A small joint that serves good food. Their chicken tandoori wings were delicious. The lemon soda was pretty good too.
Seating space is for only few people but that doesn't prevent anyone to visit this food joint.

Pretty good food, we ordered chicken momos which were tasty, a tad bit of more onions than usual but their chicken with black bean SC with fried rice was scrumptious, I surely would reakon all of you reading this to go there as they have changed there name to Chef Salute and also there style of preparation too for better. A hidden small cosy place, though not very nicely located, still impressed us. It has just a couple of seating area. We ordered veg dimsum which were full of veggies, a plate of 6 pieces accompanied by green and red sauce. Honey Chilli Potato were good but lacked a bit of honey. Overall liked the place and would love to visit again.
Stopped at this venue randomly for lunch today. It was simply a great experience for me. It's a tiny by comfortable location for a cup of soup and some chicken roll. Will visit again.
Small and cosy place with not much shosha and staff. Just one person taking orders, serving food and making drinks atleast they have chef for food. Tried their salt and pepper chicken and chicken momos both were good. They served some herb with momos which was also good. So you can drop in there for some good food and talks.
A small, warm and cosy place to dine in at the middle circle of C. P. The outlook is really sweet and simple. The wide windows give inside's view.
The seating is kept simple and small. Decor is serene. Light Green shade color gives this place a peaceful look making it a comfortable place to sit in composure and have a food for thought.
Hygiene is well maintained. This place is so clean that it was difficult to figure out any dust particle which was truly amazing.
Menu has different categories in which various subcategories are kept. A little injustice is done to non vegetarians. I ordered Veg Thai basil bowl meal with pineapple lemon. The presentation was beautiful. Noodles and exotic vegetables in Thai sauce were very tasty.
Staff is attentive, generous and down to earth.

It’s a very small place located in the middle circle, not quite visible because of it being a bit inside. We decided to order Crispy fried vegetables, Veg Hakka noodles, and Manchurian. The vegetables were crispy and crunchy and tasted just like the ones you might find in Berco’s. They were delectable. The noodles were a bit stiff but when mixed with Manchurian gravy, they tasted a little better. The Manchurian balls were really soft and freshly made and had a nice flavor to it. The food was flavorsome and gave our taste buds a pleasant taste!
The quantity of the food served is not that good, but it sure is delicious. The service is very quick and staff is really friendly. They serve Indian and Chinese cuisine only. We believe if they could just try to improve their infrastructure to attract more customers or maybe expand the place a bit they would be a good hangout spot for all the Chinese food lovers and people on a low budget.
Chicken dimsums, Tiger Prawns and coconut base noodles, are ought to try dishes at Chonas! Fresh, tasty and hot they serve their customer with care. Though the accomodation of the place is quite small, but ambience and money sense is good one

While their Chinese grubs are sure worth a shot, it is the North Indian which makes you witness some obvious flaws in the preparations here at Chonas. Located in the Middle Circle Connaught Place, Chonas is a place that had been on my list for quite a while now until a few days back when I finally decided to visit it. The service out here is prompt, rates are affordable and the food quality is fine altogether.

The Dal was a bit unflavored and the Paneer Tikka was way too spicy. The Chilly Chicken and Noodles were great though.
My only recommendation to them would be regarding the expansion of the menu and amelioration of North Indian dishes.

Small little restaurant, located in middle circle of CP, Perfect place to have good Chinese and Thai food. I have been here now 4-5 times, Bowl meals, Crispy pepper Chicken and Khao-suey are must try and economical. They also offers some innovative options in drinks.

It is a very small place with very less sitting area in middle circle of Connaught Place in A Block. They serve chinese, thai and indian. I have tried chinese much and definatley would recommend my followers to try as it taste awesome and in light in pocket. The food item i liked much is Chilli Garlic noodles. They are super yummm. Please do not go for Veg Dimsum as they are kind of Dimosa i.e. mix of indian samosa with chinese dimsum. But will surely visit again.
A little cute outlet in CP's inner circle, serves awsome food and mocktails. I had been here for a couple of times now and have never been disappointed even once. Add on is that they play good music too.

Although i am a regular at Cp but never encountered Chonas Express over my countless visits here untill i came to Life Caffe for dinner one evening.
LOCATION: its location is downside of this place as it is located in middle circle of B-block which doesn't have that much footfall compared to inner and outer circle.
AMBIENCE: this is a small cozy place with decent interiors having seating capability if maximum 10 people with backless chairs and wall mounted table.
SERVICE: the manager and the whole staff is very courteous and helps you in deciding what to order. Service speed is a bit slow though.
FOOD: for vegetarians they have less options but whatever i had here was good in taste. Another thing i liked about this place is that it is pocket friendly and the rates of their dishes are the maximum retail prices..means no hidden taxes or whatever. I had:
● HONEY CHILLI POTATO: Crispy potato fingers glazed with a perfect honey chilli sauce.
● CHILLI PANEER: it tasted a bit bland but they changed it and made it spicy as per my demand.
● PANEER TIKKA: properly marinated and barbecued.
Crispy chilly potatoes are one of the quick bites you can rely on when you check into this cute little restaurant in CP! They have reformed their menu to include a variety of bowl meals as well as creating a fusion by offering Indian meals. Light on pocket and student friendly!

A very pocket friendly eating joint, with amazing foood. All the dishes seemed mouth watering, but we ordered a chicken tikka roll and a chicken seekh roll which was absolutely scrumptious.
We also ordered chicken dimsums which were average.

Small cute joint in the middle of CP. One can easily miss it. People are really gentle and kind here. Food is pretty good as well. The quantity is more than enough for the price. Try the rolls. They were a surprise.

This is one place in CP, where u should always land up in case one is looking for quick meal (chinese/thai/indian) or peaceful ambience. The cafe is small and only has 4 tables (best part). So you can easily chill out, relax and enjoy food listening to calm soothing music. Food variety is nice and good. The service and the smile on the managers face is welcoming. And on top of this - the price of all food items are inclusive of taxes. Do try their aam panna - my personal best.

It's a small but very cozy place in CP. Right opposite the tourist information centre. Food is okay. Though the overall feel is good. A relaxed place to have a snack/ lunch walking around CP. Peaceful music. A place to recommend. Thumbs up !!
I get very happy to see so many new places coming up in Connaught place. Since I live close by, I was really frustrated when one of the most beautiful parts of the city was under renovation. It went on for so long that I had almost forgotten the charm it carried. But after the revamp, there is nothing that can stop CP to get back to its glorious days.
i ordered from chonas express, and basically, it was a corporate lunch. i ordered chilly garlic noodles, manchurian, fried rice, and etc. the taste, the service, and everything was good. want to order again and again for chinese.. loved it.

It's a cozy little joint with seating for almost five -6 people. On the managers recommendation we had vegetables in Sichuan sauce and veg chilly garlic noodles along with Crystal veg dimsums. What a delight the dimsums were. Loved them totally.
The food was outstanding and worth every penny. And it's also a pocket friendly place.

In the middle lane (where Nizaam's is) . Really small and nice. The food is very nice and cheap. Got 3 dishes or so and paid only about Rs. 700. No hidden taxes or anything what you see is what you pay. I personally like the idea. They can alter according to your taste . Nice. By the way if you are thinking is this the same one which was in Khan Market. Then you are correct!!
I was here last week with a friend and I personally like small cafes like chonas. The food was good and pocket friendly. You must try the unique drinks out there. And the dimsums they serve are just awesome. Noodles and Manchurian are average. But you should try the drinks and the dimsums at least once.
Located in the middle lane, it's hard to spot. It's quite small but I really liked this express! Had veg chilly garlic noodles and dimsums which tasted good. For drinks we had topical sunset which was also good and masala lemonade which was amazing.
Was walking by the lanes of CP and just found out this place. Albeit not that big, still offers amazing food. Tried chef veg special soup and thats what we need in a cold winter eneving. Bliss.

A small restaurant on the inner circle, can hardly be noticed. Max 10 people can sit. Backless chairs and wall mounted table but a very decent interior. Give you a very traveller feeling. Can see foreigners at times here. And everybody interacting with each other. Dinning here is fun.
Things I have tried here are American Choopsey, Chilli Garlic Noodles and Chinese stuff and it was good.

Chicken was well cooked , very juicy and crispy. I had never tried khao suey before but I loved it. And the cooler was best, with the most authentic taste possible.
This place is hidden in middle circle (in nizam's lane) but has great food. Will definitely visit again.
A fresh change from the regular CP eat outs. Surprisingly, they offered a great variety of vegetarian food. Loved their veggie sizzler and the tawa paneer. The owner was a very pleasant and warm person and the chef happily accommodated our requests, and made the food as per specifications! And, not to forget, it was well-priced.
The seating has been designed such that you could get a quick bite while you are on the run. Not a place to bond over food, but possibly to bond with food.
A nice cosy space in the middle lane precinct of the Connaught place, crafted for hoppers who crave for something surely more than just grabbing a typical roll or a sandwich. At this point, everyone brought up in Delhi knows all the old joints in CP inside and out, so we were looking for something new and found this. Dishes we ordered:1. Tandoori Chicken: Decent, slightly raw near the bone.
2. Khao Suey Curry: Inauthentic, but quite tasty. Got most things right.
3. Chicken Taka tak: Sucked. Gravy tasted like a poorly made tomato-infused tadka.For about 300ish per head, this place is pretty good! Their taste in music is hilarious - they play 90s bollywood songs in a place that has Italian cafe style decor.

I have been a regular visitor in this cool joint in the middle circle of B block CP. This place has a beautiful ambience where u can just relax and enjoy the great food. The star dish here is khao suey, which is a Thai dish with coconut based gravy. It's a must have. I have hd khau suey at many other joints in Delhi but this is one tasteful exception. burst of flavors in your mouth and u will be left craving for more. Chicken dimsums and fish fry are great and a must mention. Plus their newly launched sizzlers are crispy and delicious. Their coolers like aam panna and kala khatta are soo refreshing. In short a great menu and amazing food to satisfy your palate. Special mention of the amazing and friendly staff here who will make your visit even more interesting.

In search of a new food joint I had reached here. Though it's a very small place but I liked the atmosphere very much. It's well decorated and clean. When it comes to food you get plenty of options to choose from. The food was delicious and specialy the green saws which they serve with dimsum. The cherry on the cake is the behaviour of the owner. Would like to visit again.
At first little bit confused about what to order but ended up with chonas express khao suey which was awesome and yummmmm then we had mutton rolls which is not the best I can say. Mutton was raw and hard but overall nice place. Don't forget to have sunset fusion in mocktail. :)
Ultimate mocktails with the taste of heaven especially the strawberry lemonade and citrus sunshine. And the dimsums are to die for. I am surely gonna visit again to have those yummieliously mouth watering dimsums.

Chonas express was a delight to indulge for both quick bite and full meal. It's freshness is appealing and so is food. By far the most fresh, juicy and soft chicken I enjoyed in a Thai cuisine. Tried Chonas special khou suey in chicken, chilli chicken and fried rice. Everything turned out to be awesome to taste and absolutely fresh. Dimsums are fantastic with just the thinnest layer and juicy stuffings. Crushers were a good add on, tried pineapple-lemon and chocolate smoothie. Definitely visiting again. Best
Chonas Express in CP quite cool simple yet loveable place to hang around with friends and the foods are also very good in taste......Really like the Aam Panna with crushed ice.... it was refreshing in that hot weather .... Nice taste, nice food , nice people, Awesome drink 😋 just give a try... its great place.

One of the most delightful place in CP offering good food in sprightly ambience. The khao Sui soup that we ordered was made to perfection. Prawns were amazing. Staff is good & courteous will definitely come again .

After serving food for various years in Khan Market, Chonas Express opened up in Connaught place recently. Located in the middle circle (same lane as legendary Nizam’s) the place is your den to grab a quick bite.
Their menu is extensive and you have variety to choose from. Different types of dim sum, noodles, oriental snacks, rolls and kebabs are served here. The food is affordable, yummy and it’s exactly what Connaught Place needed.
I had chicken Dim sum, Honey chilly potato and Aam panna here. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The Dim sum were prepared with the rice sheets and a good mix of minced chicken with Chinese herbs. Served with soy, vinegar, chilly and oriental sauce, these dim sum were mouth watering and so were the Honey chilly potato.
Easy on the pocket, great service and perfect foe quick bites, one must visit this place.
