with pani puri, then have Dahi Puri and then a hot gulab jamun.
Wide variety of snacks and meal options to choose from. I have tried their bread pakoras, aloo poori, Paani Puri, bhalla papdi, dhokla, vrat thali during navratas and a few more. All the items are good.
I am a big fan of this confectionery. The food is always top-notch. Order anything - dosas, chole bhature, sweets, or snacks - you will be glad that you did. Their offerings are also wide and they have some really amazing specialty items like paneer bread pakora, piyaj kachori, and samosa patty. Their customer service is good; you don't need to wait for long to get your order. The interiors are spacious and maintained with impeccable care. It's a shame that mediocre places like haldiram are more known and popular than smaller gems like Juneja.
Located in Amar colony, Juneja sweets is one of the best sweets shop in Lajpat Nagar
Do try their Dhokla, Rasmilai, coconut patties, pyaz wali kachori, gol gappa, badam milk, aloo tikki & their masala dosa all are delicious
Their family has been in this business for several years. They have slowly improved on lot of sweets, added variety and service is pretty good. Gulabjamun and Jalebi definitely recommended.
Gujiyas are in and amazing aromas and flavours, you can also experience the chocolate gujiyas
