Stopped at the Kerala House canteen for lunch while we were at New Delhi, here goes the review: The place was highly overcrowded and the place can be better managed. The seating was limited. We tried the chicken biryani and the Kerala meals. The chicken biryani was very flavourful and tasty. The portion came with 2 pieces of chicken and a good quantity of rice. The chicken biryani was priced at Rs 150 The Kerala meals were good but could have been better. It was priced at Rs 80. Overall we were happy with the food served.

Not worth the hype. We reached for lunch @ 1.15 and got the token 129. We were made to sit after waiting for 10 minutes. The Fish fry is a little bit tasty, else Chicken Biryani is not at all convincing. No taste, no gravy, half cooked chicken pieces, no special masala used as such for cooking, thick rice (not basmati). Chicken fry was also not worth the taste. You may give it a try because the cost is less. No other X factor to promote it

The food was finger licking good. The buff was cooked to perfection and marinated in delicious masalas. Authentic taste of Kerala prepared in coconut 🥥 oil

A must for anyone who wants a basic place to have an excellent Kerala meal. We had the veg meal, kappa, and fish fry between two, all super tasty. Possibly our favourite meal we've had in India. For new people and tourists, you go to the desk and buy your food, take a seat and the staff will come (may take 10 minutes or so) to get your ticket and then they go get you trays of food and bring over curries etc. There is hot dilute juice avaliable, so you don't even need to buy a drink, but there is bottled water. Glad we went here and may be back before we leave for home.

Food quality is good but not that great. When you are away from hometown for weeks or months, then you will get around 60-70% authentic Kerala taste. Not more than that. I had Chicken Biriyani, Meals, Fish curry and Fry at two three occasions. Its above average but you cannot expect that authenticity also. Pricing of food is affordable. Wheelchair accessible entry is available.

Go near to One o clock so that you don't have to wait for long, Expect a 5-1 0minutes waiting time after 1.15. फूड Buffet system and ala carte । You can order any speciality item of that day। We ordered two regular meals , comprising of rice lentil Kerala style, pacchadi, cabbage toran , papadam, sambar kind of।Then we ordered chicken curry and meat fry। Everything was above average। Chicken curry was quite tasty। Rice needs to be cooked properly। Service is good।Token system।First come first serve basis। Staff is polite। This place is simply dine and leave। Simple ambience।

Wow! Just wow.!! I had heard a lot about this canteen, but couldn't visit it till now. Now that I got this chance this Sunday , me and my friends got there, ordered veg meal with fish fry and curry. Man!! I was literally crying..! out of pure joy. For a moment it felt like a dining table at my home. 🥲🥲🥲 May be I was too hungry and tired, may be I'm over hyping it a little bit, but this meal just blew my mind. It's a Little crowded and you have to wait for around half to one hour. But, if you ask, I can take that any day.. 🤗🤗🤗 Thank you kerala house for some pure kerala flavours. ❤️

I am adding a photo of the kerala style veg meals (curd curry, rasam and pappadam are not in the photo) and fish fry. Meals ₹80 Fish fry ₹80. Meal is unlimited. I believe this is genuinely good food for the value you're paying. Genuine kerala style preparation (important to quote this because so many kerala hotels in noida provide really non kerala style food with excess oil and non coconut oil preparation) and simple food while fish fry was really good and fresh. I have read a lot of reviews here with negative content but I'd like to point out that away from home this is one of the best genuine kerala meal you can have in NCR, and at such low value. The food may not be extraordinary but does justice to the bill. Non keralites will be disappointed for lack of diverse menu (most days for lunch, meals chicken fry fish fry are the only available items and some days biryani is available). Also Kerala doesn't have tradition of serving warm meals necessarily. I could see some non keralites complaining about this while i was there. But that's the way it is in an traditional kerala home or even some hotels in Kerala. Food is cooked once (for both lunch and dinner) and is not necessarily reheated before serving. You may need to wait as per token queue. If you visit late then there are chances fish and chicken are not available. In the end please note it is a staff canteen. Not a restaurant. Thanks.

Amazing pocket friendly place to get authentic Kerala food in the heart of New Delhi. We went there for both breakfast and lunch. In just 70Rs you will get Dosa and Tea. It was good. For lunch we bought chicken biryani, chicken roast, veg meals and beef roast. The beef roast is a must try item. If you’re travelling to Delhi go there and try the food. You will love it. There will be some crowd, so try to reach early.

Now a days the Kerala house food and taste is not good.. The taste of every food they cook is no longer tasty. They are charging too much for less quantity of food. The Kerala ministry should look into this because mostly Kerala people who visit Delhi go to the Kerala House ( Restaurant) to have the same taste but they do not satisfy with the taste

It is a multistorey building, but dining is only in ground floor only and limited time serving. We have to wait for long time for food, apart from that food is good, not the best. But,in places like Delhi this place is a blessing, because price of food is cheaper compared to the counterparts

Food is good and at a very reasonable price. Taste was fully authentic. Entry is from the back side. Try to visit as soon as mess opens because the items get finished very very quickly.
